Good morning DD members

Yesterday as another excellent day.

My food and water was great.  I have that same feeling today again of having loss weight and the scale is just tempting me to get on but I have to resist this.  I use to weigh myself 3 or 4 time a day a long time ago and it was an obsession and I do not want to go back to that because it has a negative effect on my day if things were not what I wanted.  I have learned my lesson with the scale but I am looking forward to Sunday and my weigh-in.

I accomplish some stuff yesterday but just a few things.  Actually there are only little things to do now anyway.  

I got a call yesterday from the owner of the condo that I rent during the Winter and he told me that the condo was not rented for the week before New Years and if I wanted to come down early I could - no charge.  He is such a nice guy and I have gotten to know him over the years.  So I will be away 14 weeks this years - great to get away from this snow and cold weather.

We are having some sunshine today debating whether  I should go out and pick up a few thing I need for next week but still a little bit too early to pick up the stuff for xmas day. I do need to get other stuff so I might just wonder off to the store today.

Good morning all

Yesterday was excellent food and water.

I accomplished more stuff yesterday got my bathroom stuff packed well it is in my little suitace and it will sit on my counter till I leave.  I rather be going in and out of the suitcase then forget something in packing it at the last minute. 

I had a real good night of sleep and woke up feeling like I had dropped some weight.  I would love to get on the scale but I have to resist that compulsive - on/off of getting on the scale all the time.  I will know soon enough in about 3 days or so.

Another snow/rainy/cloudy day - it will be so nice to see some sun.  It will be another day of being a shutin not worth going out in this weather plus I really do not need to get anything at the store.  My food supply is getting low but ok still for a few day.  

I am noticing some drastic changes in my eating - my body as started telling me when I am full and I even have set aside my plate with leftovers.  That is definitely new for me.  It is a wonderful feeling to push my plate away.  For normal people they would not understand what I am talking about but for a compulsive overeater this is a miracle.  My head sometimes tells me (the little devil in there) just a few more bite and it will be finished or dont waste food.  I was raised to finish everything on my plate and I am sure that a lot of us where raised that way.  I actually feel a little sick to my stomach if I overeat right night so I know I have cross the line.  It is a learning curve but one that I am happy learn from.

that's a fantastic feeling to be full and quit before the plate is empty. It's such a great feeling! I am not a compulsive eater, but tended to clean my plate even when i was full. Its a big deal to be able to hear what our bodies tell us :) You're doing great.

Good morning all

Yesterday was excellent again food and water.

I am so proud of my day yesterday accomplished a lot of stuff again.  Got all my laundry done and put away.  I also got my suitcase packed just a few last minute things that will have to be packed in it.  I am putting my bathroom scale in the suitcase.  I will feel safer if I have the scale with me and I know that there is no scale in the condo where I rent.  I am sure not too many people travel with a scale LOL LOL. 

Today I will attempt again to do a few more things on my list of todo list. 

We are having freezing rain today for weather here.  I will not attempt to go anywhere.  It really feels like Winter now with all the different unpleasant weather we are having.

You are absolutely right to pack the scale! Very good strategy!! Have a great time, but know "where you are" all the time as far as weight goes.

This way you can plan, track, enjoy without "being in the dark".

Good morning everyone

Yesterday was a perfect day food and water.  I had one of those days where I just was too busy and really not hungry. 

I am hoping today to get my laundry done and start packing my suitcases.  I really have to get my act together.  I did accomplish some of the things on my list yesterday but eventhough they were important things that had to be done like my health travel insurance and other paperwork the list still seems quite long.  I figure I will get it all done like I always do eventually.  Everything will fall in place.

In the past when things got a little bit out of hand I use to binge eat.  I am finding this not to be the case lately.  I attribute it to the absence of my sugar intake.  Sugar always makes me hungrier and opens up the bottomless pit.  I have also notice that my body is telling me I am full now where before my head would block that out and I would just shove it in till the bag, pot, dish or anything was all gone.  That was my way of knowing I was full.  I really do not miss the feeling of being stuff to the point of feeling sick.  

I am not saying I don't have my weaknesses I do but my safeguard is just not keeping anything and I mean anything real interesting in my cupboards.  It is a abnormal way of having to live but the alternative is far more devastating to my health.

Well I am rambling on this morning.  Up real early today had a hard time sleeping and I know that I will be due for a nap later this morning if I want to get through the day and accomplish something.

It's a big deal to not want to binge on the sugar. I try and safeguard myself by reminding me that punishing myself with food is not a reward, and I am not the one who deserves to be punished for whatever the stressful situation is. Sorry, that didn't really come out right, but you get what I mean. Anyway, congrats!

Good morning all

Yesterday was an excellent day food and water.

This will be a real short post have a lot to do this week I have left a little bit too much to do at the last minute with my guest coming for xmas and my leaving for Winter.

Today was weigh-in and the scale stayed the same and that is ok because last week was such a drop.  This might me a new way my body is doing things now but that is ok as long as I stay on track and the scale at one point keeps going down.  I call that success.

Ok got to go have a great day.  I might not be commenting too much on all the posting in the next few day.

Good morning

Yesterday good food and water.

Up real early but was in bed real early last night.  I did not have my little nap in the pm so just went to bed early plus there was nothing interesting on TV last night.

Today is a must to go out and get some stuff done because they are calling again for snow/freezing rain.  I hate having to schedule my errands around this weather.  That is my main beef with Winter not just going out whenever I feel like it. 

My cupboard is getting empty again - stock up for another 4 or 5 day. 

I can feel my bones getting a little bit of pain due to the weather - I can now tell when the weather will change because of my joints. LOL  The joys of getting older.

Good morning all

Yesterday food was so so  and water was perfect.

I just was hungry yesterday so I did eat more then I usually do but my body was hungry and since my body has been telling me lately when I am hungry and not eating when it is not I decided to give it some food.  No regrets.  Everything has a meaning and I was not going to go against it.  Since I have no bad food in the house it got good food and not junk.

Well that is about all to report for today.  No big plan.  Wishing you all a great weekend.

Today is my outing day and errands and yes it is snowing a little bit again but nothing as compaired to yesterday.

Good morning from Winter Wonderland

 

Yesterday was a good day food and water - being consistent and very greatful for that.

Had to go out early this morning to clean off my car while they where cleaning the parking lot because the alternative would be probably getting stuck in the bank they leave behind my car.  I had about a foot of snow on top of my car UNREAL.  It is quite mild and the snow has stopped but expecting maybe another inch or so today reasonable amount LOL.  If my golf club could speak they would probably be wondering why the hell am I in your trunk have you not seen the weather lady LOL LOL.  They are getting restless and so am I. 

No big plan for today but tomorrow have to go out and pick up my turkey and do the last of my grocery list for xmas.  I still have to pick up two extra things for my grandkids and then it will be all done.  Two week today is xmas getting close now. 

Today will be normal eating for me nothing special my regular protein, veg and some carb or as I call it the routine.

Good afternoon all

Yesterday was good food and water.

We are having such a storm this just reinforced my desire to leave. 

I had my lasagna and that was good and my soup yesterday.  Today not too sure about my food plan, but since I have nothing else in the house but what I am suppose to eat and I have no trigger foods in the house and outside is the storm from hell I do not think that making a choice in the food category will be a problem because I have no bad options in the house and I am not going out.

Today just relax day. Wishing you all a great day.
