 Sister and family are back home now. Their visit was awesome. I am sure I gained some pounds back, but I will call it a planned minor set back and I can lose them back in a week. I will weight in tomorrow and go from there.

I finished my Bikram Yoga challenge on Sunday and it all went smoothly! I loved it and recommend it! I thought of going to class last night (first day after the challenge) but I was tired and decided I will go tomorrow, thu, sat and sun. 4 times a week from now on!

Tonight I have my 3rd date with the guy, he is taking me out to celebrate the bikram challenge. :) Seems like more than 3 dates, but his traveling and my family in town kept us from seeing each other more. Hopefully now we will be able to before I leave to Brazil on the 18th for a week. 

All is good ladies. And I am back to logging my food.

 Not going to be the best week for eating with family here! But I will pick up right back when they leave on Monday. And I am not being terrible, just eating out too much, which makes it hard to keep track.

 

Bikram yoga challenge day 29! One more day!!! Yay!!!

 Skipped one day of posting but all is on track.

Just went to my bikram yoga class number 28 for the 30 day challenge!!!

Sister, bro in law and nephews are in town and I am off work. We've been having a great time. Went to the museum yesterday and then the basketball game and they loved it! Now they're shopping while I went to yoga and we are about to go to lunch.

Bikram Yoga Challenge Day 26. 

I stayed on the 950 cals yesterday which I know is not enough and I shouldn't. And today I saw a gain! Hahaha. I am laughing but it's annoying. I think I need to raise my calories, these classes burn at least 500 calories (probably more for me since I am heavier than average) and eating 1000 or 1200 calories is just not enough. I will up my calories to at least 1500 every day.

I have my sister with her husband and 10 year old twin boys arriving today to visit me for 5 days from Brazil. So I think my calories will be up no matter what. Haha.

B: bread 100 with laughing cow wedge 35 - 135

L: coconut water 60, tuna sandwich 400, superfood 190 - 650

Subtotal 785

 

Definitely upped my calories today. Ouch. Dont wanna see what will happen in the scale tomorrow, but it's my sisters family first night here, i had tacos, chips, half a doughnut... ouch. maybe 1500 cals.

I will be better tomorrow.

I bet upping your calories will move the scale, and I know it's tough to get into that mindset. Congrats - you're almost done with your challenge!!

Stuck at 202lbs. It's okay and it's been a few days so I hope to see a loss in the next day or two.

Bikram yoga challenge day 25! Wow!!!

V asked me if I was going to continue going every day after the challenge is over. I won't, it's too much time and commitment. I will aim for 4 times a week after the challenge. When I can, I will go 5, when I can't I will make sure I don't ever go less than 3. According to my instructors, 3 times is the least we should go to keep the practice and 4 or 5 would be ideal. So this is what I am shooting for. 

Talked to my new guy last night through skype as he is in Long Island for work. I will have family in town this weekend when he gets back (and it's wayyyy too early for him to meet them) but we will go out early next week to celebrate the end of my challenge :).

B: yogurt, granola. strawberries 350

L: ahi tuna 150 mashed potatoes 200 edamame radishes salad 150 - 500

S: banana 100

Subtotal 950

Bikram yoga 30 day challenge: day 24!   I am getting there! Woohoo! So excited this is going well!

No move on the scale in the past few days, but that's fine. I am sure it's a combo of normalcy (you're not supposed to lose weight everyday haha) with the fact I have been eating out all weekend! Back to eating at home today and hoping to lose another pound by the time my sister and family get here on wed night!

B: greek yogurt with tea spoon of honey 150

L: chicken 100 fake cheese 60 veggies 120 - 280

S: two cookies 180

Subtotal: 610

D: mashed potatoes 150 ahi tuna 200 salad 250 strawberries 40 - 640

 Okay I thought the 199.8 was a little crazy as you cant lose 2 lbs in a day! So I am at 202 now, which is totally fine and my goal is to get to 200 this week. :)

Bikram Yoga Chalenge day 23! Wow, getting there!

My date last night was just wonderful. The guy is perfect, I am looking for flaws but can't find any yet, other than a weird fingernail he has. Haha. He's attentive, tells it like it is, calls me exactly when he says he will call, smart, funny, sweet, hugs me and hold my hand in public, has his own company, good hair and we just get along perfect. He's traveling a lot for work though, so I don't know when I will see him next, probably not till next sunday or the week after. We will see.

Had a big brunch, nothing earlier and probably will just have a snack after yoga. I can't eat anything 3-4 hours before yoga because you have to practice with an empty belly. So that changes a little my snacks and dinner. 

B: brace yourselves: waffles with syrup and strawberries (half) 500 egg whites with crawfish biscuit potatoes and a little catchup 800 - 1300 (I actually have no idea how many calories, but this is a guess, may be less even).

I usually workout on an empty tummy for my AM classes..Nothing wrong with getting your main meal in at brunch, it sounds really yummy! It also sounds like you have a keeper on your hands :) He sounds like he knows what he wants and might i add he has really good taste if he is into YOU :) Have a good evening!

I couldn't believe the scale this morning. I weighted myself 3 times to be sure! Of course i am following a very healthy and low calorie and fat diet, but still, this is crazy and it has to be because of the yoga! I mean, I even had a big bagel and some fries yesterday. :)

And it's Friday. How much happier could I be!!!

B: oatmeal and blueberries and honey 210

S: banana and peanut butter 220

L: chicken, eggplant with tomato sauce, onions and chesse and veggies 300

Subtotal: 730

S: greek yogurt 100 honey 60 - 160

I shouldn't have had treats though as I've got many treats coming up - 2 days at friends, 10 days in Morocco. But I did enjoy the chocolate puddings with lots of chocolate chips! YUM!

YES! It's amazing how much volume we can eat when it''s vegetables. I am trying really really hard to keep a lot of good vegetables on hand and not go to those calorie dense carbs and treats! I haven't been able to exercise this week due to my sinus infection/cold hanging on, but I am not discouraged. I'll get back into it. GREAT going on the 21 days ! Only 9 more until you will have 30 days in a row! Awwesome!

2/3 of the way there!!! Yes!!!

Had a very challenging class last night as I picked the hottest corner of the room. Shouldn't have! But I pulled through and the teacher singled me out 4 times to compliment my postures!!! :)

Great class. Was super hot. Or maybe I was just more sensitive to it tonight. But I did okay, stopped less than usual (I think only once) and now I am 2/3 of the way there! Yay!
