2050 total cal. Happy with this for sure. Exercise: my favorite total upper body.

 

Does anyone have any advice on how to overcome my problem with my legs?!

 

Been up since 3:30/4am....too busy this week....so I did the laundry that's been piling up since I did it last Friday morning and then skipped the rest that needed to be do in Sunday :) at least it's not on my mind anymore...

 

lil bit of a depressing day.  i had a training course (tomorrow too) at work all day.  but we got out at 4pm so afterwards we went back to work at our normal positions here.  It's a lot to learn (and i have an issue bc i lack some of the important background knowledge which would help me understand the program.  I don't have the knowledge because i never studdied engineering / electrical work before this job.

i am depressed, just a little bit, because i know i could have been OUT OF HERE if my legs were never an issue.  I would have gotten into the NYPD for July but the process is on hold, indefinitely, until they start to heal.  but by indefinite, really, i am looking to get in for this coming January.  I want it so bad, to be away from here, from the stress and all the change in an industry that i never really imagined ever starting / staying / being a part of.  I never wanted to learn this or have an ounce of passion.

all other industries i've worked on, at least i had some passion, even in the medical.  My legs need to heal.  but it's stressful just to think that way.  i may need the surgery indeed....i go for a follow up on the 14th next month but that's just too far away...

That's tough that you feel stuck in your current position and everything is on hold because of your legs. But your health needs to come first, however slow the process may be. Wishing you lots of positive energy for recovery, whatever route that happens to be!

1850 healthy cals for Tuesday. Busy day of course :)

Wednesday....

1350 before dinner which was lots of cooked teriyaki vegetables and very small sandwich. Around 450 at most.

1700 to 1800 total. Good. Exercise was physical therapy for legs. No other exercise.

Both today and yesterday, legs still bother me. Left more than rt. rt hardly. But I feel a burn even when I am sitting.

Good morning Ladies & Gents,

Breakfast: small whole banana 100, low sodium turkey on wrap 250 = 350, great.

snacks: tea / bar / couple candies

after not having it for maybe more like 5 weeks, it's that TOM. not too bad actually. no cramps today thankfully.

(RT LEG ALWAYS FEELS BETTER THAN LEFT. LEFT LEG IS BURNING EVEN WHILE I SIT.  IT'S JUST A DULL ACHING BURN, BUT IT'S DEFINITELY THERE & HAS BEEN THERE EVERYDAY.) I WONDER HOW I WILL FEEL A MONTH FROM NOW - WHEN I HAVE THE DR FOLLOW-UP APPT IN THE CITY.

Lunch 400

Snack almonds 100....later a decaf coffee 100 at most

1200...

1700 total. Legs at physical therapy :)

Good morning. Woke up with some shin pain already. Breakfast: lox on a wrap 250, wrap with small banana 200, yogurt 100. 550 good.

1050 cal till 2pm.

1900 or so cal by 4pm.  (big meal 850 cal but healthy) 

little binging.

2500 cal.

Around 2600 - 2700.  oh well tomorrow's a brand new day...

FULL WEIGHTS EXERCISE ROUTINE WAS FANTASTIC AT LEAST (ENTIRE UPPER BODY WORKOUT AT GYM IN THE MORNING!)

Woke up at 6 to have some coconut water and regular water and a shower. Hopefully back to bed for a little bit since I have to take a taxi to get my car if I want to drive anywhere. My car is only five minutes with lights and everything driving and if my legs were better I would walk to it, like 1 mile. I should probably just go back to bed since I slept about 6 hours which has been the most I have had on any good day of the week this week. I had a good time with this man at the bar bc he has a great personality and is very easy to have a good time with. We always joke around and get along great.

Honestly, more than anything, it was great to go out on a Friday and have a lot of laughs and live it up a bit instead if my usual coming home and eating and bed and just the usual stuff.

The only bad part is actually pretty bad u would agree.....when the elevator opened to my floor my neighbor was in the hall chatting with another man. My neighbor is high up in the field I work in and knows my boss, my dad, And the guy I was with last night. He saw us but we took a detour and actually stayed in the elevator bc I didn't want a confrontation with my neighbor. I ended up going back to my apt first and still my neighbor was in the hallway. And I waited till the coast was clear until texting my friend to come to my apt. 

I doubt my neighbor will say a word, but still!  I work & live in a very large business (many people I live near also work in the same environment as me) - everyone knows everyone. So, hopefully this won't get around. I don't think it will but it's just crazy that I could ruin things for my dad if anything. But like I said, it shouldn't be getting around. All the men that know each other that I spoke about here are in the mid fifties to mid sixties. Including my neighbor.

today's exercise: abs at the gym :-D  I am beginning to really love abs only days on the weekends!  One day I will be able to add cardio in, too!

Lunch: cereals and almond milk: 250

(legs hurt last night after physical therapy and walking around just a few blocks to & from bar...) this morning I iced them and they still hurt.

Noon Snack: yogurt 120

 

Dinner: vegetable Thai soup 50, brown sticky rice 100?, garlic vegetable dish 200, steamed calamari 150, some of an appetizer 50. 600 at most.

Grand total = 2050 excellent. Planning to go to bed early tonight :)

Good Morning :-D

To be honest, I feel pretty today.  I was up at 3am, couldn't sleep, and had time to do my hair (and blow every circuit breaker in my apartment - so glad someone was around at 6am to fix that so i could finish my hair before work! haha)

but, i haven't slept well this week any night & i am having an off day.  Tired and kinda into myself...TGIF everyone!

So I did great food wise so far with 1250 calories and will be eating something light for dinner followed by the bar where I am meeting up with a....man....from work. I can't say guy bc he is....older?? It's a bit nuts but we all do crazy things at times u know? I have know. Him 3 years and it doesn't change a thing. He's in his mid fifties. I am in my low 30s. At least we are truly both single. Not looking for anything serious either one of us. Just fun and laughs.

Between 2000-2200 total cal. Perfect. 2 very weak drinks, 1.5 stronger drinks, 2 shots Malibu rum. few fries and on larger sized white chicken finger.

Around 1900 excellent. Did abs at lunch and upper body after work. Even though I was sedentary at work, I am pretty sure my evening workout puts me around at least 2200 burned cals today. Yay.

TGIF tomorrow. Worked till 6:30. Legs didn't hurt as bad as Tuesday but they did hurt today. They burned a little on the sides but also are bothering me more near the front tonight. I hope this month goes quickly so I can see for sure if I am better or not by my appt follow up on April 14th bc if I do need surgery I want it as soon as humanly possible bc I am having trouble being patient with my legs it's been a very long time 13 months.

All my binging days, 3, from my week off were balanced out. I should remember this and how I had to focus and think about it all week. It took me Monday thru Thursday to balance out my calorie avg to around 2200-2300 per day instead of what they really were: 2500, 2700, 3200.

What kinds of things are you doing in physio? So far i've only done some recumbant bike, stretches, and the myofascial release. I would be really interested to know :)

I do a few stretches (wall incline I think it's called), a quad stretch, and a stretch (that doesn't work very well) for the muscle in the front of the lower leg (nothing really works well to stretch it bc it is generally very hard to get a stretch there). then, I do leg strengthening exercises: calf raises, seated leg press and then also I do it again just as a toe press, balancing on a wobble board & squats, stretches for inner & outer ankle using a stretch band, and elliptical for 5 minutes. With the heat at the beginning and stimulation/ice at the end & also waiting for the therapist to massage me right before the ice, it takes around 1.5-2hrs each visit.

I am glad to have the opportunity to go to a great office with excellent physical therapists, but doing these stretches & exercises ALWAYS makes more sore? or just in pain? the next day. I am not sure which it is or if it's both.

Legs felt way better than yesterday with hardly any pain :)

Around 1900 cal and def not more. Good! Had a bigger dinner but mostly sautéed veggies. Around 600-650 cal and was very tasty. Also some chips, and a small lox sandwich.

Almost balanced out the 2700 cal day. Nice. Tomorrow is start over time :)

Please disregard but I am taking notes on my legs for the doctor - burning sensation particularly in left leg throughout the entire day. Physical therapy last night could be why. I iced my legs tonight.

Total cal around 1950 success

I balanced out the 2500 cal day :)

Good job :) I answered your question in my comments if you want to check it out. Taking notes is a great idea - I do that with my physiotherapist so she has an idea of how things are progressing.

Legs felt the tiniest bit better today :) time to be more positive.

1350 cal thank god. And even full before bed. Ate little portions throughout day and was busy getting home at 8pm.

Today balanced out my 3200 day binge. I'd like to also balance out the 2700 cal day and the 2500 cal day from last week. Will do my best. Sometimes it's good to be busy :)
