No pop, no snacks, nothing after 7pm. Slimfast for breakfast. Nothing for lunch. Small pizza and large salad with all the fixings for dinner.

That "nothing after 7pm" is a good plan. We didn't have snacks around the tv when I was growing up but everyone in my ex-husband's family did, so I got used to having something in the evening. That, to me, was one of the hardest things to give up. Now whenever I want something after 7pm I go brush my teeth really well so I'm not so tempted.

Well, I went on vacation for 4-5 days. I didn't snack, drank a fair amount of water, and gained a couple of pounds. The gain was most likely due to overeating at every one of my meals. I had a meal or two after 7pm also. Besides general meal overeating, the only screwup I had was I ate 2 or 3 pieces of chocolate, probably equal to about 1/3 of a regular chocolate bar. All in all, I thought I did decent, or at least a lot better than in past times. I was really hoping that I wouldn't gain an ounce, but no such luck. I'm back home now, so can concentrate on eating better and dropping those pounds.

No regular pop, no snacks, nothing after 7pm. Breakfast was my favorite cereal with milk, Lucky Charms. Out of town for lunch and it needed to be real quick, so I ended up with a bacon double cheeseburger value meal, (burger, fries, Diet Coke). I wasn't real hungry for dinner, so I didn't eat it. Didn't get to weigh myself at the normal time of night, about 3 hours late, which probably accounts for weighing about a pound less than I should tonight. Water consumption was alright, about 75 oz, still short of my 100 oz goal per day.

Hi graindart, this is my first time reading your diary. My goodness, you've made fabulous progress! You must be so proud!

It was the Lucky Charms that caught my attention. I love Lucky Charms, they are my favourite, but I haven't had them since Christmas. I keep telling myself I'll eat a bowl as "desert" one night, but then I'm never hungry enough for them. Maybe tonight...

No pop, no snacks, nothing after 7pm. Breakfast was an omlette with smoked sausage, cheddar cheese, and a piece of white toast with butter. Lunch / dinner was at 3pm and consisted of a 6" sub sandwich, cup of potato w/bacon soup, and a Diet Pepsi. I had plenty of water today.

No pop, no snacks, nothing after 7pm. Up until 5am with the baby, slept until 11 am, so I didn't eat breakfast. Lunch was chicken strips with gravy and french fries. Nothing for dinner. Not enough water again.

Business has been slow. Not good from a financial point, but good considering the odd schedule that the new baby is causing me to function with. Tried to organize the office a little tonight. It's amazing how messy things can get over a few weeks. Little by litte it just piles up. Kind of like weight, little by little it just piles on until one day you look in the mirror and you're heavier than you ever thought you'd be. Unfortunately unlike a messy office, weight takes more than a day or two to "clean up".
