Hello everyone :D  Can't beleive there are still a few around from back when I was here years and years ago!  How has everyone been?  My little guy is now eight whole years old! I have decided after gaining weight yet AGAIN that I have to get myself into shape for him.  He needs me around!  I had joined a site eight weeks ago where I keep track of EVERYTHING I eat and have lost almost 30 lbs in eight weeks so things are going better :D  Thought I would come check in on my old friends here to see who's still around.  Did Pastagal come back at all?  Hope to get to know many others here as well!  

Progress as of today: 29.5 lbs lost so far, only 131.5 lbs to go!

OMG!! Hey girl :) Welcome back! Awesome job on losing 30 lbs already :) Are you still at the hotel? Are you on FB? If so I will leave my info for you here..I can't believe your little guy is 8 WOW :) So to answer your question yes I drink a gallon of water every day. I usually consume half of that during my workouts and since i work outside in that hot sun, it is pretty easy for me..Anyhoo once you get used to consuming it, the trips to the Loo won't be as frequent.Try consuming 8 oz per hour that may solve the prob.. Great to hear from you, don't be a stranger :)

Hey! Yes I'm on FB and that's why I don't make it here as often! I spend time chatting on there at night. Yup, still at the hotel :D Hoping to retire soon haha. I'm trying to catch up on some of you skinny girls!~ WOW I can't believe the losses I'm seeing from those I knew years ago. This place is awesome! I really do need to stick around and get some help from you who know what your doing :D Let me know your info, I will add you on FB :D I'm gonna try that gallon of water thing..I have been working on and and up to about 1/2 gallon now, maybe a little more. Hey everyone!  I'm still alive...the last month has been crazy!  My hubby's birth father died after having a stroke :(  Then we all got the stomach flu, then I got strep throat and an infection of the tonsil.  OH man did that HURT!  I could not eat or drink anything for two days.  I did force myself to drink water but that was it.  After that I spent the week eating because I could :(  I am now feeling pretty darn good after lots of antibiotics which caused major heartburn to top everything else off.  Tried to get back on a few days ago but the site was not working.  SO today I am back.  I have gained just a few lbs but by next week I should be back to normal.  I am back on the plan full force as of the 1st of Jan  Hubby is thrilled that he can now use our bathroom scale that only goes up to 330.  That is a 50 lb loss for him now :D  YAY.  We are just both feeling so much better.  Well, I have to head to work so I hope you are all doing well.  I will read tonight at work to catch up :D  

Progress as of today: 38 lbs lost so far, only 110 lbs to go!

I am happy to report that I have got to get some new clothes!  The last two days I have been sick but the good news is I lost more weight :D  I'm now down to 253.  Can you believe it!?  I'm almost back down to where I was when I started losing YEARS ago...MANY years ago. My shirts are getting too big and needed to get smaller pants as well.  Still doing very good and so is hubby.  He can now weigh in on our home scale :D He is down to 328 from 380. Just wanted to check in and let you know I'm still kicking butt and still NO soda or no eating late.  I think this is the longest I have stuck with it so far and did so well :D

Progress as of today: 45 lbs lost so far, only 103 lbs to go!

This last week I have lost 5 lbs!  YAY!  I have not been on here much but I have been doing wonderful :D  Hubby too!  He has lost 11 inches and I have lost a little over 5.  He has lost about 35 lbs total so far and I have matched him moving close to a 40 lb loss now for me!  I have been SO busy, my oldest son has moved out and I was helping them get going.  He has moved to MO and I'm in WI.  I miss them terribly and it's been 2 days now since the move.  Now I am fall cleaing the house so been spending all my time on that.  Just wanted to check in and let you all know I'm hanging in there and doing great!  As soon as I get this house done I will be on more often.  Hope everyone is doing good :D  

Progress as of today: 37 lbs lost so far, only 111 lbs to go!

It's been three days and I'm letting myself make stupid mistakes becuase I'm NOT here every day.  Time to come back and report every day before I end up back to where I was before.  I know all too well how that can happen.  Been there many times before.  I'm not doing it this time.  Still not giving in to eating after 8 or drinking soda and I feel as long as I can control those two things I'm not falling back to my old ways :D  Even portion sizes have been pretty good.  Just fell back on eating the healthiest is all.  Gotta get control back on that part and I will be back on track!  About to fry up some onions in a tiny bit of olive oil along with an egg and have breakfast :D  I will see you all tomorrow.  I work both tonight and tomorrow so will try to do some reading and see how you all are doing.  Have a great day everyone :D

UGH, I hate that the site was down for a while now I'm out of synch with getting on here every day!  Well, I am still on track and STILL no soda :D  I goofed twice this week but not a full blown eat a thon by any means :D  I'm just SO proud that I have NOT had a soda yet.  And we even went out to eat once and I had water instead of soda :D   Hubby was VERY proud of me!  I lost another lb this last week, not what I wanted but at least it's a lb.  I was hoping for at least 2.  Been doing great at work and not eating after 8pm there.  At home I goofed twice and ate after 8 :(  I have to start my new month over and my goal was to no do the "no eating after 7pm".  I'm not sure when I will start that but for now my plan is to start on Nov 15th...easy to remember that way.  I hope everyone else is doing great!  I will read when I can...I have off of work today but trying to get the cleaning done while I am home.  SO little time lately :(

It was strange this morning when I was making breakfast.  I had a qt sized baggie filled with cut up boiled potatoes which I usually eat the next day covered in cheese (I would eat the whole bag myself) this morning I took 1/2 of that bag and split THAT much between hubby and I for breakfast along with one egg and NO cheese but with sliced onion instead.  It was still delicious and filling.  I just find so many things that I used to do so crazy,and I would never do now!  And that was only a few months ago.  I realize now WHY we are overweight.

Ok, as for my past week.  I am now 267...lost nothing this week because the past few days I wasn't the BEST I could have been.  Missing from here was getting to me I think.  Glad it's back up and running! I did not gain ANY weight so that was good but didn't lose either :( I STILL did not eat after 8pm and I STILL did not give into the soda :D  SO I have done well in my book to avoid those two things which were the main two reasons I am the way I am today.

I am now totally 100% back on plan and doing good :D  The off time is one I needed anyhow I think.  I just needed those PB bugels lol  I had been craving them!  I sure hope you all are doing well...will read in a bit to see what everyone is up to.  Right now have to get some cleaning done since it's my weekend.  Don't have to work today or tomorrow :D I still can't believe I didn't cave into the soda!! :D  YAY for me!  

Progress as of today: 31 lbs lost so far, only 117 lbs to go!

Yes we were all nomads for a week and everyone was freaking out!!! Thank goodness Sweetpea came up with the brilliant idea of starting the fb page,it proved to be more than just a temporary site, we all had the opportunity of getting to know each other better on a private page that only DDers could view...Are you on fb?

I'm confused, a little upset, frustrated...ya, all those things.  First of all I am feeling thinner, feeling better and yet haven't lost a lb since the last weigh in.  I'm going to take V's advice and lay off the Sobe water for about a week to see if that helps.  I stopped the last time I had a lose and nothing the week before when I was drinking the Sobe water.  SOO  We will see if that has anything to do with it.  

Well, I did bad yesterday...eating almost a whole package of the low fat ritz crackers with cream cheese!  UGH!  I was on the phone and just eating.  Not really hungry, just eating :(  BUT again, I didn't give up and went right back on plan.  Had a light dinner yesterday (soup with loads of veggies) so I am feeling better about that.  

Finally got a day off tomorrow but have to work at 6am on Friday :(  And tonight I have a busy night.  Have to watch the Biggest Loser with hubby and also have the Karate Kid that we want to try to get in tonight.  Also making dinner (casserole inside of a pumpkin :D )  FUN!  Hope you all have a great day today.  Going to try to get some reading done but don't know how much I will get in.  This weekend I have off work too :D  Can't wait.  First weekend in a LONG time that I didn't have to work :D  SO HAPPY!

Some days are good, some days are bad and some are in the middle. It sounds like you had an in the middle sort of a day. I am so pleased that you stopped yourself and got back on the wagon. That is a new behaviour and a valuable one at that - well done!! I bet you are looking forward to your weekend. Get some plans in place so it doesn't just dissapear on you.

Hello, Hello :D  Been pretty busy around here.  Won't be getting my menu on today as it isn't done and I am So tired tonight.  Will enter it all in tomorrow sometime.  Worked again tonight and have to again tomorrow.  Seems to be getting easier.  I take a Sobe lifewater along and at Zero calories I drink that when I start feeling hungry and it works.  The only thing I worry about is it seems that when I drink one of those a day my weight seems to hang on and not come off like when I don't drink it.  Water weight??  Or something else??  Anyone else drink this and have the same problem?  I dont' have the prob when I drink plain water.  Maybe it's in my head.  We made another change this week...went from white potatoes to Sweet Potatoes :D  Healthier for us.  I will have to have white potatoes at times because they are my FAVORITE and my little boys fav as well.  So it's a given that we will have them but just not as often.  Finding new recipes for good ol Sweet potatoes.  Still not eating past 8pm...soon will be moving that up to 7pm.  Just have to find out how long I have been doing that...has to be close to 30 days but I forgot.  Will update with that.  Well, off to bed.  Hope everyone had a great day.  I got a lot of reading in today :D  Have a few that I need to get to yet though but I will :D

You are right, it is getting close to 30 days, you started a little after me and my 30 days is up tomorrow. You are doing really well just keep on staying strong and keep in the front of your mind the things that are not an option for you. It will soon become natural for you to ignore those things that will drag you down. Keep going!!

Yeah, white potatoes were my fav also... Then I haven't had them for months and when I got one small potato in my food at my m-i-l's house, I didn't like it because it had a sweet taste... Funny how the body forgets and reacts. On the other hand, I believe I could get used to them and turn them my fav again in no time. That's what's so dangerous about eating behaviors... :(

you have great plans! nice. whatever you do, stay AWAY from YAMS, they are similiar to sweet potatoes but higher in calories and bad sugars that will spike your blood probably even more than white potatoes! good choice with the sweet potatoes. In my household, we were brought up to enjoy roasted veggies of all types, even potatoes of course, and all types of potatoes.

nice job to limit eating at night. If you don't eat past 7pm, that will be good if you are in bed by 10 or 11. If not, you may get hungry at night...if you want to be healthy about it, a glass of milk might be a good idea in the evening.

Hello and i am sorry to respond so late but I'm here...As far as the "low cal/no cal drinks does have a way of sneaking up on you,i am not too sure about the SoBe but when I was drinking crystal lite on a regular basis, sometimes 3 packets a day the weight wasn't coming off as fast and when they suggested to me that this was the cause as hard as it was I stopped drinking them,ironically enough I had one yesterday....For me I just can't afford to let something like a drink halt my progress...Not trying to lure you to the darkside but have you tried the Celsius yet??? I am sure it is around the same price and it burns calories and for you getting your caffeine fix as well...Plain water is your friend too!!! As far as the sweet potatoes go you could split in half and get 2 side dishes or meals if they are huge...I would imagine baking them and putting some ICBINB spray on them with a little nutmeg and cinnamon on them...
