Good afternoon

It has been a very good past few days on food and water.

I do not have much on my schedule for the next few days just my regular routine and also a few things for my trip it is really getting closer now to departure time.

Sunday I am going out for dinner with a friend and my brother and S-I-L.  Our last outing before xmas and my leaving we will celebrate.

Congrats on doing well, especially this month. Me too – I’m making it a positive end to the year also. I had a goal of 3 days / week exercise for each week this month and this week I am taking a day off. Like you said (I think you said it to Ohio), as long as we are staying in the positive overall – that’s what really matters. Not if we miss a day here or there or don’t do as well as we’d like here or there – it’s the overall positive and motivated attempt we’ve made throughout the entire month (not just one week or day!) that matters. Yes – getting ready for a trip is definitely important you don’t wanna forget anything! I hate a rushed packing job. (which for me it pretty much always is haha) What kind of food will you be having for dinner? Do they order same types of food as you? When I go out with friends / family, I tend to usually order something different comparatively. I tend to order extra veggies whenever I can – except when going on dates as I am not always eager to eat extra EXTRA fiber if I’m nervous and anxious on a date! Haha…. Enjoy the celebration of your departure with family. Sounds like you have such a sweet, close-knit one.

We are probably going to have the platter for two which is a mixture of pork, beef, chicken, shrimps veg, rice, potatoes, salad and some peper gravy and garlic butter. That is usually what we order when we go there. The best on the menu.

Good morning

All is good at this end as far as food and water.

Having company over for dinner tonight - healthy pork tenderloin kabobs with peppers and onions on a bed rice.  I will also have a salad.  Maybe add a glass of white wine with that would be nice.  Nothing over the top.

I hope it was a great night with company :) The kabobs sound soooo good. So healthy.!! and love peppers and onions - such a nice sautee or grill combo! And salad. If I was your company, I'd be loving it. And pork a nice change of pace from beef or chicken.

Good morning

Yesterday was a perfect day food and water.

Laundry day got to get moving and make choices for my packing but I seem to be putting it off to the last minute again.  I am so bad at that but thank God for my list is done. 

That is about all I plan to do today is laundry and keeping on track.  Tomorrow a little more busy with groceries and a coffee date tomorrow night.  Should be fun to get out of the house have not been out in a little while.

Laundry day feels so nice when it's OVER!!! or rather, when it's still the day, laundry is done, and nothing's in the hamper! haha.

I hate doing laundry last minute too..ugh. and packing...ah, forget about it...I can't pack from crappp.

Have a great coffee date tomorrow evening. Always nice to get out of the house when you've been in for a bit. enjoy!

Yes I could buy it if I forget - especially since I am gone for the entire Winter I would have to buy it.... not like having to do without for just a few weeks.

Good afternoon to all

Yesterday and days before have been good for food and water,

Had company yesterday but not for a meal nice to have people over especially at this time of the year and also that I am leaving soon getting my visit done.

Today again not much taking a break inbetween visits.  My busiest days will be after xmas to my departure date it will be condensing everything into 5 days of so.  I do have a list and that will save me making sure I don't forget anything. 

Apart from that not much else going on.

You are doing great. I'm always enjoying reading your diary - you are always seeing friends / family & traveling. I love it! Nice job sticking to healthy food & water. Nicely done.

Also, I just grabbed a look at your chart. I know you are talking about a plateau and all. I hope you are proud of yourself for your major accomplishment so far. Sometimes for me, in order to continue, my mind has to be in it. I have to feel comfortable with making the real change. For me, this means lower calories than i'm used to - if I really want to lose weight.

for a long time, I thought it wasn't possible...to lower the calories and be able to accomplish the weightloss - but it is. Because, as i'm sure you know, everything is possible if we want it badly enough!

For me, in order to eat the lower calories and also my other higher calories, I rely a ton on eating vegetables. They are filling & I can have a ton...suggestion to you...I eat way more veggies than the typical person...and it really helps me get a handle on lowering the calories.

I have given myself another year to loose the 25 pounds left and if it take longer so be it. I am also working on maintenance at the same time and incorporating a normal life style with friends and family. That is how I did it last time before my injury and maintained my weight for 12 years. I am using that as a model for this time around. Thanks for the advise everything helps.

Yesterday was good food and water intake also good.  Great company for dinner.

It was a late evening so today I am going to relax and keep my day open to whatever comes up.

The salmon turned out very good and really tasty.   It is so nice to cook for others.

Good morning

Yesterday was another good day food and water.

Down 1lb finally the scale has move a little.  I seem to be more on the maintenance then loosing but at one point it slows down I guess but as long as I don't gain I am happy with that and keep trying to loose a little bit more eventually I will get there.  Maintenance is very important to me and that is working out right now.

Company coming tomorrow for dinner and salmon filet are on the menu with stir fry vegs and a salad no desert.  It will be a healthy menu.

Congrats on the lb down. My scale also shows something good going on - even if not a full pound I'll take it!! yay.

Yes, maintenance is so important. At least it means you can actually maintain the lower weight, you know!? I always appreciate maintenance.

stir fry veggies i'd take any day. lucky company!!!

you can always have fruit for dessert if you must give them something - maybe strawberries or something....

and salmon is soooo healthy. lucky lucky company!

Good afternoon

My food and water are on track nothing to worry about.

Not much going on here my cold is much better but still not doing much just making sure I totally get rid of it.  Did not go to my son's for the putting up of he xmas tree did not want to give them my cold.  I did go out for breakfast with brother and s-i-l and my friend on Monday.  Having company over on Saturday.  Getting some stuff done for my departure eventhought is only in about 3 weeks but do not want to rush at last minute.

Yesterday was another good day food and water.

I have slight cold but nothing too serious.  It is the damn cold sore that is the worst. 

No big plan for today was suppose to go to my son for the putting up of the xmas tree but since I have a cold I decided not to go give them my germs.  I still have to decide what to eat today but it will be nothing too much because I am not really hungry will probably be catching up on sleep more than anything else.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day food and water.

Still maintianing which I am happy about and it seems that December will be again a maintenance months.  I think that once I am away for the Winter I will be able to concentrate more on the loosing then the maintenance since I will have no relatives around to entertain or go out with breakfast and dinner with.  It will be more suitable to loosing weight then maintenance. 

Anyway stuff to do today - I have to go to post office and send some stuff to S.C. to the owner of the condo and that is a priority right now.
