1400 :) before a light dinner tonight :) meeting up with a male friend after work :) :) same one.

Around 1750-1800 and around at least a full hour of walking. Legs are unfortunately a little bit sore.

2050 cals. Another very tired day.

30 min walk at lunch and hardcore weights but I think I skipped some abs stuff and one upper body workout - too tired. But everything that I did do, I did well. Extra carbs before and after my workout.

btw, everything has been sorted out with transferring my old retirement system money to my new one! YAY! the money has been transferred!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Sleep was slightly disturbed waking up several times and having a banana at 2am. Anyways happy Monday. I may have to work late which is ok. At least I am prepared food-wise for most of this ENTIRE week! bought MORE Food tonight. I practically have too many veggies - they will last me thru the weekend!

Calories from 2am and wake-up at 6am around 150 - lemon water and banana.

1250 or so cals by end of workday.

worked late, which was a good thing diet-wise, but not stress-wise.

50 more calories in kombucha. and TONS of cooked brussel sprouts along with some other cooked veggies. not much sauce at all. maybe around 200 at most.

1500 cals, perfect. way to go.

I guess I can thank my boss for the FABULOUS calorie count.  Tomorrow I will kiss up to him a little, tell him I do not like eating dinner out or something...he asked me to have dinner with him. :( and of course I didn't want to - I don't even go to dinner with my friends during the week! and hardly even on the weekend lol...my best friend and I usually order in. only with groups lately do I go out to eat haha.

exercise: 30 min walk :) actually, more like 20 minutes, was lazy at lunch.

So far, it's been a very happy Sunday!  I woke up around 8 which is great :) I def got around 9-9.5 hours sleep! And that was the case yesterday too, probably more like 10 hours yesterday. I needed it, as I didn't sleep well at all during the week. For tonight I will also be catching up on some zzz's before a busy week. Need to buy more sleeping pills as they do work & I almost like to take them on weekends bc they are helping me feel better & get extra sleep when I can. sleep is important - especially for feeling good and for physical healing...

I didn't fast completely, but definitely consumed less because I am definitely motivated to lose some weight before summer (July 1). And also, my calories have been a bit overboard since last weekend at my parent's house Saturday night for the holiday.

8am Breakfast: banana, strawberries, and hot water with lemon. 200.

10am-12pmSnack: Kombucha 50...later ginger tea with stevia. 0. oh, and a small protein bar with almond milk 160

total so far 410 - pretty good.

1:15 GREAT lunch: 1 fried egg on a low cal wrap 200 with 1/2 avocado 160, tons of sautéed veggies (cabbage, collard greens & broccoli) in just water / salt 150 or so (hopefully not more...) and chips, forget to add them in...100 more.and debating something to drink 40...600..

total so far is going to be very good 1,010....doing great & i am planning to def keep today around 1500-1600. and tomorrow i will try for lower calories as well (can't do it everyday or it backfires on me and i binge).gonna be trying to help myself eat fewer calories at least a couple days each week to try and lose some weight before summer. so far, it's working (besides last weekend). i am doing good overall this spring.

banana...then a fiber bar: 270, veggies in a little vinegrette 300? ......570...

1580...not very well planned between gym and dinner..., will have a bar later & kombucha.

snacking: kombucha 40, small bar 130...170.

total: 1750, higher than I expected but good :) I am happy.

going to try for around 1500 calories on Monday. Exercise will be a 30 min walk at lunch.

Happy Saturday! Deciding to sleep in all morning on and off :) 8am: 660 cal. Healthy breakfast: banana, strawberries, oat bran made with water and coconut water, 2 tbsp peanut butter, 2% Greek yogurt.

11:30 early lunch: fried egg 100, half avocado 160, pink sea salt, wrap 60, leftover chicken and veggies in basil sauce 250, kombucha 40 total 610, good.

I've got minor errands to run, then relaxing. laundry probably tonight or this afternoon.

snacking at mall: 100 and an herbal tea from Teavana with one splenda in it (I don't like to add sugar to things...when there's an alternative...)

dinner: pint thai vegetable soup 100?, bag (5 servings) cole slaw 125, some of friend's sautéed veggies and insides of her spring rolls (lol that sounds bad!) 100 at most...and 2 small protein bars after she left 260...total: 600 at most, good.

2100. higher than expected, but in range.

exercise (wasn't planning on any, but ended up being walking at mall after a spontaneous decision for us to go!) around at least 1hr at mall...and actually, more like 2 hours at mall. nice.

I want to try & sleep in tomorrow....and to make it a LOW CAL day. I will be fasting / sleeping till noon. after that, I plan to have lunch & go to the gym for the afternoon. After that, i'll run to the supermarket & come home and do laundry. that's my plan :)

my low cal day, today, ended up a high cal day but not overdone completely. I decided to snack on chips, 2.5 servings, after an already large dinner. it's ok though - bc I ate primarily very healthy today.  I think I am allergic to Truvia, as it makes me break out in whiteheads I think. bc I was thinking about what I've done differently lately, and I've had more of that (after not having it for a long time). and the last time I broke out badly, it was a time when I was using a lot of it. so, I will not purchase it again & luckily I've used it up...

so calories are 2500. goal is to sleep in, a lot, and do an intermittent fast using only broth and water tomorrow up until a late lunch or early dinner I am hoping, actually. my friend is coming over for dinner, probably thai food, so I can order lots of vegetables and eat them with brown rice and some protein, probably leftover chicken I already have at home so I don't have to waste it.

exercise today was good. schools in Queens, NY,  have been out this week so most days traffic was REALLY light and my commute was practically cut in half! yes! 45 minutes cut to 30 or almost a little less. so, not half, but close to it :) so I tried to park farther since there were more spots around the school which had no classes this week. but yesterday, I was really running very late, so I used the work lot. However, today, I parked the farthest I've ever parked in a long time and the walk to work was around 10 minutes. so...20 minutes round trip. also 30 minute walk at lunch. so, close to an hour total. good :)

lately, I feel stronger. I feel my body starting to burn more calories bc I am walking more.

legs are still weak many times. I've been eating a lot more potassium. lots of bananas which seem to make me feel better. I also eat more carbs (rice especially with my meals since I get a lot of it when I order thai food which I order a lot lol!). and I am also eating much more fat, which seems to be very satisfying.

hoping for early to bed tonight & hoping to sleep around the 10 hour mark. I could use it, as I skimped on sleep as usual many days this week, it's really out of my control.

around 2150. mostly balanced. more carbs before & after gym. healthy fats. caffeine. 2 diet sodas (no caffeine, just to energize me before gym bc I got out of work at 6, not 5....and needed the boost.)

I still want to balance out the 3,000 or whatever it was calorie day on last weekend.

30 min walk & a hardcore weights, back & abs routine at the gym.

Life is been very busy, despite it being holiday time. It has definitely been far from holiday time for me at work.

And so, once again, I am faced with my desire to take the time & freedom I do have, and use it specifically to get in really good shape compared to where I am at now.  Specifically it's my goal to look good on the beach the summer - I still have a bit of time.

I should be able to lose 5 lbs or so by Memorial Day weekend.  All I need to do is very, very simple - deduct just a few calories on whatever weeks I choose.

I may try the intermittent fasting approach again. But only a 16 hour fast perhaps...that means skipping breakfast, but not making up for those calories later. Even when my days are 1500 calories, I tend to lose weight. So, it's up to me....and, well, I have already decided that I'm going to make it happen :)

I wanna weigh like 120. I don't see a need to really be below that #. or upper teens, but that is it.

I am short, so it's fine. I am 5'1".
