Here's to a new start.

I have had weight issues since high school... I'm 26 now. I am currently at my heighest weight (225-230). For years I would hit the 200 pound mark and lose weight because I hated the thought of weighing over 200. I broke my foot in October 2015 and couldn't do any physical activity until February. Between that and just letting myself go I have gained 30 pounds this year. It's terrifying to step on the scale and see that number. It's also terrfying to see myself in pictures. I can't believe how much my body has changed this year. I have a long way to go, but I'm hoping this diet journal will help me out!

Heighest Weight: 230

1st Goal Weight: 200

Final Goal Weight: 165

Height: 5'6"

Anyways, I will be going on vacation for a week on July 9th (it will probably be an obstacle of trying to eat healthy), but I am hoping that I can really get myself on track this summer. I'm a teacher, so it would be really nice to get back to work a little lighter in September : )!

Hello! We are here to help you. I have always counted on this site for support and to give support. I'm a member for approx 10 yrs here!

You can do it. And on vacation, plenty of restaurnats now have vegetables. Eat lots of veggies and less carbs with your meals. Put the emphasis on vegetables and the weight will slide off! Of course you still need protein and some carbs, but less of the breads and more of the veggies is my tip!

I feel ya. I keep seeing 200 and freak out (I'm a little shorter than you 5'4") I feel like I know in a few months time I will be way above 200 if I don't get back down. My goal is 160 sorta like yours. good luck !!!
