I was up to 153 pounds when I woke up this morning. I ate pretty clean today so let's see what happens tomorrow.  The weather is weighing me down (no pun) and I have no motivation to exercise with the temps being as low as they have been. 

I had coffee and cream for breakfast, a tricked out salad for lunch, a yogurt for snack and a frozen dinner with chicken, green beans and a glass of wine for dinner tonight.

Tomorrow I get to go into work and am planning on bringing a yogurt, protein bar and a frozen dinner for meals. Oh and I have an interview too. Wish me luck!


Progress as of today: -1 lbs lost so far, only 18 lbs to go!

Weather s/b mind over matter I suppose, but sometimes that tactic just doesn't work! I hope you get some warmth soon!

So I've been drinking way too much and put on a couple pounds. Once I start (drinking wine), I have a real hard time stopping at 1 or 2 drinks.

 I've been reading that there's nothing worse for one's health and that if I have 4 drinks a night on the weekends, I will put on 15 pounds a year.

No wonder.  Ugh.

I'll weight myself again tomorrow and will post the new weight - whatever it is.

Progress as of today: 1.2 lbs lost so far, only 15.8 lbs to go!

Hello Diarists - so I didn't get to exercise again today... Those who have the motivation to, in this bitter cold weather, please stand up! I have to do it here at work, during lunch break or I never will.

* Movement on the scale - and it's going the right way!

Great loss, congratulations! My regular outside exercise consists of snowplowing and shoveling, and that's only because it's absolutely necessary. Do you usually walk? I don't blame you for not wanting to go out in the cold.

I don't know about you guys but I did HORRIBLE this weekend. I must have had an entire week's calorie allowance on Superbowl Sunday only. I drank too much and ate way too much so now I'm dealing with the after-effects of it all.

Yesterday I had an OK day diet-wise and today's been OK so far but I feel like my body is still trying to process all the junk I ate....  Ekkkkk! 

B: Coffee and Vanilla Nugo Bar

L: Frozen dinner, a small piece of chicken and beans

S: A cheese sandwich (this is the toughest time for me, I want to eat my entire house right around 3:00PM)

D: Chicken sausage, veggie, pasta

Progress as of today: 0 lbs lost so far, only 17 lbs to go!

OMG, has it been this long since I was here? Well, I always seem to find my way back,don't I?

Unfortunatelly, I gained so much weight over the holidays and I am up and in the 150's again (for the past couple of years I've been around 145 or so, which after having had 2 babies is incredible!).  Anyway, I'm gonna try really hard to get back on track.... Yep, again!

Small bowl of spaghetti and 2 meat balls, lots of seltzer water

No exercise today.

Hello Diarists!!! Gosh, I haven't posted in a loooooooooooooooooong time! I spent the holidays in South America and then upon my return to the US I was advised that I was going on a business trip to Japan and Singapore. So I�ve been pretty much out of the country for the past couple months. For whatever reason, I have been able to (mostly) stay on my diet and exercise plan and to date I have lost 19 pounds!!! I have added a ton of muscle mass, I can totally see definition on my legs and arms (still need to work hard on my abs though) � but for the most part, I have to say that this program has been working phenomenally for me!

I�m much happier with the way I look and especially with the way I feel. I am going thru a painful divorce, which will be over in a couple of weeks, so this program and exercising regularly have kept me sane!

Off to read some of your diaries! Hope all is well!

Welcome back! It's great to hear from you! Congrats on all your weight loss...wow! You've done an excellent job!

Sorry to hear about your divorce...but I'm glad you have been able to find comfort in exercise! Some people turn to food for comfort, but it sounds like you've chosen a healthier alternative!

Sorry to hear about your divorce :( but it sounds like everything is working out for you. Your doing wonderfully and what a busy lady you are. I think of myself sitting here with the baby day in and day out and I get envious of those who travel sometimes. I just want to get to the STORE once in a while lol. And I would be happy. Way to go!! You give me hope! I just started a modified body-for life program and am SO glad to hear someone else has had success with it. You were 158 in November and lost so much weight already. I'm glad I chose this! Hope you keep doing good and losing!

Okay Folks!!! � As we all know, there's good pain and bad pain. Right now I am in awesome pain! Let me explain: I had 2 sessions with the PT - one on Monday (upper body plus cardio, as well as a session with the nutritionist) and one on Tuesday (lower body plus cardio). Now let me tell you something: I thought I knew how to weight-lift, but after those 2 workouts I can honestly say that I never, ever really worked out to my potential. It is incredible what a difference it is with having a person there just to monitor and ensure that you are giving your workouts your 100%. I am excited and seriously thinking about entering the 12-week �Body-For-Life� Challenge. I have this incredible belief in myself now, this belief that �I can do anything I set my mind to!!� (Though having the PT and the nutritionist makes all the difference in the world, in terms of having the proper support and guidance.)

The only issue I have in regard to entering the contest is that I will be traveling overseas for 3 weeks in December/January and it is hard to stay focused when you are not in your every day environment/routine, but I am tempted to try! What do you guys think?

I requested the informational packet for the Challenge today � I�ll let you know what I decide! Won�t it be cool to record my struggles and progress on this Website? In a way, we will all be doing this together, don�t you think? :)

PS1: On the eating front (which is what worries me the most) I am doing incredibly well. I have not cheated at all. My energy level is very low right now, and I suspect it is because I � completely � stopped eating sugar and my body is definitely feeling it. But everything else is right on track!!!

PS2: Thank you for you inspirational comments and even e-mails!!! I�ll be checking up on your progress as well!!!

Off to the gym for some cardio and later today, after work, I�ll top it off with a soccer game. Take care and I hope your day is going great!

You must be proud of all that hard exercising that you're doing. Working out can make you feel so empowered!!!

About the sugar withdrawal ... if you can ride out the cravings and the low energy, etc., it will be worth it in the end. You give up sugar and you end up with no cravings ... ever!!!! Some people think it's not a realistic way to live but I'm just so glad to be relieved of the sugar callings. The last time I ate sugar was September 14, 2003. Trust me, it's worth it just letting it go.

Loads of luck with your challenge!! I say GO FOR IT!!!

Good Morning Diarists! Today is the beginning of a new year in my life - yep I turned 31 yesterday - and of my work toward achieving a new body. I gave in and hired a personal trainer on Friday! Now I am making a financial commitment - on top of my own internal one - to change my body - which will keep me honest -- at least for the next 6 weeks!

I am just so excited -- And I can�t even believe how, since this whole thing, the personal training sessions that is, is extremely inconvenient for me considering my work schedule, price I am paying for them, great distance from the studio to my work and home -- But hey, I believe that I will achieve my goals -- sooooooooo... it is totally worth it! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I have a session with the nutritionist and another one with the personal trainer today! I�ll let you guys know how it goes!

A couple of years ago I was writing here @ DD. My goal was to lose 15 pounds for my wedding, which I did. Then the last time I wrote here, my weight was way down (138) because my marriage was in big-big trouble. Well, 2 and a half years later, here I am again. Unfortunately, we didn�t make it and now I am back here for myself. My weight is currently way up, I think because my anxiety level was also way up. I�ve been on my own now (moved out) for about 2 months, so I think now it�s time to do some investing in myself.

My plan is to cut back my portions and avoid high-fat, high-calorie meals and exercise.

Food Log (plan):

B: latte and Total cereal with skim milk.

L: Spanish rice and beans

S: Popcorn

D: Chicken Fricassee and rice

S: Sugar-free, skim chocolate milk

It�s good to be back. I�m off to reading some diaries.
