Wow what an exciting game last night and a little drama with the partial power outage..LOL the party I attended was low key, only 1 Jello shot and I stuck with the bottle of vino I brought.. The host of the party is health conscious so our game snacks were on point..All in all a great evening.. Had the luxury of sleeping in this morning, got in a 30 minute HIIT class to kick off recovery week.. The usual chores await so I better get to it..Hope you all have a happy, healthy start to your week 
Back from my day..I got all my needful things complete and even had time for a little nap as well.. ..Added an Ab Shredder class to wind the afternoon down.. Good Evening!!

Good Morning and Happy Groundhog's Day
According to Phil(the groundhog) it will be short winter this year!! I arrived home alot later rhan the norm yesterday, they called off all but 1 person from the evening shift which was a bad call on the GM.. Although temps were slightly cooler then the norm, alot of people wanted to sit outside, especially visitors from the North so I stayed to help her out until it died down a little..
I must have been exhausted because I fell asleep watching tv.LOL I had no problem falling back to sleep when I got to my bed around 1ish...Up and at it for Championship class and its off to work ..

Had a really good night's sleep and even slept in a bit since Stretch class is only 30 minutes..Chilly start to the morning, but now that the sun is up it has warmed quite a bit and temps expected to be 68..The winds have calmed a bit so hopefully it will be a good beach day.. Completed my fave class Back and 6 Pack..This is my last week of the 30 day program..After pondering about the next workout plan, decided to do the Advanced Asylum 1 and 2 60 day Hybrid.. I want to keep building on strength so this will definitely do it, it will be tough going I am sure but as Shaun T would say " If you want to progress to the next level, ya gotta work!"
Thankfully the storm last night/this morning didn't cause problems in my area. Other areas were not as fortunate..It did bring in cooler temps and high winds especially the coastal areas..With that being said not sure if the bar will be open today but I still have to prep just in case..Either way I am cool with. Have a happy healthy day, chat with you all later, maybe sooner. LOL 
Had the day off and the temp barely made it to 60.. Normally I would have still been able to make a go of it but the wind was brutal..More than okay with that..I spent most of the afternoon in my recliner, yep it was a lazy day.. Yep felt good to veg out! I started getting antsy late afternoon so I added Turbo Fire's greatest HIIT's class..The only part of work that I missed was all the running around and since it was a sedentary afternoon, I wanted to get a little cardio in before a refreshing Margarita..

I'm glad to hear you weren't affected by the storms... I've been watching the news and some places got hit really hard... we had 50+ mph wind gusts in my area with some serious rain... it was a little scary to wake up to this morning.
excellent menu today bc i see veggies not only at one meal, but lunch & dinner. my diet is not so healthy these two years. and basically for the last year, i will have veggies, though a good amount, only once a day - lunch. dinner and snacking include protein bars, out of convenience.

Really windy day but the temps were good.. The storm that hit thenewMLE ans Sweetpea is headed my direction..Hopefully once it hits the gulf waters it will calm a bit, we shall see.. Hope all is well with everyone else that was in the storm's path.. Got out of work a little earl and I stopped off with my customers from NYC for one drink..Although I could have said no, this is their last day in town..They were very generous to me during their visit so I felt it only right..Added a relief class afterwards to stretch out legs..

Hey back from my day..It wasn't as busy as it felt but my co-worker was not ontop of his game today so I have to pick up the slack.. Didn't have much time to eat so I felt hungry all day and a little stressed.. Came home and decided regardless of no matter how late it was to add a Power Yoga class to release some negative energy.. Please forgive my mini rant however I must but it will be brief..LOL So you know that 9am mandatory meeting with the vendor that was supposed to be held yesterday? Well the vendor that runs it NEVER showed up. No call, no show
There were 5 of us from work that went to O'Maddy's( bar/restaurant) on Gulfport Beach to attend this meeting..It is only a 5 minute drive from my house and it is alot closer than my job..But still how annoying that we waited and waited and we sat through a staff meeting for a place we don't work..LOL They were really nice though and after numerous call to the vendor, we gave up on her around 10..
3 of us decided not to let the day go to waste and played tourist a bit, walked around the pier, window shopped and checked out the nieghbohood a bit..We went back to O'Maddy's when they opened at 11 for lunch and a few drinks..
We had a house party to attend afterwards and we all agreed that we were not going to hang out too late and boy was that a big superfail...Hahahaha Cab dropped me back home 11ish..Yeah that was a really long day for me and surprisingly I was up fairly early for "X-Trainer" class..
Well I have to play catch up on the chores as well as shop for groceries since I didn't have the chance to do so yesterday.. Catch up with you all later.

Hey back from my day..It kinda dawned on me as to why I had no problem getting up at the usual time.I am certain it had alot to do with the sugar free redbull that was put in the copious Jagerbombs at the party.. LOL For those of you who have been around for a while know that I had a serious caffeine addiction(hello 2 a day starbucks habit along with the sf energy drinks)..After kicking caffeine to the curb for almost a year and running, I can say I don't miss the super intense edginess.. I guess I didn't anticpate the reprecussions from consuming say 1/2 of a can but WOWSERS! No Mi gusto..LOL
While at the store my mind was racing about all the things I needed to get done..Before I worked up to a full blown panic attack, I got the basic necessities at the store and called it a day..Blew off the laundry trip and prepped my meals for the week since that is the only chore that actually enjoy doing..Took a long power nap and chatted with my Mom for a bit before crushing Ab Shredder class.. Feeling back to normal I am off to get some fuel and attempt to get to bed early tonight.. Have a great evening all!!

Championship class this morning was killer, now that I have that under my belt it's off to get this last shift of the week out the way..I am not too thrilled about a 9am mandatory meeting I have to attend tomorrow, that is beyond lame!! Today is " Gasparilla Day"(invasion of the pirates parade) in Tampa. It's alot like Mardi Gras but everyone is dressed like pirates..Hopefully we will still be busy but alot of the locals will be missing at the beach..Well I better get going, catch up with you all later, have a wonderful weekend all

man, i have so much protein powder mix in my house! If only i took the time to make it! maybe tomorrow i will use some. lately, i am far more into bars. they seem to dampen my hunger far better than liquids...
i use almond milk all the time in my fiber one cereal. it adds hardly any calories. what would be good is if i had 2% greek yogurt, cottage cheese, egg, or something besides a protein bar lol with it. i am a protein bar addict! but i do try to get the recommended veggie servings in - usually my healthiest meal of the day is lunch at work. all other meals tend to involve bars lately...on weekends i try to be a lil bit better...

Sorry I didn't get back to you all yesterday, I have a really good reason though, the dog ate my homework, JUST KIDDING, LOL.. After work, I stooped off at the store which happens to be next door to my fave neighborhood Bistro..My friend who bartends there spotted me and beckoned me inside, I said to her okay just ONE glass of vino and I have to go home..She was about to pour a glass for me when the owner comes up and tells me that her friend had to cancel for the "Winemaker's Dinner" and since it was already paid for I could come as her guest. Well who could pass up an offer like that? Not I says the wino..Hahahaha..Seriously that was super cool seeing as though the event was 80 bucks per person.
Still in my work garb so I went home and got dolled up.. There were 20 or so people at the dinner, most of them I knew..I've been to plenty of tastings for work but this one was awesome to have the owner of the vineyard there sharing his stories of growing up on his granparents land in Prosser Washington..
Dinner was superb, Starters were Pear,Fennel and Frisee with Proscitto.. Pate with granny smith apples paired with a 2011 Pinot Gris
First Course was Red Curry-Coconut Bisque with King Crab salad paired with a 2011 Riesling
Second Course- Grilled Pacific Salmon with wild mushroom and Syrah butter sauce wild rice and pork belly cracklings paired with 2009 Syrah
Third Course- Braised Buffalo Short ribs Espresso-Mole Glaze, Blackberry Compote Celery root Puree paired with 2009 Cabernet Sauv
Dessert- Triple Cream Brie en croute, apple chutney paired with 2010 Riesling Ice wine
Needless to say I got home really late,around 10:30..Still up and at it with Back and 6 pack class this morning and although I could really use a nap, I gotta keep moving and hopefully work will keep me busy so the day will fly by(I hope, LOL )

It sounds like you had a really good time at the party! Isn't it great when you attend something where the host is just as worried about being healthy as you? Not my party last night my options were buffalo chicken dip, artichoke dip, mac and cheese, and chili with sour cream and cheese...for dessert corn bread and mini rice krispy treat footballs filled with reese's peanut butter cups!
