Large sandwich wrap for breakfast - low carb wrap, ranch dressing, pastrami, cheddar, swiss, bacon, salami, pickles, lettuce.

Lunch was a steak and salad w/ blue cheese dressing.

Nothing much for dinner. I wasn't hungry, so I ate another piece of swiss cheese. It may have been the first time my 20 month old daughter tried swiss. She spit it out right away. She does love cheddar and american. I'm not positive if I really "like" swiss or not, but it's nice for a change. It's just got a different flavor.

Frozen low carb entree for lunch. It was a failed attempt at low carb chicken chow mein. I ate most of it anyways, but I won't be buying another one of those.

Today was kind of a boring day. I didn't have anything planned and it just turned cold and rainy, so I was stuck inside all day. I wasn't hungry, but I started craving all types of food. I ended up just frying up a small can of Spam, which I was craving. I ate most of the can, but it was a small one so it was alright. I was still craving a bunch of other stuff and kept thinking that cheating just one day wouldn't hurt. Well......I made it through the rest of the day without caving in to the cravings.

It's almost been 3 weeks on this go around of my diet and things have been going pretty smoothly. I do miss the carbs, but it hasn't been a huge strain. It helps that I have a reason for wanting to lose the weight right now.

Looking ahead, Thanksgiving will be a cheat day. I think it'll be anything goes, pop, snacks, and plenty of the usual Thanksgiving food. Maybe I should limit it to a 2 hour window of anything goes. I wonder how many calories can be consumed in 2 hours? 5,000?

No pop, no snacks, nothing after 7pm. Only about 60-70 ounces of water today. I actually slept in till around 9am this morning. I didn't have anything planned for the day and just kind of kept busy doing nothing worthwhile. It was sort of a relaxing day in that I didn't have to think much.

Lunch was just a couple of plates of salad, not exactly by choice. My wife, daughter, and I went to JB's for lunch and I just ordered the buffet bar. I've done it plenty of times in the past, but I'm trying to limit my carbs right now and didn't go look at the food first. Well, they had extras like soup, baked potatoes with all the fixings, lots of different types of prepared salads, and the typical lettuce based salad bar. Once I was going through the line, I suddenly realized that only about 1/4 of the items were going to be doable if I wanted to remain on track. I thought to myself that cheating for one meal wouldn't matter, but I also remembered past times when my one cheat meal turned into a few days of cheating or maybe even the end of another diet attempt. So I just ate a couple plates of salad.

Supper was a frozen low carb meal. It was pretty tasty, but kind of small. Not that I'm feeling hungry, but I just enjoy eating (overeating) a nice hot meal.
