Good Morning Ladies So my only scheduled class today is Stretch..Just like the yoga class it makes me a bit lethargic afterwards so I am saving that for after work..I started my day out with an Insane Abs class and now I can go about my day with a nice buzz..It is a sunny day here, temps are already in the the low 80's YIKES!  Gotta keep it moving so I will chat with you all later..Have a Stellar Day

Hey girls! Back from a very hot, slow day but somehow we had a decent day thanks to a few generous patrons.. I just completed my XStretch class and feeling pretty mellow  and super hungry..So I am going to catch up with you all and get some fuel.. I hope all is well in your world!

B-Almond Breeze shake with whey protein, 1/3 banana and blueberries

L- Tuna and Egg Salad with ff cheddar, lettuce, tomato on 7 grain deli thin.. Cole Slaw..1 peach

S- LF cottage cheese, 1 boiled egg white

D- Chicken Wings Mole.. Homemade  Baked Sweet Potato Fries with hot bbq sauce..Steamed Broccoli...2 glasses of Red Blend

Good Morning Ladies I just finished my last Kenpo X class for the program and this class I will truly miss along with the spirit yells.. Well the sun has made it's appearance in what seems like days..Although their is a slight chance of rain later, my afternoon shift appears to be promising weatherwise..I am going to keep it moving, I am sure there is a lot of things that need tidying up since it was super windy the past few days..Have a wonderful day, chat with you all later

Hey Ladies! It was still super breezy on the beach and it was blowing around alot of hot air and not just from the customers...LOL Sorry just had to do it..Speaking of just having to do it, I came home and changed into my workout gear as I usually do and yes I added a class..It was a Turbo Fire Sculpt class..My brain is just not getting the memo of the concept of "Recovery Week" I guess it is still a major victory that i haven't done a super charged cardio class or lifted a weight in 5 days...Hahahaha

Well I am off to read some diaries and get some fuel..Hope you all had a stellar day!

Enjoy your sunshine and I am happy Beryl kept her distance from you. I thought about you as I saw the beautiful beach coaches doing Yoga with the guests in Playa del Carmen! They were all spunky and full of untamed energy and the old women were standing their lifelessly before the class wondering what they had got themselves into!!! I tried twice to exercise while on vacation and that just seems like such an oxymoron! But I am home, glad to be back, and back to the grind. So expect you to be my taskmaster and keep me on track. Because now the goals need to be met even though there is no real deadline anymore. I feel healthy and great, but it would be REAL easy to give up the exercise and I know that can't happen. So here I am looking for your energy and drive to keep me going in the right direction! Enjoy your day!

Awe, no more spirit yells? You'll just have to adopt the yells into all your other classes. Yes, especially Yoga ;)

I really did have to have a chuckle when I read your update!!!! I knew it, really, I knew it!!! You are now incapable of giving it a rest! If you could see me now you would see me wagging my pointed finger at you. Why do you think they have a Recovery Week? How come you follow the instruction all the rest of the time? I am thinking if you were super busy at work it would help with the boredom factor affecting this little blind spot:)LOL

I can't wait to hear what you have up your sleeve! Foods will be getting more playful soon. I got home at 11:30 Sunday night and had to be into work for 6:30am which left not only the cupboards bare, but no planned menu for the week! I am looking forward to menu planning at the end of the week since I can now entertain the girls' cravings! We did ride tonight and changed dinner to hamburger with no bun, lettuce, creole tomato, mushrooms, and teriyaki sauce with broccoli. I'm going to crash and see if I can't recover from some of this sleep deprivation! Have a great evening!

Good Morning Ladies I just completed my Core Synergistics class..It has been a while since this class was scheduled and yayyy for for pushups and a few weighted exercises!! LOL Not sure what today will bring weatherwise, it's pretty dark right now and the counties north of us are getting pummeled with rain..So far we have dodged the rain so hopefully it will stay north...Off to prep for my day, I will chat with you all later

Well I had an unexpected day off..I was all ready to head out the door and it started raining so I figured I would call before I made the trip..It was pretty breezy and rainy there and I had the option to work inside or stay put..That was a no brainer..LOL I really did need to tackle the heap of laundry so I stayed put..We didn't get a substantial amount of rain so it is really muggy here..

Out of habit I got dressed for my usual evening workout which is non existent since it is Recovery Week, so I did an Extreme Abs class since I was dressed for the occasion..LOL  I am so not digging the one a day workouts but thankfully I only have 5 more days of this before Insanity!! Yayyyy Okay I have issues don't judge

Well I am going to read some diaries and get some fuel before American Ninja Warrior, this competition is  kick ass! G4 channel if you are interested..Have a good evening!

Are you getting any effects of Beryl? We didn't watch TV or have any internet so we didn't hear about it until we got home. I'm glad I didn't know there was anything out there because I would have worried, but not that Florida needs it, I am just relieved it didn't go across into the Gulf. I'm not mentally prepared for hurricane season yet. This is too early! Hope you have a productive day at work!!

Pretty Girl has been a little nervous around the children but the angel and her mom just came up and she let the angel give her a stroke, progress is being made. There is a cat downstairs as well, Laquoix is actually my daughters cat, she and husband have had her for sixteen years (her sister Chanel was eaten by a fox!!), she is a bit grumpy now but was a brilliant pet when the boys where little, she let them pull her around without even a squeak. She was very patient, but has avoided the girls like the plague! Not surprisingly:) LOL

V - Monday May 28, 2012

Good Morning I was up pretty early this morning amped and ready for a nice sweaty workout.  Alas it is the final week of my P90X program (Recovery Week)  Week 13's classes are all non impact, non lifting, pushups nor pullups.. LOL I was going to get today's scheduled class done but it is YogaX..I think I will save this for later.. I am going to try my hardest to stick with the scheduled classes without adding hardcore classes like I usually do..Especially since I am starting my 9 week Insanity program next week.. Today I think I might dust off my recumbent bike and ride for while and perhaps do an ab class..

Well I am going to catch up with you lovely ladies here and get a headstart to some of my chores.. Actually I already prepped one ot this week's meals yesterday.."Chicken Wings Mole" they are marinating in the fridge.. I will def post this recipe, for those of you who like spicy goodness

Laundry is at the top of the list,hopefully since it is a holiday, the laundry mat will not be crowded as usual today..

Well my day off was a Super Fail..As soon as I logged off here, I got the call to come in to work..Weak sauce but it was a pretty good shift money wise,,Good thing because I am sure to run out of work shirts by the end of the week so if I can't make it to do laundry, I will have to buy a few new ones...LOL..I guess it was probably for the best because i am sure I would have caved and did a HIIT class...hahahaha

I did a Power Yoga Tone class and the floor portion of YogaX.. Well I am off to see how your day went and get some fuel..Hope ya had a good one!!

Hey there. I cooked BBQ pork in the crock pot and we had that on buns. It is also the one and only day of the year I eat KFC - I had a thigh and no BBQ. I'm having the BBQ tonight. I also made corn on the cob and a pie and fresh fruit salad (cantelpe, watermelon, pineapple and strawberries. Everyone brings a dish and it seems to work out. I also provide the non-alcoholic beverages and plates, napkins, etc. Everyone brings their own fav drinks. Beer, wine, other...diet coke...Pot luck. I also had Hummus and Naked Pita chips. The pie I made is one of my favorites - it's called Japanese Fruit Pie - I don't think there is anything Japanese about it and it is definitely not healthy - I had a small piece. Oh OK that is enough about food.

The Japanese Fruit Pie is best served room-temp. It is pretty popular at picnic/potlucks, etc. You have to like raisins, though. It has coconut, pecans and raisins. I got the recipe years ago out of one of my grandmother's "church ladies cookbooks". You know those that are a collection of the members of some organization's members (in this case the members of the Nicholasville, KY Christian Church Ladies Circles). I wonder if I would like Mole sauce since I like chili chocolate???

Too bad about being called in to work but you took it well! About the performance & the emphasis on males- that was pretty much the Chinese culture and mainly when the women in the performance were born- the late 1940's- 1950's. Males were valued because inheritance was passed to them. If there were males in the family the girls were very welcomed, it was a problem if there were only girls.

Hey Ladies I had a nice chillaxed day, other than my usual shopping trip, I spent the day at home since I agreed to work tommorrow if my co worker couldn't due to her son being in the hopsital..Thankfully he was released and all is well!! It looks like I will have my usual Monday off but it was nice to catch up on some well needed rest.. I am off to catch up with you girls and get some fuel.

Good Morning I just finished up my KenpoX class the spirit yells had to be reduced to a low simmer since I had the windows open..LOL  I am hoping that my last shift of the week is fruitful. It is yet another hot day out but I hope people still want to take advantage of being outdoors since tomorrow and a few days after, the weather is expected to deteriorate with the sub tropical storm Beryl is on the East coast of Florida..Kinda crazy that there are 2 named storms and hurricane season hasn't even started.. Good Morning Ladies I completed my last Ab Ripper and CardioX classes..I actually only did a portion of cardioX since I am doing another cardio/leg and back class this evening..It rained well into the wee hours this morning and it is all clear now..I was hoping that it could have cooled the temps down a little but it is already 77..Yep summer is here.. Anyhoo I better keep it moving so I can stay on schedule..Happy Friday

Hey, it was a hot day here and super slow for a Friday..As I was leaving the beach the traffic was a little heavier than normal so hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for me.. I completed a Lean Interval class it was a trade up for the legs and back class and the lower half is feeling the burn along with the abs.. Well i am off to read some diaries and get some fuel..

Hey all! Work was super hot again, we did okay even though most sought refuge inside with the A/C cranking.. I just finished up a Power Yoga Sweat class and added  the last 43? minutes of YogaX.. Now that I am feeling quite mellow, I am going to catch up with you all, get some fuel and check out this storm that rolled through 20 minutes ago.. Hope your day was a happy healthy one!

Oooo....I LOVE yoga!!! I always came out of it so relaxed. I generally liked to take it at night just because it really helped me sleep. But, your yoga sounds like it pumps you up! LOL!! And...I may have to check out the DVD that SweatPea is talking about!! LOL.

Good Morning So I guess the evening HIIT class wasn't such a good idea.. The afterburn had a firm grip on me..The up side to this is I got out of bed all shades of pumped up..LOL  I completed my Ab Ripper class.. It is another sunny day here, temps are expected to be in the 90's and no rain in sight..It is supposed to arrive in the area just in time to ruin any outdoor plans for Memorial Day Hoping that the forecast is wrong..Well I better keep it moving, chat with ya after work.. It's very good, he does some different moves from Tony and Chalene and it's definitely challenging. Did you ever get the disc I mailed you? It was sent back and I had to add an extra stamp, but you should be getting it soon if you haven't already.

Good Morning Ladies I just completed my last PlyoX class of the program so I had a good night's rest so I could "Bring it"  Nice day here I had a bird's eye view of the sunrise during class and it was pretty cool.. It is already in the high 70's here and hopefully it won't be  blazing before it's all said and done..Well I better get going, I hope you all have a Stellar Day

Hey Ladies! I had a pretty busy day despite the heat..I arrive home a little later than the norm because all 3 evening shift workers were LATE, yup thumbsucking wonderslugs!! Hahahaha I arrived home not really feeling the scheduled CardioX class due to the 15 minute yoga portion in the beginning of class..I was in the mood for some fast paced blood pumping work so i did a HIIT30 class..I just hope the afterburn doesn't keep me up too late.. Anyhoo I am off to catch up with ya and get some fuel..

B- Almond Breeze Shake with whey protein, 1/3 banana and blueberries

L- Tuna and Egg Salad with ff cheddar, lettuce, tomato on 2 slices of Whole Wheat very thin.. Whole Wheat and Flax Baked Pretzel Crisps.. 1 peach

S- Boom Boom Shrimp

D- Pan seared Ahi Tuna with wasabi and low sodium soy.. Spinach, 1/2 boiled egg, cucumber, ff feta, red onion, red pepper, mandarin oranges, anchovies, red wine vin, lemon.. Glass of Red Blend, Glass of Sauv Blanc

1 1/2 gallons water...Casein shake(pre bedtime)

Progress as of today: 93 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

All better now, V! Full of energy? Sounds like perfect weather for you, enjoy your day! We're actually sunny and nearly 70 which is fantastic for us!

My hub likes to cook, but not this kind of cooking. He likes to be creative. Anyway, I'm glad our friends don't go away that often. The wife has big management career and the hub does all the B & B stuff, all by himself.

Your quinoa recipe from yesterday sounds really good. I'd swap out a different protein since I'm not a shrimp fan, but the rest sounds amazing.

Yes!!! And now that I know my neckpain is not any spine-related/surgery related, I feel more confident and willing to push for myself! Ahh, Vitor told me something today. He told me that I should have a solid plan of gym 3x per week and other 2 classes, and nothing else. I got a bit sad because I knew he was right to say that, but on the other hand I love all the classes so much that I'm overwhelmed with plans, and my head is so hectic! I guess he's pissed because I changed outdoor training for RPM lately, LOL. Well, but I pay a gold membership, and I'm not guilty of having to chose because they have everything at the same time, so timetables collide! :-( Outdoor training is from 7 pm to 8 pm, and RPM starts precisely at 7h45 PM! And I'm not the person who falls in 20 mins late to attend half of the class... pff... I'm very very hectic, but exercise is fun and I have so much fun everywhere that it's really hard to leave them for good! I change from time to time, so what. But Vitor has always have a plan, his life is a huge PLAN, with check-boxes and goals to reach. Which is great, but I am sooo unable to function like that. Maybe this is one major problem of mine anyway!

Wow, last Plyo class. Will you miss it? I havent done it in a while and I dont miss it, lol. Im not a fan of the guitar jump move, the leaping across the room thing, and hot foot so I havent been motivated to do it, lol.

Yea, once I get real patio furniture, it will be a real nice place to hang out. Right now, its a card table and two folding chairs. We have to drag out two dining room chairs if we want to eat outside. lol

Plyo does burn a lot of calories, according to my armband. I just feel super silly when I do the moves I listed above. I bet you look like a total rock star when you do those moves. :)

I def plan on supplementing with the some of the P90x programs when I start BBL. Those classes are so short so I will need do something else at home in order to not feel guilty. Plus, I need my Tony fix. :)

Congratulations on finishing your last PlyoX class. Another goal met! Did you make the boom boom shrimp? Bonefish Grill has something by the same name and I LOVE it. Don't go there but maybe once a year it's on the other side of town and we are usually in a hurry but I enjoy it when I get it. They also make wonderful martinis. :-)
