Hey, the site is in constant change... I'm at the operations now so I didn't have time to update/write earlier.

I resolved my situation w/ work, I stay here where I've been already. I will tell you about my decision on FB!

Hello girlios!!!

Sorry, I haven't had the chance / nerves to write before. I'm so nervous I'm constantly on the WC... some people vomit, some people eat too much, some people - like me - have diarrhea when nervous... I'm wearing V's old jeans and they're getting too big, woohoo... the ones with the Lady inside (yes, I'm sharing them with a Lady, hehehe). V will explain for sure in the comments. :P

I've been to tennis today.

Want to hear/read a freaking story? I'm so low on self-esteem because of being fat that yesterday when I went to the store, the clerk at the cashiers was very nice to me, to the level of flirting, I checked my receipts and my credit card several times, looking for signs of cheating (I understood flirting as a tentative to derive my attention and charge me more). Nothing found. But I am a proud owner of a Wilson (I'm a fan of their tennis equipments) badminton racket, at a bargain price of 22 EUR (the original price was 99 EUR).

 Today's menu:

06H00 - soy yogurt w/ Nestlé Fitness cereals

10H00 - LF milk w/ coffee, an orange

12H00 - veggie soup (200 kcal), chicken curry with white rice (400 kcal)

16H00 - an apple (100 kcal)

20H00 - a cacau with some whole grain cookies (300 kcal)

Grand total: 1500 kcal

Good morning, Girls!

Badminton was lovely yesterday night - I felt a bit of a tension at my hiney at the end of the training so I sat on the floor and did some streching, which resulted because today I was more than ready for my individual tennis training, YAY!!!! :-))))

Tonight I'm going to visit the other company about the job offer, they want to formalize their proposal (speaking in EUROS, hehe)... I'm a bit stressed, though exicted. My man is very stressed... Wish I could have more time to explain you my thoughts at the moment. Maybe tonight when I arrive home I can get to Facebook, or on Thursday maybe.

Today's menu:

06H00 - a slice of rye bread, toasted, with a slice of LF cheese and a cup of milk, a pepper (350 kcal)

09H30 - LF milk w/ coffee - a lot! :-) 150 kcal

12H00 - veggie soup, a tin of sardines in tomato sauce with salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, raw carrot and some LF salad sauce) - 600 kcal

14H00 - an orange and a coffee (150 kcal)

16H30 - two toasts (60 kcal) with low-cal fruit jam (40 kcal) and some milk (30 kcal)

20H00 - veggie soup leftovers (100 kcal), chicken curry by Man with white rice (400 kcal) and a mango

Grand total: 2200 kcal

Good morning, Girlies!!!

YAY for individual tennis tranings... . Worth any price! The sissies didn't show up - for a change, LOL. The cold weather continues and it's much better in bed, it's warmer and it tastes good. I know. I feel the same, but even then I get my butt out at 5h40 AM, catch the bus at 6h20 AM and arrive to the tennis training/gym/pool/etc. at 7h00 am... It's a need, and my body says thank for it afterwards!

I was rather disappointed today morning... The reason was: Saturday morning I met a dude at the gym, he overheard my conversation w/ the trainer, I was telling him about my dieting anniversary, and the pounds lost, etc. This dude appeared in front of me a bit later, he made questions about my diet and said he wanted to lose 50 kgs (110 lbs). I promised him the paper the Dr. gave me, still gave the advice to visit the Dr because he was a man and most probably he could do more calories than a woman, etc.. and I didn't know anything about him (illnesses, restricting conditions) so I wasn't easy on giving advices to the poor dude... but I promised him the paper, all right. We scheduled it for this morning, he was telling me how he was doing gym everyday, and that he needed to schedule it for 7 AM because he had his workshifts changed. Guess what, he didn't appear... They are all the same, I guess. We're in minority, we with better willpower...

Today's menu:

06H00 - LF milk w/ LF cocoa and Nestlé Fitness cereals

09H30 - LF milk w/ coffee

11H00 - an orange

awesome with the exercise. it really does feel good to kick in the extra effort, especially in the cold! i did another walk when i got home yesterday when i was about to cave in to a sweet snack and a nap. the walk in the brisk air zapped that need! hope you have a fantastic day.

You know, I have a feeling I count my calories on the low side. I don't measure things, I eyeball them and guess a lot. So I may be taking in more than MyFitnessPal tells me. I try to round up....All I know is that I'm consistent about the way I count and measure and that system seems to work for me!

Good afternoon, girlies! 

Friday it is... I'm seeing changes on DD site, I will have to analyse this, but only during weekend. Filled with work, filled with emotional stress. I'm going to tell you about it on FB. It's more private and I'm a bit paranoic nowadays.

Anyways, I'm in a good mood. I went to the gym (no tennis - foggy, wet weather) today morning, I had a very nice workout. They haven't found my papers yet...

Today's menu:

06H15 - an apple (100 kcal)

10H00 - LF milk w/ coffee (100 kcal)

12H20 - creme de marisco (soup with seafood), mango (600 kcal)

14H30 - LF milk w/ coffee (100 kcal)

16H00 - a soy yogurt (100 kcal) and a normal LF yogurt w/ a slice of whole toast (100 kcal)

19H00 - a soy chocolate flavour dessert (100 kcal)

Grand total: 1200 kcal

 And something to celebrate: my diet... 1 year!

I joined DD exactly a year ago. It's been a productive, supportive, lovely year, one of the best years of my life, and I hope/pray/am sure we have even better ones ahead, together... coz we can, we are able, and we will definitely... MAKE IT!

Hi Kathy, thanks for your message. I do need to find a way to get in more excersise. As I mentioned I walk everywhere, often pushing a buggy but that's it. I have been looking at excersise equipement on ebay. I used to really like the rowing machine when I went to the gym so maybe I'll find one to buy myself for a bargain!

My 6th anniversary was on January 7th. Wow, huh! I've had a bad Starbucks habit since college, but in recent years I have tried to cut back since its a pricey habit. Thats one reason why I put an espresso machine on my wedding registry, so I can make them myself more often. :)

As for the baby's name, we've had one picked out since 3 days after finding out his gender. We're just choosing to keep it a secret until delivery day! :)

Good morning, girls!

I had tennis today, yeee... two consecutive days... But the weather was so weird, foggy that the coach had to put high-visibility markers on the court for us to see where the court lines were...

Badminton was +/- yesterday. I didn't feel realized at the end, I like hard trainings and yesterday there were too many people so the coach didn't have time for us. I played with a stupid headache, in addition. Thank you for your sweet comments on FB, I drank a tea and it got better. I'm OK now.

Well, today me and my are going to eat out. Lovely! :-)

Confessions of a coffee addict: I couldn't give coffee up! DANG. I'm so confused, because I've been struggling with low F (ferro - IRON) for a long time and coffee is one of the forbidden things to drink for me. I'm into decaf now, it's good too because I think I just love the flavour! I don't want to give it up...

Yesterday I talked to the boss, results are: raise for me, and a promise to try to find a job for my man. Good, cannot ask for more. Still, if he's  unable to find a job for him in the near future, I'll have to leave, because the other company offers me double than this one. Physically on the bank account, no sh*t.

I was so tense, tired in the head because of this situation, and yesterday I could make it to the gym at night - it felt so good. I really needed it  - 2 hours of working out, 1 hour cardio and 1 hour muscle building.

Well, BAD NEWS, very bad news is that they've lost my file at the gym. I am so pissed at them!!! I arrived to the gym yesterday, there was this Brazilian dude, asking me with puzzled face: "Are you going to train NOW???" (I never could make it to the gym in the afternoons you know, I'm an early birdie, and there's a phsycological issue, underground takes me to the gym all right but the station BEFORE the gym's leads me to the train station where I can catch the train and go home... so I almost always leave at that station and go home instead of the gym, hahahahahah I'm soooooo weak!!!!!!) so... I said yes, I am going to train now, is there a problem? He said: "No, it's just that I found your files here on the desk today morning, they were all around the place so you should look into them". Right, I found TWO files of mine, one with my history and the recent one to continue BUT the physical evaluation file was missing. This file tells me my progress in miles, calories and kilos... the gym's files are slightly different and they don't have the cardio limits I need to change from week to week.... So, it's really annoying, girls... I've been training on this since November, and this is a huge set-back for me...

Good news is: today I had a tennis training, weather's getting better... and I am going to have badminton tonight. LOL..... :-)

Today's menu:

06H10 - toasted rye bread w/ LF soy margarine, a pepper and banana soy milk (it's OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVER, yeeeah!) - 400 kcal

09H30 - LF milk w/ coffee (200 kcal)

12H30 - veggie soup, cooked veggies with 2 slices of grilled lean chicken breast and salad (lettuce, tomato and cucumber w/ olive oil and vinegar) 600 kcal

14H00 - an orange (100 kcal)

20H00 - an orange (60 kcal)

23H30 - veggie soup leftovers (200 kcal)

Grand total: 1600 kcal

 

Progress as of today: 131.6 lbs lost so far, only 39.6 lbs to go!

how about decaf coffee or black tea? i know there is no sub for coffee, but it has really helped me in the past to drink spiced tea with milk as soon as i wake up so i dont feel like im missing my coffee fix. congrats on your raise - way to go lady!

LOL... 194,6 lbs today morning, without the pajamas and without TOM... :-) So I decided to take it and register this weight!

Yesterday was a great badminton training day. Few people appeared, I had Master Yoda (a 80+ year old senior badminton player and trainer) only for me, HAHAHAH... he made me run, and I had to ask him to stop a bit from time to time, WHAT A SHAME!!!! LOL....

I am a bit stressed because I'm standing at a crossroad now. I have a job offer, kinda final state, and I'd like to negotiate here at the current company... but in an odd way. I want them to hire my man, or I leave because the wage I'm collecting from here won't be enough for two if his workplace collapses financially - which is a matter of time. He hasn't received the 14th month's wage in 2010, and things are very uncertain, tense at his workplace. He wants stability (who doesn't) and certanities (who doesn't), and I want that too because I'm very tired and tense. I'm turning to 30 this year, I want to know what can I expect from here, from there... The job offer is great, offers me a salary 2x than here and a new variety of things to learn about, to know about. An international company, too, with possibilities of carrier, better than here for sure. But my life is very concentrated in here, French course is 5 min away, badminton is 10 min away, tennis & gym & pool is 15 min away... DIFFICULT. I'm going to talk to the boss today afternoon. Will let ya know.

Congrats on the new wait! Sounds like you have a tough decision regarding your job. I hope your talk with your boss goes well, it sounds like it would benefit them to get 2 good employees out of the deal rather than losing a good employee. When life hands you tough decisions, you must Use The Force haha. Have a good one!

As for my second husband, his name is Tim Tebow. He was the superstar quarterback at my college from 2005-2009 and now plays as the quarterback of the Denver Broncos (and a spokesperson for a huge underwear company here in the US). Not only is he a fantastic athlete, he is an amazing example of what a human should be when it comes to character. And he has gotten quite attractive since his post-college days, hehe.
