Good morning all! Thanks for the comforting comments about the jerko! Yall know im not someone you wanna mess with ahahahah! I mean come on....Ive got baby guns attached to my shoulders - kisses biceps - LOL . I have a feeling my future kids are gonna be a handful....

Last night someone told me that Im funny enough to be on TV....No way in heck would I be able to be on TV.....Im more of a behind the scenes kinda girl...my hair is too funky to manage for lots of people to see...BUT if justin timberlake or brad pitt were my co-stars, then maybe id be okay with it LOL

Busy day ahead of me! Update later!

*Lunch time yoga Had to miss it for work meeting :( 

L (1) - Whole wheat wrap w/ turkey and spinach w/ honey mustard and carrots

*Gym - 45 mins cardio...

D (7) - Ha went to buffalo wild wings and probably ate too much. Oh well we all need a day to just kick back and eat!  Some fries, side salad and grilled chicken wrap

lol, the weight won't go down right away, but weightlifting sure does help. my cardio is less these days as i'm trying to help my sore leg recover...

your dinner sounds delicious. i even had salmon for breakfast today.

i am planning to turn my breakfasts into more substantial meals,and less cereals.

Update: SO I didn't add this in the original post, but I figure its important. Saturday night I went out with some friends and we went to a bar. I don't like to go to bars without zach because usually I have to be that person thats like "well, no im married....but my friends are single. Talk to them!" and because I don't drink so I just kinda sit there lol. Well needless to say, it happened and these two gentlemen were no gentlemen. One ordered me drinks 4 times before the bartended had to tell him to cool it and the other was WAY too close for comfort. One of them didn't like the response that I was married and when I told my friends that I was leaving, he waited and followed me to the car and tried to get physical. Thankfully.......I remembered some things Zach taught me and broke his nose and kicked him in a not very good place :)  Man got arrested and long story short, I'm not going back to that bar.......BUT! I've also decided to attend self-defense classes. Could be good exercise as well, but I think its so important that women know how to defend themselves. Zach won't always be around when stuff like this happens....so I just wanna learn how to be safer on my own :)  

Good Morning all!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I have today off which is really nice. More sleep, more relaxing, and more time at the gym lol

My body is losing weight very slowly, which I'm really happy about. I just gotta keep at the lifting I'm doing and my body will eventually change. Also means I can totally eat more....and well I do love to eat lol. 

Zach is kind of in this weird mental state right now. He's extremely nervous about finding a job once he's a civilian. He wants to go into air traffic control since that is what he does now, but no spots are open for 2 years or so.....SO weve been a little stressed out about it. But i keep reminding him that we have a year to do research on jobs over here. Worst comes to worst well wait those 2 years out or move away. Ah, struggles of life lol

Found peanut butter that is okay for me to eat! The doctor said Lara Bars are okay as long as I dont get a tummy ache from it. If not, then I can keep eating it again....I believe its more of less the gluten than anything. 

B (8) - Oatmeal (yay for gluten free), Peanut butter, chocolate protein powder, almond milk 

S (11) - Peanut butter lara bar 

L(2) - Whole wheat wrap w/ turkey, honey mustard and some spinach 

D(530-6) - Salad w/ mushrooms and chicken and bean sprouts w/ lettuce and some vinegrette and and an apple 

* Gym = Arms and abs and cardio

S (9) - Homemade popcorn or cucumbers and homemade ranch.....

OMG I hope that A-hole learned his lesson, that will show his ass.. You know next time you are out and about make sure you go to your car with someone else OR there is nothing wrong with asking the bartender/bouncer/staff member to walk you to your car.. Hope your extra day off was a good one <3

Happy Valentines Day all Wherether or not you celebrate it or not, today is also a day of reflection about the ones we love and how we should love more people openly and freely! So, to all of my dear friends, I  you! You all help me accomplish my weightloss goals and are my motivation to eat clean everyday! 

ALSO, meet my Valentine. That was such a fun day. We plan on another shoot when Z comes back .


Today started off as an equally great day. Goal for today is to eat as little candy as possible. I made these: 


and I only managed to eat one last night out of 100! Talk about will power! However, my co-workers know I cant have gluten, so no cake or cookies or chips or anything like that for me :)

B (530) - Ezekiel slice, cheese, ham, and some honey mustard

S (830) - Greek Yogurt Vanilla

S (1030) - Apple slices and pretzels (handful)

* Lunch time yoga

L (1230) - Ham and Cheese sandwich (ezekiel bread), tomato, spinach, and honey mustard

S (330) - Carrots and celery

* Gym - Hour of Cardio! 

D (7) - 2 chicken patties, some veggies w/ lactose free cheese 

S (10) - Treating myself to pretzels and m&ms. Todays my freebie day!

Good morning all!!

Run a mile this morning outside. Still a little too cold though for me and had to come back inside. BUT it should be a high fo 45 today. Whoo hoo! Spring is on its way...

Still haven't heard from Zach but appreciate your thoughts. I'm sure there is a communication lockdown there so I'm not too worried. I thank you all for the lovely prayers! Eventually theyll all be home soon!

Tomorrow is Valentines day y'all! Are you doing anything fun? I guess its good that my honey isn't here so we dont have to worry about going out/eating too much cholocate/ shaving legs lol. Let me live vicariously through you!

Im thinking of doing the lunch time boot camp here at work (For all those that wonder, the gym here on the base is about a half mile walk to work...so I take lunch off for yoga and maybe this...) It would be MWF and yoga is Tuesday and Thursday...so more moving the body throughout the day? Idk...well see the prices! 

Today is also the health fair at the base. The colonel of our job here said that we get an extra hour off to go enjoy it. I think i will

Same deal, different day. After yesterdays 6 mile run, my legs sure do feel it!

B (530) - Ezekiel slice, ham, and slice MLF cheese w/ some honey mustard

* 1 mile run

S (830) - Greek Yogurt Vanilla

L (1130) - Ham sandwhich with ezekiel bread, lettuce, tomato, mozerella lactose free (mlf) cheese + apple slices

S (230) - Cucumber slices, carrots, and celery 

S (430) - Pretzels (maybe 150 cal worth?) 

* Gym - Hour of Cardio (maybe 4 mile run? and elliptical) + Butt, legs, and abs day! 

D (7) - Brocolli w/ Salmon and brown rice 

S (10) - Homemade popcorn 

Total miles ran today: 1

Total miles run so far: 7.04

I think a lunch time boot camp would be great!! Not sure what base you are near, but I visited my best friend last month and she works at the Military Base in San Antonio(name is escaping me right now) and is always able to work out over lunch. We went one day while I was there to a class and it was great! Definite perk of working at or having access to a military base!! Your exercise continues to amaze me:) Have a great day!!

Hahahahaha you are too funny Sara.. No big plans for me, work and maybe a glass of vino after work, get a few gifts from my stalkers, you know the usual ;) LOL That bootcamp sounds amazing! I am assuming that you would have time to do this on your lunch break, I say go for it!! That would be cool if they had one before work as well..Either way I am sure it will def give the metabolism a shove not to mention all the energy you will have afterwards.. Have a good evening!

Morning everyone!!

Today is another day and Im in good spirits for some reason today. Yay lol. My friend gave me a fantastic idea about tracking the amount I exercise in miles and seeing how far it can take me....So far today, we have 3.02 Im gonna aim for 35 miles a week and see how far I get to New York....and than maybe to Afghanistan by the time Zach gets home!

Today also is day 1 of my crazy diet. Lets hooe we figure out something about this tummy issue...

Zach update: Boys good. Good news is that his deployment has been cut in half! SO no more year deployment but our average 6-8 months! Which meansssss I have 5-7 months left to go! Bad and good news. Good news, cause well...hell be home soon. Bad news = means I really need to push this getting healthier gig! Boys already lost 2% bf! Men (ha i know some of you gentleman are rolling your eyes, but its hard for us ladies sometimes!) HOWEVER, I havent heard from him in a couple of days, which worries me. We got a notication that someone has been hurt in their unit, so if anyone would like to send our a prayer that would be awesome.

B (630) - Turkey w/ lactose free cheese (meh..takes like poop), ezekiel bread (yay for gluten free!), and a little bit of honey mustard (Who says you cant have a sammich for breakfast!)

*3 mile run!

S (930-10) -  Grapefruit (I wonder how going to cut this without a knife...) + greek yogurt vanilla (YAY im allowed to eat this!)

* Lunch time yoga yay!

L (1230) - Very similar to breakfast, turkey w/ cheese, lettuce, tomato, and some honey mustard w/ ezekiel bread w/ cut up apple

S (230) - Cut up Cucumbers w/ some hummas (just realized its gluten free too...whoo hoo...even though im not suppose to have nuts :/ )

S (430) - Some more greek yogurt vanilla (Light&Fit I recommend!) 

*Gym - Arm day! , abs, and 60 min cardio

D (7) - Left over talapia w/ brocolli and peppers

S (10) - cucumber

Total miles ran today: 6.04

Total miles run so far: 6.04

You can peel the grapefruit and pull of the pith (the white part) from the outside of the peeled fruit first or with the skin as you section it. It's a fun way to eat it because you only eat the good part and you easily get it all--might want to try it at home to see if you like doing it that way.

I hope you ended up with nothing to worry about from "over there." Positive vibes sent to you and there too:-)

Another Monday....whoo hoo lol. Good news is that weve got one less month on this deployment! My how time flies! 

Went up a pound this week....Not too worried since I know what I did wrong. Start fresh today. I'm feeling a little "meh" today so Im gonna stock up on some vitamin C through fruits today! Also made funeral sammies for work today (Hawaiian rolls, ham, swiss, tomato, spinach, worchester sause, honey, mustard, and bacon) since last week I didnt bring anything in.  I make it for the gentleman here because well....I miss cooking for someone. Needless to say though, I will be sticking to my fruits and veggies today and hoping we can get back down to a 126 sometime soon....I've decided that when the weight decides to fall, itll fall. It the meantime, Ill continue eating and working out and overall being healthy :) 

Went to the doctor this weekend and by now I think all of you know I have a slight tummy problem (some sort of generic annoyance that my parents gave me [ Dad has IBS and mom has had 3 ulcers and lactose is definitely not her friend] ) and some eye problem/headaches(my eyes cross sometimes....its scary stuff!) I was told to eliminate some things out of my diet. After the bloodwork, weve discovered that my iron is incredibly low...almost to the point of Anemia (Wonderful). Heres the list:

Not to eat: 

1) Gluten.....Not that I each much anyway, but well keep an eye out

2) Diary.....Stuggles!

3) Nuts....Sad day!

4) Pop, especially diet..........Were working on it!

5) Soy - Well...dont eat much of it anyway

6) Sweet Potatoes.... :(

7) Spinach....:( I probably eat spinach 10x more than the average person!

8) Tea....shoot...need to find a new drink...

Need to eat more of: 

1) Seafood - Good I can do this

2) Turkey - no problem

3) White wine LOL...I guess this is over red. which is good since I like white over red

4) Brocolli and Peppers...

Etc....Theres a whole list of yeses and noes...so its gonna be a struggle, but well work on it!


Menu

B (730) - Ezekiel toast w/ drizzle of honey + greek yogurt vanilla

S (1030) - Apple, ezekiel toast / egg whites

L (1230) - Mixed frozen veggies w/ hummas

S (230) - Carrots w/ hummas (Yes hummas is nuts, but! tomorrow will be 100% clean)

S (430) - Orange

*Gym - Some legs and no cardio. Off day!

D (7) - Chiken (around 200 cal), some lettuce, baby corn and mushrooms 

S  (10) - Kale chips w/ some shredded cheese...

Sorry to hear about your tummy troubles, but that is a weird list!! I love spinach too and I would think it was because of the green (my mom can't do dark green veggies or tea) but yet broccoli is on your yes list. And I don't know how to cut the nuts either... Give it a whirl - you have been so successful with your healthy diet and your commitment to exercise that I know you will master this so you can feel better. Keep the count down going!! I totally understand the need to cook for someone and it's great that you have those men who really appreciate the great sandwiches! Have a great week Sara!

Yikes, that is a TOUGH diet!!! I have a co-worker going through many of the same issues and she has a long list of things to exclude as well... Interestingly, her dr told her if she is going to eat anything on the "avoid" list, to eat the organic version because organic food is non GMO (genetically modified) and that is frequently causing GI issues in Americans... Oh geee that is a lot fo don't eats! No nuts - if it's IBS I can see that as sometimes they set me off and sometimes they don't! Also - one thing I love it brussel sprouts - more than spinach. Can you have those? Looks like broccoli and peppers would gt to the IBS, etc......that's a weird kind of list, I think. it's all experimental, anyway - but I hope you find a happy medium in there somewhere!

Today also started my first day without any type of Pop. I usually have a good deal amount of diet throughout the day and I already feel the urge, but I need to stop!

I hope you're right about the pound or so. I've been good through the week. BUT...I've been in a lot of pain, on drugs (for pain), and not working out. Lots of sitting. My belly still looks big and round. If I don't lose any, or even gain a pound or two, I'm not gonna let it get me down. I'm gonna be back on that horse, win or lose. Be good Cheese.

Not doing much this weekend except catching up with all of your lives :) Im also going to be doing a lot of cooking for fun this weekend (some not the healthiest meals), since I wanna bring some in later this week to work....gonna be an interesting struggle of will power with all those cookies, but I can totally do it!

ALSO, gotta venture out to Walmart. Always an adventure there on the weekends lol.

ALSO, may get my haircut lol Well see....

Gotta get some workouts in my day too....hmmmm.....

TO my Northeast friends, stay warm!!!!!

B (9) - 1/2 cup oatmeal, 6 tsp egg whites, veggie sausage, little bit of apple and honey  

L (1) - Apple and amy lentil soup 

I think i must have ended around 1500. Good!

Rest of food will be determined later!

NOOOOO i had a whole post and it got deleted!! And it was a good one! DRATS! LOL.....dont we just hate it when that happens!

Happy Friday yall!!! GO out and do something fun this weekend! Me? Catching up with some zzzz, with some handsome, and with some movies....Sounds like the good life to me! 

B (530) - Oatmeal (1/2 cup), some honey, a little bit of PB = 150 + 50 + 50 + 50 = 300

S (730) - Greek Yogurt Vanilla = 80 

S (930) - Apple + almonds = 250

L (12) - Edamame = 202

S (230) - Carrots and hummas = 200

S (4) - yeah....just had some dip and pretzels and chips...not a good day for eating lol = 1100 maybe...

Total so far = 1100 + 200 + 200 + 250 +80 + 300 = 2130 - 1000 = 1130! Awesome!

* Gym = Gotta bring it today, cardio, weigh lifting, HIIT, and yoga!  = 1000 burned!
