Hey ladies,

Thanks for the well wishes and prayers :) every bit helps.

Lovinggg weight watchers. I CANNNOTT believe im almost down 10 pounds by just changing my diet!!! I need to try to find the time/energy to commit to working out. I can only imagine the results i could get if i added an hour of cardio every day.

So far ive had my typical eight point breakfast

Coffee-2 tbsp n/f creamer 1 tbsp sugar

2 eggs

1 pc wheat toast

Have work tonight gonna pack some fruits/veggies and probably a sandwich on wheat

Hi Ladies,

Im back! Sorry to have disappeared for so long. What a crazy few months it has been. To summarize I've had a brother in the er. A mother in the er. 2 of my friends in a horrific car accident with one still in the icu :/. A little challenging to say the least. With that my own personal goals kind of took the backseat and ive been treading water just trying to stay a float. Pair all that with school and I just havent had time to committ to being here. But things are looking up so here I Am!!

About 2 weeks ago my mother and I officially joined weight watchers and got weighed in. Starting point 172.4 im at 168.8. Was at 167.2 but it was my birthday weekend so I indulged maybe a little too much. Back on it today but overall loving the weight watchers program. So easy to follow and my only real adjustment is planning out my meals and cutting back portions. But 5 lbs int the first two weeks from diet alone is very encouraging. Hope you ladies are doing fabulous. Im sure you are. Looking forward to connecting with all you again

Wow you have been through a lot! Sorry to hear about all of the stressful and sad events that have happened lately :(...I'm glad things are getting better and that you are back! Good job pushing through it all and now getting back on track. Congrats on the loss, keep it up! I did the points system awhile back with weight watchers and it was a pretty easy and effective program....not sure what the program is nowadays but glad it is working for you :)

thanks for all the kind words ladies. its been a rough week. just one of those crazy all over the place weeks. while i havent cheated like crazy i havent been totally on board with the diet plan i had. a little dissapointed in myself but just keep reminding myself to just get back on it. took my little sister to her first concert last night. one of those kiddie boy bands big time rush. wasnt exactly easy to stay on diet there as concert venues dont offer much healthy food so i had a hot dog a bag of chips and diet coke.

then tomm is my moms birthday so again with the going out to dinner baking a cake. i just need to be prepared and plan out healthy substitutes and get on it. hoping to fit in some me time and work out today.

since shes been sick(hernia) shes been on this cleaning streak so i feel like ive been running around and by the time i finish working out is the last thing i want to do.

staying positive though. making sure today is the day i get back on the wagon.

hope everyone is having a great weekend. keep up the good work ladies :)

Some weeks are going to be like that - just many pitfalls all around. But to come though and do OK is GREAT. Gotta fit a healthy diet into your life - not fit life into your health diet. Perspective and balance. You did good - keep at it. A good attitude and planning will take you far!!

I decided that I wouldn't turn down treats like a b'day cake but I either try to serve myself a sliver of cake or just eat a couple of bites and enjoy the taste & without making a big deal of it, throw the rest away. Good luck!

hey ladies,

its been a crazy couple of days. been working a lot. helping out a lot around the house with the fam. mom is at doctors now getting a bunch of test shes hasnt been feeling well lately. feel like ive fallen off the band wagon. havent gone crazy cheating but deff missed the mark on pre prepping meals and counting cal. hoping to get back on board tomm. this week just has me drained i feel like ive been running around like crazy. hopefully all this running around has a least burned some calories..ha

Keep on planning as best you can. Sometimes I have periods of time it's easier and then there are those times it's not.....just keep trying it's not a perfect progess and I guess it should not be.....that would be dull, wouldn't it? You just keep at it.

trying to be pretty light today. took my sister to her karate class yest and rewarded her with some frozen yogurt. not so bad. but then i came home to pizza and it was all over. had 2 slices eek. todays a new day menu is as follows

b; 2 eggs fresh salsa 1 tortilla. 300

s: coffee 200

l; 2 pc wheat 1 slice bologna 1 tsp light mayo- 250

30 oz of water so far.

holy moly i weigh 169!!!!

now to be fair im thinking i didnt start out at 175. i feared getting on the scale so went with the weight that i had at my last doctors visit in January. I assumed that because I didnt do any radical dieting or crazy exercise my weight was still in that region. But im ecstatic to say i braved the scale this morning and was so happy to see im in the 160s!!(sorry if i sound like im gloating just exccited)

im gonna estimate my starting weight was 171 so lets just say im down two pounds lol.

talk about motivating im ready to see that number creep down some more!!!

todays menu is as follows. im running low on veggies so havent been getting in as many as i need

b-coffee 100 cal 2 eggs-160 1 cup potatoes 200 cal?

s: nada

l: i mac n cheese lean cuisne-300 cal

took one tiny fingerful of leftover krispies(those things are killing me) but walked away after and decided no more for me

im at 30 oz water.

keep up the good work ladies!!

alright fell off the wagon a bit yesterday. took my brother and sister to see harry potter so i partook in some licorice and popcorn. just enough to satisfy didnt go too crazy. got home and had a homemade chicken pot pie which really wasnt all to bad all veggies mixed with grilled chicken and a can of cream of chicken soup topped with a few cresent roll strips. still not a great choice though.

heres the kicker. made homemade rice krispies for the troops. couldnt help having a square :/

todays a new day havent eaten yet so far about to have a little eggs and fresh salsa then off to work. gotta prep my meals/snacks for the night so i dont cheat there.

yikes...didnt do as well at the movies as i thought i would....todays menu is as follows

B: coffee 100 cal

L: 2 eggs 1 pc ham wrapped in 1 tortilla 390 cal

s: 3 cups movie popcorn 6 licorice :O licorice was 220 popcorn ill guess was 300?

had like 6 chips and salsa another 100.

so far at 1200ish. havent had dinner think ill just make a turkey sandwich.

on the upside harry potter was awesome. wasnt a big fan of it at first but the last three films totally got me into it.

long night last night...didnt go to bed till three. I have a little sister who refuses to sleep in her bed so my parents always sleep on our couches with her which are comfotable for hanging out on not for sleeping....they volunteered me to sleep on them last night so they could sleep in their bed so i was up tossing and turning. its 12 pm here ahh i hate sleeping in this late so much of the day waster : /

anyways caved a little last night had a toritlla with salsa and counted out 12 tortilla chips w/salsa added 300 cal to my day yest but i stil managed to stay at 1420.

todays a new day...guess im gonna start with lunch since its so late!!

Oh,no fair. Little sis should sleep in her bed or at least you should not be expected to sleep-sit her. How old is she for goodness sake?? Your calories were good for the day - salsa and chips aren't so bad if you use portion control. Good healthy stuff for the most part - no cookies, potato chips, donuts, ice cream, etc. Those things are OK, too - in small portions once in awhile. I don't believe in excluding anything at all IF you work it in and eat healthily most of the time. You are doing really well. Keep it up.

thanks everyone. the longer i stick with this the less i crave junk food!!! prepping ahead really does save. todays menu is below hope i can continue tomm doin a legoland trip. i think ill pack so healthy snacks so i dont eat the junk they have there. debating having a little something. its 10 here. i should probably just chug some water and ignore my craving for some food but i might have to go snag a few turkey slices

b: coffee 100

l: 1 turkey patty with cheese bottom of wheat bun 500 cal?

s: power bar and string cheese 280

d: 2 pc wheat toast 4 slices turkey 1 tbsp hummus-240

total call 1120

its a little low a may just have to justify some late night protein

okay so day 4. last night was ok. ate more than id like but i hit my 1750 cal.

had a turkey burger for dinner. my special baked fries on the side. and then my family decided to do a harry potter marathon night to catch us up for todays releasing.....

4 hours of television later i racked up

170 cal in a weight watcher desert

200 cal for another half of a turkey burger patty

and roughly 200 for about 15 corn tortillas and homemade salsa.....

ahh whyyy was so good. im chalking it up as it was at least semi healthy food. bad news it was later in the night and my work out consisted of fastforwarding through the commercials haha...

but today is a new day woke up late so i had a tukery burger patty and half a bun for lunch. gonna pack a snack bag of veggies to get me through my workshift tonight

Awesome ideas on the lunch packs girls. I did pack myself a pretty good one last night but still ended up a little hungry after my shift at 9:00...

Yest menu was as follows

b: 2 eggs 1 toast -260 cal

l: 1 mac n cheese lean cuisne-300 cal

s: 1 string cheese-90 cal

d: 2 wheat toast 4 slices turkey 1 tbsp hummus-240

s: 1 yogurt 1 pack natural valley granola-310

I feel like im eating a bunch but cant seem to hit my 1500 calorie mark. Seems like such an easy calorie intake to hit when its junk lol!

So i caved and came home and wrapped a few pieces of turkey with a tsp of hummus and packed with lettuce. I felt a litle guilty eating so late but I tried to make it as low cal as possible.

Todays a new day gonna look around on some of your blogs to see if I can find any meals to prep to change it up so I dont start getting bored

Also deff feelin a little sore today might just go for a 30 min walk/jog and do a little weights so I dont burn out this early in

Okay so results are in for todays food choices...id say i did pretty good kept me full until now. bout to eat some turkey burgers gotta be careful not to load up since my tummy is grumbling!!!

b: 2 scrambled eggs 1 wheat toast 1 slice ham mixed tomatoes and onions-340

s: coffee-100

l: 2 pcs wheat toast 2 slices ham 1 tbsp hummus-300 homemade fries 1 sliced potatoe drizzled light olive oil baked in oven-200

s: 1 tall skinny caramel macchiato(starbucks :/)-110

D: 1 turkey burger with cheese 400 cal? debating on wheat bun or eating it veggie style. probably make a small salad in lieu of frozen fries...or maybe some more of my homemade baked fries

im about 30 oz in for water gonna aim to drink another 30 at dinner.

Need to motivate myself to work out tonight. Im feeling a little sore may just pop in a yoga dvd.

Mason is my second born 4 month old son. Ethan, my first born is 3.5 years old. I posted a picture of them on Tuesday's entry if you're curious in knowing what my little handsome devils look like. :-)

As for feeling hungry, I'd recommend replacing some of the grain carbs (bread, pasta, oats in the granola) you're eating with fresh veggies and fruits. Grain carbs, especially pasta and granola get broken down pretty quick so you dont stay full for very long. If you replace your grain snacks with raw produce, you will stay fuller longer because the fiber in them takes longer to digest.

Hummus is so yummy! I love eating it with raw veggies such as celery, bell pepper strips, baby carrots, and grape tomatoes as well as in place of mayo in deli wraps!

One last thing. Have you tried greek yogurt? Its packed with much more protein than traditional yogurt, which will keep you full for a while. I recommend the brands Fage and Chobani - flavored or plain (which you can add your own fresh fruits or honey). The plain greek yogurt can be used in place of sour cream too. Mmm!

Good plan with the exercise. Keep your body from adapting to any particular workout. :)

Thank you for your kind comments in re of my BF moving....Well she is one of three chicks I actually like hanging out with...I am not much for the attention starved ones, their desperation gives me the shivers...LOl So I am forced to hang out with guys ALL the time..LOl Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with that but I grew up in a household of men and it is sometimes cool not to be referred to as "dude","man" or my fave "bro" LOL...Oh yea ;)
