Healthy menu as usual. I've been trying to up my soups to get my nutrition balanced a bit better. There's tons of ways to work veggies into soup :) Have a good one!

Wonderful menu, so consistent. Isn't it so much easier planning meals when you keep it simple? I should, like umpqua, also incorporate more homemade soups into my days, but I care for soup only at certain times and in short phases.

Woo hoo <whistles>! I knew you were gonna do it, you are a machine! So glad to hear the group has been a help to you. Sounds like you're going to take a break from these parts which I think is good, especially for folks who post every single day! We all need a break from time to time.

I'm just going to speak from my own experience when I say that maintenance is actually the hardest part for me. I've achieved goal time and again and get too comfortable and end up back here. I know that Annie can relate to my struggles...And folks like Maria have been able to stay at goal for long periods of time and still check in here. So just know that we are here for you no matter what :-)

Tested myself, pushed myself. How far could I go jogging? 30min.

To tell you all the truth, I don't know what will happen on the scale tomorrow morning. If I make weight , Great, and i'll keep on going with a goal to be healthy. If I don't make weight, well, i'll keep on going with a goal to be healthy.

If I make weight, I'll celebrate with an extra helping of excersise. If I don't, well, i'll have an extra helping of excersise.

There is really nothing more at this point that I can do.

Well, that's all that's on my mind this morning. Have a healthy day.

Anyway, I've felt sluggish all week. Tired. No get up and go. No pep. No Zing, no Zowey. Not a burning furnace of metabolism. Sometimes I feel like I'm just going through the motions...

But then I log on to the DD website. Suddenly I'm alive again ! Stronger, Slimmer, Sexier. I'm an Animal.

A real Jeckyl&Hyde transformation.

Only 3 days until your weight starts with a "1". I'm feeling worn out this week too. Forced myself to the gym the past three days, am taking today as a rest day, and will re-evaluate how I'm feeling tomorrow. Like you, posting daily on DD definitely keeps me more focused on my goals.

Do you take a multivitamin? It might help to give you some oomph. You could also try logging a day of foods in MyFitnessPal or Fitday - should be easy for you since your diet is so strict. That way you can see the breakdown of vitamins, etc. and make sure nothing is lacking. Just throwing out ideas....Have a good one!

Gallstones, I guess it could be. We had 3 young ladies in our office that had gallbladder surgery in a year and a half period a few years ago. We were all wondering "who's next"! I hope it's nothing serious, of course. She said no pain last night for the first time since last Saturday night.

Dear Diary. Worked overtime, got in a brisk walk. Watched Dr. Oz. With guest Dr. Fuhrman. Good episode.

Read Umpqua's post about planting seeds for this years garden, and It got me to think...what should I be planting this year ? I'm thinking It's the same things I eat, now that I'm a healthy dieter. Tomatoes, beans, cucumbers (for making pickles of course)...not sure what else. Biscotti has got me thinking of sweet potatoes. I think I should plant these and incorporate them into my diet.

Do you have a garden plot? In previous years I've done tomatoes, peppers, peas and beans and herbs in pots on my deck. This year I'm going a little crazy, although not trying potatoes or sweet potatoes. Let me know if you do - I LOVE sweet potatoes!

Yep ! I got a pretty good sized plot. My tiller broke down last year. No saving it. I gotta get another one. I just like putting my toe in the dirt. I looked into the sweet potatoes at the feed store. I'm on a list of people to get slips (starts) when they come in.

My days of planting a garden are over. I go to our local market and it seems almost ridiculous at the prices I can buy it from the farmers at the market. I usually go after Lunch and everybody makes deals because they do not want to bring it back. Great discounts. It is also a nice day out at the market. Unfortunately it is only during summer time. I thought about you a lot last night during my struggles. Have a great day Raven.

I take all the advise I get some days it work and their are days where my mind just drives me crazy. There is one thing I know for sure is that I am determine to get to the end of this journey even if every day is a struggle I will get there. Got my shopping done today things are looking up. Curry is an Indian or Thai dish, mild to hot spicy. Lots of veggies, meat or meat substitute or beans, a sauce. Served on rice. My hubby cooks different ones with different ingredients.

I was just looking up sweet potatoe and it is pretty high in calories 1/2 cup is 170 cal. There are 0 fats if boiled and 40gm carbs but I wonder if they are considered good or bad carbs.

200Lbs. This morning. Did NOT make goal...yet.(Doh) BUT...I lost another pound.(Woo-hoo) So, I'll get to Onderland when It's my time and not before. I'm still keeping my weigh-in on Mondays and won't "peek" through the week.

Had a great weekend. Drank a lot of green tea. It calms me down. Looking forward to more DD Curried Lentils today. Hope everyone had a good weekend too. Have a healthy day.

Weigh-in day tomorrow. I think I still look fat. At this point I'm just hoping I don't gain any and stay close to maintenance mode. Had a real good day yesterday. A LOT of toe tapping going on. Yee-Haw ! Y'all have a healthy day.

You're doing great with menu and workouts. Hang in there. It doesn't happen overnight.

You will start to see noticeable changes eventually, as Annie said. Are you measuring? I find that at a certain point the scale doesn't really tell the story, but losing inches from your whole body sure lets you know something's happening!
