Well...,

Nothing happened at the doctor's. He sent me to do some X-Rays, so next week I'm going back with the exams. That will be the frightening part...

Today's menu:

07H00 - LF milk with coffee substitute and cereals

11H00 - a cookie (salty, 16kcal)

12H45 - a slice of meat, grilled (VERY CHEWY!!! ) with asparagus and iceberg cabbage, an orange

16H30 - a yogurt (LF, natural!), an orange

17H30 - two cookies (the same as 11h)

21H00 - veggie soup, a toast with a slice of ham, a chocolate "egg" with an almond (without sugar, +/- 40 kcal)

Progress as of today: 48.3 lbs lost so far, only 47.8 lbs to go!

I don't know how long Biggest Loser has been on, but last night was only the third time I watched it! Before, I had misconceptions about it which disappeared after watching it.

Now that my son is into losing too, it's more fun to watch with him.

I've heard that all sorts of TV programs can be accessed on the computer, tho I have NO idea at all as to what you have to do. Chack it out. Maybe you'll be able to find it.

Good morning!

Today is a big day for me - I'm very anxious. I go to see the orthpedia, I want to ask advices about how to correct my posture. I have a curve on my back, and it is very ugly.. imagine if I lose the fat from there, it will be more obvious.. so I need a posture correction class of fisiotheraphy. And I fear that the Dr. says I shouldn't play tennis... Tennis is a very "high cardio fitness" but it's also a big effort for the back and muscles (think about serving!). I have huge backpains now for a long time... But I LOVE tennis... And I'm 28 (will be 29 in August) so the world is still mine as I feel...

Today's menu:

07H00 - LF milk with cereals

11H00 - two slices of small toasts WG, with 1 LC LF cheese + slice of melon

12H45 - a slice of steamed cow meat with cooked veggies and salad

16H00 - a yogurt, melon

20H30 - veggie soup, 3 small swedish WG toasts with 0%F cheese and cucumbers, 2 slices of ham, and a LF yogurt

Progress as of today: 48.3 lbs lost so far, only 47.8 lbs to go!

I have a slight scoliosis of the back too. When I was told this then all the years of posture problems were explained. When you have this problem, it takes conscious effort to try and have 'correct' posture.

Looking back I notice in all the photos of me standing, you can clearly see how one shoulder is lower than the other.

Other than that it didn't affect any physical exercise I did.

Wow sis, we have a lot in common, I too have a curve in my back, in fact, I have this big ugly bulge right in my upper back, below my neck. It look disgusting, I could be hunchback's double. ( Just kidding ) Dr. says, it's only fat. Maybe as I lose weight, it will go down. I HATE IT! I am also born in August. Don't worry too much, you still look very pretty on your picture. Thanks for the info on great movies, I'll look into renting those movies next weekend. Hugs!

WOW, I'm half way there to my first medium-goal: 100 kgs (220 lbs).

When I look back, I see:

I started this in January. Since then, I'm being able to keep the excercise (2 hours/week) tennis or fitness (in bad weather) and healthy eating...

My goals (MG - minigoal, MeG - mediumgoal, FG - final goal, EG - excercise goals):

I started 148 kgs: MG: below 130. Achieved.
MG: 117 kgs (more 4 kgs minus, I hope to achieve this by mid-May)
EG: below 120, I want to have +2 days of swimming
MeG: 100 kgs (I hope to achieve this by the end of Autumn)

Today's menu:

08H00 - toasts with a laughing cow cheese and LF milk with coffee substitute

11H00 - a pear

12H45 - soup

14H45 - a yogurt

16H30 - a half melon (YUUMMM)

20H30 - soup again, with 2 small toasts, LF cheese cream and 2 cucumbers

What an uplifting story about your old pants being too big! That's the way I feel about my size ten jeans I tried for over a year to fit into and now they're about to be put in the C.A.R.E. package I'm assembling for my daughter in the hope that she'll get with it and join me and her brother Billy in our efforts.

When I'm fat I simply hate to shop for clothes. Consequently I go around looking like a bag lady wearing old and tattered clothes because the "fit". So altho I'm happy to be wearing "big" 8's, all the beautiful 12's and 14's my daughter gave me the beginning of Oct. when I visited her, havea gone unworn! That's a small price to apuy for what I've achieved.

the sugar free pudding is actually pretty good... Only if you don't mind artificial sweeteners though... I don't mind them so I think its good...

SUNDAY... (weekends go so fast...)

Today's menu:

09h00 - 2 prokorn toasts (these are small and light) with a LF cheese and LF milk with coffee substitute

10h00 - I had an other dose of prokorn toasts with my BF , without anything else

13H00 - a slice of cooked cow meat with cooked veggies and salad, + strawberries, and a small dose of juice just to take the medicine

 17H00 - an apple with a LF yogurt

21H00 - ice cream I made out of 2 bananas and ice

24H00 - a salty cookie (WG, 16 kcal)

LOL. yeah, my mind/heart were not up to the yoga i was planning on the weeks before my vacation. I meant to make my week off a yoga extravaganza but in the end i didn't go. Yoga, especially the hot yoga, requires a good mental mindset for it. it's all in your mind mostly and i couldn't get in that mode during this vacation - but this is because i had too much on my mind and too many errands.

i still love yoga and when i can i will do it. probably when i gradute in June from the program i'm in!

looks like some healthy eating for you today. good job to you!

SATURDAY! ... and I'm working...

Let me say, I'm getting better. Fortunatelly, it didn't reach advanced state (nor flu), because this time I was smart enough to get the medicine right when I felt the first symptoms.

Today afternoon I meet my Man and his father, (and his car, principal motive as we don't have a car, I don't even have a driving licence... ) so we can do some greater shopping to cure our empty fridge... 

By the way , I'm really sad, and I just want to share this with you. My mum has a lot of animals, between them, cats. They stay outside in the garden, and of course they wander away time to time, because it's in their nature. She has a very colourful, very kind kittycat, who got pregnant (of course, it's in their nature, too..). And the day before yesterday she got caught by a rabbit trap or something (I believe some people use this to prevent cats in their garden, too), and half of her head "disappeared". But even in this state, she got home to the garage and gave birth to 3 kittens... Must have been because of the shock, I believe they are premature... Now my mother told me they're taking her to the vet to put her asleep for good, because they don't think she would recover. And of course my mother NEVER has the money for such things, but they always have the money to buy all sorts of hi-tech equipment for her leech (a guy who never worked in his life)... I hate when this happens. We, here at work, also feed some cats who live behind the building. Sometimes a stupid old lady comes (she's someone from the condominium) and quarells about us feeding the cats and how she, one day, would poison them... Too bad I've never caught the lady saying this, because I'd have said something like "You're a miserable old woman who has nothing else better to do... poison animals who cannot fight again this type of evil, I hope it will measure in front of the Allmighty and you'll pay for it..."

Sorry to unload this here, but my Man reacts very badly to these situations, he's very sensitive but we cannot do anything... We cannot save these animals, we cannot do anything against people who put traps on their properties (only if we'd know where it is, because it's against law to torture/kill domestic animals and they can go to prison for that)... We can just hope that these people come to their good senses somewhere along the way of their miserable lives... Really, I won't gain the Nobel prize any time soon, but I hope I'm not here, alive as a human being, in vain...)

today's menu:

08H00 - a yogurt

09H00 - a WG cereals bun with a laughing cow LF cheese and some LF milk

12H45 - chicken biriani

18H00 - half an orange

22H00 - 2 slices of prokorn WG bread with 1 laughing cow LF cheese and hot LF milk, after a huge sleep I needed

23H00 - a yogurt

Wow, that poor cat. I can't believe how mean some people can be. I'll never forget the day when we found my stepmom's kitten poisoned to death. We think it was our neighbor who purposely left a bowl of anti-freeze (which smells and tastes sweet) in her garden. I hope these people realize what they are doing is evil. It makes me so mad!!

12H45 - some grilled meat with 2 laughing cow LF cheese, raw cucumber and iceberg lettuce (FINALLY I'VE FOUND IT!)

14H30 - a yogurt, after taking the medicine

17H00 - a pear

 19H00 - a yogurt

...

20H00 - RESTAURANT with my man - hopefully I eat a slice of grilled swordfish

I had a slice of grilled salmon with veggies and salad... it was veeery nice, I'm sooo filled!

Sorry you have not felt well this week, but your loss was not from cuttting your hair (LOL). I got a kick out of that comment. You have been working hard and it's paying off. Take care of yourself regarding sore throat and you will come out the other side of your illness strong and ready to go another round. Did you like the Laughing Cow Cheese? I love it. I make a "Hungry Girl Healthy Mac & Cheese" with it that gets me though many days.

MORE LOSS!

I think I cheated by having the hair cut, ehehehe... but, I'm less, that says it all!

I went to the Dr. today, because of my sore throat. I got antibiotics and other stuff to take. In 5 days I'm better than new. So I can go tennis next week. Today I couldn't go because of the sickness and the appointment with the Doc.... but the weather is sh*tty so I didn't lose the class. I've lost fitness - no tears after it.

Today's menu:

07h00 - LF milk with cereals

12h45 - a slice of grilled turkey breast with cooked asparagus, a yogurt

15h30 - 2 whole grain toasts with 1 laughing cow cheese

20h30 - pomelo, 2 whole grain swedish toasts with 0F fresh cheese

-- lot of tea (without sugar) during the day

lol about your hair weightloss. I often wonder how much weight hair adds to a person. I mean, I've seen people with hair down to their calves. Thats gotta be at least 10 pounds right there. :)

@work, sick... - sore throat. I'm taking medicine but I had hard times sleeping at night, so I'm very grumpy today. And I have difficulties swallowing food, so I have to be extra careful. I don't think I go to the tennis class tomorrow morning... I'll see.

Today's menu:

08h00 - hot LF milk with cereals and some coffee substitute

12h30 - the turkey meat "balls" from yesterday, hopefully with some lettuce with cucumber, raw + 1 yogurt

15h45 - 2 toasts with a LF laughing cow cheese, an apple

20h30 - veggie soup, 2 salty cookies (16kcal/cookie), pomelo

I bought a book (+DVD) which teaches us how to handle and train our backs in 15 min... VERY COOL, I'm going to see it today.

Well look at you! I had read/commented on your Monday entry and the picture you'd posted on Sunday...but I just noticed that you snuck a new picture into your Monday entry....beautiful! Love the hair! It's very Spring/Summer! I am sorry to hear you're not feeling well...warm tea with lemon is the staple to my diet when I have a sore throat. Hope you feel better!!! That DVD sounds interesting, let us know how it is!

Oh no, I hope you arent getting sick! If so, its best to take it easy on any exercise and focus on eating properly and staying hydrated so that your body can have a speedy recovery.

I proudly present more loss in my current weight.

Today's menu:

07h00 - LF milk + coffee substitute + WW cereals

10h00 - a tea, an apple

12h00 - veggie soup + 1 toast with cream made by my colleauge (had to try, it was really good)

meanwhile, I got a new visual, just to feel even better for Springtime! RED HAIR! Never had before!!!!

15h00 - pomelo and a yogurt

17h00 - 2 toasts with 2 laughing cow cheese

21h00 - a slice of cow meat, grilled with asparagus and mushrooms, a fried egg (on the grill so we haven't used any oil) and cucumbers. Then a mango and finally a little almond with chocolate around (without added sugar, for diabetics - 4 pcs have 115kcal, I had one).

Progress as of today: 43.1 lbs lost so far, only 53 lbs to go!
