Good morning

Yesterday was a good food day.

Another beautiful fall day.  It seems that the trees are thinking about changing their colour but have not quite made up their minds yet but definitely there is a fading of their colour.  Soon the hill of Gatineau will be multi colour and gorgeous.

I am expecting a call from a good old friend. 

Food today is to be determined but it will be my regular healthy eating habit.

Fall temps here - but leaves don't promise much this year. It's been so dry brown leaves are already falling off and the grass is pretty brown, too. We'll see if it gets better.

Yesterday was good but could have been better.

Out today with brother regular Monday breakfast.

No big plan apart from that just getting some stuff done around the house again.  I am planning on making my soup today when I get back.  I always love to keep some in the fridge.

yes...always good to have veggies on hand...when i don't have any cooked veggies in my fridge...i have a LOT more trouble staying on track i've realized. it's almost a MUST for me in order to stay on track...

bad days can be fixed / averaged out :)

Yesterday was a good day.

Today going out for lunch with friend and also going to one of our local cheese factory to pick up some cheese.  Nice sunny but cool day - definitely a light jacket day.

No jacket needed here - Whew! 90+ degrees still in KY. We are getting a cool down on Tuesday, though - Fall is coming!

Good morning

I am back to my routine as of today.  The weekend was definitely a challenge but the worst part was actually have wine and drinks not the food.  Since I enjoy my ceasor drink it is the high salt content of the clamatoe juice that kills me.  I definitely have water retention right now but that will wear off in the next few days. 

It was great weather at the lake and also being unplugged for the full weekend not even cell phone accessibility.  wow

Up early this morning and I have my cabbage soup already all done and it will cook for a good part of the morning and that will be my fall back to food.  The rest of the food for today is to be determined since I have to get some groceries done.

Did do a lot of walking at the lake but it was leisure walks nothing very serious but I guess it all adds up in the end.   My s-i-l has a dog so we took the dog for long walks.

The leaves have not started to change yet but probably soon since the weather is getting cooler.

Yea, I find that if I drink any alcohol I lose any willpower and eat more, plus the calories in the alcohol.

i also notice salt retention in myself these days - when i consume a lot of salt i am definitely swollen in the AM...which makes sense why my pants were tight today...had a lot of salted / vinegared veggies last night from Subway (i am sure you know the restaurant). was good though - especially after sweating at the gym.

Good morning

Yesterday another good day.

Hockey game was great they did not win but I can sure see the improvement and abilities he has developed since his last season.  Looking at him play you can see the love he has for the game and the effort he puts into playing as hard as he can.  Just too cute to look at this little guys. Sometimes they look a little bit like Bamby on the ice and then back up and at it again. Anyway as a grandma I could go on and on and on but that will be the end of my reporting on the game.... lol  

Food was good was a little hungry in the evening and decided to have a cup of broth and that did the trick just before I went to bed.

This morning is regular Monday get together with brother and s-i-l breakfast.  Tomorrow I leave for the cottage for 3 days that will fun probably a little of indulgence in the mix there but that is ok everything else is on track will just cope with it at that time and upon my return.

Food today to be determined.

Good morning

Yesterday another good day.

Going to my grandson's first hockey game today.  A little colder then going to his soccer game.  Going to go freeze my ass on the arena bench... lol that is ok I get to see only a few of his games since I am away during the real important games later on.  Always enjoy giving him the support of having extra people cheering him on.

Food plan for today undetermined as of yet but will be reasonable.

Good afternoon

Yesterday was a good day food and water.

Today rainy day and since I knew this I slept in till 9:00am wow that is really late for me but felt good when I got up definitely will not need a afternoon nap today. 

Food for today not too sure yet but there will be a salad, probably some of my soup and of course protein somewhere in there either with soup or with salad.  Easy stuff.  I really try not to concentrate on what I eat all the time as I did before.  It is simply the fact of providing my body with food and good food and filling food.  Very important to me is that it taste good and that my taste buds are pleased with the outcome of whatever I make then I do not miss all of the old trigger foods.

Well that is enough about my day - wishing you all a great day enjoy.

Yes, it is very important to me that I enjoy what I eat so that I don't go in search of fulfilling foods later. I try not to obsess over every little piece of food, too. Got keep it simple for me!

Good morning

Yesterday was another good day.

Breakfast out was good ordered my regular breakfast egg/bacon.  Got back around 2:00 so did not get hungry again till about 8:00 and since I had started in my slow cooker my cabbage soup before leaving in the morning I had a 2 cups of soup in the evening (always use a cup for my soups find it easier to handle then a bowl)... lol  no spills in the living room.

Today back to my regular routine and will probably have more of my soup and cook some porc tenderloin for my protein will be good with the soup mixture.  If I have anything else maybe a salad it is definitely to be determined for the rest of the day.

We are having a beautiful sunny but cool day - ideal Fall day.  Really enjoy this weather.

Next week I have decided to go out to the cottage for a few days now that will be a challenge because I will probably have a few drinks... a few... lol  When I get together with my S-I-L we always over indulge her with her martini and me with my ceaser.... lol what the hell we only live once... lol

I like to eat soup in a big cup with a handle - it's really a bowl with a handle - I guess it's a soup mug kind of thing. Enjoy you time out with SIL.

yes i like indulging too...but seem to mostly regret it? i think when i drink...i eat too much more!? lol...yes, sometimes it worth the indulgence especially when we balance it out throughout the week.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day.

Going out for brunch today so up early so that I can take my time with my coffee and do my posting.  I hate to rush in the morning.

Yesterday I used up the rest of the cauliflower rice that I had made and turned it into chicken fried rice had not made it in a long time.  I cooked some chicken and put that in it also and I always use the low sodium soya sauce so no effect on swelling which I usually get if I eat too salty one of the reason why I do not salt anything.  It turned out exactly like my mom's use to turn out but she used real rice.  My recipe is the low calorie substitute with the cauliflower.  So I got my vegetables, my protein and did not do any harm to my routine.  Later in the day early evening had a little hunger time and made myself a salad with shreded cheese and nuts and that got me through the evening.  Overall it was a great day.

That is about all that is going on for me - cool day - long pants to go out today.  Wishing you all a great day.
