This has been a long week. I feel I am off to an okay start thanks to all of you. I read your stories and do not feel so alone. =) My stress point this week was my furnace. I can do a lot but if I do not know I am supposed to do it HOW do I get it done. My furnace was shutting off because the filters were plugged. I replaced them now that I know they are there. I learned a lot from Robert while he was alive but not enough. Sometimes I feel consumed by this house. On the bright side the internet has lots of help on how to fix stuff =)

Tomorrow I start the food log to see when I am over doing it and with what.... wish me luck =)

Progress as of today: 3.5 lbs lost so far, only 73.5 lbs to go!

 Today I decided I am tired of being fat. Lets call it what it is. I hate to go out in public because I feel like I am being judged just for drinking water (like how dare I when I am fat). I am hoping by being on this page  I will feel like I am not alone and I can vent some of the frustrations that make me feel like eating even when I am not hungry. 

Progress as of today: 3.5 lbs lost so far, only 73.5 lbs to go!

OM - I know how you feel. I feel so guilty when I eat out. I do order salads and try to be good company, but then a photo pops up with me and I absolutely HATE what I see. But for some reason I still don't change. Being on this site has helped me to

A. learn that eating the right foods is the most important thing B. The 'fat' will fall off slowly and surely C. Don't let the scale be your guide - it will disappoint you every day D. Be kind to yourself - everyone here shares , vents, succeeds and stumbles but we are not failures.

Let's do this together!!

Hi and welcome!

I'd suggest writing your food in a little notebook (by hand) for a month or more. It will probably shock you to see what and how you've been eating. It can be just a revealing little exercise to increase mindfulness.

Hi OM! I understand where you are coming from. I've felt that way before, luckily not lately...but I can totally sympathize with you on your feelings and wishes...

I def like what CyberMom had to say in regards to this site. We def all share our hardships as well as successes and everyone here remains supportive. This is a great community. I hope we can help you or at least support you in achieving your goals.
