In such a blah mood today......I hate that 3 months of jury duty hanging over my head!  Don't want to wish my life away but I want it to be the middle of November so bad to have that behind me.  I'm definitely in a rut...I need a new attitude...( isn't that a song...LOL).............

Breakfast = 2 toasted English muffins with butter, pb and jam....drinking lots of water....I have really learned a lot about coffee and me....I had coffee yesterday morning as a test and it messed my stomach up all day. of course I was having a bad day anyway but it really messed with me......I have learned that I can have coffee in the evening...with no trouble...weird....maybe because I had been starting the coffee on an empty stomach in the morning..........live and learn.

Lunch= low blood sugar...so ate 4 bites of cookie and had some tea...and that straightened it out....then after awhile had tuna salad on 6 crackers and some pringles

Dinner = chop suey and melon and more tea

Evening = 1 cup coffee, chocolate and cheezits...blood sugar is really being a problem lately

Day started out really crappy here...woke up to find that my phone wouldn't work....so I tried to do a hard shut off and it tried to shut off for hours...so finally it ran out of battery and I'm recharging it now to see if that helps....if not...then  have to go buy a new one tomorrow...UGH....that set the tone for the day and I went on a junk binge.  My husband had been trying to call and had left me messages and he came flying in the house thinking I was dead or something ( ever since my Mom died in her sleep 2 years ago he has been keeping a close eye on me....I hope he gets  over that pretty soon.).....but it all seemed to lead to junk eating...I was almost convinced not to post today but decided differently I need to be accountable so.....

Breakfast = coffee, banana, Kodiak high protein pumpkin muffin

Lunch = 1 biscuit with butter and ham, 2 mini size 1 serving gummies, 1 pumpkin nutrigrain bar, rice krispie treats, coffee

Dinner will be = corn on the cob, cucumber slices, pepper strips, tomatoes and bacon (this bacon is very unusual, it's end pieces and huge pieces that cooks up more like regular pork than actual bacon as I know it so we eat it as a meat at dinner sometimes.

Evening = tuna salad with 6 crackers, chips, cookies

Have that food fit out of the way...tomorrow iws another day...on a happier note...after hours of running the phone battery down and then recharging it from zero..it's workin again

"Food fit" -- I like that term! Been there, done that. Sometimes I'm successful in cutting off the fit before too much damage is done, but sometimes I'm not. Oh well, today is a new day...

I recently figured out that when I am heading into a binge or food fit.I really need to test my blood sugar because it's always low when I do that...yesterday I forgot about it...but remembered today...and stopped the binge before it happened with just 4 bites of cookie. Appaently it's my bodys way of telling me to eat some sugar...and I have to say that binges always involve sugar and salt.

I've decided to set up a life planner...I feel like I need to be more productive and orqanized....but then I think...shouldn't I have done this a long time ago, probably yes but better late than never.  When I worked I was super organized...when I was home I have always just winged it and I constantly find myself thinking...I'll just do it tomorrow and it seems like it doesn't get done then either.....and after a trip to sort laundry this morning I found myself eye to eye with the biggest dust bunny I have ever seen in my life and he wasn't even cute...he was flat out UGLY.  So I'm going to watch a couple of planner videos on youtube and get something set up....I have made a couple of false starts in the past..but found on the day I was going to start doing things on some kind of schedule and actually be accountable..I didn't want to get out of bed...it seemed like too much pressure...I have apparently turned into a wimp....I let myself off with doing nothing...AGAIN.  Well not anymore,  I've been sitting around looking around and feeling kind of down because of the disorganization here...I really don't like that feeling...I want to get organized and stay organized...I know WHAT to do...it's just the doing it that escapes me......( insert evil laugh here).

Breakfast = ham and cheese sandwich on 15 grain bread, coffee

Snack= orange juice

Lunch=small amt of baked chicken, green beans and 2 biscuits with butter

evening = coffee and yogurt and pb and j sandwich

That sound exactly like me and dieting! OMG just do it already I keep telling myself. I am wishing you good luck with your organization.

We have an island in the middle of our kitchen. My dear husband tries to clean it off often. But you know somethings just don't have a place to go, so they sit there. It is all my stuff and I just don't know what to do with it.

For instance I was unpacking boxes and found some lifetime warranty documents for windows and siding and garage door for the house I sold in OK. I keep telling myself these might be useful for the new owner and want to mail them the documents, but I haven't yet...because I don't know why. Now I will do it! Thank you!

That kind of stuff piles up here too...and our kitchen table seems to be the place. I have a basement full of many bins from my parents house...they have been sitting there for 2 1/2 years now...I need to get busy with those too.

DoItOnADime do it on a dime has a lot of great ideas....KneadyHomesteader also ...I'm going to look for more....it does appeal to the writer in me.....my Mom always said if it was made of paper...or fabric it was an obsession for me...she was right. I love making the folder...it will be the following of it that I will find harder...LOL...I did get a little timer and I set it for 15 minutes,,,and get buy to see how much I can get done in that time..and it's pretty impressive...will keep that idea for sure.

Oh yeah. Setting a timer helps. I have a hard time setting up an efficient, orderly space, but if someone sets it up for me and I put labels for where everything goes I can keep it that way without problems. I struggle with my parents place because they just have piles and piles of stuff. There's no rhyme or reason to why things are where they are. I ended up creating a pile out of my stuff on top of their stuff... so I had to pull my stuff off and put it in pop up hampers and then sort through their stuff, organize it, then sort through my stuff. I think the pop up hampers really helped because it was defined scope... i only have to get through what's in the hamper and then I am done for the day. I only have 3 5 gallon buckets left to organize and put away. I'll probably use the hampers for camping trash barrels when I am done.

Home waiting for deliveries today..and a lot of housecleaning.  Having a hungry day...UGH

Breakfast = coffee, egg salad sandwich, red pepper strips

Lunch really wasn't a lunch...just eating = mixed nuts, chips and ice cream....waiting for the man to get home...not hungry now!

Dinner will be ham, fresh tomatoes and red peppers and white rice...sipping on another cup of coffee now

 Evening snack = granola, almond milk ad banana

Do you have any seltzer you can drink? herbal teas?

Also, you can pig out on veggies if you have any cooked ones that you like...maybe make some sugar free pudding or jello?

Read your post too late...UGH...all good ideas...deliveries are the standard...protein shakes for the man...TP...jerky for the man...not fun stuff.

Dark and rainy here today...and very sleepy...every once in a while I want to sleep all day...but usually sleep all night too so I guess I need it....husbands home today...no bear hunting today...( he doesn't actually hunt them...he trains dogs with them...the bear run...the dogs run...they all seem to enjoy it....bear goes up a tree and watches crazy dogs at the bottom...fun was had by all apparently...Me..I don't have that kind of energy...I just enjoy the quiet day at home.

Breakfast = 2 eng muffins with butter and peanut butter and coffee

Lunch = ham and cheese sandwich, cornbread stuffing and ice cream

Weird lunch I know......made hubby a steak for his meal and along with a veg...I made him a box of stuffing......now...I know you cannot get any easier than boiling water...adding stuffing mix and butter and waiting 7 minutes.............for the first time in my life I messed it up...because my regular measuring cup was dirty...I used  a different one...and put in TWICE the water it called for.....UGH....old age aint pretty...enjoy your youth while you can!!!

So anyway...I had to try his cornmeal mush!  Luckily he is doing stupid things too...and we laugh at it.

Just not hungry today...not a veg or fruit crossed my lips and I don't care...I'm not going to eat just to eat.....the last 2 days I ate tons of greens in my smoothies so maybe that is why.

Quiet day here today....It's my husbands birthday and there will be cake...LOL and an eclipse...LOL

Breakfast =boiled egg, banana and another green drink like yesterday made from greens, grapes and almond milk. coffee

Lunch = small amt steak, rice with gravy, tomatoes and birthday cake with ice cream

anyways, we saw the eclipse up to 70% of the sun was covered here around nyc. i think other parts of the country saw it get much darker.

happy bday to your hubby! what kinda almond milk do you use? 30 cal type?

I use the silk, unsweetened , it's 25 calories. We saw the eclipse about 75 percent, watched it through my husbands welding helmet. Really interesting. Otherwise, we watched it on TV

Weight stayed the same today and I was kinda glad about it...when I lose too fast I get light headed and that's not good....spending the day at home doing laundry and general housework today...Hubby is out running his bear dogs...and the weather is lovely....just inhaling the peace and quiet and surfing the net right now

Breakfast = green smoothie drink ( greens, grapes and almond milk)

Lunch= 4 crackers with cheese, 1 little applesauce cup and 1 serving pocky ( hope that was the last box)

Dinner = pasty with gravy and coffee

Evening = quest protein bar

Your smoothie drink sounds delicious and low calorie. Is the almond milk a low sugar / no sugar added type? How many calories are in a cup of your almond milk? And do you add ice to the smoothie ? I am interested bc I have a blender, Ninja I think?, that’s good and I never use it….Similar to my nice veggie slicer (mandolin it’s called) that I also do NOT use! I just forget about it / don’t set aside time to cook roasted veggie chips…I find if I do not PLAN to make something or PLAN to stay home …it’s not happening!

Lol, I know those pocky things…they are an Asian dessert cookie pirouette type of rolled thing! Lol.

I used to eat those Quest bars too often so I lost my taste for them….like at my worst, up to 3 a day!

Scale continuing to drop...stepping up the cals a bit today to slow it down a little.

Went to Walmart early today...first time driving the new car and first time taking the route I did...still took an hour to get there but it was many miles of nothing but trees...lovely.  Didn't eat until I got home around 11...had a few new little oreo things called churros...still don't know what they were but they were kinda like cake...very small serving.

Lunch was 1 toasted English muffin with butter and natural peanut butter and a cup of hot apple drink

Dinner will be yesterdays leftovers  augratin potatoes with ham, corn on the cob and fresh salad ( mixed lettuce,  red pepper, radish

Evening will be coffee...that's working for me...caffeine never has kept me awake.

Is anyone else here a prepper?  We store shelf stable food for any possible disaster..I've been doing it for the last 17 years...and around here with all the snow...it really comes in handy...keeps me from driving in snowstorms and sliding into ditches.  It also makes meal planning simple since we usually have just about anything at easy reach.  Perishables still need to be picked up regularly but we can also do without those if need be....with the continuing unrest in this country...I really like to be ready in case stores don't have anything on the shelves and gas stations are closed...just makes me feel more secure.

We went for a ride in the dark last night in the new car to check the headlights...they sure are weird these days...but I love equinox's...this is our third...and we enjoyed the ride...then home again so that hubby could show me the nighttime headlights in his recently purchased truck....very similar....he isn't impressed...me...I'm ok with them...MEN!

Had another nice weight drop today..but I don't want it to happen tooooo fast...that might be unhealthy..so I'm eating a little more today...but never in any kind of quantity..I need to conquer that need to over eat.  I'm feeling great...fluid retention in my lower legs is improving...and 'I'm just in a good happy place right now.  Sleeping great, walking is easier and I'm feeling a definite difference.


Breakfast = banana

Mid morning snack = 1 little fruit cup (pears) and 2 little ternary toasts ( a kind of dry bread with a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar that is made by a bakery up here)...sipping my water.

Have to stay home today because the schwans frozen grocery delivery guy will be here....they give me a 3 hour window for their arrival....fine with me...I have a lot of paperwork and phone calls tp make today so I'm plenty busy!

Lunch= 1 cup vegetable chicken stir fry and some chips

Dinner = potatoes augratin with ham and onions, tomatoes and cucumbers

Evening= coffee

Progress as of today: 7.4 lbs lost so far, only 118 lbs to go!

Nice choice on vehicle! An “American Brand” although I’m sure most the parts are not. That’s how it’s been in US for awhile, duh. But the Equinox has a really nice look! What color did you get? And a perfect car for the country roads, I am quite sure! Whenever it comes time to my purchasing a “new-used” vehicle, like in a few years from now, I may actually get an Equinox or another vehicle of similar make that handles the SNOW well.

I’m glad you are doing better. I think a sorta good solution to not eating too little is to make sure to eat most meals…but I’d say if you do not like breakfast, the foregoing it is probably not a bad idea! Many people eat late breakfasts or early lunches. So I would say it’s ok. I am not a person who skips, but I know people who wait to eat till later.

The car is a navy blue and looks different in different light, its metallic. All wheel drive is something I have to have here...or 4 wheel drive...but this all wheel drive is fine for me...since I don't have to drive to work in bad weather any more.I can pick the nicest days to go out. I can do just fine not eating until 1 or 2 in the afternoon....been that way my whole life...but I now working on very small servings and it's working fine.

Scales dropped again today...I sure can see why...I really didn't eat much yesterday.....and I'm happy with the way it is all going right now....today is a test run....the lease on our car is running out and so we have to find another lease car today.....so....we will be away from home for hours....my old panic....but it's looking good so far...feeling good....thinking positive.  This a good test......and I keep reminding myself that on the program MY 600 POUND LIFE....those people actually eat  little before and after their surgeries..they live on their fat....so....I'm sure I'm fine doing this for now....

Breakfast = none...just sipping on a little water

Hello there BCGG!

Just make sure not to starve yourself ok ok? – be a good girl but also plenty of people do something called “Intermittent Fasting.” And they typically have a late or no breakfast, only coffee or water as you are. It works for them. I don’t like that way, but it works for them! So maybe your body is best this way, too.

Hey…if you need a bathroom, just use a restaurant bathroom! You’ll be ok BCGG!!! But I do understand your panic as it’s not something you are used to right now. Oh wow that show sounds nutz! I will maybe look for it on YouTube. But I wouldn’t follow what these 600lb people do – because you are NOT the same as them! You don’t wanna eat too little…when you are home, you’ll be able to have a nice meal tonight! include some veggies, babe!

Also, keep up the good work on managing your IBS…!

Thank you for the encouragement....it all went really well...got a new car...we were gone for 6 hours and no problems at all....we did stop at mcdonalds and I got a cheeseburger, fries and diet coke...not really the healthiest but we were both starving...it was pouring rain the whole time we were gone. Went through the drive through because while we were gone the electric company texted me that our power was out due to a tree down but that they were working on it...so we didn't want to be gone any longer than needed. That will be my only meal for the day...and it did have onions...LOL...anyway...will probably have coffee a little later...the test run was fantastic...so now since I just ate cheese and diet coke...I will see what happens. Anyway...I'm feeling great...I'd say that it's going well as long as I eat what I need to..I'm actually feeling lighter and that can't be bad...LOL

sometimes an indulgence is WORTH IT :) just not EVERYDAY...love that it had onions...don't forget it had tomatoes in the ketchup and pickled cucumber too! haha ;)
