lol. so dinner wasn't healthy really. not the greatest. it was a mexican salad with nachos and cheese on the bottom. some grilled shrimp (which were HORRIBLE!) and some great guacamole and salsa, black beens. overall it had it's healthy elements but it was high calorie. i have no idea how much but i can only guesstimate. i chose it over a boring salad and now i will not binge tonight! so all is good actually.

total calories today: around 2000. :) happy about this because i did not binge.

woke up a bit too early i think. it was before 7am. but i feel alright. pretty rested.

breakfast: bran cracker, pb, some green drink, almond milk, tea. 200.

yoga. green packet in my water during yoga. 25

lunch: way overboard but generally healthy. i took a lot of food so that I WOULDN'T go back for more!  steamed vegetables 80, two morningstar veggie burgers220, 1/2 pack tofu175, 1/2 cup cranberries30. everything mixed together. kombucha60. total: around 575

movie before dinner

total cal before dinner: 800. pretty good. calories will remain in a healthy range today.

dinner out. something tasty but different.

breakfast: apple, green drink 170

lunch: kashi bar, tea, flavored water: 250

snack: lettuce, vegetable soup, tofu: ...bran/almond milk...410

total so far: 830 ok.

dinner: out for mom's bday.  something healthy though.

dinner was good, but large portion. not too large not unhealthy. large piece of salmon w. some kind of brushetta tasting sauce, with tons of steamed vegetables and a small bite of apple pie. sheesh. i'm not sure on calories.  my guess is around 900.

total calories today: 1730. i'm totally happy with this. 30 minutes at gym on elliptical.

tomorrow i will go to yoga in the am. followed by a movie and dinner later in the day. going out to eat and hopefully very healthy again. i would love some fish or a lean meat as i don't eat that during the week (i don't cook fish/meat for myself) so i end up eating lots of tofu and other less protein rich foods. lol, so when i go out, i try to order things i don't eat at home! :)

i will try to continue my good eating pattern and stick with this yoga, although today i couldn't make it!

I have to restrain myself 90% of the time, as I have a short fuse.....I think that is why I am tired most of the time is from having to make myself be patient.... Zapp-o's me!

today was a bit nutty - in an overall good way.

i woke up early with less appetite than usual.

breakfast: green drink. w. protein, apple: 170

lunch: kashi bar, tea w. milk: 200

snack: large popcorn and tea: 250

dinner: salad: WHOLE avocado, lettuce, whole tomato, whole big red pepper, 1/4 block tofu. 500 approx. :)  LOL. and kombucha. 560 very filling but healthy. i really wanted the healthy fats from the avocado as i haven't been eating enough of them.

total cal: 1180.  and yoga :) 

today was a trying day. i don't even have the energy to discuss it right now.

 

someone at school/work was really sad and i felt horrible for her. she just got divorced (abusive husband) in july and her mom/grandparents are deceased. she has a young daughter and for the holidays she has little people to be with. she has to let her daughter go to her ex on christmas morning. i feel really bad for her because she IS a VERY VERY kind hearted person who doesn't deserve such harshness of life.

i also was upset over something of little importance. I didn't have enough cash to buy my lunch. the hospital doesn't accept credit or debit which i think is INSANE. so, the woman told me i couldn't pay her back tomorrow. so, i had to return most of my lunch being left only with tea. so i settled down in the lobby of the hospital and then walked to a deli for the remainder of my lunch. i was hoping to study but instead i was frolicking from place to place in the rain. lol. no biggie but i think i will have to watch my cash better now or i'll be left lunchless unless i go where debit is accepted! lol.

what else? i'm doing pretty well and my confidence is high right now. my mom'd bday is tomorrow.  i got her a glass dish and potpourri for her bathroom. hopefully she'll like it.  she can be picky with scents but she can ALWAYS return it.

my breakfast was a chicken biscuit and a piece of a donut. naughty. but i got to the studio and they have tones there. argh. anyway, better days to come. i am certainly having a hard time right now.

yay i figured it out! i have a new entry! :)

wednesday: not sure how to make a totally new entry on this new DD system!!! lol. i'll have to figure it out later so i'll just post on this older entry.

breakfast: peanut spread, yogurt, bran, some green drink: 400

snack: apple 80

lunch: kashi bar, tea: 230

snack: another different kashi bar, some kombucha: 320 :)

dinner: prob lots and lots of veggies, tofu. kombucha. gum. 400

total: 1430 wow. awesomeness. such a great feeling. to go to yoga, come home, shower, relax for a bit. study for a little. yes.

yoga...and loving it once i finish! :)

tuesday: breakfast: 400 lunch: 300 snack: 300 dinner: 400 total: 1400 GREAT! yoga :)

i feel a wisdom tooth possibly coming in! uh oh! i can't afford surgery to remove it now!

 

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ breakfast: weird. two morningstar veggie burgers, yogurt on them, green drink 380 snack: apple 70 lunch: soy chips, tea 200 snack: shot wheatgrass, green drink, protein bar: 360 it was hard looking at myself in the mirror during yoga. yuck yuck yuck. but if i continue to go and care more about my health, everything will improve. today is one step in the right direction and tomorrow can be another. dinner plans: soup, spaghetti squash, celery, tofu (all a bit much but alright)375...followed by, i had a craving, a type of protein/natural food bar. 230 had to do it. total: 605 alright. not the best, not the worst. pretty healthy. total today: 2120 it's ok...binged on 2 more protein bars. tomorrow: a lighter breakfast than today's which was actually kinda GROSS. probably a green drink and something or another. tomorrow's plan breakfast: 2 eggs on 4 bran crackers 210, green drink 100. 310 snack: maybe an apple. water. busy day meeting some new people at school. lunch: SOY chips with tea. 200 snack: green drink and bar? 350? YOGA! dinner: better than today. please! tofu on veggies (primarily red pepper) w. warmed cranberries.

JUST a suggestion: i am not sure how you make it through lunch with just the soy chips! maybe adding some protein calories to the lunch will fill you up more so you dont have the urge to binge @ dinner...used to work for me. xoxo

i agree on your comment, i didnt mean stop having fun, i should be having fun, but what i am currently doing that i need to stop is eat unhealthy for fun and skipping working out to do something fun... that's not good. I will come around, come on me! haha. xoxo

did a little cleaning laundry and picked up newspapers from the store along with a few tasty varieties of squash.

breakfast: tea, greek yogurt 1/2 cup, pb, 3 bran crackers: 310.

2mi walk.

lunch: not what i had planned. too overboard but didn't totally go on a carb binge. and that's good bc i will have an easier time come dinner and tomorrow and days ahead. 1360 calories for lunch.

dinner: with grandma. baked trout with a little bread (very tasty) topping, sauteed veggies (including eggplant - wow), soup, salad, fruit good dinner, definitely in line with any 5 star restaurant. 650 or so.

total today: 2320. eeh. yucko.

better tomorrow for sure... tomorrow: will be more careful with my eating so as not to binge again. breakfast will include a green drink. snack will be an apple. lunch will be soy chips/tea w. milk. snack on an apple/drink and dinner will be salad w. veggie burger and some yogurt.

i may go out for a short walk tonight. or maybe just go on the treadmill. i did 2 mi earlier. my ankle is not doing so well.

i jumped on the scale, in clothing, and to my dismay it was above 135. this is scary a bit, since this is the highest i've weighed in my life. lately, although there have been some binges this week, they were more or less in moderation. the good thing is this weekend i ranged between 2100-2300 approximately. still to much but not like a 3,000 or 5,000 calorie day that i easily can do. the yoga is probably helping me also.

a goal of mine is to go to yoga 4x a week (just over half). I will try to go on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays. Maybe more some weeks. The other days i would focus on cardio - even just for a half hour. so, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays would be cardio. as for weights, i'm letting that slip for now.

i actually ended the day with 2200. i give myself many props for sticking with my goal and not going over. On Sunday my goal is to keep calories low around 1500 and go to the gym.

ehhh. a bit much for breakfast but i can still turn this day into a fine one.

breakfast: green drink, TWO (could have just had one) turkey burgers, 1/4 cup pb: 800.

snack: 650 apple, burger, lots of dried fruit

snacking: fiber drink, tons of pb on crackers, red pepper: 700

total so far: 2150.

plan for food: lots of liquids preferably healthy drinks/shakes. Same tomorrow. followed by dinner with grandma which is something i haven't done...

definitely yoga, 5pm.

Treadmill & Kids ~ They are more than welcome to use my Gazelle & Exercise Ball, but the treadmill isn't mine... I am not sure I will be using it very long for that fact.... Just was kinda trying it out at the neighbor ladies prompting... She doesn't use it anymore. When something like that isn't mine, I get kinda funny feeling... Will see her tomorrow and talk to her about considering selling it....

Ha Ha... Remote switching between Diners/Drive-in's/Dives & a movie tonight (hubby was) while I went a bit on the treadmill.... You came to mind when the food on DDD was lox with something else I won't mention..... I love salmon!

so today was a positive day. exercise, lacking. but a positive day.

breakfast: lox on amy's chicago veggie burger, milk. around 400

lunch: soy chips, tea w. milk 200

i would have had a snack after work but i couldn't show my dad that i didn't rush to meet him to go to the DMV he would have been upset that i was fooling around instead of going directly to meet him after school.

dinner: HUGE, HUGE salad. lettuce 20, tomato 30, red pepper 50, green salsa (not red) from stop and shop 50, tofu 90, microwaved fresh brussel sprouts until crispy (10 minutes or so)130...gum, kombucha total: 460. lol, it was a LOT of food - and healthy.

total: 1060. wow. haven't eaten this low in awhile. I will MAKE SURE it doesn't backfire tomorrow.

so...there's this kid (29 yrs old) in my class who is really, really rude to me. he thinks he can get away with calling me curse words and telling me the rudest things to my face. anyway, he drew very perverted and sexual pictures all over my white hardcover binder when i wasn't in the classroom! could you believe it!? i actually showed my parents last night because i did think it was totally out of control he would do that. my dad flipped out when he saw what this guy drew. so would you, if i showed you.

i told the teacher. she made photocopies of my binder...and will speak with him tomorrow. i think he will be MORE than pissed when this happens.

this guy is definitely strange. he has said lots of even racist things to me. including calling me a JAP (jewish american princess - which is offensive when not said to be humerous), he constantly tries to make me feel very bad about myself and i think he has potential to try to hurt me.

not sure why. at least the teacher sees what's going on. there are 11 total people in my class and they all think this guy is nuts.

Ben had to turn a kid in @ school yesterday for having a lighter & perfume bottle... He ignited it next to Ben's pants (AHHHHHHHHHH).... The kids got lunch detention and something else.. Not enough as far as I'm concerned!!!! If you feel that the potential is physical harm I would push the issue of "everybody's safety".... You be careful!!!!! The parent in me comes out when I read something like this..Just pure dee ol' wrong in today's society of "wackos" that it takes something actually happening or somebody dying before anybody WILL do anything..... There is a thing called PREVENTION!

Now, got that out of my system... SO HAPPY to see your day turn out so terrific... I bet you feel good too ?!?!?!?!?

Hello there. I'm going back to using my hollybelle name. I don't hav to a new anything - so here I am. I agree with Thin's post up there. You be careful. Now, since I haven't been on the site regularly laely - tell me what kind of class is this, exactly? I'm confused as to why a 29 yo person acting like this would be tolerated unless it has something to do with adults with disabilities, etc.....?

Anyway - as for the good day - WOW, yes, it sure was. You go! WTG!

I agree with Biscotti...do not leave it up to the teacher...tell the police!! What he is doing is criminal harassment and possibly also a hate crime. Sorry, but a teacher isn't going to be the one that can deal with this. This guy doesn't need a 'sit down' he needs to be punished by law.

dinner: stirfry w. tofu it'll be around 400

exercise: forcing myself to get to the gym. i need it.

i have been very busy/stressed. we have LOTS of tests and lots of work. i need a break, therefore going to the gym.
