Good morning

Water was good yesterday 8 glasses - well at least more than the day before -  Food was good also.

Accomplish what I had to do yesterday and definitely had a well deserved long nap in the afternoon.

Today will be a slower day.  I thought today was going to be a me me day but still have a few little things to do but not much.  I do have to go out and get some groceries.  I promise myself that Sunday will be my relax day.

Apart from that not much else new.  We are having beautiful weather.

sometimes we need days to relax! i find myself sometimes yearning for one. for me, this weekend we definitely be slower than the past one. I will do the same next week :-D

Good morning

Water was low 7 glasses - food was ok did not concentrate too much on scheduled meals.  Odd day.  I did not overdo but really a weird day.

I had a banana early in the day and then later I had my cereal with yogurt and then in the evening while I was to tired to cook so I had tomatoe soup with crackers for dinner.   Not conventional eating but it was OK. 

Let me tell you about my day.  The guys came in at 8:00 am to put in the window.  I had already removed all the curtains and blinds.  They were really good about covering up the floor and cleaning up after themselves.  I never thought that it would create so much fine dust with the cutting on the frame to make everything fit.   So by the time they left I had a fine dust all over.  I love open concept areas except when it comes to doing work because it all gets dirty.  I was so dead tired I when to bed early and now I am up early - I will have my coffee and start cleaning again.  Now this is the final mile - no more renovations.  The people that will buy this place will have nothing to do unless they do not like the colour of the new paint.   I hate being so picky in the details that I drive myself crazy but I cannot put up with looking at something day in  day out if it stands out as not right.  Of course it is probably just not right to my eyes only as I have been told several times.  LOL 

Well that is about it for me for today.  Will try to eat better today and drink more water.

Ok, Puddy. I'll try to do better on my water cause you told me to. This "Foraging" thing is something that is keeping me interested in what I eat and to keep losing weight and to eat, well, healthier. Give me a French word to look up.

Good morning guys

Water low again 7glasses and food good.

This will be a fast post today. I found out yesterday around 4pm that they are coming today to put in my new livingroom picture window.  I am looking forward to seeing that all done.  Another thing done on the house after today.

Good morning

Water low again about 7 or 8 glasses.  Food was good yesterday.

I certainly did not loose much in  April - totally flat month.  No ups no downs.  Just one of those months.  I hope that the month of May will be more productive.  I am not going to stress about it because it is just one month out of the rest of my life.  I think that eventually if I keep doing what I am doing it will just start going down again.   It is definitely a healthier way of living.  I am not looking at this as if it is a race - if I do it becomes a diet and not a life choice.

I made my favorite dish yesterday and now I have food for the next two days.  I enjoy my cabbage dish.

We have sunshine - yesterday was suppose to be rain - well we did get a little bit of rain but it turned sunny in the PM.  Today the sun is shining and it will be in the 60s today.   I think that Spring/Summer might just be getting here finally.

Mornin, Puddy. I didn't get any DDcabbage yesterday, but I have some frozen and in the fridge. I hear you loud and clear on this lifestyle thing. I think I'm finally embracing it, now that I have gardening and foraging. I'm putting dandelion flowers and wild onions in my soup every week now. On a sadder note, I just found out my LOL has a brother in Chicago who just died of brain cancer. I thought of your Brother in Law and prayed again for the Holy Spirit to be with Him, you and your family. I hope everything is good with you. Take care Puddy.

Good morning

Water low again 7 glasses.  Food was real good yesterday.

Rain rain rainy day.  It is foggy I can't even see the trees in the front of my livingroom window.

I woke up hungry this morning so I started with a banana with my coffee.  It did the trick.  Usually not that hungry early in the morning.  I did go to bed early last night so that could have something to do with it.  Anyway hoping for another good day and also hoping my water will be back up at least 8 glasses.

Not much planned for today a few little things around the house and that is it.

Making my Puddy dish today.

- canned tomatoes(diced/stewed/whole) which ever you want. - precooked meat of your choice. -onion -peppers/red/green/yellow/orange whichever one you want -cauliflower -shredded cabbage -whatever other veg you want to put in there. - cover let it simmer until cabbage steamed and veg are all cooked You can add whatever seasoning you want

Good morning all

Water 8 glasses - food was good.

Weigh-in - up .1 go figure considering the work I did last week.   It probably has a lot to do with not having a real routine.  Food and water - low water some days and food a little bit off.  It is also not good when you forget to eat and then have a late meal because you have been working all day and then go to bed. 

My goal for this week is to stick to my routine - food and water and see what next weigh-in does.  April has been a really unusual month wieght wise. 

In May I plan a little trip to Ottawa to see my son - that could be tricky but I think I have learned a few things in the past few months that will get me through that time.

.1 is not much at all. Basically you just stayed the same. I take all my scale readings with a grain of salt - fluid is tricky.

Enjoy the trip to see your son. I'm visiting my family in Michigan in June/July. Miss my granddaughters although we Skype often, not the same though.

I've always associated out of town trips with food. While I tend to go overboard with eating on trips, it's actually the before and after that really hurts me. My vacation eating usually starts a couple days before the actual trip and usually lasts for several days after returning.

Good Morning all

Water was good yesterday 9 glasses and food a little bit off.

Tomorrow is weigh-in day.  I dont feel as if I lost anything eventhough I have been working hard in the house on all my odd jobs. 

We are having a wonderful sunny day probably up to 70 today.  I should not get too excited - rain for the next 4 days but mild.  Summer must be around the corner. 

Yesterday I had a real relax day - pampered myself.

Today do grocery  for next week.

So that is about all that is going on today for me.  Hope you all have a great day.

Good morning

Water was low again 7 maybe 8 glasses not to sure.  Food was good.

Well got so much done yesterday.  I just kept a normal pace do stuff/take a break.  I only have 3 more things to do on my list (small stuff).  It sure does feel good.  It is a good thing something feels good because my body is telling me 'GIRL ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF'  LOL LOL  I do have aches and pains today but I am taking a day off - will soak in the tub and pamper myself for today.  Actually I think I will take the weekend off.  It is weird to say that when you dont work anymore because everyday is a weekend.  LOL

We are having a beautiful sunny but cool day today.  Tomorrow rain.  It is nice to see the sun.  

Well I will talk to you guys tomorrow.  Hoping you all have a wonderful day.

Good Monring

Water was low 7 glasses and my food a little bit off.

I have not been taking the time to concentrate on my water and food as much lately.  I am concentrating too much on getting my work done.  By the time it is time for me to cook I dont put as much heart into preparing my food.  It is temporary.  Not to worry.  Right now the work has to get done and the rest will fall into place. 

I got so much done yesterday it was amazing.  Although the work is done in phases it is all taking shape.  I might not be able to do it as fast but everything is good.  Today will be another day of getting things done.  My list is getting shorter. 

Today I will do better on making myself good meals and on time and make sure I will drink all my water.  It is hard to explain but I dont feel as well when I dont drink my water and have healthy food.  The grab on the run kind of food just does not do it for me anymore.  I have to feel that I have had a meal or I feel empty.  I dont want to go back to 10 meals a day.  There is a lot to be said about keeping a routine.  

We got another snow storm yesterday and it lasted for two hours solid heavy snow fall - big snowflakes.  Of course it did not stay on the ground too long but it was discouraging to see it fall.  There was a substantial accumulation on my car again.  Today is rain.  Please Summer come.

I don't have a problem with water intake - this, normally when I work out. I do have on Sundays though. And thirst can be so easily mistaken with hunger!!!

There's a lot of satisfaction on getting your work done on time! I am drinking water right now - still building up, but more than ever before already! I wanted a diet coke with my lunch - mexican food - but I resisted! I know what you mean when you said you don't feel as well when you aren't drinking water and eating healthy. It is so true! Sorry for more snow, I guess - spoke to someone yesterday at work who was in Northern Minnesota and he said Sunday they got 11 inches more of snow!

Good morning

Water good 8 glasses and food on track.

Yesterday was busy eventhough I said I would keep it on the slow and low labour.  My body is failing me.  I hate working the way I have to work.  I do stuff and have to take a break for 30 minutes then do more work and take another break.  I must have gone up and down on my stepladder at least 50 time yesterday - at least.  I am not good with heights so I am real careful and also real careful because that is how I injured my knee.  Got a lot done and today will get more done on the slow and low labour schedule of mine.  

I am 60 yrs old never had to go to the hospital except for the birth of my son - my health has been great - I take absolutely no medication for anything.  Last year really did me in with my knee injury.  I  know I should be greatful about being healthy for so long but but but I really have no patience with my body not  being able to do what I could do just a year or so ago.  Anyway I am just venting.

No need to apologize... that's what we're here for... to listen. You're definitely lucky to not have injured yourself to this point, and I know it's frustrating to be limited by your own body... but just take your time so you can come back strong.
