Went to yoga this morning with the husband (we started going twice a week) and feel great.

Went to visit my husband's grandparents this weekend in Buffalo, NY. We had a nice visit, but we both got home with sore throats!

Did slightly better with food, but still had deserts. Down 2 lbs from last week. Not so bad.



B: cereal, milk, honey 400

L: bread, salad, chicken 650

D: bread, pulled pork, salad, juice, raisings

 Hello ladies,

Yesterday I had my second yoga class! It's twice a week, at the park and free! Husband and I went together. I loved the teacher, the class, the group. I am really hoping they get an indoor space and keep offering it once it gets colder. if not, I will just ask her where she teaches and go there.

I was SO SORE the past two days! Ouch! But the soreness is a nice reminder that I worked out and did something good for my body and my health. Which I have not been doing much of lately. 

As I told grategrl, my first goal weight will be what I weighted last time I posted here prior to coming back this week. 21 lbs less! It's crazy how easy it is to gain. I am very compulsive about food and need to get in control. But exercising helps control the anxiety and compulsion, so I feel like this week have been successful already in that sense.

More to come! Glad to be back.

I will leave you with my silly dogs.

Glad your yoga class is going well for you and that you are enjoying it. It's always a bonus when we enjoy what we are doing as it feels more like fun rather than work. LOVE the pictures of your dogs. They are beautiful!

 Hello again, my long lost diet friends!

I haven't been here in a while, which usually means one thing: I have not been good at keeping my eating healthy and weight under control.

J and I got married 4 months ago and it was awesome. There were a lot of festivities, first in Brazil, then here in the US.

And after so many events, hosting parents in the US for a couple of weeks, moving to a new house and honeymoon, now I see myself 20lbs heavier than last time I was here!!!

Time to tackle this!

I will start posting my foods tomorrow. I am happy to say we woke up early for a yoga class this morning. I am planning to do it twice a week.

I will leave you with a wedding picture. :)

  Hello everyone,

I have definitely been missing, but it's been completely crazy over here. Planning a wedding overseas (I am getting married in May in my hometown in Brazil), moving out of state in January (back to Atlanta) and also shopping for a house. Oh and I do have a full time job and we have 3 dogs! Hahaha. Not a dull moment over here.

I really haven't been thoughtful of what I eat, have been wanting desert and cheese. i am lucky I haven't gained. But I really need to get back on track. So give me another day of lazyness and I promise monday I will go back to logging my food. 

On other news, my best friend who is a super talented photographer took some really cute pictures of Jason and I and the dogs for the save the date card (she is based in LA, but she works in the whole country and her prices are reasonable, if you need a photographer, check her out www.cacasantoro.com). So here is how cute our save the date turned out! There's a white frame that you can't really see.

Anyway, the dogs sitting still crack me up!

 No progress on the diet at all, as I was out of town celebrating OUR ENGAGEMENT and then my birthday!

So yea I gained 1,4 lbs, but I am oh so happy!

J proposed on Nov 1st, in our house, and brought me gorgeous flowers.

We are happy as can be!

Congrats on your loss. In some ways, sleeping more makes sense, especially if you did in fact get a lot less sleep the days/week before. It probably is your body's way of telling you what it needs. :-D

 Hello again, girls.

Another hiatus but here I am again! I always come back!

My trip to LA + parents visiting us in Houston equaled gaining a good few pounds! So I started WW online - this is my second week. I lost 4 lbs on the first week which was awesome and I am still above what I was before. Gee! Hoping this time counting the points and such makes me stay on track. Feeling good so far and survived my first weekend counting points. And I managed to have some ice cream (with baked pear, yum!) and a couple of glasses of champagne and stay within my points range. :)

While in LA, my friend who is a photographer, took some pictures of J and I. We didn't have much time so we went outside her apartment door for 5 minutes and she took these. I love them. :) And I had zero make up on! Haha

I will be popping in and out, once a week hopefully, since I am already tracking on the ww website.

Got my period today. Not sure that was putting an extra 5lbs on me or the scale is nuts, so I will try to weight in again in a few days when that is over.

In any case, I do feel progress.

I am sure once your period is done you will be right back to loss mode..That is the main reason why I didn't weigh during TOM because it can be so frustrating.. Have a great weekend Grumpy :)
