Good morning guys

Yesterday was super good food and water.

I woke up this morning feeling like I had loss weight so I decided to get on the scale and was totally amazed - "219" a 3lb drop.  Now I did post it because it felt good but will reweight myself tomorrow to see if it will hold.  How is that I was just talking about it yesterday.  Maybe all the cough syrop and the rest of the stuff I had to put into my body for the past little while is out now and I can be back to old self.

Today I need to get out and get some stuff my cupboards are getting empty again.

The water situation is getting a little bit better but still a struggle it seems water is more of a problem for me then the food right now. 

Anyway guys that is it for me for today - wishing you all the best.

Good morning all

Yesterday was good food and water.

My son came over yesterday and got me some flowers since I was sick  on Mother's day .  A beautiful basket to be kept outside and will last all Summer. 

I have to get my act together for this month now and would definitely like to hit the 219 but time is running out especially with the terrible month I have had.  I will see what I can do to turn this around.  I am quite happy with my present state because no gain really occurred. It is time to move on.

I totally agree Raven just a bummer I had to catch a cold I felt I was on a roll with each month. It is just a bump in the road. I refuse to let this discourage me.

Good morning all

Yesterday was good food and water was excellent.

I made the right choices yesterday and enjoyed my dinner out.  I managed to maintain my weight and now that I am feeling much better hopefully I will start the scale going down again.  I am not disappointed at all since it has been a difficult month. So back to business. 

Today I have a few appointments one with my insurance guys and then it will be a regular day.

Good morning all

Yesterday was challenging food and water was very good 7 glasses.  Hope I can keep the water at that level - now that is wishful thinking. LOL 

Today going out for dinner - took a look at the menu on the net and have already made up my menu for tonight.  Feels safe and I have already told my brother that I will not be taking any wine so they are going to bring only what they want.  This restaurant around here and a few others is a place where you bring your own wine it is an interesting concept and it work very well.

Good morning to all

Yesterday was a good day for food but water a little low again 4 glasses.

I so have to get back to drinking my water. 

We are having a cloudy/rainy day again.  Will have to get out today getting a little bit of cabin fever.  The past few weeks have been more inside then out and it is starting to have an effect on me.  I also have to pick up some veg.   The tomatoes are absolute wonderful lately around here.  I love them. 

Tomorrow going out for dinner with brother and S-I-L.  They feel I have been in for too long and think I should get out now that I am feeling better.  I agreed but I still don't always taste what I eat.  Well at least I taste for a few bites and then not and then it comes back again.  I figure once my sinus is back to normal all my taste buds will be back.  I will appreciate getting out of the house and actually being around human being . lol

Good morning all

Yesterday was good with food but water was low again.

I am feeling better a little bit every day.  Got all my errands run yesterday.  That really felt good to be getting my stuff done.  I have to admit that I did feel a little exhausted after that.

I have got to come up with some new idea for cooking - after a while I don't know what to cook anymore.  Of course it does not help having to cook only for one you get no input as to what would be good to have  for a change.  The other side of that is that I might be tempted to try all sorts of new things that might become a trigger.  Oh well it is what it is.

I have been a subscriber to Cooking Light magazine for years now. Even if I just leaf through it I get ideas about all sorts of stuff. Most of their recipes are online too so you can check them out. They even provide sample menus for the week with complete shopping lists!

Good morning all

Yesterday was back to normal food on track and water a little low.

I decided to weight myself today and it was one pound up but not too bad considering the almost two weeks of being off and taking some medication and eating whatever I could put my hand on with no effort because I had no energy to cook for myself. 

I am feeling better again and I keep climbing the hill to feeling completetly better.  I still have a little bit left of this cold but nothing like before.  Hopefully by the end of the week it will all be gone but for now it is ok.

I do have to go and get some stuff for the house today and a few other errands.

Good morning all

Today is such a better day then yesterday.  Finally my lungs have started clearing up and my sinus is getting real good.  I can feel a great improvement this morning of course I had a  11 hour sleep last night. 

I am taking one more day to concentrate on this cold and then have to start getting back to my routine.  I don't enjoy being off my routine.  My month of May will be definitely one of my slowest one on record but when you are sick that comes first.  I have decided to weight myself  next week.  I don't feel that I have gained simply because it is not as if I have had the greatest apetite in the past 2 weeks.

I want to thank you for all your kind comment in the past few weeks.  Nice to have somebody to vent to when we are not feeling well.

Good morning

I definitely feel that I am on the mend.  A little bit better then yesteday.  This is the only time I feel my age is when I get sick with something.  It is true that I have no patience with sickness when it comes to myself.  I am patient with others when they are sick around me but so very little patience with myself. 

I know I am on my way up the hill now.  A few more days of doing exactly what I am now doing which is about NOTHING and some rest and all will be back to normal.  By the end of the week sounds like a great time for me to expect to be back on my feet.
