My friends...as I sit here at the computer late at night after binging on cereal, I promise myself

- No more pop. Had my last diet coke...forever! (well maybe not forever because burger, fries, and coke go hand and hand)

- No more cereal....I dont like it to begin with because it doesnt fill me up and its just there....so I eat it

- No more hummas....I eat WAY too much...

- No more peanut butter...So far, havent had ANY since november (go me :) ) 

- No more popcorn.....havent had any since november :)

- No more pretzels....

Snacks will continue to be apples, carrots,and cucumbers.

There are worse things you can binge on, just saying. You are doing great overall so please don't be too hard on yourself - sometimes too many restrictions can backfire. Believe me, I know this. Have a good one today!

Yay another 1.5 lb down in  day. I think its a lot of water weight but this week is important I stay on track! 

Tomorrow begins my deployment countdown. 6-7 months until I see Zach again :( BUT well use that as a timeline! By July I wanna have some sort of abs....hopefully!

B (530) - Special K almond cereal + almond milk (250)

S (8) - Egg whites, Slice cheese, whole wheat toast + apple (320) + salami and cheese and 1/2 of cc bagel ( :( oh well Illl use this as a cheat 400)

L (1) - Ham and cheese sandwich (250)

S (3) - Carrots (175) + Hummas (200) = (375)

G (430-6) - Hour of Cardio + weight training! = THIS is gonna be a big cardio day.....

D (7) - apple + Mixed veggies + Chicken (320+150+120)

oh and thennnn we killed it with some cereal :( NO MORE. I emptied half the box in the garbage...(200)

Total: 2385....well crap. Tomorrow is a new dya.

G (6-7) - Hour of cardio whoooo hooo lol.

S (8) - (90) whole wheat toast, slice of cheese (30), 3 oz of turkey (60) = 180

S (11) - Apple (150)

L (130) - Veggies (180) + some hummas (100) + carrots (100) = 380

S (3) -greek yogurt (120)

D (6-7) - Left over chicken and salad (300)

Total = 120 + 180 + 150 + 120 + 300 + 380 = 1250 so far planned.

G (8-9) - Weight training possibly some more cardio? well see

Another day, another lb eh? ;) I realized its the only way to keep my sane while zach is gone....YEP.

Recovery mode is going well! Eating the right foods and definitely got my workout last night and this morning

B (530) - Special K Almond + Almond milk (400)

G (6-7) - Hour of cardio

S (930) - Apple (150)

L (1230) - Steamed veggies + hummas +  Baby carrots (160 + 175 + 300)

S (330) - Apple (150)

G (430-6) - Legs and ab workout + hour cardio

D (630) - Baked Chicken w/ brocolli and cucumbers (maybe 400)

Total = 1730. good

Ill update later on and catch up on your entries :)

hahaha, actually its 643lbs. :) Horace informed me that 7 plates (733lbs) is his "warm up" set, so Im glad Im almost at "man" level. :)

ALSO, were gonna keep doing two a days until the weight is back in the right track!

TGIF! Its my 2nd anniversary with Zach tomorrow  Time flies when youre having fun lol

Hopefully we don't eat too crappy tomorrow but Monday is my start date of eating clean, exercising, and clean shopping....so this weekend will be the last "fun" weekend for awhile!

Thanks of the comments on the location. I'm one of those people that don't mind cold too much so my vote is Hanover first and well see what happens from there.....

Also, had a dream that I opened a panini truck LOL

ALSO, TOM is late again....by 2 weeks. Dear body, WHEN will you adjust properly....My doctor wont even let me go back on BC because shes afraid it will mess up my schedule even more :/

I hate that I've gained so much weight these past few weeks. Doesnt help that we had pizza last night......

Oh well, time to start over! 

ALSO! I found out that after my army training here for 2 years, in IL/IA I have a choice of where i wanna move to....Here are some of my choices:

1 - Hanover, NH. I've only been once when I went to visit Dartmouth College for school hunting....beautiful area and really cool research work for the area. PLUS, the fall leaves are AWESOME. Ive always wanted to live in New England (mainly, because of the colonial history). Well see what happens

2 - Alexandria, VA - Very familiar with the area. Right outside of DC. BUT! traffic is the worst thing ever (even coming from a NYer, DC traffic sucks....)

3 - Vicksburg, Miss - Well.....the research they do at the army labs is cool. Can't say I know too much about this area but after living in the south for 2 years I think I have an idea. Humid summers, warm winters, swamps lol

Well see what happens Dec 2014! 

As for me now, I'd love to be at my ultimate goal by Dec 2014 lol

B (8) - Edamame (200) + Rasberry Tea (0)

S (1030) - Some granola....(maybe 300)

L (1) - Carrot sticks (175)

S (330) - Apple (150)

D (6) - YAY!!! I get to cook! Chicken tortillla soup :) Copycat of paneras soup but healthier! (260)

Happy New Year!!! Vicksburg would be my choice because as a Southern girl I love the area and the foods. It's not the hustle and bustle of the big city and you are close to being in the woods or the country. I can see you and Zach on a 4 wheeler blackberry picking or picnicking somewhere in the woods. It's not really swampy, but you are close enough to drive to one if you wanted to experience it. You can take the Natchez Trace Parkway South and head down to Natchez and it is a beautiful area for hills and biking. I know you will adapt and be happy wherever you go, but come on South and experience the slow life!! And you know how to take that weight off, look how successful you have been this year! You were an absolute inspiration to me!! Go get 'em girl!!

Urg, things are feeling tighter :/ I love zach but darn we eat so poorly when we relax with each other.....I still cant cook because we STILL havent received our furniture from the moving people. Fingers crossed that today is the day!

YAY! Zach just emailed and said everything is set up. Hooray!!

Im putting my weight as 130. I know its not that high, but itll help me get in a mindset of losing the rest.

B (730) - Tea + PB sandwhich (around 400)

S (1030) - Pretzels (maybe 300)

L (1230) - Salad (200) + 3 peppermint candies (100)

I am back from Colorado.....Haven't gone on the scale yet and BOY am I afraid too......Zach leaves on Sunday to go back to NC :( but once he leaves, its back to working out! He could potentially be gone for 13 months come January to the great big sandbox our there in the east...and while that is a LONG TIME, I'm exctied to use the time apart as a way to workout hardcore and surprise him with an awesome and fit boday ;) 

I'm looking back at 2012 and it really really was a great and healthy year! 

Here are my new healthy resolutions for 2013!

1 - Get to my goal weight (115)

2 - 26 inch waist

3 - Eliminate the love handles!

4 - Drink more water

5 - Run for an hour straight (this one will be hard since I'm weak on running, but well see...)

6 - Wear itty bitty yellow dot bikini LOL

7 - Cook 50 new meals and document it. Overall educate myself with new and "tastier" healthy food...Theres only so much chicken and spinach I can eat

8 - Get a heart rate monitor watch :) 

9 -  Try not to eat junk....but give myself free cheat meals

10 - Overall feel confident and not be so self conscious! 

YEP! Well see how well that goes!

I hope all of you have fun tonight doing whatever makes you happy. Me? Well probably be doing nothing...What fun 23 year old we are.......OY, my birthday is in 2 weeks....No cake for me this year :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

Hope everyones dreams and wishes come true for 2013. This year is "Year Sara". Since Zach will be gone, I'm gonna focus on me.

Besides the healthy eating and working out, I'm gonna try to make friends here.....Its been a challenge so far, but I'm sure I can make at least 1 friend (so much harder when youre not in school!)

I'm also gonna finish up my online Masters degree and apply to some Phds that the army will pay for in Emergency Planning;)....but I have AWHILE till that happens. I've got two years here in Iowa/Illinois....so well see what happens in Dec 2014 lol.

What else? I'm gonna let my hair grow out again (Those that remember my hair question....I've started to take Biotin. Well see if it works!)

I'm going to try to be a better family member too. I haven't seen my family as much as I would like to....so I'm gonna work on that.

AND lastly, I'm gonna work on being a better person. Theres too much saddness and chaos in our world today, that I'm gonna start volunteering my time to those that need help...

Anyway though, hope everyone has a great start to 2013 :)

FOOD! 

B (630) - Fiber 1 cereal + almond milk (maybe 250)

S (930) - Sara Lee Whole wheat toast + slice of american cheese (170)

L (1230) - oy steak n shake. Veggie melt (150) and some fries (300) and some of zachs milkshake (250)

Excellent goals for the new year! No, we didn't record the boys reaction on video, but it honestly took a day or 2 before it really sank in where they are going. Now they're bouncing off the walls about it haha. Happy New Year!

And j agree it is hard to make friends in a new town... Ive been living in my new college town for almost two years and i still think its really hard. but I'm so proud you have reached your weight loss goal! That is exciting!! :)

Happy Friday! I guess the world didnt come to an end today ;) Tomorrow we leave to colorado for Christmas break and HOPEFULLY Zs parents don't kill me with the bad food. Oy, I already feel heavier lol

It snowed a good foot last night. Ive never seen such windy situations. Glad we didnt drive too much though!
