4:30am can't sleep at all and hungry...early breakfast: 2 yogurts 280 (one reg blueberry and one greek)

late breakfast: fruit100, pretzels 80, bread w tofu 220 = 400

snacking, veggies 50, salami 40,ice cream 900

popcorn 450, ice cream 250: 700.

1250 more in pb and j sandwich, ice cream, milk.

coolatta and 3 donuts: 900 more...

turkey roasted and large peach 350

4870...propel and diet soda. 4900...

and tofu, 80.

so, around 5,000 total for today.

exercise: LOTS of WEIGHTS.

OK, today is not a good day. Don't beat yourself up HOP, you had five (at least) good day's in a row. Just pick yourself up in the morning, make a plan and start again. Remember that you haven't failed until you stop trying. It is the striving to be better that counts. Much love to you.

HOP I thought about you alot while I was away, I made sure to read your entries although sometimes not having the chance to reply or respond. You have been doing great lately and may I ask if it is at all possible to pick one "binge" item to keep in the house and the rest don't bring inside your house? I know it is still easy to go out to get them if you still wanted to but I think it would still help...I personally think that 138 lbs is healthy and you really are a healthy eater but until you clear your house of temptations you are sabotaging all of your hard work and efforts. We all want you to succeed my friend :)

Good Morning Gals! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying weather like I have, on the East Coast. So beautiful and not a cloud in the sky all weekend. A major change from last weekends full washout!

Breakfast: bran and almond milk 120, fruit 100, plain 2% Greek yogurt 130: 350, very filling I must add!!

Snack: tofu on thick slice of bread: 250

Snack: Medium iced coffee w. skim milk and 2 equal 100

Lunch: egg on biscuit w. bran added in 320 or turkey sausage eggwhite flatbread.

Dinner: 2 servings tofu on 2 slices whole grain bread, red pepper 480

Snack: greek yogurt w. chocolate mix added in, so good! 180, oatmeal flakes on top 40, big apple 140: 360.

total: 1860 = good day.

My legs feel like jello as of late. Lots of exercise, but not overboard by any means...but apparently too much for me...bc i can't seem to get back to feeling strong in my lower body. anyway, off for a morning walk at the park!

also exercise by a nice walk at the beach...followed up by a walk at the park soon.

Yes, I am on the eat coast and there wasn't a cloud in the sky her either!!!! LOL Must be a coincidence - there must be a point in time during your Autumn and my Spring when everyone is happy with the weather!! Enjoy it why you can and be careful not to overdo the walking, we want you in one piece.

I just buy a can of chickpeas (400g - so that's 1 pound),1 grated carrot, 2/3 cup wholegrain breadcrumbs with herbs, 2 eggs, beaten, pinch of chilli powder, salt and pepper. Mash chickpeas and combine with everything else and form into round patties (like hamburgers only thicker). I fry them in a little olive oil.

I haven't binged since Monday. Feeling good about that and I am trying really hard right now. Even if my totals are over 2200, it's better than when I binge and REALLY, REALLY overeat. So, this is progress. A little at a time. I know that the weight will start to drop if I continue to make this progress. :-)

Today is almost the end of August. I hope to make real progress by the end of September. In a month, perhaps 8-10 lbs tops would be good. But, I will be happy with any progress, really. So, I will try not to rush things. I will not restrict at all. Just try to prevent any binging.

Good Morning. I woke up close to 9am, nice and late :-) I indulged in a big breakfast.  Gonna go for a little bike ride to the bank, then shower, go visit my grandma for some of the morning and lunch, then go to the gym in the evening. It will be a great day! Tomorrow I'll be going with my friend to the beach.

Breakfast: grapes 100, greek 2% yogurt 130, oatmeal 150, almond milk 40, blue chips 150, cocoa powder mix that i added to the oatmeal 50: 620, good!

snack: plums: 180

lunch: egg sandwich w. bran...

1700...

dinner: microwave meal 350, pretzels 160, salad 50, red pepper 40, green beans and almonds 160: 760...alright, a bit over. but still, NOT a binge :-)

2460, good.

exercise: some walking, some biking, over an hour of weights, back, pushups, abs. a great day.

Good Morning. total exercise today was 5.5 miles. did 3 more in the early evening.

Breakfast: blueberries 100, yogurt 130, peanut butter 260, oatmeal 40, plums 90: 620

snacks: small bit of ice cream 300, bran crackers 50, coffee 110 = 460

late 2pmlunch: 4 pretzel rods 160, grilled tasty tofu 180, green beans and almonds 160, large tomato 60, small salad 40. 600 and healthy ones, too.

snack: zone bar 220

dinner: corn soufflee microwave meal was ok but won't buy again 380, almond milk 70, tomato and grapes 100: 550, approx.

total today: 2450...a bit high. but no real crazy binge at all! so i'm VERY happy with this total!

update: overall, the interview was a generally good experience although i didn't get the job as they decided the same day who they were giving this position to because school is starting in about a week!  after three years of not interviewing, at least i got back into it today.

i have a music interview today that i learned of yesterday. It is my first music interview in 3 years and I'm sorta rusty. But the reason I'm taking it is that I need to get back into the interview process and this is how, even if the job isn't the best fit i feel i should go anyway bc i haven't needed to interview for anything in, like i said, 3 years.

breakfast: yogurt 130, peanut butter 160, bread 80, bran 20, blueberries 100: 490.

snack: plums 70

lunch: sardines on toast and a glass of milk. 540. felt good eating this healthy sandwich.

snacks: bars and coffee: 550

late dinner: dunkin donuts: 320

total: 1970. very good.

exercise: hour of weights at the gym.

Exactly - that's why I go to interviews! The more I assist, the less I get anxious. Once I forgot to speak the language... it was rather embarrassing. LOL... now I go to interviews with more confidence and it's very important to me. Actually, I went to one yesterday, I wrote about it in today's entry. :D

Breakfast: oatmeal 150, almond milk 60, chocolate powder 50, sprinkling of flax 20, banana 120, yogurt 130: 530, good. filling, lots of fiber :-)

snack:sandwich, drink: 420

lunch: beans and almonds 160, tofu 100, salad 60, cucumber 10, jolly ranchers 120 total here: 410

EARLY dinner, since it was so much food, might just call it dinner: roll w. cheese and bran: 250, blueberries 40, overload of plums: 180 or so, peanut butter on bran 450: 920

tsf: 1160 + 920 = 2080, ok...

late snack:230 protein bar.

total: 2310...candies, total today is 2400.2400 is a good day for me.

I was thinking about you a lot yesterday, hoping the new med are good for you - waiting for the two weeks for them to have an effect. I remember vividly all the different meds I had to try before I got the right combination for me. You hang in there and do your best, life can be an inspiring wonderful and exciting experience. It is all ahead of you.

Today was a good day. Thank you ALL for rooting for me.  It certainly helps me out.  I'm glad you all have faith in me despite my relapses into binging as of late! :-)

Good Morning.

I have plans today, which should put me into a good schedule and help me not to binge.

breakfast was healthy, little large, but good: oatmeal w. almond milk, blueberries, package of sugar free chocolate powder mix, and a yogurt: around 500 but good protein from the greek yogurt, serving of fruit, and fiber in the cereal.

early lunch: bran 120, almond milk 50, tofu 100, 2 slices chedder cheese 250? total here: 520, jolly rancher 20.

Snacks throughout afternoon/teaching: 560

STARVING after gym: egg and cheese sandwich, w. some bran crackers added in so there's fiber :-)  350.

total today: 1950....good!

I was at the gym doing weights for TWO hours!!!  and now i can hardly move a muscle! it was sooo good.

cardio, not much. just a little bike for like 20 minutes of the two hours i was at the gym.

OK, HOP, I am going to hold you to that. Tomorrow is the start of a new beginning. It is all up to you. Not withstanding any particular difficulties you have in your life. You can control what you put in your mouth. I know from experience that when I have my eating under control all the other problems I have seem to be manageable. I am sure you will find this to be true for yourself as well. So do we have a deal, we will both have a good week, eating only those things we have planned for and no diverging into unwanted territory?

When you say many many chips exactly how many is that and what kind of chips? i love how you keep it real with your journal :) the up side of this is that you manage to stay at 137 :) i will never give up on you!

gym for an hour of elliptical with a couple breaks.

breakfast was all before, during, and after the workout: croissant w. egg white, bran, and med iced decaf: 460. good.

snack: plum: 50

tsf: 510

late small lunch: protein bar(s)

dinner: cheesecake factory with my friend who i'll be visiting today sorta upstate, but not really so far up! lol.

total cal will be reasonable, for sure.

calories probably around 2200. good day. and sleeping over my friends house instead of driving back in the rain tonight!
