That's a quote from Dad, he said that to the nutritionist we consulted with yesterday. Thought you'd enjoy it. haha.

This is a pic of me with my middle sister (I'm the baby) and Dad.

I have been thinking of smaller goals. I think for now my goal will be just to go down 10 lbs and go from there.

Maybe that will give me more drive, since it's reachable and faster.

I'll try.

Yeah the 10 lb thing is what I'm doing. Its working out. Granted I'm starting to think I should have an inches lost scale...since the scale itself isn't going down but the inches are 9.5inches lost in one month. Not bad. The scale really messes with my mind though.

Ive been doing so so, not good enough.

I have been eating all the healthy stuff i got at the farmer's market on sunday, but today i had a burger for lunch and even though i took off the bacon and the top of the bread, it was still fatty and i had some of the fries. I ate some kind of sweet also I was given in argentina and had here. Argh.

I'll have a healthy dinner and jump up and down for 2 hours at this show im going to see tonight!

Oh, last night I started the belly dancing class. it's good to be back at doing something. I'll see if I can go to another dance class once a week and a yoga class. that will make it 3 times and i am okay with that.

Last night I made the ceviche and it was delicious. we ate  that with a slice of warm bread. I highly recommend it.

Salmon and shrimp ceviche (the shrimp you have to boil quickly before marinating on the lime, onions and tomatoes, the salmon you just put in the marinate raw), with avocado, edamame and corn on the side. Delicious and healthy!

grumpy grumps! That meal looks REALLY good. It is my kind of healthy, tasty and delicious! My body is yearning for something like that right now, even after eating 5,000 if not more calories! oops.

anyways, it seems i haven't even realized until yesterday that you've been posting often and somehow i missed all your pictures on here.

i really like that pic of you on Sept 26. your hair got pretty long!!! i wish mine did that! I am so happy to see that you've been traveling and having a good time. I am glad that a fellow DDer is doing well! :)

for the boy, i'm gonna sit back for a bit, few days at least, see if he texts. i'm sure he will. I doubt he'll call. perhaps i'll mention it. maybe he'll step up to the plate. maybe it's too much for him. whatever the case, i can't let my heart get too intertwined right now as i've let it go to far already. he's been good to me lately, just not good enough.

Hey girls,

I'm making ceviche for the first time. You need to cook the fish on the lime juice overnight, so this will be dinner tomorrow.

It looks great so far, i'll let you know how it goes. But here's a good easy way to make it: http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/ceviche/

I am doing with salmon and shrimp though. and I didn't use the chili or tabasco or oregano. Just onion, salt, pepper, tomatoes and lime juice on the fish. Tomorrow I'll add cilantro and slices of avocado to eat. and maybe a little more salad, like a mix of corn and tomatoes or corn and soy beans. Yum! I'll even take pictures. I ate this dish in argentina and it was sooo amazing and healthy! No oil or fat other than the good fats of the fish and avocado!

Weekend was great, even though after 3 months not seeing him at all, I bumped into the old/bad J with his new girlfriend at a show. But i was with Johnny and it wasn't too hard. Argh. Exs...

Last night Johnny and I went to a wedding and it was really fun.

 Hey girls,

I've been super busy last week. Work in Argentina was really great and even though that have catering and treats all day long, i was able to come back with the same 179 as I left. I seem to be pretty stuck on that weight. I wanna change that in the weeks to come.

I am starting a belly dance class on tuesday. It goes all through the end of November, when we actually perform. Hahaha. I think it's funny, but I'm up for the challenge, Im sure it will help me to stick to it knowing i need to perform!

In argentina I had a ceviche, it was a plate of cubes of a few types of fish and shrimp and calamari all cooked on lime juice and lots of cilantro. its so awesome tasting and refreshing, for those of you who havent tried it, i suggest you look it up online, it's really easy to make and healthy, no oil, just the good fats of fish. They served it with a little chopped tomatoes and corn on the side, i am thinking of trying it with chopped avocado as well. johnny will be my guinea pig next week when i make it. we're talking about how to be healthier together.

 Arrived this morning in Buenos Aires. It's cold here, around 41. Brrr. Quite a change, it was warm in Atlanta. Atlanta has been hit hard by the rain. Let's hope it ends now and the families that had to evacuate get places to stay.

Busy day. Tomorrow it will be busier. at least 10 or 11 hour shoot day.

Ironic, isn't it, that Atlanta and that whole area has had such a long period of drought, and now they have this massive flooding. Feast of famine it seems.

My next door neighbor goes to Argentina every winter. He has family there.

Had a wonderful date with my bf last night, dinner and a movie. :)

Today I had meetings all day and went to dinner with a friend, probably eating out too much. I should go back to tuna and yogurt :)

 

- strawberries, coffee, half low fat muffin.

- chicken sandwich, a spoon of pasta salad

- 1/2 cookie, grapes

- burger (ugh).

T: 2500 maybe? not sure how bad that big burger was...
