Just looking at your last couple of entries and V has some solid advice for you. Maintaining a loss is tricky business, and you may also find that there's a "range" that works for you. I know I can't stay at 1 number indefinitely, but I've been successful at maintaining a 5-lb range and I know when I get out of that range I've got to rein it in (like right now!) I hope things improve for you on the home front.

No exercise, sat on the couch and watched the Ravens snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. Beaten by the Packers.

Played at a bonfire, cookout, sing-along. Ate my first hotdog in about a year. It was kinda disgusting and tasty. I think I'm good for another year.

Gained this week. I don't know why but I gotta get lower and maintain.

Hello!! Sorry about the Raven's loss I am sure they will be back on track Sunday!

As far as the gain, maybe your body is used to the same routine as far as food goes and with your bike routine maybe you need to balance out the carb ratio and add more protein to your daily intake.. Don't get me wrong carbs are good especially the complex ones but protein is just as important even moreso after your bike rides..

Not preaching, just speaking from personal experience.. After reading an article from "Muscle and Fitness" about hitting a wall/plateau with loss/definition, I switched things up a bit by getting my complex carbs in before evening since you burn the most in the earlier part of the day..Chugging a big glass or cold water upon waking up will kickstart your metabolism as well..Don't get me wrong, fruits, popcorn,beans and nuts are good but it is more about the time you ingest them

Sorry for the mini novel but I just wanted to let you know this happens to alot of people(myself included) that eat almost the same thing everyday.. This has got you to where you are thusfar with your loss and what may have worked then may not be as effective now..Your body has already changed into a calorie burning machine so now it's time to tweak your intake..Please don't take this as me being a know it all, just offering my thoughts..

Met with the wife's parents from North Carolina. Gave them a mess of sweet potatoes.

The mornings have been cold. Biking in to work is getting tougher. My hands just get cold even with gloves. The next few days should be warmer.

Push Mowed the Lawn.

I tried the Stevia tincher I've had soaking in vodka for a little over a month, and it tastes, sweet...and Terrible. I've put the opened jar sitting on the stove burner on low, trying to evaporate the alcohol, hoping this makes it taste better. I sure can't use it the way it is. I have 2 jars in vodka, and 2 jars with just the dried leaves. I need to do more research that just watching a couple YouTubes.

I don't think you're going to get the stevia to taste good on its own. Stevia is disgustingly sweet and somehow bitter at the same time. I've only ever had it in coffee and I also bake with it in small measures. Let us know if you find a way to make it better though!
