Good Morning Wow what an exciting game last night and a little drama with the partial power outage..LOL  the party I attended was low key, only 1 Jello shot and I stuck with the bottle of vino I brought.. The host of the party is health conscious so our game snacks were on point..All in all a great evening.. Had the luxury of sleeping in this morning, got in a 30 minute HIIT class to kick off recovery week.. The usual chores await so I better get to it..Hope you all have a happy, healthy start to your week

Back from my day..I got all my needful things complete and even had time for a little nap as well.. ..Added an Ab Shredder class to wind the afternoon down.. Good Evening!!

B- Almond Breeze shake with whey protein, 1/2 banana natural pb and blueberries

L- LF Cottage cheese and grapefruit

S- Popcorn

D- Chicken Breast atop spring mix, cucumber, red onion, roma tomato, 1 boiled eggwhite, 1/2 yolk, rf blue cheese crumbles, red wine vin and fresh lemon...

It sounds like you had a really good time at the party! Isn't it great when you attend something where the host is just as worried about being healthy as you? Not my party last night my options were buffalo chicken dip, artichoke dip, mac and cheese, and chili with sour cream and cheese...for dessert corn bread and mini rice krispy treat footballs filled with reese's peanut butter cups!

Good Morning and Happy Groundhog's Day According to Phil(the groundhog) it will be short winter this year!! I arrived home alot later rhan the norm yesterday, they called off all but 1 person from the evening shift which was a bad call on the GM.. Although temps were slightly cooler then the norm, alot of people wanted to sit outside, especially visitors from the North so I stayed to help her out until it died down a little..

I must have been exhausted because I fell asleep watching tv.LOL I had no problem falling back to sleep when I got to my bed around 1ish...Up and at it for Championship class and its off to work ..

Good Morning Had a really good night's sleep and even slept in a bit since Stretch class is only 30 minutes..Chilly start to the morning, but now that the sun is up it has warmed quite a bit and temps expected to be 68..The winds have calmed a bit so hopefully it will be a good beach day.. Good Morning Completed my fave class Back and 6 Pack..This is my last week of the 30 day program..After pondering about the next workout plan, decided to do the Advanced Asylum 1 and 2 60 day Hybrid.. I want to keep building on strength so this will definitely do it, it will be tough going I am sure but as Shaun T would say " If you want to progress to the next level, ya gotta work!"

Thankfully the storm last night/this morning didn't cause  problems in my area. Other areas were not as fortunate..It did bring in cooler temps and high winds especially the coastal areas..With that being said not sure if the bar will be open today but I still have to prep just in case..Either way I am cool with. Have a happy healthy day, chat with you all later, maybe sooner. LOL

Had the day off and the temp barely made it to 60.. Normally I would have still been able to make a go of it but the wind was brutal..More than okay with that..I spent most of the afternoon in my recliner, yep it was a lazy day.. Yep felt good to veg out! I started getting antsy late afternoon so I added  Turbo Fire's greatest HIIT's class..The only part of work that I missed was all the running around and since it was a sedentary afternoon, I wanted to get a little cardio in before a refreshing Margarita..

RYC: It's funny you mention whether I'm finding enough time for myself because I'm starting to think I'm not. Yesterday and this morning I was very cranky towards the boyfriend over something that would normally probably not even phase me... we'll see.

I'm glad to hear you weren't affected by the storms... I've been watching the news and some places got hit really hard... we had 50+ mph wind gusts in my area with some serious rain... it was a little scary to wake up to this morning.

excellent menu today bc i see veggies not only at one meal, but lunch & dinner. my diet is not so healthy these two years. and basically for the last year, i will have veggies, though a good amount, only once a day - lunch. dinner and snacking include protein bars, out of convenience.

Really windy day but the temps were good.. The storm that hit thenewMLE ans Sweetpea is headed my direction..Hopefully once it hits the gulf waters it will calm a bit, we shall see.. Hope all is well with everyone else that was in the storm's path.. Got out of work a little earl and I stopped off with my customers from NYC for one drink..Although I could have said no, this is their last day in town..They were very generous to me during their visit so I felt it only right..Added a relief class afterwards to stretch out legs..

Whoa! to your reaction to the redbull--I'd also consider the aspartame (I presume is in it) as something you reacted to re: anxiety/panic feelings. Everyone is different with this stuff as well as pharmaceuticals. Good that you caught what it was--of course I'm not surprised because you're very in tune to your bod's reactions!

Hey back from my day..It wasn't as busy as it felt but my co-worker was not ontop of his game today so I have to pick up the slack.. Didn't have much time to eat so I felt hungry all day and a little stressed.. Came home and decided regardless of no matter how late it was to add a Power Yoga class to release some negative energy.. I always feel that way in the morning too... where does the time go! As for your comment yesterday... I'm glad you had a good weekend as well. You definitely need stuff like that! What's the fun if all you ever do is count calories and analyze your day! You gotta have a little fun.

No real plans for my birthday, I'm not sure why...it just doesn't seem like my birthday this year... I don't know if I think that's a good thing or a bad thing.

It sounds like we are running on a parallel track - working on our day's off, enjoying the cooking and watching the time evaporate!! RYC, I missed Anthony Bourdain last night because of the bridal shop trip, but I read a review this morning. R&o's, the poboy place, is in my old neighborhood! We used to walk or ride bikes there. Their food is very good, but the atmosphere is very loud. It is not a well insulated building and it is very family style with paper towel rolls on the tables. (You definitely need them because the gravy from the roast beef poboy drips down your arms!!) So if you want good food and conversation, you will get the food, but the conversation may be difficult!! Pho Tau Bay is my brother's favorite place. He used to go once a week for pho, I like spring rolls wrapped in rice paper with peanut sauce. We have only taken out because of our work schedule. I have to say, I have never eaten from a food truck. Don't know why, just never have, so I don't know anything about TAceaux Loceaux except only the locals would appreciate the name!!! They are doing a lot of prep for the Super Bowl, but it is right in the middle of Mardi Gras season and all the tourists are going to be scooping up the crawfish!! It's a bumper season and I love boiled crawfish! Of course, we boil our own. I'll see if I can catch a replay on Anthony. Hope you have a great day!!

Morning V! I have a seriously bad reaction to drinking red bull. I once had 1/2 a can of it at work in the morning, and proceeded to spend the rest of the day shaking at my desk. It was truly awful; I won't touch the stuff anymore LOL!

Good Morning Please forgive my mini rant however I must but it will be brief..LOL So you know that 9am mandatory meeting with the vendor that was supposed to be held yesterday? Well the vendor that runs it NEVER showed up. No call, no show There were 5 of us from work that went to O'Maddy's(  bar/restaurant) on Gulfport Beach to attend this meeting..It is only a 5 minute drive from my house and it is alot closer than my job..But still how annoying that we waited and waited  and  we sat through a staff meeting for a place we don't  work..LOL  They were really nice though and after numerous call to the vendor, we gave up on her around 10..

3 of us decided not to let the day go to waste and played tourist a bit, walked around the pier, window shopped and checked out the nieghbohood a bit..We went back to O'Maddy's when they opened at 11 for lunch and a few drinks..

We had a house party to attend afterwards and we all agreed that we were not going to hang out too late and boy was that a big superfail...Hahahaha  Cab dropped me back home  11ish..Yeah that was a really long day for  me and surprisingly I was up fairly early for "X-Trainer" class..

Well I have to play catch up on the chores as well as shop for groceries since I didn't have the chance to do so yesterday.. Catch up with you all later.

Hey back from my day..It kinda dawned on me as to why I had no problem getting up at the usual time.I am certain it had alot to do with the sugar free redbull that was put in the copious Jagerbombs at the party.. LOL For those of you who have been around for a while know that I had a serious caffeine addiction(hello 2 a day starbucks habit along with the sf energy drinks)..After kicking caffeine to the curb for almost a year and running, I can say I don't miss the super intense edginess.. I guess I didn't anticpate the reprecussions from consuming say 1/2 of a can but  WOWSERS! No Mi gusto..LOL

While at the store my mind was racing about all the things I needed to get done..Before I worked up to a full blown panic attack, I got the basic necessities at the store and called it a day..Blew off the laundry trip and prepped my meals for the week since that is the only chore that actually enjoy doing..Took a long power nap and chatted with my Mom for a bit before crushing Ab Shredder class.. Feeling back to normal I am off to get some fuel and attempt to get to bed early tonight.. Have a great evening all!!

I'm glad you were able to get up for your morning class and go about your day today! Ben Affleck is the star, director (and I think producer along with Clooney?) of Argo. Alan Arkin, John Goodman and Clea Duvall (love her) were also in it, along with loads fo other people you've probably heard of. Great ensemble cast and just amazing that the whole thing was a true story. I probably wouldn't have chosen to see that type of movie, but I'm really glad I went!

Sounds like you had a fun day yesterday!!! That definitely stinks about the caffeine... It has me thinking though... I've always been a diet pepsi or green tea girl, and over the past 6 months I've started drinking coffee and my anxiety is through the roof over the same time period... I attributed it to having a lot of stress going on in my life, but I'm wondering if the coffee is playing a part... Somthing to think about... Have a great evening!!

Good Morning Championship class this morning was killer, now that I have that under my belt it's off to get this last shift of the week out the way..I am not too thrilled about a 9am mandatory meeting I have to attend tomorrow, that is beyond lame!!  Today is " Gasparilla Day"(invasion of the pirates parade) in Tampa. It's alot like Mardi Gras but everyone is dressed like pirates..Hopefully we will still be busy but alot of the locals will be missing at the beach..Well I better get going, catch up with you all later, have a wonderful weekend all

Just a little addition to GDs spag squash direction on his diary--you can cook it whole in the microwave, just pierce the skin with a knife in several places beforehand. It can be a little difficult to cut in half before cooking, but you can also cut it in half, remove the seeds, put the cut-side down on a glass plate or pan and cook away. It's a great sub for pasta--pretty neat little vegetable:-)

hey there :-) i will definitely leave early wed, but i prefer to have the day off as I have planned to go to a bootcamp class on that morning, instead of tomorrow...and i have a dermatologist appt planned for wed at 2pm as well (instead of going tomorrow!) and as for tomorrow, i am planning to drive an hour up to westchster county to my best friend - she almost always comes here....so i figured if i have wed off, then i can drive to see her for the majority of the day tomorrow! we shall see about my boss....i really hope i get that day, as i am cancelling bootcamp tomorrow (and we are supposed to go 2x a week according to the contract!)

man, i have so much protein powder mix in my house! If only i took the time to make it! maybe tomorrow i will use some. lately, i am far more into bars. they seem to dampen my hunger far better than liquids...

i use almond milk all the time in my fiber one cereal. it adds hardly any calories. what would be good is if i had 2% greek yogurt, cottage cheese, egg, or something besides a protein bar lol with it. i am a protein bar addict! but i do try to get the recommended veggie servings in - usually my healthiest meal of the day is lunch at work. all other meals tend to involve bars lately...on weekends i try to be a lil bit better...

Good Morning Had a full night of sleep, great stretch class and good to go today.. The weather is expected to be really nice so it should be a good shift..  Catch up with you all later, Happy Friday everyone

Hey awesome workday with some really cool patrons so no complaints..Keeping it short and sweet, Good Evening!!

B- Almond Breeze shake with whey protein, 1/2 banana, natural pb and strawberries

L- Quiche, 2 strips of Turkey Bacon

S- Bhuja snack nibbles

D- Garlic and Herb Chicken Breast atop Spinach, cucumber, roma tomato, 1 whole eggwhite, 1/2 yolk, ff feta, red wine vin and fresh lemon juice..2 glasses of Edmeades (red)

Progress as of today - 93 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

I am hoping today is our last day of freezing weather; it's supposed to warm up a few degrees over the weekend. Oh, I hope it does. This morning we were at minus 40 celsius with the windchill :(

RYC - i'm watching The Walking Dead on netflix, so not sure what channel it is on! I know lots of Walking Dead fanatics around here, that's why I decided to give it a try ;)

I'm glad you are caught up on sleep now. I need to think about packing next week so I want to pick your brain about whether shorts are necessary or if I should just stick to shirts and layers. I know it's impossible to predict the weather so I want to be prepared for a range of temps!

Good Morning Sorry I didn't get back to you all yesterday, I have a really good reason though, the dog ate my homework, JUST KIDDING, LOL.. After work, I stooped off at the store which happens to be next door to my fave neighborhood Bistro..My friend who bartends there spotted me and beckoned me inside, I said to her okay just ONE glass of vino and I have to go home..She was about to pour a glass for me when the owner comes up and tells me that her friend had to cancel for the "Winemaker's Dinner" and since it was already paid for I could come as her guest. Well who could pass up an offer like that? Not I says the wino..Hahahaha..Seriously  that was super cool seeing as though the event was 80 bucks per person.

Still in my work garb so I went home and got dolled up.. There were 20 or so people at the dinner, most of them I knew..I've been to plenty of tastings for work but this one was awesome to have the owner of the vineyard there sharing his stories of growing up on his granparents land in Prosser Washington..

Dinner was superb,  Starters were Pear,Fennel and Frisee with Proscitto.. Pate with  granny smith apples paired with a 2011 Pinot Gris

First Course was Red Curry-Coconut Bisque with King Crab salad  paired with a 2011 Riesling

Second Course- Grilled Pacific Salmon with wild mushroom and Syrah butter sauce wild rice  and pork belly cracklings paired with 2009 Syrah

Third Course- Braised Buffalo Short ribs Espresso-Mole Glaze, Blackberry Compote Celery root Puree paired with 2009 Cabernet Sauv

Dessert- Triple Cream Brie en croute, apple chutney paired with 2010 Riesling Ice wine

Needless to say I got home really late,around 10:30..Still up and at it with Back and 6 pack class this morning and although I could really use a nap, I gotta keep moving and hopefully work will keep me busy so the day will fly by(I hope, LOL )

Thankfully it was busy enough at work so I really didn't have time to think about how tired I was.. LOL I arrived home and took a well needed power nap and feeling refreshed but I am sure the train will be coming in early tonight.. Well I am going to catch up with you all now and chillax..Good Evening all!

Wow V!! That's sounds awesome!! What a great impromptu experience! A customer gave me a bottle of Riesling for a Christmas present. The bottle is beautiful, but the wine is a little sweet for my taste. I would have loved the Cabernet, but I am not much on ribs. I would have had to have seconds on first and second course and dessert too!!! I can't imagine growing up on a vineyard. I bet the stories were great. Hope your day is a good one! Still beautiful here with a little fog this morning.
