Good Morning Bedtime was alot earlier last night and I still felt sluggish when the alarm went off so I abused the snooze button, LOL..After Power Legs class I am feeling really good, although Shaun T said he was trying to kill us today..Well I better get going while time is still on my side, catch up with you all later.Have a happy healthy day all

Well the tourists are starting to trickle off and it was kinda slow today, ended up closing shop early due to the rain that rolled through around 3.. Totally okay with this, I feel like this entire week has been a big blur..Can't wait for Sunday so I can just chill and decompress.. Off to get some fuel.. Good Evening!

B- Almond Breeze shake with whey protein,1/2 banana,natural pb, blueberries and strawberries

Ha, we must be on the same wavelength right now because I felt the same way this morning, even having gone to bed at the bright early hour of 9pm!!! I hit snooze a couple times too.

Good Morning Slightly better getting to bed at a somewhat decent hour and I am determined to get back to my normal time this evening..Completed Asylum 2's Upper Elite Class feeling amped up and ready for whatever the day brings..With that being said, I am going to head into work a little earlier to set up..Have a great day all, catch up with ya later

So happy that I went in early, another busy day at the beach..Only had a few bites of my lunch and that was it..By the time I actually remebered to put it in the cooler, it was already wilted so picked out some of the protein and  tossed the rest.. Needless to say I was pretty hungry, didn't hit me til I got to the grocery store so I purchased enough to get me through til Sunday..Well gonna get going so I can eat.. Good Evening!

Hey there V! I see you are back in the thick of things at home. I know what you mean about getting to bed at a normal hour. I tried last night, was in bed by 10:00 and up at midnight LOL. Watched a movie, then went back to bed and up at 6:00. I'm a little sleepy today.

Gotta get my sleep - I am an "at least 7 hour" girl! I can't believe your Nana was driving at 90! Geez, no one in my family ever has driven a car to that age. I can't imagine. Then there are those in cities like NY that have NEVER even had a driver's license, and I can't imagine that, either. Of course, the public transportation here is pretty bad. Just a bus line that is kind of iffy. So it's different when PT is effecient. Have a good evening!

Good Morning So I ended up not only tuning in to the ball drop in Times Square, I stayed up far past that..Just wasn't sleepy, guess it is going to take a few days to get back to my normal much earlier bedtime..Morning rolled around far too soon, abused the snooze button but still managed to get in 2 classes, "Pure Contact" and "Ab Shredder"..It was really nice to ge a nice sweaty workout in it's been 4 days, I was seriously suffering from withdrawl..

Like it or not, have to get ready for work..Mixed feelings about this since it should be my day off..On the one hand so not ready to go back,still feeling a bit off..Really need to hit the grocery store as well but on the other hand, I do need the cash and if it is really slow(which I suspect it will be) I can plead my case to get out of there if I am not needed.. Okay no more stalling, gotta just do this..I will catch you all later..Have a wonderful first day of the New Year

So the bar was alot busier than expected and my fellow co worker was not on his game today(hangover me thinks) Needless to say it was a good day but could have been alot better if he was more attentive to the folks he was tending to.. Anyhoo I didn't have much time to get a decent lunch before my shift and def didn't feel like grocery shopping so I got my basic neccesities to make my bfast and got a healthy alternative with my takeout dinner/snack meal..

Good evening all!!

S- 3 glasses of Chianti Reserva

D- Grilled Salmon atop spring mix, cucumber. 1/2 boiled egg, craisins, sprouts, blue cheese crumbles..Red wine vin and fresh squeezed lemons

S- Smoked hot wings

1/2 gallon of water..Casein shake(pre bedtime)

Everything changes--I know your family was glad to have you around despite seeing some declines. (I saw your grandmother is 90--I guess it doesn't matter to her what age she has to give up her license--it's the fact she had to give it up.) That especially sounds rough for you mom--I hope your brother can recover to being up and around once again.

Good Morning? Afternoon? Not sure..LOL Back in the Sunshine State, just got in this morning at 2 am.. Started out at the airport yesterday at 10:30 am ..They overbooked the seats on my flight and needed 20 volunteers to take the later flight out at 5 pm..Since I wasn't in that big of a rush decided to take the later flight and yes that free round trip ticket good for anywhere the airlines fly influenced my decision  The 10 dollar meal voucher was a joke though seeing as though it really doesn't get ya much...So the flight out of Chicago went well, on time and got to Atlanta boarded the connecting flight only to be taken off the plane due to a mechanical malunction..And to all the morons that complained about this minor inconvenience(trust there were plenty) Let's see take an extra 30 ish minutes to deplane and reboard a fully functional plane OR stay on the faulty one and take a chance on it falling out the sky...Hurrmm..Decisions Decisions..LOL

Needless to say I got in a lot later than expected.. My trip was pretty stressful, this was the first time that I was faced with the fact that my parents/ grandma are not going to live forever..None of us are  I know that but I guess health issues (nothing serious) seem to be a little more prevalent..

My Nana really seems really depressed about failing her mandatory road test as  result of that she no longer has her DL(I understand why she is bummed about this)..She is also having issues with her knee..The knee she had replaced works just fine but the other one is giving her grief..Because of her age, her doctor is iffy about operating on it and so is Nana.. She fell a few days before Christmas and thankfully no broken bones, but she  had a pretty wicked shiner on her right eye..My Dad moved in with her to help her out and keep her company..She lives a few streets down from my parent's house..She is a tough gal and very independent but I am a bit relieved knowing that my Dad is there with her..

My oldest brother(54) who has Down's Syndrome is doing really well health wise, still bed ridden and since my Mom refuses outside help with him, she pretty much his nurse, caregiver.. The doc comes to visit monthly, also a therapist weekly in hopes of getting him mobile again but my Mom often calls to cancel the appointments..She will never admit to it but this is really taking a toll on her own health. My brother outweighs her by almost double not to mention that she is 4'11 on a good day..All of the lifting is affecting her legs and back..I actually threw my back out a couple of times while  assisting her.. The rest of the siblings put in their fair share of helping her out on a daily basis so I gave them all a break during my visit..Needless to say I didn't workout nearly as much as I wanted to but I am okay with that..

I was going to  shop for groceries today but since I am scheduled to work tomorrow, I think I may just lay low today, unpack get a nap in and get a class done instead.. I have a few things I can pull out the freezer to tide me over for a few meals.. I am feeling a bit off, I have been constipated most of my trip(sorry this is far too much info, LOL)I am just thankful to be back and almost"regular" again..

Only 1/2 a day left til 2013!! No parties for me, just going to chill here this evening hopefully will be fast asleep far before the New Year comes in...

I have missed you all so much

as for my masterssss....I've got 12 more credits to go lol. SO Ill be done hopefully next December (a year left). Welcome back to florida! If i wasn't always in a rush I would have taken the flight too! Your ma sounds like a strong woman and I'm sure 2013 will be a good year for you and your family :) Happy New Year!!

I know this was a tough visit for you, sorry to hear that you're feeling off. I'm sure after a few days on your regular eating and exercise schedule you will be back in business. We are all feeling better here btw - were were all well by Christmas thankfully!

Yes, indeed, no doubt we are all getting older and more feeble! It is so hard to see our grandparents and parents aging right before our eyes. How old is your Nana? Is there a chance she might get her DL back? My mom is 78 and driving so much better after her catarac surgery. She still does not need to be driving in busy traffic, though! It must be a big blow to realize you aren't as independent as you once were. I once heard it said that life is a series of little losses, but my grandmother said you can look at it like that, or focus on what you have left and try to be content with it. This year has been a hard one without my dad. I am trying to accept that this is just part of the life cycle, parents take care of us when we are young, we take care of them when they are old, etc., but dang it's hard. I kind of liked the "status quo" of bygone years! God bless you in the New Year, V!

I'm really thankful that iPhone has "FaceTime" I miss her all the time! :) she is also trying to stay healthy.. I almost convinced her to make a diet diaries account but she hasn't yet. :( haha

Good Morning Ladies Who's a happy camper right now? Me!!!!!Officially on vacation, sitting at the airport in ATL, Had I known that I would have to wait for my connecting flight for so long, I def would have arranged a breakfast date with Sweetpea or Loveray.. No biggie, just a little bored but I am in not rush (have to keep reminding myself of this)

Good Morning..I am still pretty shook up about yesterday's tragedy.I went to bed really early and woke up around 3 am and it took a while to fall back to sleep..Thankfully I feel rested and I got in a Back and 6 pack class to release some negative energy..

It is really foggy out and it is expected to lift later this morning..Well I am going to get prepped for my last shift and it is 2 weeks of some quality time with my friends and family!

RYC- Aleve didn't touch it either but I didn't add to my entry that I was getting off of caffiene as well. Maybe next month. I have been avoiding reading too much about the tragedy. Thoses things really bother me. I got a call from a friend and the best advice I could give was that maybe us being grateful for our blessings was the most sense we could make out of such a tragedy.

Hey back from work and really bummed about the tragedy in Newtown Conn. My heart goes out for the families and victims of such a cowardly act.. Not going to go off on a tangent about what I really think of this guy that did this, trying not to add fuel to my anger so I will say have a wonderful evening, weekend everyone

Good Morning So last night I watched Chalene Johnson on Ustream live..She hosted a "favorite things" show from her kitchen with 20 of her friends(yeah her kitchen is huge,LOL) She openly admits that she is not a good cook at all stating that she burns soup, LOL Her hubby did all the cooking on the broadcast, mainly healthy appetizers as well as his famous turkey chili.She is also made "skinny margaritas"(her favorite) using the Jose Cuervo pre mixed lite version, cut the calories in half by adding club soda with muddled fresh raspberries and lime juice..Anyhoo that was an interesting twist and I def want to try it out..She also gave out some really cool gifts,"Bosu Ball", "Body Bugg", workout clothes, a skin care kit and  "Body Beast" (another beachbody program by Sagi)...All of her friends were salivating when she bought out her fave "Select Tech" weights and she said, "You think I am giving away these? I'm don't have Oprah money, maybe next year" LOL I was slightly bummed that she didn't gift the Ustreamers but she did have lots of helpful tips...

I went to bed fairly early again so I was well rested and actually gave Max Recovery class(speed yoga,LOL) another shot, and I got through it alot better without shoes..I can't believe I am saying this but I am actually looking forward to going to work today, probably because I have 3 more shifts til vacay!! haha

Well I better get going and prep for my day catch up with you all later, have a good one ladies

Back from my day..Started out really slow and it picked up a bit latter afternoon.. Had to stay a little bit later because my relief worked inside..Not too bad, still arrived home before sunset.. TOM arrived today and I am relieved that it will be almost over before my trip..I also had notice/symptoms so took the Aleve last night and so far no yucky feelings..Off to get some fuel and chillax.. Good Evening!

Good Morning I had an interesting afternoon yesterday..I became a little stir crazy so I went to the store a few blocks away to pick up a few travel toiletries and ran into a friend of mine.It's been a few since I have hung out with him so he invited me for a drink at my fave spot which happens to be next door to Walgreens..Had a few glasses of vino, chatted it up as a few of my coworkers trickled in..Before this became an all out booze fest,(I can guarantee it did, LOL) I made my departure since I didn't have much food in me at this point..

Had a bit to eat and bedtime came early for me..LOL I had a decent night's sleep,completed my Max Plyo class.. Now that I am all pumped up, there is a possibility that I may not work today since it is a really high chance of rain..I need the money but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I have an extra day off..LOL

Better get going, have to prep just in case..Have a stellar day all

Had the day off and wouldn't ya know, it never rained, well at least where I live. LOL I was expecting a call from my GM to say he had changed his mind but I was in the clear..Not that I really did anything fun or exciting, just napped since I was feeling a bit sluggish.. Added an Ab Shredder class this evening and off to get some fuel..Good Evening !
