Good morning

Water was good yesterday but ordered in pizza was way to tired to cook anything.  No big deal.

I feel like 100 today.  I have to touch up my crown molding with the white paint and clean and put everything back together.  I woke up with lower back pain and my knee is acting up.  I will take everything slow and easy and if it takes me a week to finish this off or even two weeks so be it.  I really do not want to  hurt my knee again.  It will never be the way it was before.  I cannot push it.

Good morning

Water low yesterday 7 glasses but food was excellent.

Today is a busy day.  Expecting the painter will be here in about one hour.  My place looks like such a mess again.  I put it together and take it down and then start all over again when something else has to be done.  Nice this is the last thing that has to be done.  Finally........ thank God.

This is about all I have for today.  Will catch up with you later or if too busy tomorrow.  I wish you all a great day.  Probably will not get to all your posts today.  Will do that tomorrow or in the next few days.

the wall are a dark taupy grey and the crown molding is white and the ceiling is a lighter grey - real nice effect on the rooms LR DR Kitchen walls and ceilings. It really looks nice with my cherry wood floors.

Good morning all

My water was real good and actually lost track of how many I had but way over 8 glasses.  My food is on track and seems to be easy right now.  With all that said my scale refuses to move.  I have decided to just keep on doing what I am doing since I am not overdoing in any way.  I will stare the scale down until it decided to start going down again.  THE STARE  lol lol.

The 240s are giving me a hard time but I will not let them win - eventually if I keep doing the right thing it can do nothing else then go down.  Determination.   I know I am not doing anything wrong so it is just a phase where my body is taking a break and I can respect that.  

So today is another busy day - did not get as much as I wanted to get done yesterday and thats ok.  It all has to be done for tomorrow because the painter is in tomorrow.  I always work better with a deadline.  Starting week 15.

Give that scales 'the look' and keep on going! You are RIGHT, science will win out and you will have a loss if you do not lose heart and keep doing what you are doing! Go, Puddles! It is funny - I haven't been thinking about food/exercise, if I lose or gain for a couple - 3 days or so and this morning I put on my same old pants (which had been a bit tight in the waist and through the hips and they are very comfortably loose. Even when I got to work and sat down. Same thing with a fitted shirt-blouse that I am wearing today - sometime I swear if I just relax a bit and do the right things, but don't think about it so much my body decides to relase some pounds when I am not looking - LOL! Hang in there! You are doing great! 31 lbs in 14 weeks - WOW!

Good morning

water back up to 10 glasses - food on track but had more protein then I had planned for on my plan. 

I had a toss and turn night.  Tried 3 times to go to bed and had no success.  I finally decided to stay off the last time at 6:00 a.m.  I will plan a nap later on.  Just one of those nights.  I have no big plans for today. 

We have sunshine today - still cool/cold but no snow or rain for a few days. 

This week will be busy.  Tomorrow I have to take down all my stuff on the walls and put all my furniture in the middle in the living room because the painter is coming in to do my ceilings in living/dining room and kitchen.   I will only have to replace the ceiling fan and finally put it back together and another job will be finished and getting closer to the "for sale sign".   The people buying the place will have nothing to do - unless they do not like the colour then that will be their problem not mine.  I have picked a modern but neutral colour. 

That is about all for me for today on my posting.  I hope you all have a great Sunday.

Good morning all

My water is good 8 glasses hoping to bring it up and my food is right on track.

Woke up to a snow storm and they are cleaning out our parking lot of snow.  I will be staying in today.  I refuse to clean that car off one more time.

Apart from that everything is good.  Dont have much to say today but if I get something else later I will post.

Actually it has been a very unusual Winter. I am just about one hour north of the Michigan border so you would know what northern Michigan is like. Just one of those years. Global warming is a farce.

Good morning all

Yesterday was a very good day 8 glasses of water a little low and my food was right on.

I am having a wonderful week - feeling real good and now if only the weather could co-operate that  would just make it absolutely perfect.  Expecting snow/rain mixture today. 

My food is basically about the same - cereal/fruit/yogurt - main dish for L/D will be lots of veg and one protein and probably in some kind of tomatoe sauce.  I enjoy keeping it simple.  Boring cooking for one.

Thank you Raven. I really have been feeling as if I am totally back on track. Hoping for a great Monday morning weigh-in. Now that would be the ultimate feel good. I do feel I have been on some kind of a plateau and fell I might just have broken through this week.

I got 5 prescriptions . Cough syrup, Zpak, an inhaler, Singulair, and something called Medrol. Hope to get back to "Normal" again soon. Thanks for your concern, Puddy.

Good morning

Water good only 8 glasses and food on track.

Up early again - went to bed early enough but could not get a full night of sleep - will probably have to go for a nap later this morning.  I really hate having to get my night of sleep in two phases.  If I could just put up with a little bit of toss and turn maybe I would fall back asleep but it so frustrates me to have to do that  and it just makes it worst.

Yesterday was a real good day.  Did my walking exercise but got only 12 minutes not so good but much better than nothing and also did my arm exercise and still can't bet to 5 minutes on the 7 minutes vedio.  I have a hard time doing 4 minutes.  It will all work out eventually.  Just keep on doing it.

So we are expecting another storm could either be rain or snow.  It would be a stay in day but I have to go pick up my income tax form from the accountants office and have them send it off.  Of course still owe some this year.  I really dont understand this - when I was working I never paid any now that I am retired I pay every year.  I really think that when you retire you should be exempt of having to owe taxes at the end of each year because your salary is less.  I dont mind paying my part but honestly - dont have enough deductions I guess.  I am too healthy - no medication to declare.  I take no medication at all so that really is good and bad.  Good health wise but bad income tax wise. 

Anyway I have done my b**ching for the day.  Hope you all have great day and I will post later if anything else major happens.

Good morning

Water on track only 8 glasses and food on track.

Yesterday was a little bit unusual - I was tired in the afternoon so I decided to have a nap and when I got up I was just so sick to my stomach.  I was not able to keep food down - now that is really rare for me. LOL   I had a good night of sleep and this morning seems to be Ok.  I have to admit my stomach is not to solid it seems it could go either way. Good or Bad.  Coffee seems to be staying down so that is good.

We are having a mild not hot sunny day.  Maybe today is the day that Spring kicks in. LOL  I have no plans for today will just play it by ear and see how I feel and how it goes.

My food ressembles a lot like yesterday as far as for my daily menu.

Good morning all

Up real early this morning could not sleep anymore.  Water on track 9 glasses.  Food yesterday was perfect.

I went to bed slightly hungry with funny noise in my tummy.  I did fall asleep but not a restful sleep and now up early but not hungry. 

Basically my food for today will be very similar to yesterday.

B -Cereal Granola 2/3 C with milk

snack Yogurt and fruit (if I am hungry)

Lunch and Dinner - Veg mixture of some kind including of course my tomatoes and cabbage and Beef for protein. 

evening Snack yogurt and fruit (if I am hungry)

My meals might seem boring to some but since I live alone and can eat whatever I like and not have to worry about other's taste buds it makes it easy to have the same thing for Lunch and Supper.  My fridge is like a veg. market.

My stomach was "off" last night too and I don't feel like eating this morning.....weird - hope it passes soon. Hang in there - good looking food if you ask me - I love tomatoes, ground beef and cabbage. tasty. I make a soup with that stuff in it - also light red kidney beans and it has chili seasoning.....cumin, onions, cilanatro, etc.

Sorry to report that my weigh-in nothing came off but nothing went on.  Really wonder what is going on.  

This week is week 14 and we will see what happens.  A new start and a new beginning.

As per Raven's request here is my menu for today:

B - Granola cereal 2/3 cup and Yogurt 1/2 cup

L/S -  same thing for both - MY DD cabbage (cabbage/red pepper/onions/green beans/yellow beans/1can stewed tomatoes/2/3 cup rice/6oz beef)

Evening snack - 1/2 c yogurt and Pinapples.

I love that DD cabbage thing and make it at least 4 to 5 times a week vary the meat part with ch. pork or beef and also vary the veg but always have cabbage and tomatoes.

Have you tried "interval calories?" Perhaps some more protein would be good. But yes, I agree, your food looks good.

Yes I have and I really do not put any limit on protein because I usually use the leanest meat - ch or shrimps yes beef and pork but also the fish - I do not think the protein is causing the problem. I sure get enough of that.
