Good Morning Ladies Well the long wait for Carter Jax to make his appearance is finally here!! Yayyy..I have yet to get all the details but Val and Carter are doing well. I can't wait to meet him in person!! I started off my day with an Ab Ripper and HIIT15 class.Well I better keep it moving so I will chat with ya later

Back from my day..I had a power meeting after work and if all things fall into place, I will be another step closer to my "idea job" It is too soon to tell but I promise to tell you about this as it develops..All I can say is that it is awesome that so many windows of opportunity that has opened up just from getting healthier!! Good Morning Well Carter hasn't made his arrival yet so "baby watch" is still on..I am hoping that today is the day!! I got a late start to my PlyoX  class so I have to get a move on to prep for work..I will chat with ya later

Hey girls! Work was super slow today, I am sure this is due to the fact that "spring break" is officially over.. Still no news from Val just yet, I am hoping to find out something this evening so I can get a good night's sleep..

Plyo was the only class scheduled so I added an" Insanity" Cardio Core and Balance class so I can spend some quality time with Shaun T.. Off to see how you girls are and get some fuel

Happy belated Easter!! Yes, that darn finger is throbbing! And it's a problem with the shift key and my "a"'s!! The Tomato Tart with Gruyere Cheese was delish, but I have to admit I was nauseous from the trauma of the cut. I'm a real baby with blood and hand pain. I usually pass out! But the crust was delicate and the cheese and egg custard complimented the roasted tomatoes. I found the herbs de provance a little heavy. I might do it again and change the seasoning to be more cajun - just red pepper and black pepper and maybe a little fresh basil. I may even toss in some fresh spinach. I can post the link if you like. Hope you have a relaxing evening! Oh, my daughter did the seared tuna and it was also Cajun style - she rolled it in white and black sesame seeds, cayenne pepper and crack black pepper before she seared it. She served it with slice avocado. We also had cauliflower to get the veggies in. Can i post a pic in a response to you?

Good Morning Ladies Just finished up my Ab Ripper and HIIT30 class and feeling great! I received word from Val last night that they are inducing her today(actually 6 am) As you all know I am super stoked that Carter is making his arrival today Yayyyy!!!!  Her mom promised me that she would keep me posted and I am hoping that Val's delivery goes well..I can't wait to see my nephew!

Well ladies I am off to pace and get some cleaning done, might as well get some things accomplished here since I am anxiously awaiting...LOL  Have a happy Healthy Monday

Hey girls!! I have been on pins and needles anxiously awaiting news from Val..I did speak to her this morning and they still had not induced her because they were waiting for her Doc to arrive..Hopefully I will hear something soon, I can't help but think about her..  Alot of my nervous energy was diverted to my  Chest, Shoulders and Tricep AKA 40 minute "PUSHUP Class" with 10 minutes of shoulder and chest work..I topped last week's pushup reps including the one armed pushups as well as the plyo ones

Time to read some diaries and get some fuel..

Hi there! We actually went out to eat on sunday with Rachel, Will and my mom. It was good. We did come back to our house for lemon pie. I made the pie. Can't wait to hear how the delivery of Carter goes!

Happy Easter!!

 Good Morning Ladies I just completed my makeup lower class and going to get my Yoga class in later this afternoon..Have to get my groceries done so I will catch up with you all later

I had a day of relaxing..I was in need of a little down time after a stressful week.. I feel  a little bad about turning down holiday  dinner offers, but I just didn't have it in me..Sometimes you just have to say no.. I spent most of the day napping and did some stretching exercises. I hope you all enjoyed your celebrations today!

Good Morning TGIS!! We had a rough shift yesterday..It was a little windy out and the GM decided to yank one of the girls downstairs against our protests..It was like living one of my work dream nightmares in true life.. Needless to say I came home and crashed after dinner far too early and found myself wide awake around 3am I managed to get in a nap before I completed my Kenpo class...I am hoping for a stress free shift today..Is this too much to ask for?? LOL Well I better get going so I can get this last shift done..I have to catch up with you all later

Today was a walk in the park in comparision to yesterday..The next 2 days off will be all about chillaxation hopefully without alot of interaction with the public, I am a little spent from it all if you get my drift.. Well I am off to read some diaries, get some fuel and catch the rest of "A Bronx Tale" (LOVE the mob movies)..I hope all of you are enjoying your weekend/holiday

Good Morning Ladies Got a wonderful start to the day with an Ab Ripper and HIIT20 class..I am hoping that the rains that missed us last night will steer clear of the beach, so far it is looking good. It is Opening Day for the Rays(baseball just in case), they are playing the Yankees(NY team)..There are alot of Yankees fans in town for the game so hopefully it will be a really good shift for me..Off to prep for work, I will chat with you all later

Good Morning Ladies Man we had some loud thunderstorms overnight..It had been so long since I heard thunder.. It jolted me right out of my bed in the wee hours..Once I got my bearings,I drifted back off into sleepy town..Another batch of storms are expected late afternoon/evening so I hope it holds out til I am outta there!

I completed a Fat Burn Challenge this morning and if I arrive home early enough, I will tackle my scheduled yoga class..Well ladies I am off to prep for work, I will chat with you later

Well the rains held out and I had a decent shift so I am thankful for that..I arrived home a little later than expected so I only had time to do a 20 minute Recharge class..YogaX will have to wait til Sunday, just as well, my head is filled with too much of the day to stay focused..Well I have to see what's up with you all and fuel the machine! I hope you all had a stellar day!

Hey lady :). Yeah that is definitely hard when you are left with a baby to take care of while your man is away...I hope she doesn't have to go through that! If so though, it's good she will have some support! We have a dreamsheet where we can list multiple stateside and overseas bases we would like to go to. I told my husband a list of places to basically fill it up as much as possible because thats more of a chance of something decent rather than whatever crap they put us in randomly. We listed Germany, England, California, Colorado, Maryland, and a few others. We have never lived on the west coast so think it might be fun :). Anyway, theres still a chance we get something dumb but as long as it's not a remote or deployment (like Val is fearing pretty much), then I will make the best of it. Weren't those violent storms?? That's what we got the other night that really startled the dogs. I hadn't heard thunder like that in a long time. A friend of mine called and asked did she miss the hurricane alert because she said she felt it was that kind of storm!! Have a great day!

Thunder can be pretty terrifying! We had a lightening storm not too long ago during the night and it was hard to sleep through that too, even though there was no thunder.

Hey all!!  Although my fave girl was there, we got off to a hectic start even before opening due to the surprise visit from the Health Inspector.. I have been through this drill so many times that I know what they want to see so by the time they got up to my bar, things were in tiptop shape..My GM was in a bit of a panic though so I had to talk him down into being a "Little Fonzie" Hahahahaha 

Other than that it was a nice day.. I completed a Back and Bicep class..I am super hungry now so I am off to see how you all are doing and get some fuel..I hope you had a wonderful day!!!!

I did the ab class this morning. To be honest, it was much harder than I had expected it to be. I loved it though!! So glad I pushed myself to do it right after my leg & back class!

As for E, yes, he is quite tall for his age. Most people think he is a lot older than 4 years old when they see him. He is 43 inches tall and Im 68 inches tall, so it wont be long until he is towering over me. :)

Hahaha! You're not a recipe whore!! I love to share recipes! The enchilada casserole IS the taco casserole but instead of salsa or picante you use enchilada sauce. We have also kicked it up a notch by putting a full layer of green chiles in the first layer and putting a full layer of pickled jalapenos on the second layer. It was YUMM!!! Your dinner sounds divine too!! Did you add the extra crushed red pepper? I use kalamata olives instead of just plain black ones because I like the brininess. I'm working on a tomato tart with gruyere cheese and a whole wheat pastry flour crust. I'll let you know what comes of it.

Good Morning Ladies I started my morning off with a PlyoX class and feeling pumped!  It is my only class scheduled today so hopefully after work I can find a Insanity or Asylum class that doesn't involve pushups..Hahahaha

Well I better get a move on to get my work week started, I will chat with you girls later

Hey ladies back from my day! It was quick and painless so no complaints.. I tried out Insanity's Cardio Core and Balance class(38 minutes) I LOVED this class even though there were a few pushup drills. Oh and I love pushups but after yesterday's hour long class of mainly  pushups, I was looking to give the arms a break.. Let me tell you I did get a break with the arms and got a stellar ab workout without doing single crunch or even laying down.

Time to see how my girls are doing and fuel up! I hope you all had a happy healthy day!

I can't do a pushup and it's not because of my upper body strength but I have very small weak wrists and my body weight is too much to concentrate on such small bone structure. (That's just MY opinion!!!!) Maybe I'm just a whimp!! Have fun today!! Do you ever take a day off - not just work, but working out? Do you still get on the scale and you have mastered the formula for your maintenance? It seems with the amount of physical activity you do daily you would still be losing weight!! I know you don't need too and are at your goal, but your activity level is insane!!! I admire your energy. Do you sell any of that? I'll trade you in food....Have a great day!

yeah! I am counting the days...but it's weird bc i have a couple of family/friends events for the jewish holiday - passover - the darn night before...and then the exact moment i get back i have to change and go to a major event for my dad being honored. i am also working a lot...and have not prepared for the trip at all! i'm gonna fly with it...not really prepare at all..and pack the night before. LOL. I am just grateful that i'm gonna be in the western caribbean! and i am gonna be happy no matter what!

i love the almond breeze drinks, too. I add them to oatmeal and i'm sure they make a great addition to protein shakes, since you can get your protein from the powder anyways. :-)

Good Morning Ladies Well I didn't get to check out my new magazine last night, the yoga had me in a trance and I crashed as soon as my head hit the pillow. I will have plenty of time to peruse it at the laundry..I completed my Ab Ripper and traded up my CardioX for a HIIT25 class..

Well I am attempting to get an early start to my chores so I will chat with ya later

Back from my day..It always goes by way too quickly. I did get a chance to read the Bruce Lee article and have a few new Ab exercises that he utilized.. I ended the evening with a Chest Shoulders and Tricep class and man o manachevitz, a bizillion pushups much??  Tony went medival with this class and so will I for the next 3 weeks..I will master the 1 arm pushups and plyo pushups, I got airborne with a few of them but I have a long way to go..Well I better get going I need some fuel!

Have a fun day!!! Let me know about your Pasta Puttenesca. If you like it spicy, add an extra tsp of crushed red pepper. I also don't blot my anchovies and I add them in with the oil right after the garlic. I find it flavors the base well before the addition of the tomatoes. Hope you like it!!!

P.S. I am trying to convince husband we need to do either P90X or Insanity together. After all we have both right there at our house - thanks to daughter. I know I will only be able to do certain things, but I can work on it. We walk together alot, but we need to do more. I could do it by myself, but for some reason it appeals to me more to do it with him.

I am thinking that Shaun T will work best for me and Mark as we don't have an hour for Tony. We still have to walk the dogs. Husband, especially, is very devoted to the dogs. At this point the big lab has lost more weight than me. LOL! Seriously. I am going to check on the pasta dish and may make it next time I make pasta. We had pork chops last night, but are still working on the lasagne I made Saturday.
