Slept in sorta and was watching a few of the moving tributes and ceremonies for 9/11
I have to get going soon for groceries before my Sunday ritual of Fox NFL Sunday...My team (Chicago Bears) is not televized
On of the disadvantages of being so far south..Although I was invited to several places that has the "NFL Ticket" I am thinking a nice restful day at home sounds good(a hell of alot cheaper too) LOL
Okay ready set...Off to start my day
Hey girls!! Shopping done, Upper20 Core20 squashed...Well my outing lasted longer than expected but I did get home just in time for the Steelers vs Ravens game...Besides Sweetpea, Panda and Getmeback, not sure who else is a football fan but Hello Taylor??? Unsportsman like so soon in the season?? Not so cool, accept the the fact that the Ravens brought it today and please don't drink the haterade!!! My Bears beat the Falcons today!!!! Cutler actually played like a pro quarterback today(yes it is okay to trash talk your own team, as long as you stay true, I bleed Orange and Blue btw) Sorry Moogy know I lost you a bit on that but you know how amped up that FOOTBALL Season is here
Well I am off to get dinner out the oven and catch up with you before the Cowboys and Jets game tonight!!!

My scheduled off day of Turbo Fire...As I watch the forecast for today there are more storms brewing in the gulf and headed this way...I am guessing the rains will be around by 10 or so..Not sure what to expect as far as work but I still must prep for the day..I shall talk to you all later

Hey girls!! I suffered through a shift with a non needed coworker in the afternoon
I would have made KILLER dinero if he wasn't there(he is NOT a drink slinging star tender) HOWEVER between the time he left and the night crew showed, it was already raining pretty fierce..By the time the storms rolled in I had my purse on my shoulders and really ready to go..Hahaha..I was all set to go home and Pat asked me to go to "Harry's Beach Bar" With my brain stuck on "vacay mode" how could I say NO???
Now I am super hungry and it seems that maybe I should increase my intake again especially when I can feel my metabolism burn as I sleep and wake up extra hungry..That is the main reaso why I am buying Casein when finances permit..It is quite effective for when the body is at rest(sleeping) it is also suggested to add 10 g's with equal parts whey(post workout shakes)..Anway, if you ar looking to pump up the brawn, this is a great wat to go about it..
Food is pretty much the same PLUS protein shakes..Organic cottage cheese has Casein in it so until I can rationalize spending more on suppliments, this will suffice

HEY HEY!!! Work was ho hum..I arrived home a little later than the norm and I so wanted to get another class in(although it is "recovery week") but as i was driving home, i noticed the gas gauge dangerously clinging past the empty point so I stopped at the gas station...As I pumped my gas, I was greeted by Christian(Owner of the bar "Abbey Road") where he invited me out for drinks on him so what the hay?? YES
..We went to his bar and I had to stealthily sneak out after a 2 glasses of vino...
Now it is time to refuel and read diaries..

I used to do more yoga, but it's fallen off the track in the last year or so. I hear you about not letting go and therefore not getting the most out of the workout - I always used to get the giggles at the end of the workout when it was supposed to be "quiet time".

Off to a super late start...There were some major storms out there in the early hours...And boy was it super noisy and scary...Storms that were brewing in the Gulf had quite a few waterspouts(tornados in the water)...Ususally the dissapate or break up in the water but a few of them reached land as full blown tornados...I normally can sleep through this with no problem but between the thunder, lightning and winds that sounded like a freight train passing through had me a bit sketched out.. Needless this lasted til say 5ish and this started around 2ish??? I am super pissed I overslept
Not a chance for Turbo before work...It is still raining now so maybe they won't need me inside...Not counting on it but an extra day off would NOT hurt my feelings at all...LOL

Hey hey!!! Back and not a bad day...My presence was greatly welcomed and verbal appreciation came from co workers as well as my GM's room silencing hug that he gave me( this guy doesn't even shake hands with people)
Well I completed Core20 and instead of the stretch40(yoga) I swapped it out for the "Power Yoga DVD Umpqua gave me...Thank you again...
Okay this is more like I thought yoga should be....HOWEVER, I have some serious deep rooted issues..LOL My A D D and "ego issues" as Brian Kest" would put it would not let me fully embrace the class....At first I was angry and wanted to punch the dude, then i started wondering if he was a good kisser(me thinks so) LOL ...Then I started thinking about how I was gonna crush my fire class tomorrow, wondered what Val was doing, then it drifted off to just hot boys in general...LOL My head was all over the place, I am a maniac.. hahaha I really do feel less tense but probably would have got alot more from this class had I "let go"...Although this class is not scheduled for a few more weeks, I have time to psych up for this one again...LOL
Well I have to get some fuel, I didn't get much a chance to eat again today, I was on a solo mission....Much love to ya!!

It is rainy, windy and super dark again...The sun made a brief appearance around 7ish the sky was orange and faded to darkness...This storm popped up outta nowhere winds are 50mph....With no signs of easing up soon, I am going to wait it out or a bit but I have to get groceries....Well time to get my day started...
Hey Hey!!! I'm back...The rains were kind enough to show a little mercy on me while I shopped.
Considering I had nothing in my fridge, I did really well on keeping it a little above my budget..At GNC however, I almost spent just as much...I was out of many of my supplements and my brother usually hooks me up but he was till waiting to get them...Thankfully my new BFF at the GNC was not only super chatty, he ended up extending the 20% discount to me as well as telling me the days to come in where either him or the other guy that trains at the gym next door is there...I stayed there a bit longer than anticipated we talked workouts it was a bit refreshing to speak with someone whith so much passion about what they absolutely love.
Well i have this weeks meals all cooked bagged and tagged..Completed Greatest HIIT's20 , Upper20 and Ab10...Now it is time to get some fuel and catch up with you lovelies here...

I read up a little on that mask (never heard of it)--kinda hardcore. My impression is that IF you ever had to go on CPAP therapy (have to have a mask and air forced into your nose or mouth or both) it would be a total breeze after that torture--haha!

I slept in as you can imagine..I actually got up at the usual time, and man was the rain coming down in buckets..As I lay there contemplating whether to get up and start unpacking, and start my day, my eyelids protested and shut that idea down...LOL I am still feeling a bit sluggish so I am sure another nap will be in order before TURBO FIRE
I also really need to get some food for today...My plan was to save the big grocery shopping til tomorrow so today I can unpack instead of living out my suitcase for the next few weeks...I also need to tidy up a bit...I left the place in pretty good condition so that won't take long...
OOOH so I have some new toys for my evergrowing "wish list" the only down side to reading MMA and Muscle and Fitness is I want all the new equipment...Okay the top of the list is powerpunch gloves...They are SWEET!! They are gloves with detachable resistance bands..This would def up the ante with getting the arms shredded up http://www.powerpunchfightgear.com/ Next on the list is The Elevation Mask...This is the coolest toy ever..It increases lung capacity, increases anaerobic threshhold,and the best feature is the Eye covers for Claustrophobia Training...Okay I am getting all excited now, so I am gonna stop...Hahaha

Hey ladies!!! I had a bit of a delay today because I pretty much napped the day away, made a super quick run to the store for dinner and bfast tomorrow...Got home and destroyed my Fire45ez class and added an Ab10 class to work on Project Ab Mayhem...This is supposed to be recovery week 16 of the 20 week program..In actuality this is reall week 17 for me but I decided to do an extra week of advanced cardio training while I was on vacy since I wasn't able to do my 2 aday workouts while in Chi....
I am going to do a few more progress pics for the Turbo Fire camp tomorrow that is if my expert photog Tracy has the time...This time I am hoping that the bloating from TOM is gone..I did the calipers to check the body fat which is still at 18% so I am going to go extra hard to get it lower/leaner...
Speaking of I must get some fuel...With not much in the fridge or cabinets and my sleepathon today, I did not get much in the way of proper nourishment...I have to get some Casein pronto for the days I sleep longer, it is also suggested to take 20 g's right before bedtime to increase muscle mass..

The picnic was Awesome!!! It was so wonderful to see the adult versions of everyone!!! Not so awesome is my tummy...I am usually super careful when I eat other people's food....I have such a delicate stomach that anything out of the norm can be devastating...I am hoping this issue will resolve before my flight later
....I stuck with mainly protein so it must have been the spaghetti?? That is what happens when I don't stick to my rules of "when in doubt, ask what's in it"..
Anyways I am going to lie back down for a few and hope to feel better
Hey girlies I am back in St. Pete Yayyyy(NOT) LOL after my nap I felt worlds better but still a bit weak...I had enough time to get a healthy whole wheat veggie wrap and a bag of baked olive crackers to take on board with me...While I waited for my wrap to be made, I had a glass of Cabernet...Not the healthiest for the first thing I ingested so I had some gatorade and lots of water to replenish the electrolytes....
So on the plane I sat across the aisle from a little boy and his super cute dad on my first leg of the flight..As I sat there eating my wrap the kid smiles at me and fires away with the questions... LOL His dad looks over and says "Let me know when you have reached your limit, he can go on and on" LOL I told him no worries, I am used to the interrogations...Hahaha..Cute dad tells his son to at least wait til I am done eating to chat it up so he decided to sing to me while he patiently waited for me to finish breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? Not too sure it was 4:30 ish...
Father and son were wearing matching USF tees so when I asked if they attended Notre Dame game in South Bend, the dad starts chiming in as well...The kid continues to tell me all about his adventures in Chicago...The dad kinda nodded off and 20 or so minutes into the flight the kid fell asleep as well...I perused my Muscle and Fitness mag, jotting down so notes for my reseach in Whey and Casein powders....
We arrive in ATL. a little earlier than the ETA so i had an hour and a half til my flight to Tampa...Still feeeling a bit hungry, I searched my options for more fuel...With not alot to chose from on the healthy end, i opted for a Spinach and Artichoke Dip, hold the chips sub celery...I had another glass of Cab and lotsa water while i waited for the food...
I could see the departure gate from where I sat so I waited til the last possible moment to board...Before i could arrive at my seat, I heard "Dad the pretty lady is on the plane again"
Aww!!! Dad says "hello again" Dad was sitting in the aisle seat across from mine...The kid asks dad to switch seats so he might have another round of 150 questions...LOL I decided to turn the tables on the kid and hit him with every question possible..Hahaha...
Trevor(the kid's name) offered to share his Bose headphones with me so I could "jam out to the classics with him" LOL For a 5 yo this kid was pretty smart, has exceptional taste in music(although he is NOT a fan of Opera, he made that quite clear)..He also had the bluest eyes that would make your heart melt...
Trevor and I were bff's before long...His dad leans over and says"I would have offered you some peanut butter cookies on the last flight but by the looks of what you were eating and the mag you reading, I assume that you are a body builder, your arms are jacked
..I have a few friends that are bod builders and they all have strict diets...BUT would you like 2??? Trevor and I made them.." How could i say no...Plus I was still a bit hungry....They were deeeelish!!
At this point Dad was kinda flirting of course so was V... I checked out the ring finger and not a trace of a tan line nor ring..Convo floated from working out, Chicago and Clearwater(where they live) to where I work...I was tempted to give this guy my digits but I think if he is unattached and interessted, he knows where to find me...can't be too forward, ya know....
Anyways, it's getting late 130am..I need to sleep so I can crush out a super duper pumped up fire class and realease a few yayas!!! I havent had a decent turbo yell in a while...LOL

HIIT25, Upper20 and Ab10 done, done and done!!! I had to get that under my belt before my last full day here.... I went out with my friend Kyle who flew in to see me from Lacrosse Wisc yesterday...He only stayed for the day and for dinner and hopped back on the plane back cause that's how he rolls...LOL
Today I have a picnic to attend with classmates from Jr.High...I am so excited to see everyone.. They have get togethers every year but this is the first time I have attended (usually they have the fuctions during "season" and I can't take the time off) Well I must get going so I can get prepped...Have a wonderful Saturday

Nice meals. I'm not a football fan but can relate to the unsportsmanlike conduct. My sports- womens college basketball, Red Sox baseball, golf & tennis. My football joke is that I like to walk into a room with football fans & ask who the tight end is. :)
