I just left a post on the forum on shoes. It could be part of your problem with the aches and stuff. Though you should listen to HoP--her ordeal with shinsplints is epic and she's younger than you and me:-)

Wearing good shoes is important as we age. You can wear any old thing when you've got a young body. Not so much as we age!

GoodMorning. 2233 calories in / 2172 calories out. 3L h2o. 4.9 miles. It's getting harder to stay under 2000 calories. I think I was overboard every day last week (except Sunday). Have a Healthy Day.

Sometimes when I just keep craving higher calories, it helps to try to eat more balanced - for me it usually includes more carbs and fats and also real food...and less garbage (processed bars & things). You are still eating well & it shouldn't cause any weight gain!
