I am back from the store. They do not carry the noddles I guess I am going to have to try other stores. I bought some red, green, yellow and green peppers; pineapple, rasberries, also got salsa planning something mexican soon. Also got some chicken. I also got some pickles you are right 5 cal for one big big pickle. Also got other stuff tuna for salad etc etc. I did good - all good food no junk. Thank God for that. I made it home with no extra goodies to tempt me.

Puddy, ya' know, I think we're gonna make it. You bought the things you and I need to buy. Let's leave the junkfood for someone else. That's just not who we are now. I too bought more pickles today. $14 dollars for 2and1/2 gallons. I don't know if that's good or bad. Also, 2 heads of cabbage, a crock and sea salt. I'm going to attempt to make my own sauerkraut. Also, bought a roto tiller today. Gonna try another garden this year. Planting pickling cucumbers and sweet potatoes, tomatoes, bell peppers, beans and something else I'm sure. I gotta get going. Dear Diary,

Good Friday. On the day of crucifixion A lot happened on this day. Judas identified Jesus to the Romans, the beating with the whips, the same people that welcomed him on palm Sunday is calling for his execution. But what makes me reflect is Peter (The Rock) denies ever knowing this man. It was like he was working undercover. It was ok to follow Jesus, just not in front of everyone. Don't we all, (ME INCLUDED ) do this very same thing ? Don't blow our cover.

Good morning Raven - I so look forward to posting in the morning on this site. It is a life line to sanity in my life. I don't know if you saw my posting yesterday about my brother-in-law but I have to thank you again for your prayers. The tumors in lungs are gone and the brain tumors are smaller. Treatment are now over and he does not go back for two months. Not that it will give him yrs more but it will give him months more and that is all we can ask for right now. Prayer is powerful. Thank you.

Yep, I got your post late last night. I found the power of prayer is real, and when Jesus is with/in us, the people that we pray for, or even ourselves, are stronger. So pleased he is doing better. Praise God.

To be honest, I'd love to learn about the new testament. growing up, i only learned the old one inside and out, but since Zach is Catholic and I'm jewish...we do a lot of religious teaching to one another. I think since Easter is coming up, I shall learn more about it :) HAve a good one raven!!

I started some tomato seeds in the office. Had the grow light like an inch away. They still shot up and wilted back down. So I pulled them up and re-buried them to their little necks. We'll see what happens.

I used to take kickboxing classes, and i'll tell 'ya - the bag was one of the best ways to get that heart rate up. That, and knee jabs. Those were the days. Thanks for the memory, Raven!

I've had good luck with my seeds in the basement, although my light is maybe a few inches away. Everything has sprouted so far - sugar snap peas, beets, spinach and swiss chard. I have a bunch more stuff to get started, need to set up another light.

Some studies show that the skin has the higher concentration of nutrients, while other studies show that the skin contains the highest concentrations of pesticides / chemicals. I don't eat the skins because I just don't like the taste / texture. Congratulations on another weekly loss. Are you planning on keeping your current eating habits or going to modify them soon to something else to just maintain?

Hey, I'm going to try and maintain my eating and exercise, just to get healthier. I thought about eat 2 eggs or something like that. Though, I gotta say, people around me are used to seeing me heavy. Daughter said she didn't recognize at first when I popped in the restaurant where she works. Co-workers say I look ill. Pastor just asked me if I was sick or something ??? You're probably hearing the same from those around you. Have a good one, Pal.

The last time I got down to 190ish my wife did express concerns on getting to low in weight. However she didn't mention thinking that my brothers-in-law were too low in weight and they weighed 10-15 lbs less than that at the time. I think a lot of it has to do with perception and what they associate "your normal" with. I've been mildy overweight for most of my life (more than "mildly" lately), so people expect to see me looking larger than others. Any derivation from their expected perception must mean that something's wrong. The thing is that if you meet someone new who doesn't know that you just lost a lot of weight, they'd think you look normal.

Sweaty ! Ha-ha. I started out to get at least 2min, walk 2min,etc. But then 5min, 10min, 20min. One day last week I even kept it up for 30min. Now my calves are kinda sore. I might not do the stairclimber and jogging in the same day.

OK - what is a bird turd!? Birthday parties can be killers. I am making the treat for an office birthday party next week but the birthday person likes chocolate pie and oddly enough, I don't like chocolate pie, so that is a small blessing! I do like all other kinds of cakes and pies, though......love sweets, but they won't get me to my goal, for sure!

Your popcorn on menu reminded me.......I am going to eat popcorn tonight -- we are planning on a movie. I am gong to stop by Sam Club and purchase Skinny Pop. It is delious and only 40 cal per cup. I will sneak it in the movie (yikes). I would buy, but they do not have healthy alternatives.

I gotta check out the Fit & Active. We have an Aldi close by, but I am not in habit of going. Is it pre-popped or do you hav to pop it yourself? The Skinny Pop is pre-popped, which usually I don't like because it tastes stale, but it is good.
