Good Morning Today's class was Upper Elite..Man am I ever sore LOL!  Shaun T  truly gets insane with that burnout set at the end of the 60 minute class.. He says the work doesn't begin til you are tired..I concur!

It is raining like crazy here,I guess it will be a low key day after I go out to vote. That's cool, I really need to tidy up anyways, well at least mop my floor.. Hope you all have a wonderful day

Hey back from my day of leisure.. It stopped raining in the afternoon, by then I was already firmly planted in my recliner, watching "Blow" (Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz) I also mopped the floor after hours of procratinating.. LOL  It's not like it is alot of area to clean since most of my place is carpeted but the Swifter Mop ruined my floor with the wax buildup from 7 plus years of using it..The majority of the wax is gone but I have to get down and scrub it by hand, it is quite time consuming to say the least..

Well I am going to see how you all are and get some fuel.. Good Evening!

Enjoy your rainy day! The rain came in spurts from yesterday afternoon to really hard bands last night. But it looks like it is over and brought the temps down to the 60's. I stayed up way too late watching the Saints last night but at least it was worth it!! LSU has me scared to go to bed even if we are winning with only 1 minute left, so I didn't want to miss anything! I'll pay for that today...Have a great day!

Yeah, the Saints game was fun! I am going to put down a bed of chilled iceberg lettuce and mound the lump crabmeat down the center. Around it will be tomato wedges, avocado slices, chilled boiled egg quarters, some black olives and then the Louis Dressing on the side for dipping. I'm on the hunt at lunch for ripe avocado because I did not pick them up Sunday. If she picks the oyster bar, I will make the salad for dinner tomorrow night. Thursday is my 26th anniversary and I don't know what we are going to do yet. I kind of forgot...

Thanks! A lot of really good things have happened lately. And yes, if the changes are made that I think will need to be made, it'll make life a lot more tolerable here. As far as a time frame, it could take awhile. I had assumed they would want someone in before session starts in January...but I have nothing really to go off of that, and it could take months.

Enjoy your relaxing rainy days...sometimes those are the best!

Fear and Loathing is classic! The other movie consists of Johnny Depp and lots of great cinematography - there's hardly any dialogue. True weirdness :P Let's not forget Cry Baby (or any John Waters movie) and pretty much any Tim Burton film - love me some JD and I don't care about the whole Keith Richards thing LOL!

Good Morning ladies We had such a good time doing the makeovers on Saturday evening. The girls loved their glammed up hair and nails..It was so funny to hear the gabbings of five 8 year olds..Awww to be that young and innocent. .. The girls stayed up far later than our expectations and I couldn't believe they actually spent the night in the tent set up in the backyard since they did alot of screaming at the shadows and noises once nightfall hit, Hahaha..I didn't stay since I was really wiped from my long day and I was getting eaten alive by mosquitos..By midnight, they were all a little cranky, fighting the fact that they were sleepy and no one wanted to admit to it..And then the bickering and tears came, that was my cue to depart..LOL

Yesterday I spent the day regrouping,after a trip to get groceries..I pretty much napped the day away, and practiced on the agility ladder drills late afternoon...The time change had me feeling a bit off. By 9pm I was wiped ended up sleeping in my Lazy Boy recliner til 3, and fell right back to sleep when I crawled in bed..

Got up at the usual time feeling refreshed and ready for X Trainer... Practicing yesterday really helped with my agility skills in the ladder, I only had to drop for extra  pushups once during the hour long class.. I plan to practice the skills again before Saturday so I will be ready to crush "The Audition"(fit test)

Well I am going to keep the momentum going and get my laundry done ASAP! Hoping  you all have a happy healthy start to your week

Got most of my needful things done today, The rest will have to wait til tomorow. At least I have clean clothes and my meals for the week are made or prepped..  I added an Ab Shredder class this evening and off to see how you all are and get some fuel..  Good Evening all!

Your little girl camping sounded fun too!! RYC, yes ma'am, that is an 8 month old baby that stayed with us. It was 3 girls (50+) my dog and the baby and then my friend came one night with her dog but was sick and left. The baby was great, but it's a sad story. Her son and wife had the baby and it was born addicted to heroin, marijuana and alcohol. The hospital jailed the parents and called her to take the baby from the hospital or he would be turned over as a ward of the state. So at 55 years old she has had the baby for 8 months. He was detoxed in the hospital but it is been really hard. She intended to put him up for adoption, but I think she is too attached to do that. Her son is back in jail for robbery and the wife is in a halfway house and neither have done anything to meet the requirements to get the baby back. We all know the baby will be better off with loving parents who will nurture him. But she needed this trip more that anybody and the baby was great and I think he enjoyed it too!!

Good Morning Got up bright(or shall I say dark, LOL) and early for "Championship/Sudden Death" class..It was killer but I was slightly disapponted that there were not as many sport events as "Game Day" The "Audition"(Fit Test) at the end of class was all of the combined agility ladder skills..I have LOTS of work to do getting my footwork perfected, I was all over the place, LOL!

After my shift I am going over my friend's place to help out my friend who is throwing a Spa Evening/Birthday party for her 9 yo daughter, this should be fun

Good Morning Todays class was a 30 minute stretch and I def needed it. Unlike Asylum 1, This program has 2 stretch/rest days per week and the classes are scheduled the same throughout the program and every Saturday is "Championship Day".

It is a nice morning temp wise 60 degrees and highs are expected in the upper 70's ..  Looking at the sky cams at the beach, it's foggy but I am sure one that sun gets up there it will burn it all off..Hoping for a busy shift.. Off to prep for my day, Happy Friday all

Hey all, work was busy, a little stressful at the end but thank goodness it is over and one more shift before my weekend begins!  Hope you all have a great weekend!

Good Morning   Today's class was Back and 6 pack..Loved it..Sure I am a little sore but that means progress! I like that weights are implemented in every workout so far(except for stretch) I am interested in seeing what the "Championship"(Game Day) is all about..I will soon find out on Saturday. This go round, Shaun T. mixes it up adding the "Fit Test" at the end of the 60 minute Championship class.. Oh JOY! LOL

Well I am going to get prepped for work, temps are supposed to be a little warmer than yesterday so hopefully it will be a good one.. Have a good day all

Good Morning Power Legs was on tap, I got up earlier in anticipation of having to go back through some of the moves..55 minute class,weights, lower body band as well as the agility ladder was used..Although there were no pushups, we still did some plank work and he added extra time to each exercise  if anyone(including him) hit the ladder..LOL  I am def going to have to practice my footwork with the agility skills, it would be helpful if I actually watched the tutorial. I wouldn't say that this class is easy but so far this is the least brutal class...Hahaha

The overnight temps were chilly and i remembered to close the windows but I still woke up with the sniffles so I will be chugging " Cold Stop" tea today in hopes of nipping it in the bud..Well I better keep it moving and prep for work..I will catch you with ya later, have an awesome day all

Hey my first day back this week wasn't a painful or chaotic, partly due to the fact that the Bar was closed yesterday and closed super early Sunday and Monday due to high winds and cooler temps.. It was kinda quiet on the beach today, usually slow on Halloween but I fared well.. So far the tea has helped, no more sniffles!  I was feeling a tad bit sore so I tried out the new Stretch class after work..  Now it is time to chillax, good evening!

Yes, we got really lucky! One of my best friend's parents live in Staten Island, and her dad ended up staying and is now stuck on the second floor of their house. It's so scary.

The interview is Monday... I'm crossing fingers.

I hope you don't get sick! And GREAT job on the early morning workout!! You are my inspiration.

Good Morning Not used to the evening hardcore workout like yesterday, I suffered serious afterburn and it took a long time to fall asleep..I slept like a rock when I finally drifted off..I slept in a little later before completing Upper Elite class..60 minutes of upper body training using weights, jump rope and agility ladder..Once again with the pushup marathon..LOL It was brutal, especially the "Burnout" at the end..I had to rewind a few times to make sure my form was on point throughout the workout since Shaun T doesn't mess around in Asylum 2, it is non stop action, I am not even sure if we stretched at the beginning? Hahaha..The coolest part was seeing my friend/fellow beachbody coach Danielle, rocking it out in this DVD..

Man this storm has certainly caused some major damage to the Northeast..Lots of people are without power..Our local power company are sending crews up there as well as McDill AF sending planes to assist anyone that needs to evacuate..Sending prayers and positive thoughts for the DDer's as well as the rest affected by Sandy

Had a pretty low key day of channel surfing, reading my A2 material and a tiny nap and decided to try out the new ab routine that came along with the program "Ab Shredder"  It should have been called Screamer..LOL 20 minute class and it def gets the job done.

Off to see how you all are, get some fuel and attempt to wind the evening down early tonight.. Have a wonderful evening all!

Last year when I was trying to eat vegan I used the unsweetened almond/coconut in my iced coffee from dunkin donuts and I got used to it and kind of liked it, so I think I will try that and just retrain myself away from the creaminess of the high fat dairy!

Wow I have been away for a while, I guess I should have noticed from your posts no coffee, but from what I remember you were TOTALLY a coffee person! Good for you:)

Good job on the rough evening workout! That really set your mind in motion. I marvel at how you can crank out those push ups. Maybe one day I will too, baby steps, baby steps!!! I'm glad the Florida energy group can help the NE out, they have always been helpful after an event for us. I hope New Orleans doesn't' try to help them because they will postpone them an extra 3 weeks - extremely incompetent! Have a great day!!

Good Morning I was up pretty late last night watching a movies..I figure i might as well get my money's worth from cable, also I since I don't have my program just yet, I can't do my workout until it arrives..It is on the truck for delivery so hopefully I won't have to wait too long for it. I am really antsy to get in a workout after my week of "Recovery Classes" but I dare not add an extra workout from my library, I am sure I will need to reserve the ya yas for whatever class is on tap for today..

The temps have finally cooled off here, right now it is 59 degrees, since we are still experiencing wind gusts from the outer bands of Sandy the high today is 69.. It's crazy how this storm is far away from Florida and we are still getting remnants from it..Hoping that all of you that live up North are safe and sound..

Well I might as well get my laundry out the way soon..Have a happy healthy start to your week

Hey back from my day..So I stalled the trip to do laundry trying to figure out if I had requested that if I wasn't home for the Fed Ex guy to leave the package at my door so I called them to make sure..Satified that the would leave it, I went about my chores arrived home still no package.. I got all my meals for the week made and prepped, and voila package arrived..I ripped it open, game on!! First class  was X Trainer.. It blew my wig back! Hahahaha.. Little bit of everything, lots of work on the agility ladder, weight training and YES  hella pushups.. "Moving Matrix Pushups" were friggin redonkulous as well as the one arm ones..I even did extras when I hit that darn agilty ladder, even Shaun T got tangled up and had to drop for 20 a few times.. I can't wait to see what's in store for tomorrow's class

I got my ticket home for Christmas..I was going to wait a bit but Air Tran is having an amazing sale and I am so happy I booked when I did, some of those flights were 500 bucks or MORE  one way.. I paid less than half of that for a round trip flight..

Well I am off to see how you all are and get some fuel..I need it after that ass kicking Shaun T. served up..LOL  Good evening!

Good Morning Boy was it ever windy last night, I am sure it was even worse on the Atlantic side of Hurricane Sandy..Sandy has now been dubbed "Frankenstorm" because it is expected to head up somewhere between D.C. and Boston where it will become a Noreaster..

Completed my last Cardio Core and Balance class, for recovery week. I am so excited to start Asylum 2 on Monday!!!! I am anxiously awaiting the package to arrive..I was supposed to order it last week but I had that unexpected tire issue so I had to use my funds for Asylum to replace my tire..It is neat that you can track the package, I have been stalking/ checking for the past few days and now it is in the sorting facility in Tampa..Hopefully it will be here when I get home from work...

Speaking of work, I better keep it moving, hopefully it isn't too windy on the beach today..Catch ya later, have an awesome Saturday

Back home and NO package I am bumming.. I wanted to at least peruse the nutrition guide as well as the tutorial before I take the plunge...Que Sera..I will either double up on Tuesday if needed and wing it as far as my meal plan for next week

Good Morning Restful night of sleep that was interrupted by a drunk dial..No I didn't pick up the phone but since it was my ex cowoker Jim, I am sure the conversation wouldn't have made much sense to anyone but him..He was fired a few weeks ago after numerous warnings as well as an offer to send him to rehab along with a promise that he would still have a job afterwards but he didn't take my GM up on his offer/help...I feel sorry for him because he truly is a nice guy but his alcohol  addiction has a firm grip on him and it doesn't help that his girlfriend is an addict as well ...

Anyhoo I completed Cardio Core and Balance class and off to prep for work..Hoping to have another good shift today..Happy Friday all, catch ya later

Hey backfrom a super breezy day..It wasn't nearly as busy as yesterday, partly due to the lack of shade..We had to pull most of the umbrellas off the tables so they wouldn't snap in half..Wind was gusting 20-35 mph during my shift..We still fared pretty well despite of it all.. Came home, took a 20 minute power nap before completing Cardio Abs.. Pretty hungry so I am going to catch up with you all and get some fuel..Have a great weekend, good night!

S- Grapefruit

D- Broiled Chicken Breast, Whole Grain Brown Rice, au jus.. Steamed Cauliflower and Spinach

1 1/2 gallons of water... Lf cottage cheese with blueberries(pre bedtime)

Progress as of today: 93 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

That is truly too bad that he wouldn't take your GM up on his offer of help/job. I hope losing his job won't make him spiral down even more; it's always hard to watch that happen to someone who is a nice person at heart.

Boy, that's too bad for your former co-worker. He doesn't realize the extent of his problem which is the first part to begin fixing it. How are the winds by you? Must really be whipping up as we have them here today and yesterday. I can only imagine being on the coast how strong they are. As you can see by my post, so much is going on, sometimes I cannot think straight but as I tell my kids, "this too shall pass". Hope you are doing well and having a good day. Regards,
