Good morning guys

Yesterday was a little bit challenging my food is off slightly accroding to me but probably not according to anybody else my calories where a little bit higher than I usually have but my water was even better then I usually have 10 glasses.

I wish I had a reason why I got hungry yesterday but I will not spend extra energy trying to figure that out or play any guilt game with my head.

Have quite a bit to do today - weekend is getting close and if I do not want to leave everything to the last minutes and then have panic attacks and feel totally tired by the time my guess walk in.  

So I hope you all have a wonderful day and I hope that I will be able to get my stuff done and ease my mind.

Good morning all

Yesterday was good again Food and Water.  I am grateful.

Not much to report today.  I have some work to do in the house and some prep work for the weekend.  Will be storing stuff in the freezer as soon as I can after it has cooled down.  Remove all temptation is the name of the game. 

We have been having soo many good blogs lately on this site. The older members on the site certainly have a lot of wisdom to offer especially for some of us that have been around the block a few time.  Sometimes it is the smallest comments that give us the encouragement to go on that we need.  For this I am grateful.

Hi Fran! glad to see you are doing well. removing temptation helps so much. I try to keep lots of vegetables in my fridge. and when I know it's low on them, I look forward to getting back to the food store to replenish. it's one of my main ways of staying on track!

Good morning guys

Yesterday was another perfect day food and water.

I am so grateful.  Life is being good to me.  Today I need to get out and start doing the shopping for my weekend birthday party for my sister-in-law.  Will need to do some cooking and baking.  Baking will be done only on Saturday morning do not trust myself with that cake in the house.  It is better to be safe then sorry.  The main meal will be lasagna - galic bread - a ceasor salad.  That is a safe meal for me.  Leftover will leave with the guests.  Definitely the cake will not remain in the house.  Eventhough I have not had sugars for a while I do not want to tempt myself. 

So that is my plan for today.  I am hoping to keep myself on track again today.

Good morning guys

Yesterday was perfect food and water.

I had my wiegh-in this morning and did not believe it so I decided I would have my coffee and reweigh myself and I was not imagining it.  I am down 3 pds.  I am as suprised as anybody else.  It is a lot for one week.  I would understand it if it were the first or second week of being on my plan but in week 12 it is unusual for me.  It is what it is.  I will be reweighing myself later this week 30th October so that I can have a monthly number to compare to the other months.  It is my system and how I look at it.

I was so touched by some of the postings yesterday.  There are a lot of wonderful people on this site that are struggling with all different issues and that makes me feel like I am at the right place.  We all have friends that will listen and go along and be patient with us but some of them cannot understand our struggles because they are Normal people.  They are good friends but cannot really understand how we are wired.  We are just different and that is not a bad thing it is what makes us. 

I am grateful to be here and I wish you all a great week.

I have done that also simply because I felt that if I told somebody it might just work against me and I would fail again. I am really glad you are on this site.

Good Afternoon Guys

Yesterday was perfect food and water.


It is so nice to have a perfect days there was no craving and I actually did not even feel hungry at all all day.  I had my meal but it was because I knew I had to have food and I knew that I did not want my body to feel it was being starved.  It is definitely a gift to have a day like that you know the "Normal feeling".  I dont get this too often. 

Got up real early this morning and decided to go back to bed and I just got up now.  This will disrupt my night today just to be expected I guess. 

Not doing anything today major relax day.  Tomorrow is weigh-in day.  We will see what that give.

I've had the no cravings days more often when I stay away from sugar & flour and watch my carbs. It does take some planning.

Good morning guys

All was good yesterday food and water.

I really don't have too much going on today.  I am just going to keep on doing what I am doing.  Monday is weight in but I will also be weighing in again just before the end of the month - just for the monthly total. 

I am hoping by the time I leave for the Winter I will be close to 250 that would be really nice.  I know that is a lot to ask in 2 1/2 months.  I did say close to 250.  I am actually debating bringing my scale this Winter on hollidays.  I know that is a little bit radical but I will be away over 3 months time and not weighing myself at all is a little bit scary.  You guys have any opinion on this.

As I've said on other posts, I think goals are good, even if we don't reach them, we make progress. If it were me, I'd bring the scale, but that's just me. I think I would worry more if I didn't weigh for 3 months. Have a great Saturday

Good morning guys

Yesterday was good food and water.

It might be unusual to say this but it seem to be getting easier and maybe that is just a period of grace that I am having.  I really don't care what it is but it feel good not to have that constant worry or craving.  The biggest one was the sugars but I am finding that at this time I don't get those anymore.  I actually feel unusual when I do have some sugar like the pumkin pie I had at thanksgiving I did not want to have a second piece or even eat the entire pie.  

Today will be a normal day not much going on. Got my errands done yesterday and I am good now for another 4 days.  I am working on planning my next cheat (on a low calorie budget).  I actually enjoy figuring out how I will do it and how can I get away with it with the least calories.  This allows me to look forward to something plus challenge me to use my creativity in getting it to be as good as I can make it.  In the meantime it helps me to be abstinent of all the other craving I might be thinking about.

Studies have shown that sugar is more addictive than cocaine ... so yes once you finally kick that sugar habit it's amazing how much you just don't think about it or miss it! Keep it up!!

I found the same with sugar - if I avoid it, it actually doesn't make me feel that good anymore when I do have it. Congrats on conquering the cravings, that's awesome! )

Good morning guys

Yesterday was good food and water on track.

Got an e-mail today and found out that one of my girlfriends is taking her retirement early.  We are getting together at the end of November to celebrate.  We are 5 regular friends that have been together for about 25 years and we are going to be 3 retired now.  It will be nice.  She also will be leave at the same time as me for Winter and will be able to visit her while I am away. 

Today I do have to go out the house getting pretty empty of food.  Tomorrow I go for coffee with my son since he is still working out of his home because of his shingles.  He is feeling better now and it has started to dry up a bit. 

Apart from that all is good and I wish you all a great day.

Hi guys

Yesterday was good I did have my little pizza (personal pizza size) and the rest of my regular food.  Water was a little bit short 4 glasses but did have a pop with my pizza.  This was all planned just did not want to end up craving this and order a large and eat it.  I gave myself a smaller portion of it and now I move on.


Went to be late and I was up early which ended up with me going back to bed this morning and I just got up now.  It is a unusual day.  So now I will start and have my coffee and get some stuff done in here.

Good morning guys

Yesterday food good and water good.

I started my week 12 on the right foot and all went well.  I always get a little bit scared that after I weigh myself and I get a loss I will start thinking I can reward myself and that is usually food.  I did not do that and I am very happy I did not.  The first day after weigh-in is the worst.

I should go out today but I am getting a little bit lazy lately.  It must be because the weather is just not too encouraging.  Cloudy and rain.  I seem to find an excuse for just not going out and rain is a good enough excuse.  LOL

Hopefully I will get out - I did do some housework but that does not count for exercise or anything else but having a clean house.
