Good morning

Yesterday was a good day food a little off but it was a celebration - had one glass of wine, one burger, one hot dog, fries and gravy and a sliver of the cheese cake very little piece and did not finish it.  Decided to weight myself this morning and there was no consequences that showed up maybe a delayed surprise is still to come and if not all is good.  It is not as if I do this all the time but it was certainly all good stuff. 

Today is a relax day just a few little things to do before I have company for dinner tomorrow night and that will be better balance since I am the one cooking.  BBQ steak and baked potatoe and large salad definitely on the reasonable side of my eating habits.

Good morning

Yesterday was a great day food and water.  Enjoyed the BBQ.  We did have quite a rain storm later in the day - high winds and very dark skies.

Today is my grandson's birthday party can't believe he is ten years old well actually is birthday is on the 6th but we are doing the party today.  Every year he picks a gift and usually prices being what they are we do a collective contribution and this year it was a mountain bike so we are three on the gift.  He already has it was hard not to give it to him when he pick it out at the store.  He get a card today... lol 

It will be a cloudy/sunny but nice and cool at only 22C/74F perfect weather for the BBQ at their place and especially great that we will be able to be outside and not stuck inside.  We are going to be about 20.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good food and water day.

Today is our celebration of turning 149 years old.  Most of the streets downtown core in our Capital is closed for the big street party and the artist show on Parliament Hill.  It is easier to look at it on the TV than to put yourself in those areas and in the heat of standing around, plus the parking is miles away because of security.  To all our Canadian DDers I would like to wish them a Happy Canada day.  I am certainly a proud Canadian.

 

So my day will be a relax day in my neighbourhood  along with my neighbours we are having a BBQ in the complex.  Since this area I live in we are all new neighbours for the past 3 years it is nice to get together and catch up on what is going on.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day for food and water.

Not much going on here for today.  Need to get out today since all stores will be closed tomorrow for our celebration.  Yes even Walmart... lol  

I am still on my coffee this morning not sure what to take out for dinner unless I pick up something and do a BBQ tonight - yes I think that sounds probably like a good idea. 

Big decision... lol  definitely a big salad as usual.

That is about it for me really a slow, lazy and non eventful day.

oh WOW & LOL...the stores here in the NYC area...NEVER CLOSE! ....and def not for our upcoming 4th of July weekend either. By the way, HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!

yum to your bbq idea. I do love bbq...do you ever bbq peppers?? and other veggies? you can stick them in tin foil...man are they tasty that way!

you have lost just about 10lbs from when you started...that should make you feel successful and proud right?

i love to drink a nice slow drink all morning yes...and also love a big salad.

Yes I do BBQ my Veggies, peppers red yellow and orange plus mushroom and zuchini in a large basket - usually add spices and toss them around a bit... really nice. I do spray them while on the BBQ with a little bit of oil just to make sure they do get those burnt corners. Yes actually feel real good about the 10 pds I lost but probably will be on another plateau now for a few months again. That is ok that is how it works for me. Thanks for the Happy canada day. Good morning

Posted picture of my grandkids.  This was taken upon my return in April from my Winter holiday. 

Yesterday was a good day.  It seems I am back to a stand still with the weight and that is ok it just seems to be the way my journey on this wieght loss works. 

Today I need to get out and get some groceries again.  I am going through vegetables like crazy and the stores are all closed on Friday since it is Canada Day.

 

Will get my stuff done early before it gets to hot and sticky.  Wishing you all a great day.

Good morning

Yesterday was an interesting day.... lol

We did have a lot of fun going out with the kids in the morning.  They are definitely growing up fast.  My granddaughter is definitely trying to make her own fashion statements one hand with red nail polish the other hand bleu nail polish, one food with pink nail polish on toes and the other foot with purple nail polish.... you have to laugh. 

The shopping for grandson's birthday gift also went well.  I have to admit that they are raising them pretty well because they were quite well behaved and of course they know that I do not put up with any BS from them that could have something to do with it.  We have fun but they know where to draw the line with me.  The other grandmother lets them get away with murder but not this one. 

We are having another sticky, muggy, hot day again.  The night does not have a chance of cooling it down since it does not go down much.  Not to complain because it is Summer.

I'm glad you are the more conservative of the grandmas...better for you!!!!! I may have chosen the wrong word to describe it, but you get what i mean!

Yesterday was a good day.

Made a real nice dish for dinner last night tons of veg in a white wine sauce with lingini and crab meat.  Really nice.

This morning off to my babysitting job - playtime with the grandkids.

Going out for breakfast with brother and s-i-l and the kids then shopping for grandson's birthday gift.

Good morning

All is good here food and water.

Yesterday I was so hungry and did I ever go through a lot of vegetable enough that I have to go out and get more today.  It was better to resort to vegetable then to any other temptation that was on my brain during the day.  I really have no idea why I was hungry but I seriously think it was just being bored.  I have not had any activities in the past few days it is just so hot outside that I have been staying in.

Tomorrow I babysit the kids and that will also get me out of the house that is good.

It is more ok to overeat veggies than other temptations. I do this often in order to manage my lower weight. thank gosh for vegetables.

Good morning

Yesterday was another good day food and water.

No loss today but maintained original weight.  That is good did not expect that it would keep going down as fast as it has been in the past week.  My body probably has to adjust to all these losses. 

Got all my errand done yesterday picked up all my veg and protein that I wanted.  The shrimps and scallops and crab were on sale so I stocked up on seafood - I just love it.  It was an expensive day but I have to eat and I might as well eat things that I love, not as if I have to buy for an entire household since I am alone I can allow myself some pleasures.

So few people on the DD lately really miss not hearing from our old members. I know it is Summer and everybody is busy but I still miss the postings.

Another sunny day here and I will have a relax day today.

i feel the same way when i eat...might as well pay more for what i like to eat! :-) everyone must be busy yes. They do come back always though.

have a good day and i hope your body does have an easy time adjusting to the new weight. that's what i'm doing now too! i'm still getting used to mine as really i've only had the lower weight since around March.

Good morning

Yesterday was a great day food, water and my grandson's soccer game we won. 

Again today got on the scale just to see if the 194 was solid and again down 1 more pound.  I am in totally amazed.  Do not know what is going on but I will take it while it is going around.  It is true that I am much more active in the last little while but not excessively.  Must have been all the cheering at my grandson's game.... lol

Today is my grocery errands the house is empty or close to it.  Veg and protein main items on my list.  It seems at one point in the house everything runs out at the same time toilet paper, hand towels, dish soap, laundry soap etc etc etc... all the stuff you need but also the kind of stuff that raised the bill at the cashout counter.  I will stock up and then will not have to do it again for quite a while.

We are having another beautiful sunny day but a little cooler.  It was down right cold at the soccer game last night the cloudy and breezy evening was cool thank God I had brought my blanky with me.

Veg and protein will also help the weight go down...and adding in activity is key...it's amazing how easy it can be to maintain / lose with activity.

J. its not like I am gungoh on exercise and my activities are probably nothing that builds up much of a sweat... lol but it is just being active and getting out and doing things. I have never done the exercise stuff just not me. It works for me so that is good.

yep, i do not really do much cardio actually...only the weights. but whenever i increase my cardio or move around doing things more, i do notice it's so much easier to keep weight off :-)

If you are active in your day...cardio is overrated!
