  Hello everyone,

I have definitely been missing, but it's been completely crazy over here. Planning a wedding overseas (I am getting married in May in my hometown in Brazil), moving out of state in January (back to Atlanta) and also shopping for a house. Oh and I do have a full time job and we have 3 dogs! Hahaha. Not a dull moment over here.

I really haven't been thoughtful of what I eat, have been wanting desert and cheese. i am lucky I haven't gained. But I really need to get back on track. So give me another day of lazyness and I promise monday I will go back to logging my food. 

On other news, my best friend who is a super talented photographer took some really cute pictures of Jason and I and the dogs for the save the date card (she is based in LA, but she works in the whole country and her prices are reasonable, if you need a photographer, check her out www.cacasantoro.com). So here is how cute our save the date turned out! There's a white frame that you can't really see.

Anyway, the dogs sitting still crack me up!

 No progress on the diet at all, as I was out of town celebrating OUR ENGAGEMENT and then my birthday!

So yea I gained 1,4 lbs, but I am oh so happy!

J proposed on Nov 1st, in our house, and brought me gorgeous flowers.

We are happy as can be!

Congrats on your loss. In some ways, sleeping more makes sense, especially if you did in fact get a lot less sleep the days/week before. It probably is your body's way of telling you what it needs. :-D

 Hello again, girls.

Another hiatus but here I am again! I always come back!

My trip to LA + parents visiting us in Houston equaled gaining a good few pounds! So I started WW online - this is my second week. I lost 4 lbs on the first week which was awesome and I am still above what I was before. Gee! Hoping this time counting the points and such makes me stay on track. Feeling good so far and survived my first weekend counting points. And I managed to have some ice cream (with baked pear, yum!) and a couple of glasses of champagne and stay within my points range. :)

While in LA, my friend who is a photographer, took some pictures of J and I. We didn't have much time so we went outside her apartment door for 5 minutes and she took these. I love them. :) And I had zero make up on! Haha

I will be popping in and out, once a week hopefully, since I am already tracking on the ww website.

Tried on another dress that was tight, and it closed much easily now. Yay!

 

Got my period today. Not sure that was putting an extra 5lbs on me or the scale is nuts, so I will try to weight in again in a few days when that is over.

In any case, I do feel progress.

 

Late breakfast: 2 slices of bread 200, 2 scrumbled eggs, 180, 1/3 spoon of mayo 30 coconut water 45 - 455

S: 600

I am sure once your period is done you will be right back to loss mode..That is the main reason why I didn't weigh during TOM because it can be so frustrating.. Have a great weekend Grumpy :)

Was looking back at my entries, 63 pages and they start in 2008.  Before that I had another profile since 2007, I guess. 
Anyway, found this. That's Jason, my boyfriend I live with today. My life is so much better since I met him. He's a great guy. It was cute to find this. :)

So yesterday another healthy eating day, below 1700 calories and the scale was even higher today! 212,4! Not nice, scale!!!

I won't change my weight on here, yet. Haha. I will make sure that scale is correct first. I wore a dress yesterday that has been too tight on me all summer. I figured I needed new ways to measure my progress and It fits perfectly. Maybe I am retaining a lot of liquid before my period? But then wouldn't the dress still be tight if I weight now (according to my scale) one pound more than when it was tight? Hmmm.

Anyway, can't pay much attention to it for now. Need to focus on keep logging my food and eating well.

 

B: watermelon 50

L: greens 30 and stromboli 460, 1/2 coconut water 25, 1/2watermelon juice 40 - 555

S: Bread 200 PB 90 Honey 60 - 350

Subtotal: 955

UPDATE: I ordered a pretty dress online for J's birtday this saturday size 12, as always and this dress was too big! I sent it back and ordered the 10! I haven't got a size 10 dress in a while. That was exciting! And the dress is gorgeous!!!

I would focus on the fact that the dress fits you perfectly, rather than on what the scale says. Scales are dangerous, mean, and ornery!!! Don't listen to it for a second ;)

I agree, don't let the scale discourage you. The way your clothes fit is a much more accurate measure of your progress, so keep it up!

This morning I got on my scale and it read 211. I was at 207.4 yesterday and had a healthy eating day, so this makes no sense at all and I am guessing my scale is messed up. I tried a couple of times and it's 211.

So I guess I will try to measure my progress with clothes now. Sigh.

S: watermelon (as you can see we have a lot of watermelon in the house haha) 50

I am about to get my period. But i never weight 5 lbs more like that. Maybe 1 or 2. But yea, I will weight in again after my period and see. Another thing is, I wore a dress that has been too tight on me and it fits perfectly now, so I can't be at this weight or it would be tight. Hmm.

fluxuations are frustrating but very real! there are days i did everything right and would be up on the scale the next day then i would get a nice loss one or two days later. hang in there!
