Good Morning ladies A little bored with CCB class I did Cardio Recovery class..I forgot how Shaun T doesn't know the meaning of "recovery" in this speed yogaesce class.. It rained here all night and into the wee hours, super cloudy here now, the sun has yet to make it's appearance but at least it has cooled off the area, with a high of 87!! (that's a cold front, LOL) Hopefully I will have busy day..

Well I better get going so I can get prepped for my day..Have a happy healthy day all

Hey all! Work was slow to start and it picked up a little. Nothing exciting but the day dragged big time..Well I am off to see how you all are and get some fuel.

Hey, I've been meaning to ask you if you would ever consider doing a P90X+ Insanity hybrid schedule? I believe that all of the P90X cardio workouts are replaced with Insanity workouts. Its something I have thought about doing one day

Hi V: It's a very humid day here in Kissimmee today. Hubby was subbing at son's elementary school in St. Cloud so that meant I had to do all of the lawn work myself. Boy did I sweat up a storm. Hopefully that will help with tomorrow's WW weigh in. Hope you're having a good day and the sun comes out in your neck of the woods. Regards.

Good Morning all I just finished up Core Cardio and Balance class to kick off the morning..It finally stopped raining as the sun came up and there are still a few storms out in the gulf..Hopefully this will not head this way but it kinda looks like it..Well I better keep it moving and get cleaned up.. Regardless of the outcome I am def getting out of the house, I am a bit stir crazy! LOL

Hey back from work! It never rained thankfully and I guess alot of people were stir crazy as well because i got the majority of the biz outside! Besides my bar back, it was a solo mission so we had an awesome day!  I completed a Cardio Abs class and off to read some diaries and get some fuel..Hope you all had a good one as well!

During/post workout   L-Glutamine

B- Almond Breeze shake with whey protein, 1/2 banana, blueberries and strawberries

L- Chicken Breast with cheddar jack, lettuce tomato on bun.. Cole slaw

S- Hummus with crackers

D- Red Beans and whole grain brown rice..Steamed Broccoli and Cauliflower..2 Glasses of Cupcake(red blend)

Gallon of water..LF Cottage cheese(pre bedtime)

When I visited my aunt in Fla, she would get storms that lasted maybe an hour and then it was like they never were there at all. Is that not what it is like where you are? She lived in Bradenton BTW. I hope you have a great day.

Thanks for comment. What I try to do is small muscles 3x/week, so that means resistance machines at gym followed by strength training at home on the same day. Otherwise, I'd do them on different days. This makes for a really packed day though. Sigh. Working on a plan though. Thanks!

Good Morning Ladies  I just finished up Core Cardio and Balance class with a decent rainshower as my backdrop..I has been storming here since the wee hours..It has calmed down a bit but it looks more like sundown than 9 am.. Still not going to let that ruin my last day off for the week, I am sure I can find some trouble to get into..Just kidding or am I?? LOL

Back from a super rainy day of boredom..After a fruitless effort of waiting it out, only to find conditions getting worse, I faced the fact that leaving the house was not an option since it was storming something fierce(still storming now) Not that I had a particular place to go but oh well! LOL

I ended the day with a Relief class, off to see how goes it with you all and get some fuel..

During/post workout- L Glutamine

The weather is gorgeous here so maybe you will get it soon! Low humidity and 79 degrees! Ok, girl, did the beans taste as good as they smelled? I add extra hot sauce at the table because my Mom can't handle too spicy and ours were pretty tasty last night! Trying to squeeze a ride in even though I am fighting a stress headache. How did you spend your day off?

RYC: my daughter wears a size larger shoes and she doesn't have cute girly shoes.... she likes all star snickers and that seems to be all that she wears, haha. I did borrow her snickers once. I wanted to buy shoes here but they are too expensive (very expensive!) and it's nearly impossible to find my size. They are all tiny, here.

Good Morning Ladies  I was up far too late watching football and chatting it up on the phone with my BFF from Chicago, talking about the games and guys of course..LOL I slept in til 7 and got in a Core Cardio and Balance class.. It was nice to get a decent sweat on and the 7 Tracy Anderson arm routine made the last exercise"shoulder burner in plie" alot easier!

Anyhoo I am trying not to stall the inevitable trip to the laundry, I want to get this out the way soon so I better get to it.

Hey ladies! Back from a day of cleaning and prep work for this week's meals Love the cooking part since it is indeed a labor of love but cleaning, not so much..LOL  I am so thrilled that thenewMLE shared with me her famous "Red Beans" recipe with me Thanks girl!!  It looks and smells DEEELISH!

I added a Cardio Abs class this evening..I have to admit to suffering from withdrawls from the Insane side to Shaun T..I so miss the yelling, not just from him, me as well..LOL  Really miss hearing him say " You have to get in and go and you have to and Live in it" Hurrah and Amen! I will live in it forever and a day!..With that being said, I am super pumped to start up round 2 of Insanity next Monday

Well i am off to catch up with you all and get some fuel before Monday Night Football.. Broncos are playing Sweetpea's Falcons!  Have a stellar evening all.

Now you sound like a REAL New Orleanian!! We always serve red beans on a Monday because they could slow cook while we spent the day doing laundry!! Of course this is from the old days where laundry was hand washed and dried outside on a line, but we still continue the tradition. How many pounds of beans are you doing? If you do all four and freeze them, make sure you have a BIG oval pot that covers 2 burners. It will fill it up!! Yeah, football sucked for the Saints this weekend. I guess no hometown team for SuperBowl this year...

Good Morning Ladies I had a nice start to the morning with a Relief class after sleeping in a little longer than the norm.. Well the temps are slightly warmer today but it is a bit breezy so hopefully this will be a good day for us..Gotta get prepped for work so I will chat with you all later, Happy Friday

back from my day and man was it a hot one.. The breeze was at a standstill at the beach and it was brutal..Still had my regulars that came through and I did okay..

The "Skankasaurus" was there and when she tried to approach, I told her to save it, didn't want to rehash the previous day's events and walked on by the hooker (yep you read that right) LOL

I did a Cardio Abs class minus the jumps and now I am off to catch up with you while my veggies steam..Hope you all had a good one!

RYQ, it's not my preferred wakeup time but since I have to be up I'm making the most of it. I feel like I'm getting a lot more done earlier in the day, but the downside is i'm beat by mid-late afternoon. We're all going to bed earlier so that helps. Oh and Jake is NOT liking the early morning wakeups, I have to rip the covers off him every morning and practically pull him out of bed. Nate springs right up though and seems to like the new schedule. Of course he still naps when he feels like it!

Good for you! These people are a dime a dozen unfortunately and they're never gonna get it--they're untrainable. She sounds like a piece of work--ugh! Unfortunately sometimes they get moved directly into management.

RYC: hahaha, until I read your comment I didn't realize how someone could read another meaning--as in "She sits up there and acts like her .... doesn't stink!" You made my day! I of course have never had the luxury of being so oblivious:-)

But . . . the reality of this way of eating (and I didn't believe it until I went those eight days eating strictly veg/starch back in January) is that it doesn't smell. Literally.

Okay, now I think we can turn off the bathroom talk at least in your diary--I hope you didn't mind too much!

I'm too full to drool over your dinner, but I would if I could! I went to my favorite sushi place with my friend and after we at our last piece we watched the sushi chef sear a Cajun tuna tataki. The tuna was awesome tonight - deep garnet in color. Where do you get your seafood? Enjoy what's left of your evening!

Jessica Ennis with the killer abs is English, so she wasn't in the Glasgow parade (I would have been there if she was!). There was a huge parade last week in London with all the participants - 1 million people lined the route. Wish I could have gone.

I'll keep skankasorous in mind for future use! LOL.

Good Morning Ladies So I wanted to get the blood pumping without over doing it so I did  an Upper 20 class.. A  nice, dare I say "cool" breeze coming from my open windows as I worked out..I am sure temps will heat up once that sun gets up there(high in the 90's today) but there is a glimmer of hope that fall will arrive soon?? Hahaha..Well I better get moving so I will chat with you all later..Have a Stellar Day all

Hey all, back from my day and it was actually decent enough to get the majority of the business that came in.. During my shift the miserable whiner that works downstairs decided to stir the pot a bit becasue she wasn't making enough money so she went to the managers and told them that I was in over my head(with 4 tables mind you, I can do that in my sleep)

Needless to say I was quite ticked that she would dare slanderize me..Don't get me wrong, I am far from perfect but I am far more capable of handling crowds. I let her have it ..Not really proud of some of the expletives that came out of my mouth and some of this stuff just rolled off my tongue without batting my eyes..Not sure of everything I said but I called her a "Skankasaurus"  LOL

I usually let things roll off my back but I had to let this broad know that I am not the one to mess with.. To quote Grandmaster Flash "Don't push me cause I'm close to the edge, I.m trying not to lose my head..It's like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder how I keep from going under" Ha ha! Hollybelle can finish the rest for me..

I decided to leave becasue of the toxic level of anger I was in at that moment.. I knew if I stayed I would have took one for the team since no one likes this pathetic woman(using woman loosely here) She bullies everyone there but not V, I am  not a pushover and she knows this now..

Moral of this story is to stay calm but I couldn't so I was the better person in my decision to leave for the day since my head was filled with evil at this point (still making  more cheddar than she did)  

I got a call   later  from a coworker that she had a $60  walkout that she had to pay for, talk about Karma.. WINNING

Really wound up, I did my 7 min Tracy Anderson workout and 20 Minute Mystic Yoga..  I hope you all had a  good one!  Sorry for the rant.. Have a good evening!

And the $60 walkout she had to cover....hate to wish bad things on anyone, I usually just leave vengence up to the Lord, and figure it happens - even if I don't know it - but hey, God seems to have worked FAST on that one. A good lesson on trusting Him for us, I think. :-)

Good Morning Ladies I just completed a Core Cardio and Balance class and back to work today..So far the temps are really nice, slightly cooler, 76 right now but it is expected to be in the 90's later..Hopefully fall will arrive sooner than later.. Well I better keep moving so I can get prepped for my day, hope you all have a stellar one

Back from my day..It was in such dissarray that I didn't mind not being a little slow to start, it gave me the opportunity to put everything back in it's proper place..It was brutally hot out there as well.. Since it was a solo mission today, I fared pretty well for as slow as it was..

I added a Cardio Abs class(omitting the first 3 minutes of jumps since it is recovery week) Going to catch up with you all and get some fuel.. Good Evening all!

S- Clam Chowder

I am sure at some point I will want to do this again but I have alot of other programs like Asylum2(not yet released)  and Combat(due to be released in Oct.) that I can't wait to try, especially COMBAT. It is a mixed martial arts program and it is badass! LOL

(Building a stronger body/ Asylum Program)

Good Morning Ladies I had a late start to my Speed and Agility Class this morning, slept til 7 since it was dark and raining. Perfect for sleeping in! With my last full class of the program under my belt, all I have left is the fit test tomorrow...I am going to finish up the rest of the week by filling it with recovery classes as well as next week..Shaun T suggests taking a week or two off before starting up another program since this one was super intense...

Anyhoo I am going to get my laundry out the way soon, as much as I detest this chore, it must be done! LOL  Hope you all have a happy healthy start to your week

Hey back from a day of well needed cleaning chores (everything but the bedroom, I did laundry so the floor is clear of clothes so that is a major victory!)..Hating Life while cleaning but now I have tomorrow to do whatever I want.. All of my meals for the week are prepped, made, bagged and tagged..Dishes, done!

Ended the day adding a Cardio Abs Class as well as the killer 7 minute arm routine by Tracy Anderson..Off to catch up with you all and get some fuel. Hope your day was a stellar one!

During/post workout  L Glutamine

B- Almond breeze shake with whey protein, 1/2 banana and strawberries

L- Eggwhite omelet with smoked turkey sausage and Jalapeno Jack..1 "Virgin Mary"

D- Blue Cheese Burger, sauteed baby bella shrooms, horseradish mustard with bun..Steamed Broccoli and Cauliflower..2 Glasses of Menage a Trois(red)

Gallon of water..Casein Shake(pre bedtime)

Progress as of today: 93 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

Hey Girl!!! I got your red beans yesterday!! I found a 4 pound bag for only $5.50 at Restaurant Depot. It's the Camelia brand which is the only bean New Orleanians like to use! I am going to try and drop ship it through work and I will include my recipe if you like. Email or FB me your address. They are dry beans so you can use as much as you want at a time and just store the rest in a ball jar. Dry beans last a long time. Congrats on completing your class. Will you really take the time off as suggested? You're such a work out beast I can't imagine you with "idle" time!!! Have a great week!

So, Insanity, round two is next. What will you do after that? Body Beast?? Have you thought about doing one of Shaun's easier programs like Hip Hop Abs? It looks like a lot of fun. :)

I've added the Tracy workout to my 3 x week strength training. Did it today and noticed there was only one time I felt my arms were seriously yelling at me to stop!

You're done with Asylum? Woo-Hoo - you are the ONLY person I know who has done this one! I think a week or two off or doing recovery exercise is advisable, for sure. Congratulations.

Yes, laundry stinks but I use it and housecleaning time to listen to books on auido (I have a membership to audible.com) and/or other "person building" stuff. I find cleaning gives me time to think about problems that I am struggling with and it is even therapeutic (in an odd way). Funny, as I type this, I realize that working out is the same for me. I MUST need a lot of therapy. I guess most do. hehe.
