Good morning All


Yesterday Food was good and water was good.

I really do not have much to post today.  I have decided to leave my meals as I have been having them and not play with my routine.  This seems to be working for me and will revisit it if my situation changes.  I have given myself a full year and more to loose my weight so it is not has if I have to make drastic choices or panic at this stage.

I agree,if that schedule is working, keep at it. I think a year+ is a realistic plan, too. I gave myself 18 months. If it happens faster, goody, but that is the plan :)

Good morning guys

Yesterday was good for food but water was low 5 glasses.

I am trying to convert my routine to having my largest meal at lunch and a smaller meal for my supper.  The problem I have noticed with doing that is that in the evening I get hungry and it is a struggle.  Does anybody have any comments on this?

Having the bigger meal in the middle of the day helps me work it off instead of having it for supper and then a few hours later going to bed. 

Apart from this all is working out fine.  I really do not have too much to complain about except that white stuff that is on the ground.  The sun is out and I am hoping that it will melt it all off but the possibility of that is not good because it is so cold today.

That is a tough one. My only defense against evening hunger has been to just go to bed, but that doesn't help much, does it? I also try and stay busy with my knitting, since I can't eat and knit at the same time. Also going for a walk helped, but not so much this time of year! Maybe you could save a little bit of dinner - a piece of fruit, etc., for that night-time hunger? Don't know. Maybe someone else has a good suggestion.

I have tried this several times in the past... but I struggle too because my downfall is night time snacking. I think lots of water is helpful and a lot of people say eating half a cup of cottage cheese before bed actually helps you lose weight because it's a very slowly digested protein.

The way you've been eating has taken you this far--not sure why you'd want to risk being hungry at this point.

Hunger just means you need to eat. Perhaps you're not eating enough overall.

Hope you figure out what will work for you!

Good morning all

Yesterday was good food and water.

Yesterday was weigh-in but I was at my son's place so this morning was weigh-in time.  I have remained the same thank God for that.  The past week has been challenging just hoping this week will be better. 

We got snow overnight not tons but a dusting - I am so looking forward to packing my bags and leaving for the warm climat.  6 weeks away.  I was hoping snow would not come till xmas eve.  LOL 

I was suppose to go out today but will wait till tomorrow when the sun is suppose to be out.  Also I dont feel like cleaning off my car and digging out my Winter boots yet.

maintaining is excellent! ugh, now I have to go find my winter boots, too....Thankfully there's less than an inch on my car...I too was hoping it would hold off until Christmas Eve, but does this mean we'll at least have a white Christmas?

Maintaining can be just as hard as losing! So that's awesome!! As much as a hate driving in the snow, I've always found it so pretty.

Good afternoon guys

Yesterday was much better food was good and water was excellent.  I guess I am back on track.  Glad I got that out of my system.  I think that sometimes we just have to cut loose in order to find our way back to sanity.  I have to admit that I did not get the guilt trip I usually get because I knew it was just a temporary escape from my routine but I have also to admit that doing this is a gamble. 

I did get out yesterday wooow it really felt good.  The cabin fever has passed.  My next project is getting my condo cleaned up.  I think that when everything become a routine something suffers and in my case probably caused me to feel slightly depressed and everything around me suffered.  I will not do everything at once I will take one room at a time and give myself the gift of having accomplished something everyday.

I hear that. My house is suffering because I'm obsessing on loosing weight and spending a lot of free time reading weight loss related material on line. I hope I can manage to at least get the front two rooms back in shape this weekend. Hope you have a successful weekend.

Good morning guys

Yesterday was not perfect and water was low.  Just one of those days.  It must have been a day where things just get off on the wrong foot and I am ok with that as long as today I fall back onto my feet and get back to my regular routine.  I am prepared to accept those day and I am sure we all have these day and I actually think it is my body saying give me something good today LOL LOL. 

Back to the routine.  I dont think it will cause any big problem with my wiegh-in and if it does it wont be a big deal.  I am in my weel 15 and things are good up to now.  I am no ready to throw all of that way.

Yesterday was good food and water average 7 glasses.

I did not go out yesterday but today is the day.  There is nothing left in the house it is go out or not eat or order in.  Order in is not an option too many options on the menu there.

I slept in real late today.  It did feel real good I rarely do this but when I do it is as if I am catching up eventhough I know if there is one thing you cannot catch-up on is sleep.  I must have been tired.

This is about it for me no problem at this end all is good.

Yesterday was good and water was real good 9 glasses.

Today is very nice sunny but cool.  Great day to get out and get some stuff done.  I did not go out yesterday the weather was not the greatest. 

I need to do some groceries again and pick up some interesting stuff but not triger food.  The list of trigger food is longer then the list of food I can eat and not want to finish it all off.  I think if I stay out of the middle of the store and just do the around stuff I can get everything I need without all the prepared food.  It is tempting sometimes to just open a can or get something already done and frozen then to do it from scratch.

Yesterday was a little off on the food but not crazy off and my water was good 8 glasses.

I have to get out today going a little bit cabin fever.  It is getting real cool and makes me feel like I dont want to get dress and go out. 

I also have to do some house cleaning - dust bunnies LOL.  I dont know where the dust comes from I live alone and there is nobody else to dirty the house and yet it is a regular every 3rd day this dust seems to reappear.  LOL

Anyway it will keep me busy for today -  A small outing and a bit of housework should get me out of my cabin fever mode.

Good morning guys

Yesterday was real good food and water 7 glasses.

Today was my weigh-in and my scale was down 2 pds.  I did not believe it at first so waited a little and got back on and yes it read the same.  It is a little bit of a shocker.  Hoping it is a solid 258 - time will tell.  Next week will be the true verdict if it stays or not.  Two pounds is a lot at this stage for a weekly loss.  I am much more comfortable with one pound loss a week.  Anyway I will definitely take it.

Today is going to be another rainy/snowy day.  Yes you hear right and along with that a cold sore.  Every year at beginning of Winter I get a cold sore and then at the end of Winter I get another one.  It must have to do with the change of weather if not I dont know why.

I loss more last week and yet I was out for breakfast and I had people over for dinner so my routine was a little bit off and yet the results where fantastic.

Haircuts are def the best...feels so good especially the first week you get one :)

As long as you are putting the effort into weight loss, and try to eat moderately at get-togethers and events, you will be successful! that's why you are.

because I cannot be active at all right now, listening to my PT and trying to eliminate all pain before starting any exercise at all, I feel that IF is the only way for me to go.

I have to admit that I really do not do exercise except hse work or running my errands and stuff like that. I still don't trust my knee since my injury.

Frankly I think your weight loss is good for where you're coming from. It can just be sooo hard to wrap our brains around the change. In fact, I think it can be a little traumatic for some of us. The uncertainty of if we'll keep it off and all that jazz. Just keep being nice to yourself and keep your head in the game.

We may have snow by the weekend. Highly unusual if it pans out. But it'll be near 80F tomorrow.

I was coming down my stepladder and instead of turning my body I turned my knee. I still get a a twing once in a while and I know what that mean be careful.
