Once you get going it gets easier. You can do it. Welcome to DDs. Be sure to eat enough that you don't get into a deprivation mode. That actually will cause your metoablism to shurt down. Eat plenty - but make it mostly healthy things. No starving - just a new way to feed.

Welcome. I hung the Serenity Prayer on my mirror. There are things in life that you cannot change but your body is something you can change. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but it can be done. Hang up whatever else motivates you. I have pictures of my kids, wedding and bridesmaid dresses (my sister's wedding next year) a picture of myself at the weight I want to be again, my girlfriend, my pastor (he's the "drill sergeant". If I tell him I'm going to do something, I better do it), the list of things I need to do to succeed, and a swan. I know the swan seems strange but when we did a bible study on spritual gifts and our SHAPE, part of my thing was that I was a swan raised in a family of ducks. The problem is that I am the heaviest and the one failing miserably in life so that is my motivation to change much more than my body. You can be successful and we will be here every step of the way.
