Good Morning I just completed my Burn Interval 45 class..It has been a while since this class was on the schedule.Love the HIIT with weights! Now that the morning party is over, I have to get that laundry done...SIGH...LOL Talk with ya later

Hey I got around to doing the laundry and had the opportunity to read more of my book while I was there.. The rest of the day went by at lightning speed, it always does for me on Tuesdays.. I completed my Extreme Abs 16 class and time to read some diaries and enjoy my last hours of solitude I hope you all had a stellar day ladies!!

B- Almond Breeze Shake with whey protein, banana and blueberries

S- 1 strawberry protein square

L- Tuna and egg salad with roasted red peppers, lettuce, ff cheddar on whole wheat "light" bagel thin..multi grain baked chips

S- Mixed nuts

D- Lean Sirloin Roast.. Red Beans and whole grain brown rice..Romaine, boiled eggwhite, cucumber, julianned carrots, red onion, parmesean, red wine vin, lemon..2 Glasses  Menage a Trois

Glad you had such a successful day! I will take your advice and go to bed early so that maybe tomorrow won't be so stressful! I usually post in the morning at work while I am having my morning break, but I don't think I had any breaks today. And then a client called 5 minutes before I close to drop off a check so I offered to stay and 45 minutes later I called to see where she was, and she forgot. Oh, well, that caused me to miss my walk or ride tonight. And on the home front, I will have to address that soon when I have time to write. Thanks for being there, you're great!

Good Morning Just completed  Fire45 and Stretch10 classes and feeling exceptionally well after my evening on the town..We spent the first half of the game at the bar and went to Tracy's for the second half so I could hang with the kids before they went to bed..It was a nice relaxing evening with gracious conscious hosts this year!! Hahaha!  I must get some chores done so i will chat with you lovelies later

Hey ladies, I had a pretty productive day and never left the house..I was feeling a bit sluggish from my evening out..With my 2 a day workouts, sleep is my BFF

I got all my meals and protein squares made for the week, and I added a  P90X Shoulders and Arms 58 with the bonus round.. My triceps were already on fire but those "side tri rises" at the end KILLED them..It was like everyone was possesed and trying to outdo each other..I def found the burn! It hurts so good!

So while await dinner to cool off I have to tell you about the guy that Tracy and Dennis tried to set me up with last night.. I am always super sketched out at  being "introduced"  but I did agree going into this with no expectations..This guy was really nice HOWEVER he was stuck in the 80's time warp, acid washed ripped jeans and a ring on EVERY finger WTH?? I tried to look past this but that is so NOt my style.. I felt horrible and a bit superficial about not feeling this guy and saying no when he asked me out  but hey, I know what I like and don't like..I was upfront with him at the beginning of the evening that I wasn't interested in a nice way so the rest of the evening we cold be at ease.. 

I did have the opportunity to hang with the owner of the bar who is super cute, but also the town "floozy' hahaha, I know one extreme to the other..I've know him since I moved here and although he tries really hard, he will never get more than a smooch or two, okay SEVERAL, he has really nice lips...Hahahaha!

Well time to read some diaries and get some fuel! Have a good evening!

Very little snow here - nothing at all like Michigan. Usually get rain in winter and normally if we get snow it melts within 24 hours thanks to the Gulf Stream warming things up. We are as far north as Alaska.

Hubby tasted the muffins and said they were okay except that the pieces of apple were too mushy. I'll try one tonight. Maybe use dried fruit next time.

Tall, well built, intelligent, well dressed (well not scruffy- with a bit of edge), good conversationalist, good listener, has a job (paid enough to be comfortable would be good), relaxed, good sense of humour, good looking, but will except interesting if all other catagories are met and he has to have the IT factor, exudes subtle sexiness but not overt just obvious to those who know what they are looking for.:) Oh and a good walk, a manly walk, not butch just smooth and boots, (love a man in boots - can mine ride a bike?) How did I go?

Really enjoyed this entry, had a good giggle at your friends "attempt" to set you up. It sounds to me like your a very confident lady that likely meets the guys on your own terms. I'm sure their intentions we're good though :) I bet he was a very nice man.....even rocking the 80's acid wash jeans! We can't really pick who we have chemistry with though, nice or not. My friends wanted to set me up with a guy and I refused so they made a point of inviting us both to the same place.....that was 17 yrs ago and I've been married to this "surprise" blind date for 13 yrs. Sometimes it works out :) Congrats on your huge weight loss, very inspirational!!! Super healthy menu and great job on pushing through your work out even with the burn! I hope to get into shape so I can get back to my P90X soon, love it.....so challenging!

Maybe he's "just waiting for a girl like you" to help him out of his wardrobe Time-warp! Song/pun intended! Then, you gotta watch out for those bar manager types! I ran into a few of those back in the day, I'll tell you! heheheheh.

Good Morning Ladies I just finished up Kenpo class and I am getting my scheduled classes  in before the Super Bowl Festivities begin..I am sure this year's party will be a lot less stressful with a more responsible host this year..I am sure some of you remeber the fiasco when last year's host Jim and his girlfriend were so plastered they were passed out before the game even started so T and my self had to play host and Jim forgot a critical key to making his party a sucesss..UTENSILS and PLATES, not to mention side dishes Hahaha! Yep that is a sad but true tale!!

Anyhoo I better get going, I have to get to the store, my "party wings" were requested so I am hoping to get some pre-made wings at the deli and make my various sauces to save some time..We were going to go out to eat before hitting "Abbey Road" for gametime but by far this is a much cheaper alternative so that's a plus! Have a good day ladies

Good Morning Ladies Saturday again! The week went by pretty quick but no complaints here.Although today is my scheduled day off from weights and cardio, I might get in a stretch class depending on how my day goes..Well I have to get going soon, I have to stop at the store to pick up some chocolate syrup for some patrons who are in town that love their 'Mudslides"..Time to get my day started, have a wonderful day

Hey all! I had a really busy day at the beach and they started coming in a half an hour BEFORE we opened because someone forgot to lock the door!  Due to the fact that my GM is so money hungry,OOPs I mean all about customer service,  he tells me to let them stay, make drinks and entertain them til the kitchen opens.. Hahaha, WTH? Time to re negotiate my contact!!    I really don't mind but it would have been nice to eat my lunch in peace..Oh well all in a a day's work and they all took extra good care of me for interrupting my lunch..

I did a Recharge20 to wind my day down.. I am going to read some diaries, get some fuel and chillax!!

It's in the freezer sitting next to the Goose! (I also like the bottles!) The good thing about being a reformed party girl is you can still have your mind alert enough to decide if they are worth the kiss!! Oh, and I used to like Mudslides too!

I have been enjoying Three Olives Bubble Gum Vodka with diet 7 and then someone gave my daughter Pinnacle Whipped Cream. I saw Pinnacle had a Cotton Candy and it was 1/2 the price of the Three Olives so I decided to try it. Being a cheaper vodka it had an esophagus burn, so I went back to Bubble Gum. I gave it all up when I quit the sugar almost 4 weeks ago just so that I wouldn't be participating in any addictive behavior and I am really looking forward to trying it tomorrow! I also used to like Southern Comfort with grenadine and diet 7 so I guess I do like the sweet drinks! But, I do think the bottle is beautiful!!! Your menu today sounded yummy.

nice, i love reading all these healthy dishes you make. i see you also had a couple protein bars. you see, for me, that's how my world revolves! protein bars are a set amount of calories and usually pretty satisfying becuase of the protein and texture. they help me maintain good calories in a day's diet.

i am beginning to get stronger myself and it feels so good! i am sure this happened for you, too. for me, it's with cardio...the muscles in my legs are starting to be able to run for longer periods of time and it's so enjoyable to go to the park and be able to jog and continue jogging, even if at a slow pace.

do you have any recommendation for ways to get a leaner midsection? leaner abs? are there any DVDs you recommend? I need to do something MORE for my abs. Currently, i just do a few situps here and there.maybe i work my abs 2x a week...sometimes just 1x.

Hey Ladies! Super stoked that Jim asked to pick up my evening portion of my shift and I said YES PLEASE!! Not that I have big plans for the evening but now that my priorities and life has shifted in a positive direction, I no longer care to spend my entire existance working long shifts only to be way too exhausted and stressed to enjoy the fruits of my labor..Don't get me wrong here I totally dig the perks$$ and meeting some solid upstanding people at my bar but if I truly want to persue a career in fitness, I have to give that part of my life equal time so it will flourish

I got a stretch/recharge in this evening and I am going to see what's up with you all and fuel up!!

RYC Before Morocco we've got 2 days with friends who are very indulgent food and alcohol wise. Morocco will have lots of healthy food choices, but I expect we'll have a lot of wine. No swimming as I can't find a swimsuit, lots of walking, but other than a strength routine I've planned, no cardio. Then a few weeks later it's a trip to London, but that should be fine weight wise.

Hey V! Did you make your red beans? I make them 4 pounds at a time and freeze them. And of course the only way to have them is with hot sauce!! I am a football fan - Saints for pro and LSU for college. But even though we didn't make it to the big game, I am going to watch because I like to watch football anyway. I am pulling for the Giants because everyone in New Orleans seems to still pull for a Manning as long as they are not playing against us! I am fixing some game food for my family. I found a really nice 10" multigrain flatbread that I have been using this week toasted with chicken salad. As I ate it for lunch today I realized the flavor of the bread would make a nice grilled pizza. So I am working on a no sugar added pizza sauce, some toppings and low fat mozzarella cheese and with the weather so warm, putting it on the outside grill. I also have an idea to do lettuce wraps with grilled chicken that I will finely chop and use an oriental flavor profile. AND, I FOUND MY KINGCAKE VODKA TODAY AND I WILL HAVE MY FIRST DRINK IN A MONTH FOR SUPERBOWL!!! What are your plans?

Good Morning I completed a Plyometrics 58 class with the bonus round at the end..I am doing my scheduled classes after my shift..Another nice day expected, so far this winter has been pretty kind to us! Well I gotta get prepped for my day so I will chat with you later

Back from my day..It was a decent shift and lots of returning "snow birds" have arrived so although Valentine's Day is our official start to season, it appears season is upon us!  Even much more exciting is I have put my request in NOT to work doubles anymore as I have in season's past, I have sucessfully managed to get my GM to listen to reason.. Although I am still scheduled doubles on Friday, I am hoping to rid myself of that one too.. The thrill is totally gone with the shennanagins of the "wobbly people" and I would rather work day shifts and get out of there before I have to deal with the weepy, rebels and the "Gerbil Lady" 

I just completed my Lean Circuit2 40 and Core 20 classes and now it is off to see how goes it with you all , get some fuel and watch "Machete" Yes!! I hope all of the gratuitous violence doesn't get me all worked up before bedtime..Hahaha

The show tonight is Cinematic Titanic, live movie riffing on stage, in a theater :) This will be our 3rd year seeing them, J gets free tickets for handling some of their tech stuff for them.

Good Morning Ladies I just completed my Fire 60 class feeling great, all amped up at a respectable level..It is a nice sunny day here, the temps are expected to be in the 70's so I am sure it will be busy..I will chat with you all later, have a good day

Hey ladies! Beautiful day at the beach and i winded the day down with YogaX 50..It is actually a 90 minute class however the second exercise lasts way too long for the girl with a short attention span so I skipped over most of that..Now that i have a nice mellow feeling, I am going to catch up with you ladies and get some fuel!

Mmm, lovely foods. As for the strawberry bars, which recipe did you use to make the substitution? I know you mentioned it somewhere but I forgot. Cooking/Baking is a form of therapy for me so Im quite excited to make these healthy treats! :)

BTW, what made you choose Ezekiel bread over traditional bread? I looked at the E bread yesterday and still couldnt bring myself to buy it. Im sure its tasty, but the price scares me a bit.

Good Morning Ladies Started my day off with a nice HIIT30 class..With only 4 weeks to go with my scheduled Extreme/Fire/P90 program, HIIT 30 is only scheduled 2 more times Hahaha it is by far by favorite HIIT, not only is it fun, challenging, it also burns the most  calories..Although my next program will be Insanity/P90X hybrid, I am hoping to get in a few fire classes when time permits..

Anyhoo I have to get that laundry done so I can enjoy my last day of peacefulness and then it's back to the grind.. I hope you all have a wonderful day

Hey well I finally got around to doing the laundry since they didn't miraculously clean themselves..BUMMER! Hahaha ! I ran into Ambular at the laundry and although we work at the same place, I never see her because we work opposite schedules.. It was nice to pass the time doing a chore I really don't like doing..

It was such a nice day so I took a stroll in the neighborhood, went to O'Bistro and sippped on a Rita and read my book on the patio.. I ended my day with my scheduled Lean Circuit 1 and Core20 class..  Well I am going to read some diaries, get some fuel  and read some more of my book!  Have a good evening!!

B- Almond breeze shake with whey protein and blueberries

S- 2 homemade strawberry Protein Squares

S- 1 Skinny Margarita

L- Tuna and egg salad with ff cheddar, roasted red peppers on toasted Whole wheat "light" bagel thin

D- Lean Pork roast, Red beans with hot sauce, steamed broccoli.. Glass of Malbec

1 1/2 gallon of water Casein shake(pre bedtime)

Progress as of today - 93 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

LOVE your energy! Walking to the store was purely an accident, but now I realize how much of a waste it has been to drive to the store for 1 item and get back and sit on the sofa. I am very sedentary at my job, and used to come home so tired (from a diet laden with sugar) that all I wanted to do was sit and watch TV. I am 3 weeks sugar, flour and alcohol free and now I am looking for ways to spend my energy that may burn a little more of this fat. Enjoy your last day off - you deserve it!!!

Good Morning Kicked off the day with a Fire60 class..A litte early morning cardio is always good! Other than the usual Monday prep with meals for the week, cleaning and MAYBE laundry, I am hoping to get some reading in and def spending some quality time with Tony later!  Chat with ya later

Hey back from my day!! Yep laudry never happened, i just wasn't feeling it..I did have a productive day of cleaning a little and prepping this week's meals..I winded the day down with an added combo of YogaX and Recharge mainly focusing the arms and back.. I was feeling pretty antsy so I have to modify the workout to my attention span..

Well I am off to check out how your day was and get some fuel..

B- Almond breeze shake with strawberries, blueberries and blackberries.. 1 Pear

L-Tuna and egg salad with roasted red pepper and ff cheddar on a toasted whole wheat light bagel thin.

S- 2 key lime protein squares

D- Chicken breast in homemade lime and chili marinade..Red Beans with whole grain brown rice and hot sauce..Spinach, roasted red pepper, cucumber, julianned carrots, parmesean, red wine vin, lemon 2 glasses of Malbec

1 gallon water Casein shake(pre bedtime)

Hey V! Walmart has Torani syrups on the coffee and tea aisle. I also have purchased the bigger bottle at World Market. I've been buying them for over 10 years now just to sweeten tea, coffee or water with lemon. Just recently I have started trying to cook with them and it's nice to know I can add a little sweet flavor to some things. Have a good Monday!

Good Morning Ladies I had a nice start to the day with a KenpoX 58 class and even had the chance to go psycho with the spirit yells since my landlords took off early this morning to shop.. Even though there is a pretty good distance from the guest and main house I guess I am pretty loud to say the least so I try to keep the yayas a little controlled when they are at home. Well I want to get the shopping out the way so I can enjoy the rest of my day..I hope Sunday is a good one for you all

Back from my day of leisure.. After groceries I even had time to get my brows/lip waxed..i was a little nervous to try out the place next to the grocery store instead of my usual favorite spa.. All turned out really well and the bonus is I only paid half of what I usually do and she only took off what I requested( the overly shocked looked or question mark to the brow is so not me..hahaha) She also does pedicures  so next week I am going to see how well she does..

I finally got around to watch "Black Swan" and it was amazing!! Just completed my Lean Circuit 3 40 and Extreme Abs 15 classes to wind down the evening..All in all a pretty chill day!

Sometimes you just gotta make some noise!! I used to worry about all the huffing & puffing I was doing on the weight machines. Now I don't even care - though, I don't wear my headphone during the weight training portion of my workout - just so I can keep a handle on things!! :D
