I understand, Ohio! We used to go back to Michigan every xmas but now we don't as we prefer a long summer trip. I will feel a bit sad christmas day though. Enjoy the holidays anyway, Ohio. :)

Gentle suggestion: get your vit D level checked or just go ahead and start supplementing (if you don't already) 1-5K IUs/day or every other day. Low D can contribute to depression, so it may not be just the weather:-)

Of course sun stimulates D production in our skin, which is hard to come by at the proper location in the sky to accomplish this time of year. I think they say south of about LA, you can. But if it's too cold to get out in shorts and sleeves, then it's impossible.
