Okay, one pound down but I'm not bragging, I wasn't even trying. So far, no exercise, until.....this morning. I got up and walked 30 minutes on my treadmill. Anyway, it's a start. And I will try to eat right today. If I play my cards right, I can get into the 170's by next Monday. That's the plan, Stan! I'm going to get in some weights today also. So I will keep you posted with my progress. I'm surprised they even still let me in here, I've been such a bad weight-loser. Anyway, I hate this being fat thing and I'm going to fight it from here on out. I'm mad as heck and I'm not going to take it anymore, heh! See you soon. Hope you're all doing fantastic. I plan to check back in later.

A pound lost is a pound lost and NOT gained so you're going in the right direction! Good for you for doing the treadmill. That's great, too, that you have a specific goal for next week. I hope that keeps your motivation strong and food healthy! I DO know what you mean re: being mad as heck! Sometimes I need to get mad to get off my butt! Have a great day!

Whoa! Time to regroup and get back at it, huh? Soonie is out of control! I had some things come up that really stressed me out, but that's all over and now I think I can forge ahead with this weightloss thing. I know, there are no real excuses but those are mine anyway, heh. I need to get into a structured exercise routine again for sure. Anyway, today----no McD's. That has been a real downfall for me lately. So addictive. I still ate too many calories but at least some of that was a diet dinner from Lean Cuisine. Baby steps. I'm going to try some treadmill walking later. It's been a long time so we'll see what happens. Comments are welcome and sorely needed. I know I don't deserve them but I'll work on it. Hope you're all doing well.

Soooo, I'm just kind of bouncing around the 180 mark right now. A couple of days ago, I was at 179.8. But at least, I'm not going up and up. I'm trying but not really hard. No exercise of any kind and I really need that. No one has commented here so I guess no one is interested. But I'm here for myself anyway. I'll let you know if there is any progress, if anyone cares. Hope you're all doing well.

I care Soonie!! Even if I am not able to comment on everyone's diary it doesnt mean that I don't care.

I hope you find the inspiration to try harder on becoming healthier because you owe it to yourself to be the best you can be. Are you able to go walking or bowling? If so, you should start with those. Find a supportive friend or relative to do activities together. Once you get into that habit, start making healthier choices with food. You can do it Soonie. You've done it before and you can do it again. Now lets get moving!!! :)

An exercise regime is equally important to a healthly diet. Start off slow and then build it up. Try doing a little of cardio and strengh training. Good luck.

OMG, I missed my 10 year anniversary at the DD yesterday!! Yep, 10 years I've been a member of the Diet Diaries! I am the number one worst dieter in history! Okay, I've been down and I've been up, right now I'm in the up catagory. I went as low as 143, I think, back in 2001 and now I'm at my highest here. Actually, I've been up to 200 but that was before I found the DD. I'm sorry I don't have more good news but at least I've stuck it out for the long run. Today marks another start-over. I didn't weigh but I'm sure I'm over 180 somewhere. I'll try to remember to weigh tomorrow morning. HAPPY EASTER, everyone!

Patience, I need to have patience. Patience is a virtue, isn't that what they say? Anyway....I just went out for a quick walk, it's supposed to rain any minute, but my left leg wouldn't let me put much weight on it so I turned around and came back. I am so mad! I did try but I got half way down the street and said this is ridiculous! I had thought maybe it would go away if I just walked but not to be. So here I am. Fuming. I hate when my body fails me and it does that a lot lately. Maybe I will try some exercise later, I don't know. This leg thing has been going on for quite some time now. A certain way I move and it's out. If I sit for awhile it usually goes away. Oh, well. Good thing I still don't have my car, I can't head out for fast food, my usual comfort when I'm down. Okay, I'm going to go watch the pro-bowling on TV now. You all have a great day!

So sorry about your leg,,,I frequently experience the same problems. with my legs too. At lease you tried to get some activity in. Try not to push yourself or feel bad about the situation, aches and pains are usually temporary, soon you'll be right back in step, so keep taking good care of yourself. Enjoy your week to come. New weight. Or, wait, wasn't I that weight not too long ago? Okay, there it is again. This time I will keep it off and keep going down!! Next goal---175! I just finished a 2 mile walk, 64 degrees and that sun is HAWT!! I did 2 miles yesterday also. I think rain is supposed to move in tomorrow night so I hope I get another walk in tomorrow. Anyway, there is still the treadmill and my rebounder and stationary bike, but I like walking outside best, not so boring. I just know it would be so much better if I had a walking buddy though. I used to walk with my neighbor back in Ohio and we would talk and walk for miles!! Such fun! Anyway, I'm still enjoying my Shape-ups. They are so comfortable and they're supposed to give you better posture and work your legs more aaaaand burn more calories. I don't know about all that, I just like them. Best walking shoes I've ever had. Okay, I'm going to go watch Wednesday's American Idol. I always record it because hubby works at night and he wants to see it too. It's the only show we watch together. It also makes it nice to cut out all those commercials! We watched Tuesday's before I went for my walk. Hope you're having a good day!

Okay, back out of the 180's, just a tad. I hope not to see them ever again. I do have a lot of stress in my life right now though. But I'm working on it. I walked 1 1/2 miles on Wednesday, no exercise yesterday and I'm heading out for a walk soon. The weather is great, sunny, 56 degrees right now but it's only 10:40am. I can't go anywhere today, my car is in the shop. I was checking my online credit card statement and you should have seen all the McD's and Wendy's on there! That must stop! I really didn't realize I went there that often. I must do better now. So I have a few things to do around the house and then I will head out for my walk. Must do some weights later too. I have found I can't do the crunches because of my back but I will do some kind of modified stomach thing, even if it's only pulling it in and holding it for a number of times. It's out of control!! My stomach is my worst area and I hate it! Have I mentioned that I don't bowl anymore either? I hate that too. Bowling was the only thing I could do well! But, alas, my back problem just won't allow it. And now I have this thing where my left leg wants to go out on me sometimes too. I'll tell you, getting old isn't for sissies! Hang in there and have a great day!

Fast food is my downfall too. I drive by a Jack-in-the-Box every day after work. I used to frequent it often, but no more. Congrats on the weight loss and good luck!

I know the feeling about fast food. I used to love it. I am stay home mom but everytime I would pick up my daughter from school or take her to a ballet lesson, I must have past a least 4- 5 resturants. Hang in there. You're doing great and continue to squeeze in those workouts. Keep up the good work.

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down! Ha! Here, today, it is both. Although right now I see the sun trying to peek out. We have had a lot of rain though. Anyway, I did get my 2 mile walk in yesterday outside. It was cloudy and 58 degrees with some wind so I wore a hoody and capris instead of my usual shorts and t-shirt. Calories were low, under 1100. I think I only lost a little because of Saturday evening's small binge. I knew it would show up. But at least I'm still down minutely. I don't know, I may take the day off. I just got up from a nap. The cloudy skies and rain effect me that way and I was so tired. So I gave in to it. Eating is okay though. Banana Weight Control oatmeal with a handful of fresh blueberries and green tea with honey for brekky so far. Time for lunch now. Have a great day!
