Goody morning!

Went to tennis, yeeeah, it was great today!  The weather is awesome. Too bad the next two Thursdays are national holidays so there won't be any classes... Sniff.

Today's menu:

07H00 - a cup of smashed fruits

09H30 - a pear

10H30 - LF milk w/ coffee

12H45 - vegetarian dish from the nearby vegetarian restaurant (beans, veggies and rice with salad), and some soy dessert

15H00 - 220 ml "7 strawberries and an apple" smashed fruit

17H00 - a slice of WG bread w/ low-kcal strawberry jam (300 kcal)

20H00 - 2 slices of WG bread w/ LF cheese and cucumber and veggie soup and watermelon (TOOO MUCH but the bread I bought, whole grain, it's LOVELY!)

Grand total: 1700 kcal

11H00 - coffee w/ milk (100 kcal)

12H45 - a grilled chicken leg with asparagus puree and an orange (500 kcal)

16H00 - a fresh cheese w/ 2 slices of finnish rye toasts (100 kcal)

17H00 - a soy yogurt (100 kcal)

21H00 - veggie soup, a slice of melon (YEEEAH, FIRST OF THE SEASON!) and a soy dessert (400 kcal)

Grand Total: 1300 kcal

happy memorial day to you, as well! chia is a flax-type seed, which offers the same properties as flax, but you do not have to grind it for it to be beneficial to the body. hope you had a great weekend!

Today I went to participate on an event called Women in Body and Soul. I had:

2 hours of core exercise, 1 hour of chi-ball, 1 hour of salsa dance class, 1 hour of yoga, I received a massage (15 min) and I saw a lot of interesting stuff.

So, can we say, I had my fare share of exercise today? :) I loved core! The device is this: http://www.performbetter.com/detail.aspx_Q_ID_E_3557_A_categoryid_E_234 and it's AMAZING! I think it would be a great complementary for tennis!

Today's menu (kinda caotic!, I haven't noted the hours):

LF milk w/ coffee substitute and cereals, smashed fruit, an apple, a slice of rye bread with a LF LC cheese and paprika, 2 bottles of BLAGH sugared-water... then at home I had: veggie soup, a soy yogurt and a soy dessert. And still planning to have a normal, plain yogurt. Let's see how many is this in kcal: 1400! Splendid! :)

12H30 - veggie soup and a soy yogurt (400 kcal)

14H00 - a pear (80 kcal)

15H30 - a toast w/ low cal strawberry jam (70 kcal)

17H00 - cofee w/ LF milk (50 kcal) and an apple (80 kcal)

20H00 - a slice of rye bread with a LF LC cheese and veggie (250 kcal)

20H30 - a soy dessert (100 kcal)

Grand Total: 1400 kcal

I'm soooo pissed off, I have a project here and it just doesn't make its picture in my head, I'm so distracted!

By the way I updated my Start Weight, because when I first weighed in at the doctor's it showed 326,2. Then I lost 10 lbs so when I started this diary I was already at 316. But, to serve as motivation and impression for me and for my DD friends here, I put here my real start weight. I also updated my Goal Weight as 191 lbs for my height is the Obesity point. Below this, I'm NOT obese.

haha, yup. pizza. i count calories more than anything. i used to be really in tune with my health but now it's more about the calories than nutrition. and then, once in awhile, i havae a craze for veggies and i up my intake when i feel i want to.

I couldn't believe my eyes today! 116 kgs! (256 lbs) - I crossed the 117 kgs line, a fearful number as one of my "successful" diets in the past stopped here. AMAZING! I am so happy!

07H00 - LF milk w/ LF cocoa and a very small amount of black sugar w/ cereals (250 kcal)

10H00 - coffee w/ LF milk (100 kcal)

13H00 - tuna w/ WW pasta and veggies and a berry mousse, very low cal 0F (600 kcal)

15H30 - 100% fruit puree (without added sugar) 80 kcal

17H00 - a slice of finnish toast w/ Lkcal jam (50 kcal)

20H00 - a slice of grilled veal (200 gr) with fresh raw veggies and aspargus puree (500 kcal)

Grand Total: 1600 kcal

17H00 - two finnish rye toasts w/ low-cal strawberry jam (125 kcal/100 gr, imagine!!!) and some coffee w/ milk (150 kcal)

12H45 - cooked whole grain rice with veggies (LOVELY ) + soy caramel dessert (400 kcal)

16H00 - two slices of WW toasts (100 kcal) w/ LF LC cheese (25 kcal), a slice of "real" cheese (100 kcal?) and a soy yogurt (110 kcal)

21H00 - veggie soup and a plain yogurt with smashed fruit (400 kcal)

Grand Total: 1500 kcal

Progress as of today: 53.6 lbs lost so far, only 63 lbs to go!

I hope you get to try Greek yogurt at least once. It is so yummy and good for you. I prefer it over regular yogurt now. The kinds I get are: Fage, Chobani, Oikos, and Dannon (when I can't find the any of the other brands).

Anyway, I'll be posting an update tomorrow afternoon about my doctor's appointment, so be on the lookout!

I second the Greek yogurt suggestion, and I've had both Fage and Chobani. I wish I could swim with my son, in fact I did a mother/son swim class with him last year. But he's with other boys now, no parents allowed in the pool! Plus I have to watch my younger son during the class. That's where the workout comes in, he won't sit still so I chase him all around the YMCA and through the gym there :)

Good morning!

No tennis today (RAINING, and 2nd day period... blagh)...

Any news from me? Yes! I have some news. Dentist went OK, I'm a peregrine there. My dents are horrible (family inheritance, whatever). But then I went to fisiotheraphy, and the doctor there said I could continue tennis, once a week (as suspected), and I have to do swimming 3 times. Also, I'm going to do 3x fisiotheraphy, which includes gym to strengthen my back, hidromassage and hidrogymnastics. Great, isn't it. This will last 5 weeks, they will teach me how to sit/stand/sleep correctly. It won't be possible to get the standard posture but I can still have the chance to live a healthy life and no backpains. First of all, I have to lose more weight. I have to reach to a healthy 60 kilos (60 kgs left to lose) and never get fat again... So, motivation is GIVEN! 

Today's menu:

08H00 - two slices of WW toast w/ LF cheese and LF milk w/ LF cocoa powder and 1 tomato (300 kcal)

10H00 - some coffee w/ LF milk (50 kcal)

11H00 - an apple (50 kcal)

13H00 - grilled chicken with raw veggies and a soy soft caramel dessert (600 kcal)

16H00 - a bio yogurt (150 kcal, way too much fat, not a very good choice but once it's OK (3,7% milk))

20H00 - fruit salad pure (50 kcal)

21H00 - veggie soup, a taste of my Man's food (hmm delicious, he cooks really well!) and a soy yogurt (400 kcal)

Total: 1600 kcal

Progress as of today: 53.6 lbs lost so far, only 63 lbs to go!

Thanks for the healthy ice cream tips! I have an ice cream maker, but always forget I have it until someone mentions homemade ice cream, hahaha. I will definitely try making frozen yogurt with it. Sounds delicious!

Yes, Kathy. I eat fruit everyday and try to have 3 or 4 different kinds. When I eat it, it's like a rich, heavenly dessert - SO sweet and delicious, esp. the pineapple and cantalope.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, not eating at night is sooooo hard. I'm really, really hoping I can keep at it because it does seem to be paying off. Trust me, I'm fighting myself every minute I'm awake!

The past couple of nights I've been having dinner about 5:30 and then a snack RIGHT before 7pm and then just water after that. If that keeps working, I'll keep doing it. I find that it's plain hard for me to stop eating (even though I have tons of healthy stuff in the house -- just want to reach for the ww crackers and that makes me want to eat more and more of them) You're right, it's unfair!

I've taken three home pregnancy tests and they all say I'm pregnant, hehe. However, I made an doctor's appointment for Thursday afternoon for the official diagnosis and due date. :)

lol, ok. I'll definitely talk to her about my food choices. I eat relatively healthy most of the time, so I think my baby will be fine. The only thing that will probably screw me up is my insanely strong cravings for ice cream, haha. I ate A LOT of ice cream during the last half of my first pregnancy, so I will have to be extra careful not to go crazy with it this time around!
