Update: I'm thinking of going low carb just to see what happens...Anyone try this?

Woke up a bit hydrated so I'm gonna work on that today. Still no period....I believe its either not coming this month or itll be very very late. Zachs coming up here this weekend so we may go out and buy a test. Blah. 

B (7) - Breakfast on the go granola and nut mix w/ some hashbrowns

S (10) - Nature Valley bar w/ green Tea

L (12) - Turkey patty w/ slice of american cheese and some left over french fries Since I needa use my lunch time to go out shopping, were gonna go get some healthy choices at the supermarket :) = Salad bar salad (brocolli, spinach, sunflower seeds, artichoke, shrimp, grilled chicken).weighed about pound + diet coke

S (6) - pre Workout Green Tea Apple

D (9) - Balsamic Chicken w/ cous cous

Exercise = 50 min cardio, 30 min boxing, weights (arms)

Hi! RYC - My Insanity results so far - I haven't weighed or measured myself recently, but at the end of month 1 I had lost around 6 pounds and close to 8 inches off my body! They say most of the real stuff happens in month 2, but since I had a month's break in between, I don't know if that will ring true for me. Doesn't matter though - I feel fit and healthy and that's what counts!

Good Luck with your test! Have fun shopping. A break from work is always good. I like the grocery for my "therapy". I like to take my time and look at everything and get ideas to cook for the following week. I don't buy pre packaged foods, but I look at them for base ideas. If I think "That looks good" then I read the ingredients and buy them fresh and goggle recipes with good ratings. Relax, take a deep breath, anxiety will make TOM late too...

I tried low carb before but it just doesn't agree with me...maybe it does with others...I think it is easy to dehydrate doing low carb.

Good morning ladies!

Woke up super early and now I'm all tired. BUT its gonna be another beautiful day so I hope I can at least get outside for a little while. 

Also, so this month about TOM is weird. I have 4 days late. I am wondering if this is my body getting adjusted without birth control? Anyone else experiance something like this? Previous 2 months have been fine, but this one is just weird!  I have no signs of TOM or pregnancy really (only a little naseous this morning but very slightly)...HM these things always freak me out :/ Ah the wonders of being a woman!

B (630) - Breakfast on the go

S (930) - Green Tea (sugar free)

L (1230) - Left over spinach and salad w/ piece of chicken parm

D (6) - Veggie Burger and bean burger (no buns) with some baked fries (a little too much but i think i can burn it off)

Exercise = 50 min cardio, boxing routine for 30 mins

Since you are indded off the pill, TOM is not going to arrive like clockwork, I am sure your body is still making adjustments, no need to worry Sara..After 6 years being bc pill free I finally have a normal cycle(unfortunately, LOL) Mine usually arrive every 21 days :( Have a good day Sara :)

I'm guessing your body will be off for a few cycles at least after going off the pill. I wouldn't worry too much about it, you'll get adjusted.

Once again, no surprise with the weight gain. I ate lots of salty foods yesterday AND still waiting on TOM....3 days late. Were gonna give it another week and then well worry lol.

B (715) - Breakfast on the go nut mix 

L (1215) - Salad (Brocolli, Lettuce, Black Olives, Peppers, Chicpeas), grapes and cubed cheddar

D (7) - 1 piece of chicken parm, salad, and creamed spinach

S (9) - Granola Bar

Exercise = 40 min cardio, boxing routine

Have a great day! Thanks for your nice comment! Not bad for 51 years old... TOM could just be stress late. Sometimes your worry can affect it. But that's a vicious circle because it's hard not to worry. Good luck!

Since there are no men on here (so I think?)....WHY do they not clean up after themselves???? I am here in NC and I have the entire day to myself until Zach comes back home from being on base. He hasn't done laundry in 3 weeks, there is absolutely no food, the sheets havent been changed IN A MONTH, and everything is dirty and dusty and grimmy....the toilet seat...enough said...OY! Needless to say, I am happy to see the boy :D

Anyway, as you can see today will be a cleaning day for me...

Weights up but I'm not too worried about it. I'm hecka sore from my boxing routine the other day. I like it :) I also found my bathing suit one piece for swimming laps. I think Ill bring it back to DC with me.

B (8) - 300 cal worth breakfast (can tuna, turkey suasage, and whole wheat bun)

L (12) - HM

S (3) - HMMM

D (6) - HMMMM i think you get the idea lol

Exercise = Non till monday!

Hello all! Feel much better! All rested and relaxed.  In 2 weeks is my "full-time" employment review and interview part 1 here at the applied physics lab and they are gonna negotiate on getting my PhD if I am allowed to stay. Also, I have a job interview with the Corps of Engineers in 2 weeks SO! July is turning out to be a great month!

Below are 2 photos I took at the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum at Dulles Airport. The first is the gifts I bought for Zach and me. He gets the blue p-51  to put in his office since my favorite color is blue and I get the yellow and red one because those are the Marine Corps colors.  The second picture is the Discovery Space shuttle. I can't believe it has gone up to space 69 times and is still standing.  If you ever get to come to DC, i suggest going to this musuem (especially if you have kids because they will be SO amused by all the different airplanes, i know I was ;) ) 

The BAD D word came up yesterday. Yes, deployment! ARG. I've survived one with you ladies, and here comes #2. Shouldn't be for awhile, but guess who has his "pre-training" coming up in october :( Another month without zach in october after being gone from June-August, and then another 9 months come February.....At least by then I'll be settled job wise and we can work on buying a house :) and ill have some Sara time to get sexier ;) 

Were gonna be really good food wise. I woke up a little dehydrated so were gonna drink a bunch of green tea and water. 

B (7) - Almond cereal + almond milk

S (10) - Pretzels

L (12) - Chicken Masala and steamed veggies

D (6) - Spinachopeta, grilled chicken, and salad

S (8) - Green Tea and fruit salad

Exercise = 50 min cardio, 30 min boxing :)

Its not COMPLETELY fruits and veggies... but pretty damn close... Its 75% raw, 25% cooked, vegan, gluten free, caffeine free, and alcohol free.... I can eat a little bit of nuts, beans, cooked veggies, and a small amound of non wheat grains (brown rice or quinoa basically)... Its HARD... but working really well...

While I'm dong this my husband is doing 100% raw vegan cleanse... That I cannot imagine!!!

Ugghh on the D word... My best friend and college roommate's husband is in the national guard and just was deployed for the first time last week, so I'm trying to support her... I cannot imagine how hard it is on your military spouses! I give you SO much credit!!!

RYC thanks, it is so very sad. I think about the devastated parents all the time. And the sister who is only 6 1/2 doesn't understand, nor does the 3 year old. I've ordered some books on explaining death to children and had them posted to their house.

REFRESHED!

Well, not quite. I'm still a bit sleepy but I'm sure that is just morning tiredness. 

Today we have a field trip (Ha, makes me feel like were in elementary school) to the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum. I've never been so it should be fun! (Also, its an entire day off of work so thats extremely fun too! lol)

Were gonna attempt to eat healthy and workout later. OH YES! I've also started weight watchers..well see how that goes. I get normally 21 points so....hopefully I'm good with that! 

B (7) - Cup of Special K w/ Almond milk (3) 

S (Since well be on the tour for most of the day its gonna be a B-L-D kind of day)

L (12) - They have mcdonalds sooooo were gonna get a salad and not use the dressing or croutons. Caesar Salad w/ grilled chicken (5) 

D (6) - Chicken Taco w/ Beans and salad (11) 

S (8) - Fruit Salad (0)

Exercise = 50 min cardio, 30 min boxing

Total points = 19

On a trip my sister and I tried the McD's salads with chicken (lite dressing) and it was pretty good. Guilt free.

Good Morning!

Well I didn't lose anyweight this week BUT i didn't gain and after this terrible weekend of eating, I am sure glad about that!

Brought my boxing gloves back from NY so I'm gonna start boxing more since its not only a great workout but a great destresser too!

I slept terribly last night so hopefully I have enough energy to do a full workout today. I'm gonna eat light just in case I'm too tired. 

B (7) - Almond cereal + almond milk + some mini wheats

S (10) - Pretzels

L (12) - Salad (Lettuce, brocolli, black olives, chicpeas and 1 egg) and Nature valley granola bar

Sleep (5) - YEP. I know I should eat something but I'm too tired to eat.

Maybe you can get a good night's sleep tonight! I have truvia but hadn't really cooked much with it because of the expense. I've used it in 1/3 cup quantities and it takes less and really hasn't bothered me with aftertaste much. But I heard the STevia was even more natural and this cup for cup that I bought in the "baker's bag" I thought would solve all problems since it should have the right volume. I should have realized that when In the Raw site doesn't have a traditional cheesecake recipe it wasn't going to be good! Their recipe was using tofu instead of real cream cheese. OH, well.... back to the drawing board. I will stay with the Splenda cheesecake because it was really good! And I am still befuddled on the caramel sauce!

i doubt the scale will be friendly to me tomorrow BUT its ok. I hardly mess up so yesterday was a let day :) And boy did I eat some good food at that party

Today is a new day and were gonna try to eat clean for most of it.

L (12) - More fruit or raw veggies

S (3) - More fruit of raw veggies! 

S (6) - Wasabi peas

And well add food along the way :)
