Good morning Ladies Max cardio class today, got through the entire minute of plank punches..Yipeee..LOL There are other moves to master in the next few weeks.. Well I better keep it moving so I can prep for my day.. Have a happy healthy day all

Hey what a steamy day at the beach..It was pretty slow in general but still a decent day.. I opted out early after my regulars left the bar, had a quick power nap before my Cardio Abs class..I am going to catch up with you lovely ladies here, get some fuel.. Sending out thoughts and prayers for the victims and families in Colorado

During/post workout- L-Glutamine

B- Whey Protein shake with water, 1/3 banana, blueberries and strawberries

L- Quiche, Wild Rice, Corn

D- Lean Turkey, Jalapeno, Parm Loaf with sf pizza sauce..Quinoa pilaf.. Steamed Cauliflower and Broccoli.. 2 Glasses of Red Blend

1 1/2 gallons of water...LF Cottage Cheese(pre bedtime)

You are a plank master my friend! You know, I used to be able to side plank something fierce when I was doing yoga regularly. Then during Brazil I got weaker in this area (although maybe I was building other muscles?) I'm thinking it's more of a balance thing - if I don't have to work as hard on the balance I can hold the pose longer. Anywho, I'm hoping to improve in this area once again with regular yoga. Good Morning Ladies Just finished up my Max Recovery class got through the pushup marathon better this time since I knew what to expect, still had to go to my knees for the side plank to pushup move for the last round..The ab work at the end helped ease some of the cramping from TOM that made it's arrival yesterday...

The sun made it's appearance this morning! Yayyyy I am hoping for a rain free aftenoon and it looks really promising right now.. Well I better keep it moving so I will chat with you all later, have a good day

Hey first day back at the helm of my bar..It didn't take long for the temps to soar after the unexpected "cold snap"(not really but for Florida standards in July it was, LOL) It was a pretty slow day but it beats being inside or bored to tears so I won't complain..

So I was feeling a little sore and I got in the second portion of YogaX  for the extra stretch.Now I am off to see what's up with you guys and get some fuel, extra hungry..Have a good evening all

A pushup marathon sounds brutal! I can barely do them. I was just thinking on my way to work today how I should start doing pushups at home on my own, every day. It's a real challenge at the gym whenver the trainer has me do them. I'd love to get better at it...and by that I mean being able to do 5 pushups! No marathon for me!

Ouch, I am hurting today! I think the last couple of weeks have caught up to me LOL. Glad you got your social interaction quota yesterday, even though you were in the middle of a whine fest! Too funny! It gets bad here at work too; only a couple of guys work in our office group, so it's only a matter of time before the girls start bickering between themselves!

Good Morning Ladies  Man it rained all night again, not like Monday/Tuesday..No interruptions in sleep so that was a plus.. I got my Max plyo class in currently waiting to stop sweating profusely...Great workout!! Not so great that it is raining like crazy here  Dare I say that I hope that they need me to work inside, if not at least go in, pick up my check and get a little social interaction..Yep that is how bored I am..LOL   I am off to get cleaned up, catch up with you all later, have a Happy Healthy Day

Hey back from my day..I def got my fair share of social interation today..When I got the call to come in to work inside, I was elated..I went in early as I do for my outside bar shifts and it was cool just to chat it up with the kitchen guys..When the rest of the floor staff arrived, I was slightly disappointed that it was an Estrogen fest and MAN the nitpicky incessant chatter doesn't stop.. Not to sound insensitive but I am used to working with 1 or 2 others tops(most of the time it is a guy) so this is something I am not very familiar with...After we opened, I steered clear of the gab/whine fest and hung out with my customers.. Upon my arrival home, I added a Cardio Ab class.. I am going to check in with you all and get some fuel..Hope your day was a good one!

During/Post wokout- L- Glutamine

B- Almond breeze shake with whey protein, 1/3 banana, blueberries and strawberries

S- Kicking Crab Soup with WW wild rice and 2 crackers

Hahaha I love your comment on my post-- my boobs definitely went first, too. But since I didn't have much to begin with, I can't say I'm too dissapointed. lol. Wedding planning is going OK, we have a hall, a church, and a DJ. We REALLY need to get on getting a photographer but I'm SO picky when it comes to pictures that I think I will have a hard time with that. My goal is to do it before Labor Day! How is everything with you???

Good Morning Ladies  After watching American Ninja Warrior last night really fired up from yelling at the TV like a psycho a little concerned about falling asleep shortly afterwards, it did take a while to settle in..I slept well that was until the storm that rolled through around 3 am It was some fierce lightning  really close by and the thunder shook the windows.. This lasted for almost 2 hours..I did manage to sneak in a little more sleep between the severe stuff..I completed my Max Interval class on schedule.. Pumped up now.. I repped out alot more Suicide side oblique moves as well as the plank punches..

I am checking out the forecast for this afternoon and it really doesn't look promising..Right now it is dry and the sun is trying to peek out through the clouds but there are some storms brewing out in the gulf... I still have to get prepped just in case.. Have a good day all

Hey all back from a very boring day..LOL  It didn't rain nearly as bad as expected, in hindsight we could have actually opened the bar but as "Ole Blue Eyes" sings "That's Life"  Determined not to let the television entertain me all day, I got out for a bit, knocked out a few more crossword puzzles(almost caught up from last week), had a tiny cat nap before doing a Yoga class that Skip Jennings(from ChaLEAN Extreme videos) posted a couple a days ago..It is a 20 minute class that was quick, straight to the point, more importantly will not effect my performance of my Max Plyo class tomorrow..I really needed that extended stretch, worked out alot of kinks..I will def add this more during the week since I need to stretch out the muscles more..Flexibility prevents injury and eases soreness a bit!  Off to catch up with you all and get some fuel..

During/ Post workout- L-Glutamine

B- Almond Breeze shake with whey protein, 1/3 banana, strawberries and blueberries

L- Quiche

I can picture you yelling at the TV! RYC - not sure what he is planning to do since, as he put it the surprise factor is tough in this case as it's the worst kept secret in town. It's been leaked by Will's sisters, friends and even (by accident) the jewelrer who sold Will the stone for the ring (he's a friend). They are going out to dinner at a nice restaurant tomorrow night for her birthday and then they are going to NC for a couple of days in a week or so - so I guess it could be either time. ;)

I love it that you are working on your strength AND your flexibility as well. So many people forget that flexibility is part of a healthy body. Good Morning Ladies Got my Max Cardio Conditioning class completed bright and early this morning..It was a good sweaty one, I pushed through some of the tougher drills like the football sprint to low plank hold and got in a few more reps than last week...Anyhoo now that I am officially fired up, I better keep the momentum and get the chores out the way so I can enjoy the rest of my day..Hope you all have a happy, healthy start to your week

Hey back from my day..Actually I never left the house today, it was hella stormy all morning thru late afternoon.. I wasn't really feeling the whole laundry thing anyways...LOL  It was ashamed to waste all my energy pacing from boredom.. I finally accepted the fact that as long as it was lightning like crazy, I was def staying put.. I did a little cleaning around the house (YAWN), caught up with last week's pile of crossword puzzles from the paper and Checked out "The Rose"(Bette Midler)..Although I have seen this movie more than a few times, I always hope for a different ending...LOL

Anyhoo I got this week's meals made, bagged and tagged, and added a Cardio Abs class.. Off to check out how your day went, get some fuel before American Ninja Warrior tonight!! WOOHOOT!  have a good evening!

There for a moment I thought you were telling us your age! hahahahaha! Seriously that is a terrific quote. I may have to print and carry with me. This is actually the answer to our questions about yo-yoing and dissapointment when we gain the weight back AGAIN (me). As I review the parts of this one by one I think the one I have the most problem with is Purpose-the reason why. Health is motivating and I am healthy - ish. I want to take it to the next level and maintain that, though. Just a little further - 10-12 pounds less and more strength and stamina. I don't know if it's because I am "good enough" or if I'm just out of steam with all the demands of life??? Excuses? Maybe.....

hey there! yes, i have one sister, 3 yrs younger who lives with her bf in NYC. They've been together a long time, about 3 yrs. We haven't been that close as we don't agree on many things, but I think things are starting to look up between her and me. :) Also, as she is in the city, we don't get together all that often, always for family things like bdays and holidays though.

Good Morning Ladies I got my Max Interval Circuit class in bright and early this morning.. I improved my reps with the Plank Punches and the Suicide side plank oblique move..Def room for improvement though, that is why I love this program because at any level of fitness there is a great sense of pride knowing that you gave it your all and getting stronger with each class!

Hey girl! In between storms right now. I stopped at the cycle shop on the way home to see if they still had the padded skorts 50% off. When I bought my bike in January, holly told me to invest in padded riding gear and when I saw those, that's what I wanted. Well I grabbed an XL because that's what I always used to wear, but after 3 weeks of walking and dieting I was already down 7 pounds so the legs were somewhat loose. I went to get a L, but they didn't have any so my hubby convinced me to squeeze my a$$ in a medium since they were spandex and that's what I bought even with the fat rolls muffining over the top. His point was if I kept riding they would eventually fit. Well 6 months later, they do fit, but I thought they might just be stretched out from 5 times a week use! So I stopped by there on the way home and that rack was still there! And the lonely XL was still there and an entire rack of S and XS but I found the only M on the rack! Cha ching! So on the way home I treated myself to take home sushi from my fav place. I got a fresh salmon box and a roll with fresh tuna, avocado, and spicy sesame seeds on the outside. I'll let you know how the caramel goes. I'm looking for some inspiration for this week. I think your quiche will make the menu! Have a un weekend and I hope you dry out a little!

Good Morning Ladies Just kidding!! This morning brought about internet connection issues from the overnight storms.. This morning's class was Max Recovery..True to form, this class was eaiser from the other Max classes but a bit of a "Speed Yoga" meets pushup marathon..LOL I took more breaks in this class due to all of the plank work today and of course yesterday..Making a mental note NEVER to do the 35 minute ab class( that has just as much plank work) the day before Max Recovery.. I imagine my arms are going to be super pumped by the end of this program..LOL

Work was a little buisier today and although the ominous clouds loomed over us all day, thankfully no rain..Well I am off to catch up with you all and get some fuel..I hope you all had a happy healthy day

Good Morning Ladies So today's class was Max Cardio Conditioning..It was a shorter class 48 minutes however, besides the water break after the stretch, it was non stop drills with "active recovery moves". Lots of core/ pushup/plankwork in this one as well..he did add a few more basketball and boxing drills..Loved the squat/speedbag move at the end, KILLER..LOL.. Well I am off to prep for work. Hey back from my loooooooong day..I had to open and close since the rain came in a litte earlier today..I kinda anticipated doing this so I didn't fully set up the bar like I normally do..Actually i was out the door quicker than the shift change would have been and the rain held out til I arrived home...I added an Insane Abs class(33 minutes) ..I hope this doesn't come back to haunt me in the morning for my Max Recovery class...You would think "Recovery" would mean an easy going class, but ya never know with Shaun T

Well I am going to check in with you all and get some fuel..

B- Almond Breeze Shake with whey protein, 1/3 banana and blueberries

L- Quiche with Chipotle Tabasco..tortilla chips

S- 2 chicken strips

D- Chicken Wings Mole...Steamed Broccoli...Deviled Egg Potato Salad with Chipotle Tabasco..2 Glasses of Primal Roots(red blend)

1  1/2 gallons of water..Casine shake(pre bedtime)

Progress as of today: 93 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

It's so totally funny how you loved exactly the things I did not. But there were many things in the Conditioning Class that I did like, so I guess it's ok ;)

People from Lexington! Cool. The Petsmart in Brannon Crossing is where I volunteer with the Animal Shelter. I hope they got the pup from us! Anyway, good job plugging Rachel's classes! She is working hard and getting some results of more participants and some new BB customers. She is very passionate about her work :o) It's truly a small world. <3

i've been having the almond breeze i bought a couple weeks ago, finally, this week. i've decided that it's GREAT and really helps delay appetite...it must be the fat content (although not much fat, still some..)

you are right, i feel like an extremely new woman...and i will miss the fitness and amount of outdoor activity i am doing when i go back to work next week!
