at the moment, i'm weighing around 131. of course i will not be changing 130 back to 131....but i have still a bit of a way to go to get to 129 without DRASTIC measures. I am totally not inclined to do anything drastic right now!

breakfast: weird again. seaweed snack 60, soy chips140, milk 150 (and a snack earlier during a 15 min walk - 50 cal) total: 400 GOOD.

update: haha, finally had a loadfull of veggies for dinner. so good. and shrimp. from a good chinese restaurant. ate the entire takeout quart. so good! so hungry.

calories: around 2300?

exercise: 45 min cardio, but just cardio throughout the day. no gym.

there are some days and my body craves that darn massage so badly!! but i can't unless i weigh my required 129.  the massage is a GIFT for my success and not lack of. i won't cave, but darn, i really want it!  I've scheduled it for the 14th....i should definitely be 129 by then!? gonna try harder..

long successful day, girlies!

calories around 2200-2500.  very fine. i don't feel i'm losing weight, but i don't really feel i'm gaining. i do feel good lately.

exercise: 1 hr and 45 min weights. cardio throughout the day (some in AM some in PM), around 45 min total worth of cardio.

Progress as of today: 5 lbs lost so far, only 1 lbs to go!

yipee most important that you feel good. your exercise always sounds so awesome these days. are you still doing hot or regular yoga? i remember the days when you went often. i also remember a beautiful photo of you in dancer pose, i think that you posted one day! miss you.

exercise: around 3.5 mi.

i now walk 10 min back and 10 min forth to work everyday from where I park my car ... 20 min is like a mile...so that's good. after that, i walked around 3 mi more at the park. it's good to get in a little exercise earlier in the day so i don't have so much to do later...and i can get home at a more decent time!

calories are still high: 2250-2300. right now, i can't seem to eat less. i'm up many hours and i get really hungry. thing is, i'm not gaining weight, so it's ok. i think i may still be losing weight. my black jeans were looser today when i got home, i noticed this in the leg area, of all places! nice.

i really can't concentrate on keeping calories low right now, i'm just trying hard to keep them in this range. and it's working - which is why i haven't really changed my plan thus far!

i was feeling bloated Mon/tues. and i still do, but my weight is still in the 131-132 area. nice.

I think you're doing great, and if those amounts of calories are working for you, why change it up? Maybe your metabolism is much higher than most; maybe you're constantly moving and burning calories during the day. Who cares? Whatever it is, it's working, rigth? I didn't spell "right" correctly, but whatevs. I'm too lazy to fix it.

I MUST work harder on keeping calories down if I want to lose more weight!  But, there hasn't been binging and calories are still relatively normal...and that is wonderful.

i think 2300...a bit much, but it's ok, i planned a little poorly.

exercise: 3.5 miles.

ohhh, man it's 3am and i can't sleep!  I am so restless, thinking about the week ahead.

1750 calories today.

no extra cardio other than normal daily activity.

1hr and 20 min of weights, back, abs, pushups, and being awesome.

7 music lessons taught.

bed early so i can survive these next 13 days...i'm working 13 days straight with an extra day of volunteering next saturday from 9-4.

I am sorry that you have insomnia, I know it is awful and frustrating. Maybe you can get some herbal sleepy tablets to help you through the next couple of weeks. You are going to need to sleep when you can. Hugs:)

breakfast: grapefruit 80, yogurt 160, oatmeal 160, slice of tasty bread 80: 480. good. late breakfast, very hungry from last night having two granola bars and decaf coffee for dinner/after my workout!

4.5 mi walk.

2450 calories. a bit high, a bit overindulged, but i am not regretting anything! :-)  good exercise!

If i have any advice at all, LIFTING WEIGHTS would be it!  I truly believe that the reason I can eat so many calories and still be able to lose/maintain weight is for the reason that I lift weights. My cardio has been so-so - I haven't been able to do it for as LONG as I want to.  Cardio for me is the elliptical or walking. A good walk for me is over 3 miles, 4 is best.  Any more than four is icing on the cake...haha, a good analogy, of course!

Lifting weights has caused my body to burn calories at a better and faster rate and my muscle burns more calories than fat. I am so happy that I love to lift weights and I'll never stop.  I have been eating upwards of approximately 2000-2300 calories per day and i'm still in weightloss mode....slow, but it's going down.  That is GREAT.

From my past experiences, and i do have plenty, I know I am losing weight in a good way when i cannot tell i'm getting thinner. The pace is slow, not rapid, so i don't feel it right away. Results are not instant, but they will be lasting.  This is compared to a rapid weightloss where the weight lost is such an instant shock to the body, i've always wanted to binge and the weight comes back sooner. I am happy.

 I've lost about 5 pounds since beginning this job I think.  5 lbs since around the last week of January 2011. that's good. that's success. It is true that it doens't matter how fast you lose the weight, it's not a race, ladies.

 The above paragraph being said, it's also true that i'd love to be a rock solid muscle machine and weigh 115. But, there is a means to an end. A PROCESS.  you cannot just skip doing the challenge, the hard work, to weightloss and be thin.  even with lyposuction and all those weightloss tools out there - you will still be challenged to maintain your low weight or continue to lose weight.

In my life, maintenance was always the hardest part. But now I understand it better, far better, I will still need to learn more how to maintain when I get to a weight that I am comfortable with.

When I do reach 129, the new goal will be 127. I will get another massage at 127. But first, I need to reach 129 :-)  So excited.  It may not seem like a lot of pounds, just a couple in fact, but it's weightloss. And it could take a whole month! haha, hopefully not?

I agree with you but somehow, I always gravitate to cardio.... it's a mind-thing, I know,and completely backwards, but I'm still that girl who chooses cardio first. Thanks for the reminder about weights!

saturday morning entry: 

130 pounds! so close to my goal! yeah!

friday night entry:

gym was cut short. didn't finish weights. ran into hot guy from gym at 7-11 and we were chatting. i want him.!?

calories were great. 2150-2200 or so. perfecto.

day was busy.

worked till 4:30, drove to teach music lessons and got there less than 5 minutes early at 6pm...lots of traffic. taught till 8:30, got to the gym a little after 9. exercised till 10. came home by 10:40 after stopping along the way for coffee and granola bars.

Progress as of today: 5 lbs lost so far, only 1 lbs to go!

Thursday entry:

calories are between 2250-2300.

no exercise because i didn't have time today. I worked and taught 3 music lessons (but after tonight there will be NO music lessons and I will have another free night for the gym, thankfully!) I'm gonna miss teaching these students, but i need to also put some care into treating myself right, too.  and sitting all day, plus sitting teaching lessons, is too much if i can't get any exercise in too.

so strange. it's that time of the month, i've been eating a lot, and i'm still staying thinner!  amazing. 

I AM sticking to my weights, back, abs, and pushups. not as much cardio, but i do what i can.

tonight i did at least 6 sets up pushups. 20-30 per set. mostly in the 20's. i was weak tonight.

cardio was only about 15 min.

weights were for 1.5 hours.

calories: 2050.
