I have not been on in the past little while but no problem my food is good and my water is consistent.

I have just been  busy with appointments with my son and also the health condition of my brother so just taking a break.  Hope you guys are all doing good and I will try to post more often.

Good afternoon

Yesterday was a perfect food and water day.

Busy day today finished my grocery list and I am all stocked up and even picked up all my stuff I need for my xmas dinner.  I am glad all of that is done and I did pick up on a lot of sales and that is always a good thing.  Those dinner get to be expensive after a while. 

Tomorrow my brother and S-I-L and my friend are coming over for dinner so I am planning a simple dinner do not have to worry about sweets because the 3 of them are diabetic 2 not the insulin injection type so they tend to behave when it comes with their eating and that is good for me also.  I can plan a low carb, no sweets - real safe zone for me.

That is about all for today time to relax a little.

ummm, you picked up everything for Christmas already!? wow...I guess you must mean decorations, plates, napkins & other non-food items?

I hope you had a great rest of the day & time with family. I'm sure the dinner menu was tasty and healthy. what was on the menu? lately, I see such cool things posted on the internet - people making tortillas from a cauliflower base! amazing. I need more time for these things. Maybe during time off down the road for the holidays i'll be able to make something - even if it's only veggies. Maybe i'll finally roast some.

Good morning

Yesterday my food and water was good.

Got all my stuff done yesterday and things went reasonably well. 

Today is just regular house work and getting my laundry done before the weekend.  I am planning to do some cooking tomorrow so that I have some stuff stocked up and ready instead of having to decide every day what will be on the menu for the next day.  I always work better when things are organized and there is not too much thinking about food.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day food and water.

I have to bring my son to a dr. appointment today.  They are now down to one car and it is causing some problems when it come to appointments.  They are planning to get another one but they are shopping around for a second hand SUV but in the meantime I am a little bit of a taxi when they need it. 

Apart from that not much else on my to do list for today.  Just making sure I stay on track and be good to myself.

Good morning

I was a bad girl yesterday and had some pizza but my water was good.

Today back on track well at least not going to be that bad for sure.  Once in a while you just have to let loose a little and satisfy your craving.  I have that out of the way now. 

I did not go out yesterday so today I have to go out and get some stuff for the house and the cupboards that is probably why I ordered in yesterday.  We are having a beautiful sunny day I am sure our days are numbered as to the beautiful weather we have been having.

Good morning to all

The weekend was good food was not too off since I had only brought enough and all healthy stuff but did have some wine.

No more cottage till next year now.  I am now onto my next adventure - xmas period then off for the Winter to warm temperatures. 

I am taking today off to just get a little organized at the house and do a little bit of shopping.

Good afternoon.

Yesterday was perfect food and water.

Going off to the cottage tomorrow and this time we are closing it down on Monday.  We have been blessed with a mild fall but for sure the snow time is just around the corner and it would be safer to close it down now instead of having surprises with a snow storm.

I have planned all the meals for the cottage and since I am bringing up only what is on those meals there is no chance of cheating since the food will not be there to cheat with.  We are both being concious about our food and that works definitely to my advantage.

Food has been good and water also.

My next two days are busy with babysitting my grand kids.  Taking them out for breakfast this morning with my brother and s-i-l.  I thought I would fit them into my Monday routine and my brother is looking forward to seeing them again eventhough we get together on a regular basis he always gets a great laugh out of them.  My brother and s-i-l have no kids so for them everything they do is cute.....  I don't always think the same way they do.... lol...lol....

Good morning

Yesterday I was off again on food but water was good.

I must figure out my trigger that got me started yesterday but the scale was still good this morning so no harm done thank God for that.

Planning a pampering day for myself.  Definitely a me day.  The weather is great again might just get out and do some walking in the neighbourhood just to get some fresh air and get out.

Not much else going on here.  I am so looking forward to my departure for the Winter I think that is putting me down into a funk.  I have never been good at waiting.

Enjoy your day. Sometimes, we cannot even figure out our specific triggers. Sometimes it's a friend or therapist or just takes time in general to really understand our own selves and what's truly going on...

For me...my binge / food stuff is definitely emotional. But...when I actually finally put my finger on why I do it - well - it was just a couple months ago! therapist helped me figure it out completely.

When I overeat, I become NUMB. I get extremely lazy of course...because i'm so full...but...overeating numbed my mind - helped me forget...it's like i'm taking medicine to just escape everything when I would overeat. All negative feelings, I forget...all worries, momentarily forgotten...too full and full of sugar to worry about anything for the moment...but it helps nothing in actuality.
