I read your previous entry. I hope you feel better. It's very easy to get sick this time of year. I think it's because we need more rest this time of year. that's my guess, really. I am really starting to think it - because I find myself lower on energy than the warmer & longer sunlight times of year..
Nice on the green beans. I went to a work / union dinner last week too...and something that helped me - I brought a huge thing of seltzer that I sweetened a little extra with stevia. (I've been using stevia for years, but, it was in my fridge untouched for awhile - since I started with the pumpkin / cranberries I've been using it more again..)
anyways, the food was good at the meeting, but, it wasn't hugely filling - it was cold Italian heroes (yum!) and a salad with some dressing. You know, sandwiches are in general prob not the most filling and I always feel I want MORE after. So, I guzzled on my liter of seltzer, it was flavored and with stevia in addition. It kept my mouth busy and I became satisfied after awhile without needing more food at that moment while it was still around and available and tempting. I will probably ALWAYS bring seltzer with me to these types of things! best idea ever. :)

Got the green light for another Northern Florida / Southern Georgia trip just after New Years. My ribs are hurting again. And I have a scratchy sore throat. I probably caught something at the dinner.
