Lunch: zuchinni salmon boats, salad, small cup of homemade turkey chili

hi grumps! nice to read a pot from you! somewhere recently, I read how the best chili will always be homemade chili as so many types that are already prepared have tons of additives and fat. love your idea of zucchini salmon boats....great way to get veggies in! for breakfast, the 1% milk - I have learned to eat/drink more high fat dairy...and I will tell you, it's the BESt...so much more satisfying and filling...it keeps me full longer even if there is more calories.

Haven't been posting lately. Need to start getting into the habit again and also to log my food. However we have been eating at home much more often and even though I need to do a lot of work on portion control, just because we have been eating in I have lost another few pounds. I also sprained my ankle two weeks ago, so I have not been able to go to yoga since. In the first few days I couldn't even walk. But I am getting better and should be able to exercise soon. Husband said he would be up to trying hot yoga with me, so as soon as my foot is better we will do that! Have a great week, everyone! Xoxo

Still going to yoga, still at the same weight. Haven't done much to change the eating yet.

Today my day sucked, because my computer died and my last backup was two months ago. I know, I should have backed up again, but in all honestly, how often do people back up all their data? I didn't lose much as far as work goes (this is work computer, which I use for everything). Because when I am done with a script I sent it to my boss or turn it in with my projects, so all is shared and saved somewhere else. But I was doing a video project for a freelance client, and I lost ALL of it. The video was pretty much done and the delivery date was today. However the lady who approves it has been unreachable more more than a week. Only responded to one email saying she would get back in touch. So I am completely resenting her, because otherwise I would have already deliver the whole thing yesterday, when my computer was still fine. Argh!!!!

Anyway, just needed to vent. Tonight I am going to a concert, but we decided not to miss yoga, so we will leave the class at 7:30 and change and go. I will shower right before yoga, so hopefully I wont stink. Haha.

Hope your day is better than mine! Ugh.

 Have been going to yoga and mainly eating at home, which helps. But it was my husband's bday and I baked a cake and macarons and of course, ate some!

Not to mention the many times i 'tried' the icing. BAD!

But I haven't had fast food in a while, can count on my right hand how many fried foods I had lately. So there's hope.

I will weight in this week and see where I am. And try my best to log my food, which makes all the difference in the world.

Went to visit my husband's grandparents this weekend in Buffalo, NY. We had a nice visit, but we both got home with sore throats!

Did slightly better with food, but still had deserts. Down 2 lbs from last week. Not so bad.

Today:

 

B: cereal, milk, honey 400

L: bread, salad, chicken 650

D: bread, pulled pork, salad, juice, raisings

 Hello ladies,

Yesterday I had my second yoga class! It's twice a week, at the park and free! Husband and I went together. I loved the teacher, the class, the group. I am really hoping they get an indoor space and keep offering it once it gets colder. if not, I will just ask her where she teaches and go there.

I was SO SORE the past two days! Ouch! But the soreness is a nice reminder that I worked out and did something good for my body and my health. Which I have not been doing much of lately. 

As I told grategrl, my first goal weight will be what I weighted last time I posted here prior to coming back this week. 21 lbs less! It's crazy how easy it is to gain. I am very compulsive about food and need to get in control. But exercising helps control the anxiety and compulsion, so I feel like this week have been successful already in that sense.

More to come! Glad to be back.

I will leave you with my silly dogs.

 Hello again, my long lost diet friends!

I haven't been here in a while, which usually means one thing: I have not been good at keeping my eating healthy and weight under control.

J and I got married 4 months ago and it was awesome. There were a lot of festivities, first in Brazil, then here in the US.

And after so many events, hosting parents in the US for a couple of weeks, moving to a new house and honeymoon, now I see myself 20lbs heavier than last time I was here!!!

Time to tackle this!

I will start posting my foods tomorrow. I am happy to say we woke up early for a yoga class this morning. I am planning to do it twice a week.

I will leave you with a wedding picture. :)

  Hello everyone,

I have definitely been missing, but it's been completely crazy over here. Planning a wedding overseas (I am getting married in May in my hometown in Brazil), moving out of state in January (back to Atlanta) and also shopping for a house. Oh and I do have a full time job and we have 3 dogs! Hahaha. Not a dull moment over here.

I really haven't been thoughtful of what I eat, have been wanting desert and cheese. i am lucky I haven't gained. But I really need to get back on track. So give me another day of lazyness and I promise monday I will go back to logging my food. 

On other news, my best friend who is a super talented photographer took some really cute pictures of Jason and I and the dogs for the save the date card (she is based in LA, but she works in the whole country and her prices are reasonable, if you need a photographer, check her out www.cacasantoro.com). So here is how cute our save the date turned out! There's a white frame that you can't really see.

Anyway, the dogs sitting still crack me up!
