Good Evening Ladies  I had a pretty chill first day off and as usual my brain didn't get the memo because I was still up bright and early this morning.. I did get a power nap in before my trip to the store..After my trip to the store, I attempted to watch a movie and ended up taking another nap..LOL Needless to say I didn't get much in the way of nourishment today unfortunately but I am well rested for week 2 of Insanity! I am off to see how your weekends went and get some fuel.. Enjoy the rest of the weekend

Don't forget to mash several big spoonfuls of beans against the side of the crockpot this morning! Stir well and cover and reset your pot for another 8 hours. A couple hours before you serve add the cut up jalapeno and about 1/2 before add the Rotels. At this point you can check it for salt. I don't add my salt at the beginning because it is said to toughen the beans. Hope you like it!!!!

Good Morning Ladies I just finished my Plyo Cardio Circuit and so far this is my fave class,(not including the ab classes, those are both killers) but then again I have yet to try them all.. So it rained all night and thankfully the summer rain pattern is arriving, meaning late afternoon/evening storms which means this hopefully won't interfere with my shifts... Well I better get going and prep for my shift, chat with you all later, have a great weekend

Hey all!  The monsoon is finally over..I worked a full shift and not a drop of rain in sight..I  took a while to adjust to sunlight..LOL  It was pretty hot and humid out there and I was a bit zonked by the time I arrived home so I took a 20 minute power nap and fully energized and a little hungry. I tried a new brand of Smoked Salmon for lunch(store bought) and it was so salty, I couldn't eat it

Well I am off to get my weekend started!

Speaking of CB's, went to the St. Cloud location for dinner when daughter and future SIL were visiting to check it out as a possible bridal rehearsal luncheon place but SIL wanted something a little less crowded. I had the shrimp platter (grilled) and it was divine!!!!!! Have a good day today!

Good Morning Ladies Just finished up Pure Cardio..Another non stop moving routine. Lots of sports drills in there which I love! He killed pretty much everyone with the pushups jacks at the end of class including him!!! LOL check it out: http://youtu.be/30Ay4j0zQn0

So the rains are still around and you know you are in trouble  when the Forecasters say the rains have to end sometime soon??? LOL Dare I say that I am so bored, I would be willing to work inside today? Hummm..To be continued..

Hey Ladies! After logging off here, I called to see what the conditions were on the beach and I was summoned in..It was not looking pretty when I arrived but my GM's 2 kids were there(first day off for summer break) It was apparent that his youngest(boy 11 yo) was working his nerves a bit because when I arrived, my GM said to his son "Your Buddy is here, now you can hang out with her" LOL!!  He is a cool kid and we share the same gift of gab as well as a short attention span.. He had lots of questions and I had plenty of answers..Anyhoo I figured if it did rain, at least I got my social interaction for the week/month/ YEAR out the way.. JK or am I??

It actuall turned out to be a nice day and right around 3;30 it started sprinking ever so lightly and the timing couldn't have been more perfect because we finished up the last patrons and battoned down the hatches before the severe stuff arrived just as I walked inside my house..

I completed an Extreme Ab class  and i am off to see how your day went..I hope it was a happy healthy one for you all!

Good Morning Ladies Today's class was Cardio Recovery..It is the tamest class I am sure..LOL It provided a nice stretch with some core and balance thrown in.. Weather wise it is another repeat of rain, it has been raining since late last night..Most of the severe stuff is headed to the East Coast but there are still some activity out in the Gulf..With that being said not sure what the day is going to bring but I have a Plan B in place so I won't be bored to tears if I am indeed off today...LOL

Well another day off due to the rains and let me tell you, be careful what you wish for.. I know I have been griping alot about the heat, drought and all that jazz but come on enough already.. LOL Had I'd known I would have a mini vacay, I would have bolted to Chi Town to see the fam and friends..

I was bored to tears so I went to my friend Tracy's so I could play with the kids but she sent them next door to their Nana's so she could pack for their trip(tomorrow) in peace   LOL Tracy was so happy to have a distraction for a bit, offered a glass of vino(how could I refuse?)  We sat and chatted a bit and I felt bad for keeping her from her tasks at hand but she seemed to be okay with it and offered me a shot of Jager..That was when I knew it was time to leave..No sense in turning this into "Thirsty Thursday" I am sure she would have regretted that as well since they are leaving out at 4:30 am for their road trip to Texas.. As we all know there is no such thing as "just one shot"

I arrived home and completed a Turbo Fire Upper20 class and now it is off to catch up with you all and get some fuel.  Have a stellar evening girls!!

Good Morning Ladies  I just completed my Cardio Power and Resistance Class.. No weights involved, we use our body as resistance..Lots of pushups in this class and I LOVE this class! The drills are done in 3 levels, moderate, fast, and full throttle.. Def pumped for the day.. Speaking of it is pretty dark and gloomy here, it looks like it might be a repeat of yesterday..I certainly hope not.. Well I better get going anyways and prep just in case...Have  a  Stellar Day girls

Hey All!  Well I had an unexpected, uneventful day off.. As I headed out the door it was sprinkling ever so lightly and I made a beeline back in the house to call work, no sense in wasting gas or time..By lunchtime it was raining buckets..

With no "Plan B" in place I just sat for a few, called my Mom, who had plenty to say, also my Nana..My coworkers  called inviting me out but since tomorrow's weather is expected to be worse, I stayed put.. I had the chance to catch up on my pile of crossword puzzles, napped and got an Ab Ripper class done.. 

Off to see what's going on with my girls here and get some fuel..Hope you had a good one!

lol! It sounds like you've been doing all the BB programs in the correct order - Chalene (easy), P90x (medium), and Shaun T (hard!). Next will be Body Beast (difficult!), but you'll be well prepped for it by the time you start it!

Good Morning Ladies I had a nice start to my morning with a Plyometrics Cardio Circuit class. What an awesome workout from beginning to end.. I really missed the non stop super charged classes, what a rushShaun T rocks! Well I better keep it moving, while time is still on my side..Hope you all have a happy healthy day

Hey all back from my not so stellar day..It all started out really well, I did my usual straightening up and putting things back in it's proper place and by the time we opened, we had a pretty decent crowd at the tables and bar..Around 12:30 ish the sky turned pretty dark and ominous..That was right around the time that the local station here posted a Water Spout Alert ( Tornados in the water just in case)..Minutes later the sky opened up something fierce and it was game over.. Since i was already soaking wet I stayed upstairs and put everything away and my partner in crime tended to our guests inside.. Needless to say that after closing shop we had to help the wonderslugs that worked inside, we pretty much expoed, ran food and took over the downstairs bar..We managed to make decent money but it was still a little annoying that no one else had the same sense of urgency..

I came home still pretty charged from my workout so I did a Turbo Fire Core20 class because I am not sure what Shaun has in store for me tomorrow but I am stoke to find out!

Well I am going to catch up with you girls, get some fuel and unwind

I saw your progress pic last night - what well defined abs!!! Your food for the week sounds great too. I am craving a good tuna salad. I'm thinking about making a cold pasta salad using the multi colored veggie and semolina flour pasta. I like it with boiled shrimp, chunks of egg, cucumber, cubes of pepper jack and cheddar cheeses, black olives, sun dried tomatoes and a cucumber infused ranch dressing. Cool and tasty for these hot summer days! Have a great day!

Good Morning Ladies Day 1 first week of Insanity..Yes! Today's only scheduled class is the "Fit Test"  Basically there are 8 exercises that you have 1 minute to crank out as many reps as you can..I did the test a while ago and I tried to out rep the prior results even if it was 1 more..LOL.. I am really getting good with the pushup jacks, the last time my feet were not understaning the pushup/jacking the feet out at the same time but after all the crazy pushups Tony had us doing, I was well versed. Hopefully I will crank out even more when I do the test again in 2 weeks.. The test was 25 minutes total and it has me wanting more so I am sure I will get another workout in today..

Well I am going to keep it moving so I can get my chores out the way so the rest of the day I can chillax..Hope you all have a Stellar Monday

Hey ladies back from my day..It was a pretty uneventful one and I really didn't get much of my chores done other than making bagging and tagging my meals for the week..In hindsight, I actually didn't do very much since i used the crock pot for my roast and dusted off my George Foreman grill to cook some chicken breasts and made some Tuna and Egg salad..

Feeling a little antsy I did an "Ive Got Abs" for "Project Ab Mayhem"  the progress of shedding the excess skin has been a journey but it takes time and lots of effort but I am pleased with the results thus far.. I am getting some progress pics done as soon as my friend has the time..Well I better get going so I can catch up with you all, get some fuel and get to bed at a decent hour, so I will have lotsa energy for my Plyo interval class tomorrow!

I rode around 50 miles last week on the bike. I know I could have done more, but didn't do anything on Saturday and did a 2 mile walk with husband and one Zumba class - so all in all a good week for exercise - thank you for noticing! What is getting me excited is that I do not feel sore at all. I am fatigued for sure - but not sore - so must be getting in shape. Need to stretch more.

Hey Girl! Yeah, it was a fun but wild weekend. I enjoyed getting to do all the cooking and not eating all of it was a real plus. I did break down and have a cinnamon roll this morning but I also ate a deviled egg first and after I had a handful of almonds. I'm hoping that will help balance the blood sugar levels. My daughter said she did Insanity up at school. A bunch of her friends live in a gated condo community and the community bought it for the rec room. She said, "Mom, it's INSANE!!!" I said that I knew that and you were a BeachBody coach and she was really interested! She is 5'9" and weighs 125 pound and very muscular. Just lacking in the butt and boob areas so she wants tone and enhance. Once I get her riding abilities up, she will make a great partner, but I am really concerned about the dead dog days of summer, so I really want to do Zumba or something else with her. Enjoy your day off! We are grilling salmon tonight. I picked up a whole side and I put the black beans on last night. Got a pretty good menu for the week. I'll send it to you later.... Work computers are shutting down.....

OK, here is the story on the peppers. My brother brought me some to taste at work. It was a half of a jalapeno with a hunk of cream cheese, a hunk of sausage and wrapped in bacon. It was good, but by accident I made it better. We had gone camping and brought stuff to do the peppers over the camp fire. Well, as you know, over an open fire you can not get the top of the bacon to cook so it's kind of woogely and my girls don't like woogely bacon so we drove back in town for more fixings to try it again. Well, they only had maple bacon and we also picked up maple Jimmy dean sausage so it was ground sausage. we took it back to the camp, cooked the bacon over the fire completely, cooked the sausage in a skillet over the fire, cut up the bacon and the ground sausage and mixed it INTO the cream cheese and seasoned it with garlic and onion powder and added shredded cheddar cheese and stuffed it into the clean out pepper halves. well the taste was awesome and the bacon was precooked so you only had to grill the pepper until they had darkened and softened. I wound up entering a tailgating recipe contest using that recipe (plus some additional honey in the mixture) and won a trip to the taste of the NFL cook off and it just happened to be the same year that my Saints made it to the Superbowl. It was a memorable trip and we took the girls. So that's the story of my peppers! The new thing is to eat it with grilled pineapple if the pepper lean to the very spicy side! I love sweet and savory!

The beans were so good tonight and so spicy!!! We grilled the salmon on the skin and it melted it your mouth like butter! Our pizza crusts are premade from restaurant depot and hey are multigrained and low sugar. They grill beautifully on the pit over a medium high heat for 8 minutes. The leftover salmon will go to salmon cakes and tomorrow night is chicken Milanese (breaded in panko) and shallow fried in olive oil topped with a cool vinaigrette salad. Depending on leftover status one night might be pasta puttanesca. The broccoli and cauliflower have already been steamed to accompany any of e meals. The black beans will come around again probably with the salmon cakes. I'm hoping to have a quieter day at work tomorrow and start browsing for recipes to convert! My daughter wants me to get bbl so we will definetly get it from you! Enjoy your evening and your pizza! My next pizza will be a garlic sauce with grilled veggies topped with cartelized onions and mozzarella.

Other than that I watched movies and napped a bit since sleeping in was a superfail..I was up before dawn as usual, I guess the brain didn't get the memo that I didn't have to work or workout..

Good Morning Ladies I just finished a Cardio Abs class just to get a good start to the day..Yoga is my last scheduled class for my program and I am not sure if I will do this one this evening or save it til tomorrow so we shall see.. The rain finally exited last night and now it is pretty sunny out and thanks to all of the moisture it is a little cooler ( 77right now) but I am sure it will heat up pretty quickly because there is not a cloud in the sky..Well I am off to get prepped for work, chat with you all later..Have a great weekend

Good Evening! I had a really good day at work and got out of there pretty early since my relief was bored fron the day off yesterday and I was happy to oblige him when he wanted to start early.. I was going to save my last class til tomorrow, that was until Sweetpea messaged me to say she was going to complete hers..Well since we started the program together, I think it was only fitting that we would end the same day!! Yippeee!  I can't wait to start "Insanity" on Monday

I am off to read some diaries, get some fuel and get my weekend started!

B- Almond Breeze with whey protein, 1/3 banana and strawberries

S- Raspberry Tart

L- Salmon Burger with ff cheddar, lettuce,tomato on 7 grain deli thin..1 peach

S- Coconut Chicken in boom boom sauce

S- Glass of Sav Blanc

D- Chicken Wings Mole..Homemade baked sweet potato fries..Steamed Broccoli..2 glasses of Red blend

Gallon of water...Casein Shake(pre bedtime)

Progress as of today: 93 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

Good Morning Ladies  I just finished my last Core Synergistics! 89 days and 1 more to go..Oh yeah!  It has been raining here since the wee hours of the morning..It is a definite no go for my shift at the Tiki Bar..The storms are coming in from the Gulf and there are plenty out there.. Nothing severe but a good amount of well needed moisture.. I still have to prep just in case they need me to work inside today..Have a stellar Friday beauties

Hey Ladies, had an extra day off today and since it was rainy all day, I didn't do much of anything..Well the darkness of the day along with the constant fall of raindrops had me in quite the hypnotic state and I was looking at my eyelids for a while and I watched a few movies and had a chill kinda day..I resisted adding a class this evening, shocking right? LOL.. Off to read some diaries and get some fuel.. Have a great weekend all!

L-2 Mole Wings, couple of tbsps tuna and Egg salad, 1 peach

S- WW baked crackers with ff cream cheese

D- Turkey and Portabella loaf..Whole Grain brown Rice...Spinach, cucumber, boiled eggwhite,  kalamata olives, anchovies, yellow peppers, red onions, ff feta, red wine vin, lemon.. 2 Glasses of red blend

1 gallon of water...Casein Shake(pre bedtime)

Pouring rain here as well and my nearly-7-year-old granddaughter is supposed to play in a soccer game tonight with Nana watching. Sure it will be cancelled.

I need to be good more often and space out the indulgences more. Nobody eats salads or fruit in this house though!
