wow! i forgot to write on sunday!

now it's monday morning. i'm up early to do something i love, yoga. 2 classes. a 30 min break. it's hot yoga. hopefully i will just do my best. 7:30-11AM!

calories: i'm not gonna add it all up now, but i'll estimate sunday was around 1900.

exercise: hot yoga am, abs and one hour cardio pm. great day.

Progress as of today: 0 lbs lost so far, only 10 lbs to go!

breakfast: cinnamon oatmeal and chobani pomegranate yogurt (so good!!!) and some light white tea...320 total.

snack: prob a bar and monster drink....(perhaps i should brush my teeth at the gym after drinking this stuff!) teeth are not as white as they used to be!

lunch:stuff....

1450 tsf

snack:   ?fruit 100

dinner:  350

relaxing tonight....bed early probably. yoga in the early morning.

total 1900

exercise: 50 min cardio, weights, abs.

exercise: morning yoga, afternoon walk. beautiful.

breakfast 350

snack/yoga drink: 50

lunch: jello, microwave meal, yogurt: 610

snack: celery 60.

dinner: healthy, but 700.

total: around 1770-1800. good.

total: 1550 or so. wow. good good. 30 min cardio, and abs/weights. wahoo.

tomorrow is YOGA! first time in 2 years.

dinner: large. crackers 250, tofu 200, noodle dish 250: 700

total is  around 1800.pretty good.

exercise: cardio at gym: around 45 minutes. and stretching and abs/back. nice day overall.

grand total is about 2220. good.  gym was 35 min difficult cardio and weights.

tasty, filling sandwich, two clementines:

70, 160 for bread, 200 pb, 150 butter: 580 good....round up to 600

snack: bar 150

lunch: dunkin donuts flatbread... 500?

snack: bar 150

1400...some sf jello and a NAP.60

oatmeal, chocolate 360

tsf: 1820...

4am: clementine, tea jello:

1040 until afternoon...

popcorn 250, microwave meal 250, veggies 150, darn tasty cornbread not sure, maybe 700, butter 70, bread 80, chocolate 600. eww? cottage cheese 150. chips...250...and some hefty cereal w. milk 700.

total: 4500-5000 who knows.

no exercise.

need to get sleep. didn't need to eat. dumb.

2MMRW'S A NEW DAY. YOU'LL DO JUST FINE. Some days we have a little more stress in our lives than other days. your weight could be alot worse, but I admire you for taking care of it NOW, b4 it gets out of control- I wish I had done that years ago. you are a wise one. take care.

edit: 2200 with late night snacking bc i was up studying. good.

gym: one hour on elliptical. high intensity. great.

cereal and milk, jello: 350.

snack: yogurt w. homemade cranberry preserves that i made and jello: 170

lunch: popcorn 250, eggplant rollettes350...lots of fiber!!! :-) total: 600 good.

tsf: 1120 great...

snack: low carb monster drink 20.

1150 or so...

dinner:yogurt and microwave meal? something MUCH more tasty...fries 350, dunkin donuts flatbread 300, and tofu 200. total here: 850. good after such a workout i had!

total cal: a totally good 2000. fabulous. :-)

 

present goals: an average of a lb per week loss would be good. i'm going to make a bigger effort to keep calories in the 1500-2000 range. and continue with the weights and gym. i have recently noticed that the muscles in my arms are becoming slightly more visible and the fat slightly less! :-) happy the work is going to pay off...

my "staycation" plans:

wed: possible late night yoga

thurs: gym as usual w. weights.

fri: probably sleeping late. probably going out? not sure.

sat: visit grandma, yoga in morning?

sun: teach, weights, cardio.

mon: yoga! and cardio

tues: gym and weights

wed: yoga and cardio

thurs: gym and weights

fri: yoga and cardio

sat: gym and weights

sun: cardio only :-)

that is my "ideal" schedule. i may not be able to fit in everything (especially the yoga) on all those days. but this is my goal!  :-)

i also plan on getting together with all the people i haven't seen. and going on a date with my guy who is coming home for the holidays...and hoping that all will go well, as per usual...and that we don't drift apart....

Yoga is even better than weights to firm up the flab and at the same time, so enjoyable.

I'll take realism over dreams anyday. One pound a week is a worthy goal, though much more difficult to attain than it seems. I've been able to shed half pound a week over the past 6.5 months. With Thanksgiving and two visits with my son in Orlando where I backtracked, and lost valuable time getting back on track, at least I've continued to lose though not at the rate I'd like.

Don't be discouraged by lapses. We all get them. Just write it off and get back on your program.

Doesn't it feel great when you can start to see your persistence paying off? I am working with weights too and am looking forward to the day I can start to see more definition too!! Keep it up!

snack: 150 fiber one bar

snack: 300 fries

late lunch: 320 in 2 whole wheat wraps, micowave meal and yogurt 400, cookies 520: 1240.

total so far: 2040....i plan to eat around 2500 today. it's ok to go a little over...

dinner: early dinner. 660

total: 2700. good.

fruit: 2850

and sandwich: 500

3350...and probably chocolate. i'm totally fine with this total.

gym: 25 min cardio, and weights, abs, pushups.
