Whoopee!! *doing the happy dance all over the place* 2.4 lost this week. It really works to keep off the scale all week. What a surprise! I know, I still have a long way to go but at least my hard work has paid off this week. So now I must keep it up!

I've already done my walk on the treadmill this morning---just 1.5 miles. I thought I'd give myself a small rest today but I still did something! Yesterday was a good day all around---25 points and the bowling in the morning, then I did 2 miles on the treadmill after we got home. We bowled 3 games and DH won 2. He's really getting good. But it was fun.

So that's all the news here. It's hot, hot, hot, about 102 degrees today. But the humidity is only about 10%. I have lots of work to do today so I will keep busy. I hope you all have a great Friday. And now we'll return to our regularly scheduled program. Hehe! See ya tomorrow!

Okay, things are still going well here for me. I didn't exercise yesterday morning but.....I did get on the treadmill in the afternoon and really pushed myself---3 miles! Amazing what you can do if you really push yourself. And I was kinda p.o'd at the time, that helps. My eating was pretty good too, although I have no idea how many points I had for the day. And I did have that donut from WalMart! And I enjoyed every bite! In my car where no one could see me so, really, it doesn't count, does it? haha! Then, for lunch, I had a good size bowl of Raisin Bran Crunch cereal with a small banana. Then a few tortilla chips and one of those Slim Fast Optima snack bars. Found out after I had bought them that they have just as much sugar as the granola Dipps bars I love, even though they say 40% less sugar. Less than what, is what I say! So I did not weigh, measure or figure out the points for any of it. Although I think with the 3 mile walk I didn't really go over on points. Tomorrow.....weigh day!!

So this morning we're going bowling again. Then I don't know what. I hope to have the ambition to do another 3 mile walk later too. So that's my day.

I hope you're all having as much fun as I am, haha! Keep truckin' and stay strong. 5 more days til summer, are you ready?! And I have 7 1/2 months to get skinny before we go to Maui. That's when I'll be getting my tattoo and navel ring, haha! See ya tomorrow!

I really like the optima bars. Then someone clued me in on the sugar. Sigh. My cursed sweet tooth.

Ssshhhh... I had a doughnut today too. I thought it was better than having NO breakfast at all.

Happy Hump Day!! Things are going well here for me. Yesterday I had 28 points which is about 1400 calories. So did well there. I walked 2 miles on the treadmill and that's about it for the exercise. And I don't feel any thinner either. I'll get on the scale on Friday morning and we'll see what has happened. I hope it's good. But I feel like maybe I'm having too much to eat every day. I'd like to stay below 25 points but not doing that so far.

I slept in and took the day off from exercise today. Some times you just feel in a rut, ya know. Tomorrow will be bowling, I guess. Maybe I'll get on the recumbant bike later today. And I need to do the crunches and arm exercises again.

The weather here is hot, hot, hot! But I guess it's like that almost every where right now. At least our humidity is only about 12% right now. You know---it's a dry heat! That's what they say, heh. I need to go out later to WalMart and Linens and Things for a few things. I know it will be hot and I'll have to park way out in the lot but I feel pretty good today so I can do it, haha! And I can hear the donuts calling me already, sheesh! Ya think maybe one wouldn't be too bad? I know, I just have to resist them. Waaaah!

Okay, I hope you're all having a great day so far. I'll be back later to read entries. Lately I've been here in the late afternoon and reading them all and commenting some, I'm sorry if I haven't commented on all the entries but just know that I've been there, reading. Hey there! I swear, when I read your comment "Success comes in cans . . . " I immediately pictured a can of Instant Success sitting on the supermarket shelf! Maybe it would be right next to the cans of peaches and pears?! I'm gonna try to remember that comment, though, and remind myself that I CAN do this. (If my efforts fail, would you consider marketing the cans of Instant Success? LOL)

Hope you are having a wonderful summer. It has been pretty hot here. We will be in the upper 70's, mind you I am in Alaska. LOL Boy sometimes I wish I had a AC. Are the comments broken? I haven't had any for days. Guess y'all just don't like me, sigh. Hahaha! Just kidding. I'm always surprised when I do get comments. Okay, how are things going around here today? I'm up and ready to hit that dreadmill thing.

Yesterday was another good day. Oh, goody, 3 good days in a row! I had about 28 points. I say "about" cause I had a cobb salad (hold the bleu cheese, avacado and bacon) for lunch out and I don't know how many points it and the dressing had. So I just counted it at 10. My exercise was bowling in the morning (DH won 2 out of the 3 games, he's getting gooder, haha) and we took a half hour walk last night just as the sun was going down. So all in all, it was a good day! Hah!

Nothing else to say today. Guess I'll go get started. Remember one day at a time and sometimes just one minute at a time. Stay strong and have a great day. I'll see ya tomorrow!

Its been kinda quiet the last few days around here. Everyday, I take the time to read everybody's diary, because I feel I can learn something from everyone. Even though I may not leave a comment, please know that you all are in my heart. :o)

You are right though. If taking it day by day seems too much, it is better to take it one minute at a time.

Can we talk about avocado? I love avocado. It has to be good for us. Fat grown from the earth? My cobb salad has to have bleu cheese, avocado and chicken. I love cobb salad.

Quickie this morning! Hi, how's it going? I'm doing good. Had a good day yesterday---26 points and 2 miles on the treadmill. But the rest of the day was pretty lazy. I even took a 3 hour nap! So this morning the DH and I are going bowling again. That will be my exercise for the day. May get out in the pool later for some sun or maybe ride the recumbant bike. Just gotta keep busy so I don't think about eating. DH asked me if I wanted to go for pancakes this morning and I said NO!! How about that?! So I'm just going to go fix my usual brekky now---low-sugar oatmeal, english muffin with sf jelly and a cup of green tea with a smidge of honey. Love that breakfast! Okay, get out there and have a great day. I'll see ya tomorrow!

Good morning! How is everyone doing this morning? I'm doing great! I'm up and ready to get on the treadmill again. It feels like I just did that, heh. The days go too fast!

Yesterday was a good day. I kept track of the points and the calories---25 points and 1291 calories. So if you do the formula, 1 point = 50 calories, it comes up 1250 calories so it's not really that close. Anyway I had a good day. My exercise was 2 miles of walking on the treadmill. Then I ate brekky, colored my hair, washed and dryed it and headed out to the second-hand store and Target. Shopped for awhile, then came home and had lunch. Then I started my laundry and cleaned the kitchen. Anyway, I had a real busy day. We watched "White Noise" last night. It was really creepy! But left me with a lot of unanswered questions. I don't care for movies that make you use your own mind to figure it out, humph! But I guess it was good anyway.

Okay, off to the dreadmill! I'm really hungry this morning so brekky will be good. But, first, the walk. I've been having trouble with my right heel but it doesn't seem to bother me when walking on the treadmill so that's good. I hope it stays that way. Have a good Sunday and I'll see ya tomorrow!

Happy Saturday morning to everyone!! I'm up (it's 7:47am here) and all ready to tackle the treadmill. How's your day going? I'm planning on having a better day than yesterday, that's for sure. And I'm going to try counting calories AND points today to see if that theory is correct----1 point = 50 calories. And that's about all for today. I am planning on having a better day than yesterday too. I joined ww online. I do know that 1 point = 50 calories except if something (50 cal) as more grams of fiber the pointage goes down and if something (50 cal)has more grams of fat the pointage goes up. I learned this from my love of potato chips. Then it all comes down to flavor vs. quantity and if I can control myself.

Just to let y'all know, weight's still the same as last week. Well, at least it wasn't a gain, heh. I'll just work harder this week. But not off to a good start today. Well, I did do my walk this morning---2 miles, a slight increase---but the eating today was, well, just horrendous!! But let's not talk about it. I don't want to tempt anyone else into eating something they shouldn't. Let's just say it was too embarrassing to discuss! Sorry, peeps, I feel like I've let more than myself down when I do this. So here's to a much better day tomorrow.

Anyways, I'll be back tomorrow. Sorry about the late entry today, I was too busy eating, HAH! No, seriously, I will do better the rest of the week, I promise. I know, it's easy to say when my belly is stuffed but I really mean it. I want a good loss next week. Okay, hope you all had a great day. Good morning! I'm here really early this morning. I had to get up early to shower and do my hair before we go bowling this morning. So here I am. It looks like bowling may be the only exercise today, depends on what goes on later today. And I hope today will be a better day than yesterday. No exercise yesterday and I had a really hungry day. I just ate and ate. What is it about that thing that if you screw up part of the day, you go ahead and just ruin the whole day? That's how it is with me, anyway. At least I still didn't eat anything after 7pm. Heck, I had already eaten plenty as it was, heh. So tomorrow is weigh day and it doesn't look good from here. Oh, well. I'll just keep trying. No inspiration here for you, sorry.

I hope you had fun bowling. I love it, but none of the people in my life does.. oh well. I have joined back with Weight Watchers. Good morning! Things are going well for me. Yesterday I had 25 points or about 1250 calories. But my only exercise was a 35 minute walk on the treadmill. I also vacuumed the kitchen, dining room and living room and mopped the kitchen floor. And I kept pretty busy the rest of the day too. Oh, one important thing, peeps----ALWAYS balance your check book EVERY MONTH! I spent about 3 hours trying to update mine. When I checked the statement this month, it came out that I showed over $1000 more than the bank statement so I had to go back and recheck everything. That's back 7 or 8 months. You see, I do all my banking online and I thought if I just checked my online statement once in awhile, I could keep things straight, not doing the usual hard copy statement balancing. I found I hadn't entered a house payment one month that comes out electronicly so there was my big mistake. There were a few other small ones too. So from now on I will balance it just as soon as it comes in the mail. Whew! Here we thought the bank was cheating us, heh!

So, no exercise this morning---I went to Super WalMart early this morning so at least that was some walking but I may try to get some in later. But, guess what!! I didn't buy a donut and eat it in my car as I usually do! The thought kept entering my brain the whole time but I resisted it! Yay, me!

Okay, time for brekky and I'm starved, haha! You all have a great day. I'll see ya tomorrow!

Heya! It's good to be back! I missed the positive vibe on this site :) Great job resisting the donut. See you feel good now instead of feeling guilty about getting the donut!! :) I had a good resistance this morning too, I had stepped inside of bakery/bread shop craving an almond croissant, but I remembered the apple I had packed in my bag and ate that instead! I save myself calories, fat, and $1.80 :)
